Another great experience with Fahnestock. We recently had one of our HVAC systems replaced. This was our second time using Fahnestock for this type of work as they replaced our other HVAC system in 2016. The overall experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Everyone was very professional and punctual and we were kept well informed through the entire process, and the value was outstanding. We contacted 3 other vendors for quotes but it was clear from the beginning that Fahnestock was heads and shoulders above all of them. Hopefully this will be my last HVAC replacement at this house but if not I will certainly use Fahnestock again.

They were quick and professional in terms of the service. I cant stress it enough, in terms of providing repair or services, they are great. However, I took two stars due to a severe lack of communication. Leaving out a number of details in relation to me being an ignorant new home owner and ultimately paying a bill that I thought I was not going to have to pay due to warranty coverage, the communication with this company was spotty at best. When paying my bill, there were no notes in there system regarding my past interactions with them which could have led to a smooth customer experience. I paid the bill because they fixed my HVAC problem, but I did so reluctantly. Word of advice if you use this company, make sure you are informed to the best of your ability and keep records of your own communication. The bill was not painfully expensive (less than $200), but by the time it came down to where communication would have been valuable, I felt it was either pay the bill or take a hit to my credit score. I will likely use this company again, but in a less trusting manner. Good luck to everyone out there.

Late on a Saturday my AC went out on a hot humid August evening. I called for service and left a message on the voicemail. Within 30 minutes I had a knock on my door and Abel got me fixed up and cooked off. I have the Gold Service plan and because of that the emergency weekend call was completely covered. The service technicians always do a very good job in taking care of my heat pump and inside heating/air conditioning unit. My unit is about 5 years old but when the heat pump compressor went out, Fahnestock replaced the compressor and loaned a unit to me so I could have air conditioning. Very good company ans I highly recommend the company.

The staff is professional and knowledgeable and very courteous. They came when they said they would and completed the replacement of my two HVAC systems in minimum time. They also assessed the problems I was having with air flow in my home and added a new mini split unit which I love. You can trust this company.

I was a little disappointed in the fact that in my call to set up service I was told they would call prior to coming to my house- they didn’t. I was told we would be first on the list from 8-10... the technician showed up at 9:45 and then was at my house until 10:30. I was quoted a price of service and then was charged extra due to the size of the filter. I was never asked about the filter prior to service. I felt that everything I was told prior to service was a lie. I called to talk about the issues and felt like they really didn’t care.
