I would tell your who my nails tech is but I’m trying to make sure I always have an appointment 😂 Jackie is truly the best! I am very particular about my nails and she delivers every time! I can’t wait to see how my baa as old will flourish in the fall.

Yo-Yo was personable and kind as she applied my hard gel manicure— making sure that I was happy with the shape and color of my nails. Then Molly did an excellent job executing my not so simple nail art design from Instagram. I am leaving with beautiful nails!

Had my second pedicure at this place last week. I will continue to come back to cosmo in the future. Each time I have brought a friend, and they were both satisfied as was I. Place is neat and clean. Lala Do does mine and always knows how to do them. I highly recommend their service. Please be sure to make an appointment, as they do get busy.

Jackee is the best!

First time here. Excellent location, beautiful decor. However I will not return. I got my nails done before heading to an important business meeting. My nails look horrible. Lumpy, ugly shape, the polish left little bubbles and it already looks like I need a fill! The residue from the product still hasn’t washed off my skin after 24 hours. My child could have done better. Also she charged me $65.00 for the worst set I’ve ever had. I am so disappointed I didn’t have time to go to my regular person, so she could correct this hot mess. Just not complimentary at all. Honestly, I want my money back and my time.

I came in with a pretty intricate design and was indecisive about how i actually wanted to do it, but they were so accommodating and helpful! i absolutely love my nails and this place and will definitely come back again!

Honestly the worst nails I’ve ever gotten. After spending $99 on a dip manicure and regular pedicure, the dip nails began slipping off like butter within the week. What’s worse, when they came off I noticed green spots on my nails. The nails were applied so poorly that they began lifting and trapped moisture. Protect your nail health and avoid this business at all costs. Truly terrible quality for a ridiculous cost.

Great service and Yoyo is the best!

I usually come here and schedule appointments. I was told to stand at the front until someone was available for the services I get . Then 20 mins later I was told to sit down and been just sitting for 30 mins without starting my gel pedicure or manicure. No one is paying attention to me as if I am not here . Highly disappointed. My appointment was at 6:00pm. Still sitting here at 7:22pm without anything starting.

My nails broke prematurely, Yoyo blamed it on me and was extremely rude and disrespectful. Yoyo said that it was my fault my nails broke because “who knows what I do outside of the salon” and my nails are long. As you can see from the pictures, my nails are not long but an average length. Yoyo told me and I quote, “if I want something cheap I should go somewhere else.” No, I’m not seeking something cheap, I want quality. My nail broke one week after my full set. I do not work out or do anything extraneous. The employees here do not value the customers, all they see is dollar signs. I was told it was my fault for not booking an appointment with Yoyo. She said getting my nails done by Wendy caused my premature nail breaking and low quality nails. I firmly believe that everyone in the salon should be servicing quality nails or they should not be assisting. I will never return to this salon again. I should not be expected to pay $65 for repairs. I waited an hour and a half to be serviced just to be blamed for their mistakes. Update: my nails and lashes are still thriving thanks to Yoyo and Molly. The service has not suffered due to Covid unlike many other places.I love this place!!!!! I literally come here for everything from waxing to mani/pedis and SNS. Yoyo and Molly are AMAZING and leave my nails looking amazing! This is your one stop shop for your waxing and nail needs!

Ive been to this salon a few times now and have always had a really good experience.Pros: Staff is super friendly, tons of colors to choose from, and the quality of work is really good. My nails have really held up since Ive started coming here and I only need to come back once a month! The dip is the BEST.Cons: The salon itself is pretty small, so you are almost always bumping into people when youre here. Once you sit down, its fine, but its something to be aware of. It can also be rather busy after work hours.Im coming back soon and I cant wait!

Love the look of the place but they essentially make up prices as they go and overcharge. Paid 120 for my lashes and they started falling out one day after. I also got my nails done, theyre super long and I got a design on both of my ring fingers and my total was 70. The girl next to me got acrylics barely longer than where her finger stopped with a simple purple outline of a flower on ONE finger and was charged 65 lmao. A repair for one of my nails, completely clear with a simple coat, was $7 dollars.Also, my nail broke two days after I got it done and they tried to blame it on me because theyre long. It has little to do with the length and everything to do with the quality of the work

I normally have a good experience but today was different. I got a gel set done last week that started coming off the next day. I come in that next day and the same man who did my nails quickly and shabbily tried to fix it. In the following 3 days the rest of the nails began to come off. When I came in 6 days later (now having my nails done or fixed twice in one week) I was told- by the lady who I guess plays a manager’s role- to produce the receipt and she gave me a hard time about whether I’d been there, whether I just had “oily nails”. So I pulled up my bank statement. The same guy tried to come and fix my nails but I asked for a new tech. She did my nails. Overall I noticed that the manager lady who was once very friendly to me now had an attitude. I’m not much of a complainer but I’m tired of nail technicians/salons who are willing to accept your money then act like it’s YOUR fault when your nails break prematurely. And this is one of those places. Just pray they don’t mess up or you’ll really see their true colors

Recently moved back into the area and needed a new place to go for nails & waxing... Found out about Cosmo Nail Bar through a family member whose been going for quite some time, and after my visit I understand her loyalty. Very friendly vibes and professional service. Thanks Cosmo you guys were Awesome

I give it a 4 just because the lady that did my pedi was fantastic. I’m mad I forgot her name. Also the place is really nice and has good music.On another note the guy working there wasn’t very good. He wasn’t friendly at all, did not say one word to me. My nails kept chipping I went back to him to fix the 4 nails that chipped two days after and it was a completely different color. I’m not sure if he didn’t think I would notice or what.

This is my nail salon forever! They do great work and keep my nails, toes and lashes on point! They do great work and if you like a little bling, they are great at that too!

They did my nails to perfection with me just walking in. My nail tech was Johnny and he’s the first male nail tech I let do my nails and he will now be the only tech doing my nails!!!He got the shape and length perfect and on top of everything my nails lasted a monthDefinitely worth my timeAnd my pedicure was the bomb too

I had a very good experience at Cosmo Beauty Bar. I got in and out. Everyone was very professional and polite. I will definitely be going back.

This place is great! I got a pedicure and right when I left I got into my car and accidentally chipped my polish on my car door. I came right back in and the nail technician stopped what he was doing to fix my nail. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Would definitely recommend!

Really good manicure

Horrible customer service, I was so excited when I read some of the reviews that this place has and I got so disappointed with the guy that did my nails, he was extremely rude, kept rolling his eyes every time I asked to fix something on my nails. I asked to speak with the manager and she asked if I had explained what I wanted to get done! I left with my nails looking like a mess and I had to pay for it.

This location cannot service professionals who work on a tight schedule. Ive booked an appointment and had to wait at least 40 minutes before being seen, if at all, multiple times. If you want good and timely customer service I would consider elsewhere. Besides, it is hit or miss with good nail work here.

I visited on a weekday morning with an appointment and enjoyed nail services by knowledgeable Jackie. Found the place to be well organized, clean, comfortable with a contemporary decor. Congenial staff with attention to customer service, great selection of nail services and polishes. If you hear construction noise its because they’re renovating the basement to make space for additional beauty services!

Very few places that I will go to for nails in DC but I recommend here bc they understand nail care. And they polish well.

I will never go to this nail salon again!! I paid 80$ an the next day i broke my nail(pointer fingernail).. i called an had a conversation with the owner Yoyo and she was very disrespectful and rude. On top of not listening she rushed me off the phone. Smh It was my first time and definitely be my last..
