Best gym I have been to, never overcrowded, clean, always easy to find space to do whatever you want to do.

Have to say, I see lots of good reviews on this place but my experience was less than that. I walked in few days ago, Looking to possibly join up....since last time I was a member of a gym was back in March, onyx in bellmore. The owner, Im assuming, was extremely uninterested in my inquiry and gave me a very high price of $200 down and $65 per month! I realize gyms have taken a hit with pandemic and all but that price is way more than I was Looking to pay. Ive trained at tons of gyms in past from super hardcore to commercial and the owner acted like he couldnt care less for my business....didnt offer me a tour of place, ask me any questions, nothing. So, I obliged and walked out...highly unimpressed. Not to mention place was empty. I have decent equipment at home and was just looking for gym ro supplement for couple times per week. Im headed to crunch in bellmore for $20 month and very comparable equipment. Unless money is no object and youre ready for an owner who clearly doesnt want/care or need your business, then Id skip Sparta for a gym that wants your business.

Sparta Gym Nail technician was great. The spa was clean, service was top-notch. I highly recommend this spa to friends and family.

Having attended a multitude of facilities this place stands out to me for many reasons.Environment, professionalism, quality.The environment is absolutely inspiring, red and black EVERYTHING. The minute you walk in you already know its time to get to work.The staff and the rest of the people there are very welcoming, helpful and encouraging. Being a new member I felt comfortable after my first few days.The actual gym? I honestly dont think you could find a better gym for the value. The equipment is maintained well (Ive witness the owner meet with vendors many times to have machines serviced or have padding redone), they clean routinely. Not to mention this place probably has the best equipment (old school).

The entire staff is always amazing and gets to know all members by name. They are very supportive during the workout. Recommended highly.

Absolutely love love love this gym. When I first started working out I really needed help getting myself started and everyone who workouts there is so willing to help. They have all the equipment you need and more. Plus the owner and all his employees are simply fantastic. Everyone looking to join a gym, I recommend this one!

This is the best gym I have ever been too. It has all of the equipment you need and the people that work out there are very friendly and courteous. It is clean and spacious. I cant say enough about how much I like this gym. The only negative is the type of music they play. I bring my headphones.....

The lady in the morning along, I believe Felicia with her young boy co worker, have a great sense of humor. They are fun to be around & Keep the Place clean.Meanwhile, The late night staff is snotty and disgusting attitudes. Great & Clean Gym.

Best gym if you are serious about working out. Gene trains and there is always someone in the gym willing to help you. Very easy to join preexisting workout groups.

Really bad experience here.I walked in the gym after looking at the website and seeing that they offered a free 3-day pass to try the gym. I asked the guy at the front if I could use a day pass to try the gym. He asked if I had a town ID. I told him I had just moved so no, my ID was from another state. He told me the day pass is only for people with town ID and that they dont do walk-ins. He said I could train for a $10 fee so I handed him cash, and he gave me a towel and told me I have to wipe down any machines I use. Ok.The gym was practically empty and they had tvs all over the gym playing a pirated copy of Skyfall. I wondered if that was something they wanted to do so publicly.The gym itself is fine, it has everything you need and is in OK shape hygiene-wise. However, I was so put-off by the cold reception from the guy at the front. I got the feeling that he didnt even want me to be there for some reason.I did my squat workout without issues and left. I only used the squat rack and some dumbbells so cant comment on the condition of too much of the equipment. Again, if I had been greeted warmly or at the very least courteously I may have considered signing up. But after the cold reception I knew there was no way I wanted to come back.
