Smog test went well on my motorhome, after a complete visual inspection.

I take all my cars here for smog certs. In and out fast. Friendly staff. Just had my one ton dump truck smoged here.

Very efficient. I have had good service each time. There is a small inside waiting area but for social distancing use the two outside benches. There is also a nearby deli, Starbucks and a Safeway if you want to run an errand while you are waiting.

The service is good but with covid I had to sit outside in the cold waiting for my vehicle, bring a jacket because nobody wants you inside. They have you sit near a table and wait for the owner to come to you.

Smog Does more than just smogging vehicles. Owen is great. He always keeps me on the road. I had my truck taken to him when my clutch pedal came apart in an intersection. He had it fixed in no time

Rude customer service and prices are way to high

Said it would take 1/2 hr. Then they took an hour for lunch, while I sat in the parking lot. wound up taking 3 hrs, trust? Then they decided they did not want to deal with me. so the guy said it would cost over $100 to diagnose why my vehicle failed. buyer beware.

Had to wait 20 min even though I had an appointment and arrived on time. Beware, there is no posting saying that they charge you full even if you do not pass smog. Policy!!

Did not have the best experience here. The two guys that do the smog checks were not welcoming or friendly, enough to make me strongly consider going somewhere else. Luckily they do have a very kind front desk lady who was quite accommodating.

Had repairs to my F150 done where the truck ran better than ever, had to look at the fan to see if the motor was running.

Very kind service, but they couldn’t complete the smog check due to my check engine light being on. They still charged me $60.

Exceptional customer service and fair prices

I’d worked in the automotive business for 35 years, and there are a few mechanics in our area that are great mechanics but Over my years as a parts manager both in retail & commercial there’s less then a handful that seem to shine above. What I view on top their ability to turn a wrench(because 95% in our area are damn good) but in Smog Check at the end of 41st theirs Owen and his trusty side kick. From the moment you call or walk in there’s a feeling of respect & trust. I live up in Boulder Creek, and for me and all of my vehicles it’s well worth the 45 minute drive just knowing I’ll not be jerked aroundMr B

4 is only because my experience was good, but limited. I was buying a car and needed it smogged. I was in and out in less than an hour. Car passed. Test was reasonable.

Great place and their fast aswell

I am buying a car and was looking to have a few repairs done. I called to ask about prices and the lady was INCREDIBLY rude and told me I could take my business elsewhere if I didnt want to bring in the car first. Sorry, lady but my time is also valuable. It was simply to replace a battery and the front brake pads...obviously they must charge WAAAYYY too high to be afraid to give out prices over the phone. And that ATTITUDE! Never again and my husband and I oversee a fleet of cars at a local company!

DONT GO HERE. IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR DONT GO HERE. This place failed me for an aftermarket part that has been there for 7 years. My emissions were fine but because I had an aftermarket catlitic converter they failed me, no smog = no registration = no car... you dont want a super thorough smog place thats like having even harder security at the airport its just not something you want.

DO NOT GO HERE unless you dont care about wasting money. Im a 22 year old women so mechanics are always trying to pull stuff over on me. Ive been hoping to find a good mechanic but this place is worse than my dealership. I went in for JUST a smog check and they tried to do all this random stuff to my car (like changing my wiper blades) and tried to charge me $160. A smog check should never cost anyone that much or take as long as it did (seriously over an hour for a smog check wtf?). look for some else whos actually respectable.

They, dont do diesel vehicles. Waited 40 minutes for them to tell me they dont. They left my window and door open in the parking lot.

Ive used this service many times over years, with several different cars, and theyve always been prompt, and Ive never had a problem.

Ive been to this place a number of times with a couple different vehicles. Ive always found them to be efficient and never rude. If anything, its some of their customers who Ive seen who have been stressed and borderline rude to them.

This place takes advantage of people who dont understand cars. Ive talked to multiple people who have had cars pass smog for the entire life of the car, but then take the car here to have them tell you it failed the visual inspection. They charge you a ridiculous fee to reattach a hose. They also make mistakes when billing you, luckily I caught the mistake, and they reimbursed me, but it made me wonder how often they overcharge people just to see if the catch the mistake.

Dont go to this place owner is rude and they are not very honest told me my car failed and then i had to pay I just went to the next place and they passed me with no extra services needed.

These people are crooks and prey upon helpless older women. My 68 year old mother took her Honda Civic to get smogged and despite passing every two years, Soquel smog check failed her on a visual inspection, saying she exceeded levels of blue smoke. They neglected to even check the filthy air filter claiming it couldnt affect the test. They then charged her$35 for the smog check and an additional $200 to replace a $5 pcv valve and an $8 stp oil treatment and promptly failed her again. This to a woman on a fixed income, bringing great stress into her life. On the advice of a real mechanic she took it to a reputable smog shop and passed no problem. I asked the owner for some type of refund and she flatly refused. Ive reported them to the bureau of automotive repair and the better business bureau.
