Not that I hate my nails, but they did not come out to what I initially wanted, I am not sure how many times I have to repeat myself to explain what I wanted, or I do not know how more visual I could be to show the nail tech what I wanted. He completely clipped the sides of my fingers and made them bled, the cuticle oil they use burns, and the tools they used were not clean. I specifically wanted them sharp and pointed, I explained and showed pictures many times but he continued to file away, making the tips soft. Not the best place to go to.

I enjoy getting my nails and pedicures done here. Tina does my nails and she does an excellent job. Mr. John does my pedicures and OMG....he is the only person who does my pedicures now

My mother and I really enjoyed our time while getting our nails done. They held conversations and kept us laughing the whole time . Also our nails came out really cute and just how we wanted them. Drew did great 👍🏽.They also have really cute hats, mask and purses. Definitely recommend 💯‼️

They did an absolute amazing job on the remodel and still the same great customer service as I remembered 2 years ago. They did an amazing job on my daughter and husband pedicure. Worth every penny. We will be back soon.

She continued to answer personal calls and stop my nails it took almost two hours to do a cut down and fill with gel polish no design. She was on the phone from what I could make out her son was yelling at her because she was putting the family and others at risk because she wanted someone to stay in the house with covid she assumed I wanted my nails a certain way when I showed her what I wanted she refused to do it so I had to settle. I will never go back very disappointed.

2/7/2021 I will never come here again!!I went in for a Pedicure. The technician was negligent in the way he used the grater while scrubbing my feet. He cut my toe, saw my toe was bleeding and kept scrubbing my foot with it even after I asked him to stop because my toe was bleeding. I had to wave over (the manager?) someone who speaks English to try to explain he cut my toe open and had to direct them to get me medical attention (give me alcohol to clean the wound, grab a bandage and ointment, rinse my foot -had to ask 3 times to get it thoroughly rinsed-) She then directed him to just “do the bottom of my feet” as if we can still continue while my toe is still bleeding. I told them “no I am leaving I can’t finish a pedicure with an injured toe.” I didn’t even get so much as an apology and when I got up to leave the lady had an attitude and said you can go.I have NEVER been cut before. I know accidents can happen but the way this was handled was unacceptable. I also noticed none of the tools used came out of fresh packaging, so I’m not even sure if anything was properly sanitized. Be warned guys!

When I called this morning for an dip powder manicure for 12:30 they could have told me that they only had a certain number of employees that could do those, so I show up on time for my appointment only to sit for about 10 mins before someone whom I thought was doing my nails to have me soak off the old dip and she told me that someone would be with me. I sat there for an HOUR still waiting (by this time, the girl had completely taking off my old dip powder) and finally 2 whole hours after my appointment, my nails were done & someone else eventually did them. I could’ve went somewhere else that could have gotten me in and out for my work lunch break. They need to tell people this before booking.

So, I go to this place because my usual shop was closed for a week. I literally went 6 days ago. The fill was $45 instead of my usual $30. And that’s with gel polish. The nails weren’t polished on the sides. They were extremely sharp that I cut myself and had cut my mom’s arm just by touching her, she’s diabetic. The polish start peeling the same exact day. I go back the next day, someone else fixes the polish and makes the nails “softer” so I won’t harm myself or others. Literally MY NAILS ARE peeling again, and the acrylic is lifting. I’ve gone twice n 6 days. This is disgusting nail service.

Walked in w/o an appointment. Waited 25 mins, before I was told to sit at a desk. Looking around, and the man in front says, shell be right with you, she taking her lunch (this person had just completed a service and walked away). I say, can I just get the pedicure instead? No one to do you pedicure now. So I left. Poor handling of customers. Just say, we have a wait and give me the option to wait if I want to.

My nails were cut and filed too much my fingers are throbbing. I felt that my nail tech didnt understand anything I was trying to say I had to pull up a picture on my phone. Other than that the place was clean and staff were kind.

My experience was horrible. It was expensive and I dont feel comfortable with being talked about in a foreign language. I tried to explain what I wanted done and how I wanted done and had to keep telling the manager of the shop over and over again.

Tina was very friendly fast professional and did a fabulous job with my lashes and eyebrow tinting. Soft relaxing music I will be back

I left a previous review about this place okay. So they do a great job your nails will look nice. My only issue my nails do not last long when I go here they pop off,break in half or crack. I will continue to go to my normal place then here. I just got my nail fix now only couple of days later another popped off and one cracked .. Im good on this place now

My husband and I have been customers for more than 5 years, and we have been satisfied with the service. There are some rough spots at times, but that is to be expected. We love their quality of work.

Had an appointment at 230 for nail, pedi, and eyebrows sat in the chair at 3 pm only thing I was able to get was pedicure was told I had to wait additional x amount of minutes for nails does great work but unorganized

Nice clean busy. Service was good, but the tech was extremely rough. Had to tell her a couple of times that she was hurting me to which she responded, oh, you skin sensitive . No but I dont want yo to remove all the skin off my legs and ankles! Diabetics beware!!! Very expensive. $50 and up for a pedicure.

Rude. I walked in and I was basically yelled at by the skinny one with the long hair who sits in the front, for not having an appointment. First of all how was I supposed to know that its by appointment only now, when thats now how you previously ran this establishment. The nails at this place suck anyways.

The color you see inside is not the same when u come out. The lights inside makes the color look good but after coming out it’s completely dull. And the lady who did manicure to me is very unprofessional and didn’t do it properly.

This was possibly the best pedicure I’ve ever had! The massage was the best and did a great job on my nails! The facility was also super great with their safety precautions for COVID. They sat people every other chair, masks were required, and they had plastic shields between the nail guys and you. They required hand washing before you got seen and had a contactless check in. I highly recommend!

This was my first time getting my nails done since COVID-19 began. They have signs posted for safety procedures, sanitizer at each station, and require masks to be worn. There are plastic partitions surrounding each pedicure station with an empty seat between each. The same goes for the nail stations. There signs do say that they have increased prices in order to maintain a safe environment. I will go again.

Lee did an awesome job restoring what was left of a horrible nail job, that I got somewhere else last week! I came here because I just moved from New York So I was trying out places but this place annoyed me. They price banged me not only that but I literally did it yesterday.. today the Gel polish is lifting. I’m good thanks but no thanks.

Just moved here trying to find a decent place that gives good pampering on feet...thus is 2nd place Ive visited....The service was great...nice establishment ...but i didnt understand how i went from a 30$ pedi to a 60$ with me only getting gel nail....then upon getting home looking at the bottom of my feet..they are rougher then they were before coming in to get pampered..not happy

Extremely overpriced. They have new software system, Ive gone three and collected no pts. Everytime I go, its a different price. At first, it was 15 dollars to remove gel polish. Now its 20 dollars to apply gel polish at all. Their new prices say 50 dollars for traditional-With gel-chipfree. Walked away paying 65 for marine spa and gel polish. I honestly dont know the difference in both treatments. Everytime i ask, the reasons are different for the change in prices. Please go somewhere else, this feels like a complete rip off. They lost a loyal customer.

Luxury Nails is really the best nail salon I’ve been too since living in the Norfolk/VA beach area since 2015. The shop is beautiful, it’s been recently renovated and i can’t even remember what it looked like before. Tina, does incredible nails, so much so you HAVE to make an appointment with her for her nail services. Her lashes?! The best service I’ve received ever, she’s fast, and precise, and the fact that she has you sit up in a chair instead of laying down is great if you’re a “cryer” like me. There is a guy who works there who does AMAZING nails! I don’t know his name but he usually has like a man bun going on. And Lisa’s pedicures are amazing. I’ve tried a lot of different nail shops but this is always my favorite. The only reason i May choose to go elsewhere is because they’re always pretty busy. But i can understand why, the service in impeccable.

Appts r scheduled due to covid however they arent honored. When they schedule appt w/for a certain person, they shud b aware how long its going to take each appt. I had a 115 appt & im still waiting @145. All they can say is 5 min. After sitting n pedicure chair & water turning cold, I walk up to owner & ler her know the meaning of an appt & how unprofessional it is to b 45 min late. I wud rather u b honest about the appt running late & let me make decision to wait. But dont plan my day by not honoring your appt. But I guess they feel they can do that because ppl will wait. This is what i get for not supporting black owned nail shop. I will b doing my own pedicure until I find one. Luxury Nails on wellington & diamond springs will not get anymore of my business!!

Prices are extremely high, gel polish is $20 extra and they display this book for pedicures that only show $40 and up and the price start at $30 and they don’t tell you . I paid $60 for a regular pedi and gel polish, $70 for a short pink and white set ... never again they raising the prices to make up for thier bussiness being closed due to COVID 19

My family and friends have been going there for years, they care about creating long-lasting relationships with their clients and there arent as many nail shops where everyone pays attention to detail and give great customer service at a reasonable price. I got my first pedicure there a few weeks ago and it was the best Ive ever had (I think it was Kims sister who did it), Im going back there today to get another one!

I have had my nails done by Miss Lee, Tina, Lee Lee, Tony, Mrs. Kim.. literally almost the whole staff LOL! I will never switch shops, Luxury Nails is home. They use very harsh chemicals. Few days after your manicure, your nails get rough and brittle. Nothing lasts long for a week at least. Very worst service and products.

This place deserves a zero rating. They are rude and uncaring. Their tone of voice is unacceptable. Tina does nice nails, but she can be arrogant and rude also. Kim and her sister are the worst. Their prices are too high and they are not courteous to customers after they have waited for service. NEGATIVE ZERO RATING..... The establishment should also be more appealing considering their high prices. They need a reality check. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

I would not suggest letting Lisa the older lady do your nails, she may be able to do a simple french or a pedicure but she is not qualified to do nail designs or gel mirror powder. It looked horrible and despite her many attempts to correct it she ultimately made it look worse. It did not cover the sides and was bumpy on each nail. To top it off she over charged me for the sloppy service and never said more than two words to me the entire time I was there which was for 2 + hours. If you ever get your nails done there dont ask for Lisa to do any designs or new nail techniques because she does not know what she is doing. Never again

For the people complaining of long waits, it’s because this place is one of the best I’ve been to! A couple of the techs take appts during the week as well so sometimes walk in must wait but usually when waiting for someone specific. Not so much when u accept to be taken by who ever is available. Been coming here for years since before the remodel. Better prices than other places who can’t do, especially what the owner Tina does! Other places may be cheaper but quality isn’t as good. Idk I like my nails a certain way and I don’t settle for something just bc it’s “cheaper”. The prices are good in my opinion.Also I only let Lisa do my pedicure. They’re all good but I just love her! She’s the cutest and so sweet! I’d let any of them do my nails tho. I just specifically book Tina bc she does the crazy designs and bling my New Yorker self likes lol!

I will never go to this shop again they charged me $32 just for a fill in are u serious!!!!! All I have is Polish so they said they are charging me for the length my nails arent even long. I let them know they need a sign that says we charge by length Ill stick with happy nails instead

The only reason why I give this post 2 stars is because Tina does a good job doing nails, but her attitude sometimes can be a bit much. Shes not as nice as people say and she gets irritated when you ask her to do anything extra. I believe if youre paying your money, you should get the service you deserve. She usually has an attitude and if she messes up on your nails, she will not apologize, she will just brag on how long shes been doing nails. She needs some humble pie. When you give service, you need to make people feel welcomed and comfortable about asking for services, not make them feel like theyre bothering you. No thanks.

Nails are horrible and priced up, put to much nail polish makes them look. Cakey on top of it they don’t last longer then a week, went their first time perfect second time charges more for small nails while I payed the same priced for medium length . They are very rude when u ask them for a price the admidietly change and speak their language making u feel uncomfortable .
