Only!!! I will not use the one on Inner Perimeter.Warning this place is almost always busy, which speaks for itself, but Chris and his staff does a great job at getting everyone cared for.The place is very clean and from what I have seen sanitary!Michelle is the best at caring for all customers and making sure everyone is comfortable and has something to drink.I have gotten Manicures with dip polish, and Pedicures with either gel or regular polish.They do really detailed work on Pedicures and making sure your feet feel smooth and soft. Most of the staff communicates pretty good, and Michelle is readily available to assist if they dont.If you arent happy Chris will go above and beyond to make sure you leave satisfied with your work.

So, this place is 50/50. You sometimes get amazing nails and then other times you don’t. In this case they were 90% good, but some of the nails were extremely uneven. The store that day was VERY busy though so I understand the pressure and rush to try and serve everyone. The people here are always nice and kind all the time though and always do their best to make you comfortable.

I have given Nails By Chris chance after chance. Each time, I hope I will get the amazing experience and quality nails everyone talks about. Each time, my nails usually only last a week. Pedicures are never done well. Literally had the nail artist tell me they couldn’t do a simple design and so I had to settle with something else. When I asked about it to the receptionist, she said, “Oh, yeah we could’ve definitely did that. He probably didn’t wanna do it is what happened.” WHAT?? Then, they tell me they’ll just do it next time for me…? If you clearly can tell I wasn’t happy, why not offer to correct it then and there? I get my nails done every 2 weeks and I come here every other time. I will not be returning after this last visit.

I love my nails! Anytime Ride does my nails they are hot. Thank you Rose. I appreciate the rest of the staff as well as the hospitality is excellent!

I went on my birthday for a pedicure manicure, and both were done in 45 minutes. My cuticles were not cut or trimmed on my feet or fingers, and the nails were filed crooked, polish was done over top of file and buff debris. I am very disappointed since i only come 2 or 3 times a year. I guess it depends who you get. Owner was not available at the time.

Chris and the rest of the team is awesome! They are really great doing your nails and also your brows. Friendly staff, a very comfortable ambiance higy recommended!

Honestly this is probably one of THE WORST salons I have ever been to. I only came here because people kept saying it was great and google reviews were good. Yeah..NO. I came in and they were busy which most nail salons are whatever, but then NOBODY has mask on not even the employees, no one is washing their hands, no one is sanitizing wiping down or cleaning anything at all. After waiting to be helped I was finally sat down and the lady whom spoke no English motioned to me that she wanted to finish eating her food and that she would only take 5 minutes. I wasn’t sure exactly what she wanted during the conversation so I nodded. She then proceeded to get up and walk away and didn’t come back for about 10 minutes with a salon PACKED full of people. I understand that she needed a break to eat but there is a time to do that and now was not that time. Customers were constantly coming through that door and nobody in the building knew who was next. The CUSTOMERS had to figure out who was next, what was getting done, who sat where this is a total sh&t show and I will not be returning and I’ll be sure that people know. Oh and also my nails are uneven, super thick and she didn’t even put a top coat on my left hand. If you want good service by nails by Chris go to the one on inner perimeter.

I had Nail Tech Spike and initially, he started off polite however he started to get annoyed because I asked him what was the liquid that he was applying to my nails before the acrylic. Then, he asked if I would like anything to drink, I said water and thanked him. It didnt come until my nails were dang near done. On top of that $30 for acrylic full set and REGULAR polish is a bit much. Especially considering my nails are uneven, he hit my cuticle with the e-file a couple of times, and the polish is uneven. You can see through them and Im not talking about at the tip of my nails. He also said short is the length I had to have for the $30... which is fine but these are EXTREMELY short. My natural nails were longer than this and he cut them down! Oh and when I asked about an almond shape nail, he said that would be an additional $5. Did I mention that Im the only one in the salon at the time who was told to pay BEFORE my nails were finished? Yeah no, Ill never go back. There may be some awesome techs there but that wasnt my experience.They did have beautiful decor but thats not why people go to get their nails done.

Only reason I gave three stars is because I have had at least one good visit here and I love Chris’s friendliness and attentiveness to customers. However, his workers do not provide quality work. I believe I should receive quality work everytime I visit a salon. The workers rush and do not take their time on their customer. This time I got the regular pedicure instead of a more expensive one like normally. It was what I could afford and I feel that regardless of what service I get, I should receive quality treatment. They try to convince you to get more expensive pedicures and when you don’t they don’t really care about your service. I got SNS on my nails and they are not neat either. I also do not like getting gel on top of SNS. If I wanted gel, I would have asked for gel. I have seen neat work and this is not it. I can do this at home. I go to “professionals” Bc I want professional work. I don’t mind paying and tipping for good quality work Bc I believe it deserves it. I paid $75 for my visit today but I don’t believe it was worth it. I’m not the one to complain and I hate having to constantly tell someone how to do their job so I paid and left but I extremely dissatisfied. I have pictures and will be attaching them if possible.I didn’t get an actual manicure but I don’t think I should have left the salon with visible hang nails and dip powder on my fingers.

I love this place. Professional and super nice staff. The salon is fabulous.

Love nails by Chris on Gornto, and love Rose and Michelle! Both real professionals. Rose is gifted in the art of artificial nails; quick, strong, and beautiful! Michelle makes me feel welcome, and remembered! The staff is kind and courteous--even on a busy day. Great work, great place. You should go!

Great manicure and pedicure services from Van and David. Very clean and welcoming.

I went in with my mom on Saturday. I understand Saturdays are a very busy time to get a pedicure, but after waiting 45 minutes I was sat in a chair and my mom was told she would be sat acrossed from me. My pedicure took all of 5 minutes. By the time I was done my mom still hadnt been sat. I felt extremely rushed, like they were just trying to get me out of the chair and on top of that the polish started chipping less than week later. I will not be going back. Save yourself a disappointment and go anywhere else.

I have been going here for a few years and it started out really great. But the last couple of visits it was rushed and felt like they were not paying attention to their customers. The last visit was the worst, last month. I got a full set, acrylic, in less than 10 days i had in one day one nail-nail and acrylic pop off, and one break. I went to tell them this was unacceptable and they did nothing, i ended up paying $35.00 to get them fixed after paying $60.00 for the set to begin with. And the acrylic was lumpy and thick in places and thin in places, and they were done by Chriss woman that runs it when he is not there (his 2nd in charge). I am currently looking for a new nail salon. My daughter had hers done the same day, and in less than 2 weeks they are lifting. Chris needs to get on top of his salon, it is going down hill. They treat customers like oh let me over charge you, not listen to what you want, and rush to get you in and out to make more money.

I would recommend as long as Tram isn’t working. Today, I was at the end of a fantastic pedicure by Heather, when a very rude Tram forced Heather to get up and then did a shoddy job painting my nails because she wanted my chair for another customer. She is unprofessional, rude, rushed, didn’t even bother to speak to me, and is a terrible representative of the company. My polish was rushed and I’m unhappy with how my nails turned out. It’s unfortunate that a quality job was messed up by Tram.

My nails always look amazing. Theyre so helpful. My nail broke off a few days later, which was my fault, and they fixed it quickly and didnt charge me. Ive been going here for a year for manis/pedis and have never had an issue. Commplementary drinks, rom coms always playing. Theyre clean and always adding to the atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend.

Found this place on a whim and was very impressed! Got a full set of ombré acrylics for $55, they were packed but I was offered water while I waited and only waited maybe 5 minutes before being seated. Nails turned out exactly how I wanted and Duy was great!

I went to Nails by Chris for the first time today. My wife and I are absolutely astounded by the quality of service we received. Hanna was amazing with my pedicure and manicure. Came out of here feeling more relaxed than I have in a long time. Thank you Hanna.

This is by far the worst nail salon ever. The nail tech rushed on my nails and wasn’t very polite. I got my nails done on a Friday an by Monday 3 nails had done cracked and broken.

Chris is not there today and the service is subpar like a MF! Sadly my last visit because he has the appropriate customer service personality. Kevin tries 😇 but if they can’t get you to buy a gel service their customer service gets unacceptable in my opinion. Other members of the staff (CC & Johnny) sloppy and unfriendly. I just came in for a short full set and a nail polish change not the feeling that I should get less customer service because I wanted regular polish versus gel. Not to mention my girl and I just dropped $200 in there less than a month ago.

I came in after a botched full set at a local competitor. Based on the rating and reviews I was skeptical. I am SO glad I gave them a shot.Sunny & Michelle are an asset to this establishment. I have NEVER had a fill in take under 30 minutes. They were personable. They were professional. My nails are perfect. I am so excited to find a new salon in town. I haven’t given out a sizable tip in a while but they EARNED it.Great service. Speedy. Great location (and they’re remodeling soon). Great color selection. Employees were playful with each other but not in a bad way. Again, just a fantastic experience! Night and day from my other experiences in the area.Plus they were serving complimentary mimosas. I had a lovely, ice cold cup of water. But still....... A+ ^_^

Best Pedicure Ever! Excellent Service and Great Atmosphere!

At first it was great.. then my nail broke after only 2 hours of getting them done. I go in & they want to charge me for a new nail when their policy says they’ll fix it for free. Very disappointed cause they mistreated me instead of doing what’s right.

This was the best most relaxing pedicure I’ve had in a long time. I’m from SC visiting aunt for her surgery. We dropped her off and this is where we ended up and I’m so happy we did!!! Best!! Professional!!! Relaxing!!! Gentle!!!

I normally have such a good thing to say about them but this time I got put with a new girl that didn’t know what she was doing. She was very sweet but my SNS started coming off the next day ☹️ I can’t make that 45 minute drive just any day to get them fixed because I have work so I have to wait until my day off. My nails are chipping and the SNS is coming off. I’m upset because my nails were long and pretty... my nails look horrible.

What a great time! Chris knows the meaning of customer service and how to run a business unlike most other nail salons. Really pleased with the service and my visit. Would be back if I lived in the area!

Let me begin by saying that the quality is great and customer service could be better. All of the staff are very nice but its the comments to other staff that are disturbing. Im referring to the one on Inner Perimeter. When you are getting your nails done and the tech is complaining about doing your nails when she had an appointment coming in and practically belittling the receptionist, it doesnt make you feel very welcome. I really feel sorry for the receptionist at this location. She does an excellent job but is being micromanaged. Also, instead of just giving a wait time, they always go into detail about how busy they are, which makes me feel unwelcome. The receptionist is really good but the other lady working there makes her tell people how busy they are and wont stop telling the receptionist how to do her job. When I walk in the door, I dont expect anyone to help me right away. I can see that its busy. No one minds waiting. Telling me that always makes me feel like they want me to leave or dont need my business. So really, the customer service could be extraordinary if it wasnt for the micromanaging of the receptionist which makes me uncomfortable every time I go in there. We all understand that if shes doing something in the back, she wont be up front right away, etc.

Came in they were packed! But I got my eyebrows done and 2 full set done in 2 hours!(with my cousin) and they kept it personal and super sweet. The price is perfect, a little expense but makes perfect sense with what you’re getting. The atmosphere is great and it’s decorated amazingly. He even kept double checking with the size and color. I will forever be coming back!

This location completed renovations today and I am blown away. Nails by Chris on Gornto has always had a family like atmosphere where you are treated like a VIP but the new renovations make this top notch. I highly recommend this salon. It is boutique chic at a fraction of the cost.

Called to make an appointment early in the day for 5pm,got there 5 min late .Was totally ignored for 15 minutes, very disappointed. There were many people being helped,but noone else waiting.I finally left, bad vibes

Ms Annie did mine and my nieces nails at the location on inner perimeter. She was very time efficient and held a great conversation. Normally I feel very weird because your nail tech doesnt spark up a conversation with you amd its quiet the entire time. My nails turned out beautiful along with my nieces!!! She listened to what I wanted my nieces to have and also what she wanted with her being 15 and did a perfect job!!! i will never ever use another nail salon again!!! Thank yall so much

Everyone was absolutely great! I was running late due to a Christmas parade blocking all the streets and they still took care of me. Rose did an amazing job on my nails! Just the way I like them done! Im definitely choosing this place whenever I need my nails or feet done. Thank you!

I would not recommend. I just had the most disgraceful experience. I usually come in to get a pedicure. I came in today for my eyebrows(because Kim is really good). When I came in I told Michelle that I would like my eyebrows done, she nodded and went to the back(they were busy so I did not mind waiting) . 5 mins after, a white young lady comes in (without an appointment)and says “hey do you all have time for eyebrows “ and without hesitation, Michelle tells her to go sit at the chair station and she begins her service. I’ve never had an experience as disgraceful as today. I encourage and challenge peopleto not spend your money here. That experience really is unforgettable and unbelievable. I felt discriminated and that experience was uncivil.

Just really upset me how mean worker was nit sure if they are aware like Chris told me to come in to get my nails fixed and he wasn’t there when I went and the workers told me can you pay I said no and my nails get fixed but not the right way they look Somewhat good after I dealt with a big mess Of attitude and rudeness but the guy who did fix it “tried” The lady at the front that gives out drinks were so nice and try to resolve my issue and made sure I was good before I left

Very busy, so its kind of noisy, and with masks on, the workers are difficult for me to hear and understand. I dont have any complaints about my pedicure, but it wasnt anything special either. I will return.

My overall experience was disappointing:( my son got me a gift certificate for Christmas. My pedicure was nice. Wanted a manicure because I paint houses. Chris sister suggested I get a full set of nails so my nails would be straight. Lol my nails looked like they needed to be filled the day I got them done. They werent straight, I went back the next day. Told me to come in Monday. She took my polish off and re painted my nails . I smiled and said Thank you. But when I leave the nail salon and look like I need a fill in and my nails are uneven. Was very disappointed with the quality The atmosphere is wonderful very relaxing. But quality lacked and to me thats the most important !!!

Im always satisfied anytime I go to get pampered. Their service is spectacular. Very attentive and professional. I can truly say that Chris and his staff ensures that you receive great service.

The remodel is BEAUTIFUL! I was stunned when I walked in!! I had an excellent pedicure by Lynn. She is very accommodating and friendly. However, she has shaky hands so her polish skills are not the best. Rose did my nails. I had a manicure and dip. Rose does great work, however she talked and texted on the phone throughout my entire service. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and Ill definitely be back.

Im leaving 1 star because thats as low as I can get. The customer service was horrible! Ive always brought my own products to various nail salons and have never been charged for it only here. And when I told the tech my polish wasnt covering my whole nail she told me it was supposed to be like that and started speaking in her native tongue. When I asked about the management my tech knew nothing or acted as if she couldnt understand English even though we were having a conversation prior to her telling me it would be a charge for using my personal polish. I wouldnt return.

The atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming. The staff is also very attentive and friendly. Although the service takes a while, depending on the type of service and how busy it is, they do a wonderful job everytime.

Absolutely love everything about their place. Atmosphere is great. You’re treated great, and even when their busy they do their best do squeeze you in! Not to mention the end result for your nails are great.

I had my nail done yesterday by Tracy, she did a good job but was too rough. She cut my fingers twice and my fingers were so sore this morning..She needs to cut down on her filling so hard..Chris and the rest of his staff are really nice but I will not be letting Tracy do my nails again....

Ive lived in Valdosta for about 6 months and this was the first nail salon I went to in the area. The atmosphere is wonderful and I always am treated very well here. They do a fantastic job with the S&S manicure. The pedicures however are kind of a hit or a miss depending on who you get and how busy they are. If you can go on a weekday or in the morning on a Saturday you will avoid the large crowds. I recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service at an affordable price.

I went there today for a much needed full set. I was treated like a princess the whole time, offered pillows, drinks, the whole thing. They were super personal and my nails look amazing! Wish I could give more stars!

Love this salon. I have been to other technicians here but no one compares to Chris. He always leaves me with beautiful nails and he genuinely cares! Not to mention, its a beautiful salon!

Gel Nail polish last up to 21 days!More like last up to 2 days. Go and get your nails fixed and then the polish completely falls off 6 days later!I literally had to go back and get them to fix 8 put of 10 nails. 6 days later, 1 completely falls off and 1 starts peeling so bad that I had to pull it off.

Will never go back. Went to get eyebrows done and the lady was so rough and she waxed off over half of one of my eyebrows. Never once did she apologize and I still was made to pay for it. Really I paid to have my eyebrows half waxed off. Terrible place would never recommend anyone to go there!!!!

Yesterday was my second time coming here & I was very disappointed.. I had been reading the reviews so I could know who not to get but I ended up getting Rose who couldn’t stay off her phone & who cut my finger then continued to tell me that it was my fault. My nails don’t look that bad but they’re starting to turn a blackish color when I asked for light blue. I wouldn’t say that I won’t go back because my first visit was amazing but I’ll definitely go to another nail tech.

I received a mani and pedi today and had an awful experience. I paid for the lowest pedicure package with regular polish. I ended up with polish all over my skin that was not cleaned up. While getting my manicure the woman was yelling at the receptionist the entire time. She was rushing to the point that I have parts of my nails without gel polish, and again, I have polish all over my skin. Not to mention the gel polish is incredibly thick like I had acrylics put on. I will not be returning.

This is where I love to get my nails done. I love the staff they do a fantastic job and the wait time is never long. The one on Perimeter is the one I use the most and it is always clean and decorated beautifully. This is my favorite nail salon.

I brought my daughter in law here and was skeptical due to the reviews, my advice to any one is dont pay attention to any negative! Chris was wonderful and his staff did a great job on our hands and feet! ♡ I would recommend this place a 10 if I could!

Best ever! They put pride in their work and it shows.

I don’t get pedicures on a regular basis, when I do it is a treat and I have always trusted Nails by Chris to give me the the relaxation experience that I need and saved for. I have always loved them but, the last few times I have been so disappointed. The final straw was on Friday, Feb 16. The two girls that took care of my friend and I talked to each other the entire time and one even took a call on her cell phone. Not an ounce of lotion was put on our feet. I will not be going back.

Would have loved to give this place 5 stars but my husband and i had a bad pedicure experience. Considering the amount we paid for service and the wait time you’d think the end result would have been better. My husband was cut multiple times on his cuticles that weren’t even tended to and toe nails were cut unevenly. My cuticles were not trimmed at all and my polish job was horrible despite showing a photo of what i wanted and him telling me it could be done. Henry however did and Amazing job on my SNS.

I had a wonderful experience there have been there numerous times.they have recently remodeled it is fresh it is clean it is very nice I recommend this to anyone

When you walk out crying it’s never a good experience. Never let Chris passive aggressively “fix” your polish, leaving marks from the previous gel and making you feel like a hassle as he violently works on your toes while yelling into the phone.Sunny and Michelle are worth a visit, but I feel totally put out and screwed over right now. Sunny had a customer waiting and this is the first time I’ve felt he did a rushed or sub par job. He’s usually A+. My toes are sore, pink with dark rims in spots and I still paid $45 plus tip because they “fixed it.” I’m happy to put out good money for a quality manicure. Sunny never should’ve left his brothers place.

I recently visited the location on inner perimeter Road. It was fantastic! I have been going to another nail salon over the past few years but notice that their quality had decreased. I gave nails by Chris another try and I am very happy. The technician spent a lot of time with me and I felt very pampered. I left feeling like I definitely got my monies worth. The staff was very nice and made us feel welcome. We were offered drinks and they made sure we were comfortable and enjoying outselves. I will definitely be back!

Visited the location by publix yesterday. Requested ombre coffin nails. My nail technician Rose or Rosie was very sweet. Once she finished the owner Chris looked at my nails and fixed them to his liking. He was very polite. I enjoyed the environment.

I’m being completely honest with you guys. This place is a hit or miss and please go when they are not busy....because they will rush you. I went one day to get a fill in over nails I had done previously in my hometown I came in and he was working and got up in the middle, nor saying anything and Chris had to finish my nails. Then once the we’re done they didn’t define my coffin shape and I looked like I had nubs on my finger. Then the next day I scratched my ear and my nail broke, a week later I’ve scratched my head and another one broke. Not to mention it took them one hour to fix my nail that I broke.I like the place, just wish they care more about their customers to not rush

My daughter and granddaughter took me there and had my nails done, I was a walk in, I got acrylic nails, Jack did my nails, I explained, I wanted active length, he asked me, you work hard ? I said yes,he said okay. It has been a month I have lost only 2. Nails by Chris and Jack are the best.

I LOVE to go here! It is well worth the trip. The atmosphere and the employees are wonderful!

- [ ] I got my nails done a little less than a week by sinh, who was extremely nice and did a great job. However, the nail color that I chose apparently didn’t want to stay on that long, so I called before I came to see if they could fit me in for a correction. They were on the phone said that they were not busy, and now would be a good time since I was already in the area. I got Amy, and he was very nice about helping me, and said that I could not pick a different color which was fine with me, because it was a color that I had wanted in the first place. Instead of soaking off the gel nail that was still left on my fingers, she decided to cut around it and did my nails in some kind of powder. She didn’t think that I would notice that it was a new color, it literally looks like blue glitter cocaine. She had gotten up 12 times since I had sat down, and even went so far as to pick up a phone call from another store, and disrespected the employee Ashley, by saying that Chris would kill her. If she were to come work at that store because she was so slow-Word for Word. Instead of telling me that they did not have the time to do my nails, they rushed through it, and did an awful job on them. I have already talk to the owner has apologize profusely, and will redo my nails for a second time sometime this week. I had come to the perimeter store for the convenience, but will probably not be returning ever again nor will I recommend it to anybody else.
