I like how welcoming they are. Its my very first time ever getting my nails done, so bare that in mind. They have a massaging chair while you get your pedicure, and for the manicure I asked for a simple flower on top and the young lady said shes willing to try :) showing a picture of my nails. Total of $95. Not sure if thats expensive or not. Hope thats helpful info :)
Very friendly and I got to sit and wait on pedicure chair until tech was available. They did a great job. $45 for gel pedicure isnt bad at all. 😊
Mary has done an amazing job with my pedicures and fills couldnt get better service. Thank you Mary Youre the best
I was not too sure about coming here negative Yelp & Google reviews were poor but I took a chance to judge for myself.Made a visit on Friday evening for a pedicure. The establishment was clean & there was parking right in front. It was not busy and staff greeted me as well as immediately accommodated my request. There appear to be enough nail stations and Pedicure Chairs to accommodate about 10 people each. Their cleaning products were stored in the back separated from everything else. The aroma of Vietnamese food met your nose the moment you walked in, the break room must have been tucked away in the back as you did not hear or see anyone eating as you often do in most nail salons. It was nicely tiled and the cabinets were beautiful oak wood. Next to my chair there was an oak cabinet with a variety of scrubs.I hadnt had a pedicure since October 24th and my heels were bad...cracked & painful. The lady that took care of me had some difficulty understanding me as her English was very limited but after pointing to my heels she got the point. The pedicure was pretty basic: hot soak, callous & dry skin removal, cuticle and toe nail clean up, massage with oil & lotion and polish. I did note they had an array of scrubs in a shelf but didnt know how to get those. I think a menu of services or pedicure options available would definitely be helpful. People love options! Because I did not know how to get the scrubs I docked one star.I also have to give a special shout out to the customer service. Upon my arrival there was a lady sitting in the pedicure chair next to mine. Preparing my review, I noted that she had some physical disabilities the lady that took care of her was amazing. They obviously had built a rapport as the lady working on her asked about her family, her niece, her kids, and most importantly her health. It was a true genuine conversation that I was glad to have the opportunity to eavesdrop lol. The entire staff, went above and beyond their required or expected customer service duties by assisting this individual out of the chair comma into an upright position so that she could walk with her walker out of the establishment. For that, they are earned that one star back.
The ladies always do an amazing pedicure for my wife and I.
This place made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Im not normally comfortable treating myself to these kind of places because I often feel out of place but not here. My feet and hands feel wonderful, and the color choices are very pretty!
Paid more here then on the northwest side!! Came home to reshape a couple of nails..
Very good work. Nice n courteous people. Good service.
Service could be better. You get what you pay for 😔.
Great atmosphere, competitive pricing, family has been coming here since they opened over 20 years ago - this was my first time and I am very impressed 👏
Tried to rip the acrylic I had on right off my fingers and ended up ripping my real nail off ZERO STARS they do not care if they hurt you or mess up your nails
Very gentle and good when working on feet.
Very good salon! At Nice Nails, I felt at home during my first manicure. They are very patient and understanding. As for my women out there, you are well dressed if you come here. This is the perfect place to get relaxed and be pampered. My nails look great and I feel great!
Tracy is great and the nail salon takes COVID precautions
I was pleasantly surprised when I called and they said they could get me in with Kim (who Id been referred to) right now! It was the lunch hour. When I walked in I was quickly greeted by several employees- all friendly, pleasant with smiles! I have a Service Dog that accompanies me - despite the fact the he is hypo-allergenic, well behaved and Federal ADA Law allows me to bring him into almost any establishment - other nail places have frowned upon him, or had an obvious disapproving look when they see him. They welcomed him with open arms. The atmosphere was nice - no blaring TVs - some relaxing background music. The decor was nice and very clean. Kim did a wonderful job on my feet! They were in an unusually bad condition; neglected because Ive been moving. She took her time and got them totally smooth. She focused all her attention on me, and was nice to visit with. I was a bit indicisive on which shade of red. She tried each shade on my toes and even suggested 2 more! Glad she did, I picked one of those. My toes look beautiful! And Im SUPER PICKY...I have OCD. All the clients in there were happy, friendly - and seemed to be very happy with their nail tech and the service they were receiving. Im definitely looking forward to my next visit with Kim.
One of the best
Great job on the pedicure, but not a huge selection of nail colors, massage chairs are sub-par/not super comfy, didn’t have anywhere to dry toenails (like the black light) and massage time was not comparable to other places I’ve been. (Very short) otherwise, the staff are friendly and do a decent job.
Awesome service. Lovely people and they do a very high quality job.
Always a great visit. Did the bomb treatment. Amazing
THE BEST nail salon I have ever been to. Employees are extremely polite, they try anything to satisfy the customer. They all have a connection with their customers... and theyre not super chatty with each other like other nail salons.
Nice Nails was clean and the staff was friendly. I love my acrylic refill and pedicure. I would recommend.
A year ago my mom took my disabled dad to get his nails trimmed and they refused him service because he wasnt able to get out of his wheelchair. All he needed was trimmed nails nothing else. Refusing service to a disability man is sick and rude. Oh and he wasnt just disabled hes a military veteran who has ALS they should treat not only veterans better but also other disabled people. If this is how they treat disabled people I cant imagine how they treat anyone else. Heres the more interesting part. People with any disability or disease like ALS can DIE from infections or being sick. When they were finally giving his hands a good clean they cut his finger the skin! He got an infection in his thumb! He couldve died! Im just happy he didnt.
I have been to quite a few nail salons in the Tucson area. Nice Nails is such a great place to get pampered. The people who work there are extremely patient, even with some of the demanding customers and really care about the customers satisfaction. I was warmly welcomed by a friendly woman. She helped me pick my colors and then began my pedicure. I felt very comfortable and not rushed at all! The nail technicians pay attention to detail throughout the services. I am glad I came here and look forward to coming back 😊
WORST EXPERIENCE! I went in just to take my acrylic set off so he went and cut the acrylic tips off but all cut at different lengths, some of my actual nails were cut extremely short. Then he tried taking the acrylic set right off my nail but they weren’t coming off so he kept trying and trying and it hurt so bad. So I told him to stop and just soak them. He said “it just hurts because you can’t take the pain”. Then an hour later after he just let me sit there soaking them (not checking them) he went and drilled the rest off. Then the nails that were long (my actual nail) he got a file and started bending all my nails since they were weak instead of cutting them with a nail clipper first.
Nice Nails is great just a bit pricey. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is calm. Wish the male owner/receptionist would speak more audibly.
I 💘 LOVE JENNIFER
Bad!!!!!!! Didn’t even ask how long or how short didn’t ask what shape. The nails weren’t even. Do not recommend
Excellent costumer service, the employees were very nice and I was happy that I didnt wait a long time for them to do my nails. I am really disappointed that my nails only lasted a week, they just started popping off. Im really sad because I really thought I found a new place to come and do my nails, but obviously I wont go here anymore.
Id give zero if I could. I just left and my nails look worse than when I arrived. You can see the fill line and my tips are super sharp, not in the good way. Im sitting in the car crying. Plus my fingers are bleeding. Id like to add photos but cant figure out how.
Always friendly and great results
Great customer service... plenty of long standing customers and they were so personable! My nails look great!
The crew here is so very nice!! I enjoy stopping by as a guy and getting my toes cut.
Overpriced compared to any other nail spa within 45 minutes, long wait times for appointments/walk-ins, charged extra fees at end of service without disclosing price up front. Dirty, won’t be going back.
I hate to say it but one star is too many stars. My niece who is from out of town and my daughter who was graduating high school went to have a girls mani/pedi treat. They were greeted like any nail salon, sat waited, and then when finally seen, technician was on phone while doing her nails. Her nails looked horrible, they didnt shape them correctly, looked like they were just glued on and honestly my seven year old son could have painted them better. If you are looking to throw money away, then this is your place. If my daughter wasnt graduating several hours later we would have had them fix it, oh thats the kicker she wanted them to fix it before she left, they said you pay for upgrade and we fix. Look find a licensed professional by going to the state board of cosmetology AZ, and hopefully youll find a place that is both professional, cares about sanitation, and is about quality services.
Im not impressed on this place at all. I had a manicure and pedicure done. For the manicure. The man there doesnt shape my fingernails the way I wanted. Also hes always on the phone so he doesnt really pay attention to what hes doing. The woman who did the pedicure obviously wasnt well trained. She didnt do the protocols to make nice looking feet. The nail polish fell off a few days later. Also she left my heel looking dry. I dont recommend anyone to go to this place. There are better ones. Aveda and Gadabout A+.
Great family run place. Good service and spa pedi chairs. I would recommend nice nails. - 3 year customer.
I have gel acrylic nails and let me tell you, they were a mess, however the lady was so sweet and redid my nails and fixed them to my liking. Not to mention, this place has great service, friendly people, a welcoming environment and whatever you want done they will do it just how you asked!
They always do a great job and so nice.
FANTASTIC. The best pedi. 5 star
I went to Nice Nails to have my nails done as birthday self-treat. Ive only ever done them at home for myself. I went around noon on a Monday. There were a couple other people receiving manicures, and another employee was performing odd tasks around the shop. I was greeted and then waited about 15 minutes in the waiting area. A guy came in the back door, and said something to an employee (everyone here speaks Vietnamese so I had no idea what they were saying), but whatever he said made her stop whatever she was doing and come to help me.While I was waiting, the smells were pretty strong, but when I walked over to the booth, the smells were pretty much gone, so they seemed to have some method of air circulation.I attempted to explain to the lady what I wanted done, but there was a massive communications barrier. Unfortunately, she cut my nails too short (and they were cut unevenly too). Then, she made me bleed when cutting my cuticles. I only learned later that I should have declined having my cuticles cut due to the possibility of infection. I was also surprised that she did not attempt to clean up my hangnails. Maybe that costs extra?Since I had never done this before, I did not know how to use the gel lamp. She was not able to tell me what to do because she did not know enough English. She had to call over one of her coworkers to tell me how to activate the unit. This obviously wont be a concern for 99% of people, but it was frustrating for a newbie. I was there to relax. She used O.P.I. products. First some alcohol, then chip skip, then a base coat, then a top coat (I did not get color).I noticed that when she was painting my nails, she was having to dip quite often and was using a lot of strokes. When I do this myself, I tend to get air bubbles (usually its because the polish is thick and running out). But, I figured, hey, these are professionals.. so I kept my mouth shut. Well, sure enough after she was done, there were air bubbles on almost every nail. That was disappointing! I brought up the bubbles, but she didnt seem to care (or she had no idea what I was saying). But my nails were super smooth and shiny, so that was great. She asked how I liked my nails. I wanted to say that I wanted her to redo them because of the bubbles everywhere, but I knew I didnt have time for that (this was during a lunch break). She then massaged my hands and forearms with lotion. This was finally nice and relaxing, and probably the best part of the experience, funnily enough. However, I discovered after I left that the lotion had a noticeable smell. Ah well..When it was time to pay, another employee ran my card. She did not ask me credit or debit, and stuck the pad at me and told me enter your pin. I was about to tell her I wanted credit, but I didnt feel like arguing so I just did it.I wasnt going to write a review, but it has been barely more than a week and the polish is already peeling off. I suspect it is because the polish was old and applied incorrectly.. same cause as the air bubbles. So my $30 job lasted a week. I know I should have spoken up more, but still. So now my plan is to buy the LED gel lamp and do it myself. I bet I can do better than this lady, and the equipment will pay for itself after only 4 times!
The male receptionist was very rude. I asked him if I could get certain nails done and he said yes I went to go sit down and then he didnt call me for an hour so after I went to go check in with him he said that I never told him what kind of nails I needed I wasted my whole time and decided to leave after the rude service. if you dont want to provide service at all then let me know when I get there instead of wasting my time.
Worst experience, went last friday to do my nails, and the guy does not even how to do them, he put acrylic on my fingers, some nails are to the side (he did not shape them well), and he over charges for the job. If your planing to get a full set, prepare your self to pay no less $50.00! never going back neither recommending any one here! waste of money and time
Very awesome n clean place to ver your nails n pedis done
Takes waaayyy too long for a pedi. they had me put my feet in water for over 35min, water waz getting cold and i ended up walking out since still no where to be seen.. they also charged me $35 for a simple french mani.. would never ever go there again. guy who did mani was on his phone the whole time
Worst experience! Went in for full set the guy basically forced me to get gel! My nails came off less than a week later!!! He was in a rush, the shape was horrible and it wasnt even the color I wanted. What a waste of $45. Never again!
Excellent service and friendly staff
Super, super nice technicians. They do a wonderful job!
Over priced!!!! $48 for gel pedicure ridiculous 😡
Great nail polish selection, friendly staff, clean everyone does a great job.
Great service and attention to customers! Best nail and wax shop in town!
Always a great experience. 💗💗
When i went there one of the ladies yelled at me to get my attention. Um no you dont yell at your customers. Also my nails came off 3 days later... Waste of money.
Kim, Jennifer, Tracy and the rest are so professional.
Very bad customer service, was asked to leave before my girl was even done getting her nails done. So they could have the seat for more people. I was done for maybe 1 minute.
The man who did my manicure was on the phone the whole time, as he was filing my nails he wasn’t even filing some he was just doing the movement but the nail file wasn’t even touching the actual nail . There’s bubbles in the gel and and nail polish on my skin . I was waiting for the massage that usually comes with a manicure but that never happened . I’m very disappointed, but that’s what I get for walking into a new place i guess .
Its great!
Beautiful nails
