I’ve been to this location twice and have had nothing but a good experience.The environment is very clean and comfortable. Ruth has done my wax both times and has been nothing short of sweet and calming. I’ve been waxed several times in the past year at various places, but she has by far been the least painful experience I’ve had thus far. Highly recommend her and Rio if you’re looking for a good wax!

They refused to even attempt to wax me claiming the hair was too short. She said I needed to come back in two weeks. This was not my first wax and I knew this wasnt true. I decided to make an appointment at Brazilian Wax by Andreia and got waxed the same day with no issues and they were much nicer to me then the ladies at Rio. I had an appointment with Rio when I came in but it seemed they were too busy that day and they did whatever they could to get rid of me.

I came to get a Brazilian wax for the first time ever and was super nervous. It is very quiet, peaceful, and clean in the salon. Grace was my esthetician, and she is phenomenal! I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. Grace made me feel very comfortable and made the experience easy breezy. She made me laugh and kept me distracted while waxing. It didn’t hurt as bad as I expected because Grace did an amazing job. I am very happy with the results, too! 10/10 recommend this place!

I got a full-body wax with Ruth, it was my first time, and she made me feel very comfortable. There were a couple of pieces of hair on my leg after, but they werent noticeable until I took a look closely at home. Overall she was professional and did a great job, and I am super happy with it. I definitely will come again and schedule with Ruth.

I was working close to this location and decided to book last minute. They accepted my reservation and my Wax Tech was named Ruth. She was extremely thorough, gentle and did excellent job. The whole process took about 15 minutes and she was able to remove much of the hair that I usually have problems with as mine grows in different stages. I live about 50 minutes away otherwise I would definitely book with Ruth monthly.

I was highly disappointed by my recent experience at this location. I purchased the womens Brazilian wax through their online website, and was immediately surprised by the fact that the service was supposed to take only twenty minutes total. I only had two assumptions: either the time was a generalization, or this would be an incredibly painful experience. And unfortunately, my second assumption was correct. I arrived at the salon, and was greeted politely at the front desk. The facility was well decorated and had a good vibe, however, I was taken back by the giant, literal crock-pot full of wax that greeted me when I stepped into a room. It seemed highly unprofessional and was definitely quite off-putting compared to any other experience Id had before. My waxing lady was very kind and polite, although we had some communication issues, Im assuming due to a bit of a language barrier, which wasnt a problem. However, I had a serious problem with the actual waxing experience itself. It was beyond painful, and it wasnt even my first time. It felt like she had a vendetta against my body, and thank God my mask hid my facial expressions. She worked far too quickly and aggressively, and didnt press down on the skin often enough (after ripping the wax off) as supposed to. It was very difficult to sit through and I was beyond eager to get out of there as fast as possible. And to make matters worse, I was left with wax still stuck on me when I left my appointment. Also, my skin was irritable and even swelled up with acne for weeks after. Although I have sensitive skin and my own issues, I know for a fact that I cant blame everything on my own conditions, as much as the very poor and unprofessional quality of my entire waxing experience. I will definitely not be returning, it was a total waste of money, and quite frankly, I am now highly nervous to get waxed again, which is a shame considering how great my previous experiences at another location had been. I can truly not express enough how horrible this experience had been for me, and how self-conscious and unhappy it left me afterwards.

The most excruciating Brazilian Ive ever had. I tried a new salon since moving and had high hopes since they had good reviews. I got a womens full body (Brazilian, legs, upper lip) and under arms. The experience was very painful but I could have overlooked that as a fluke if the woman hadnt missed big patches of hair down there, on my legs qnd a patch on one of my underarms despite going over and over the same spots to the point I now have very sore, reddened and sensitive skin even 24+ hours post wax. I ended up declining the upper lip wax as I knew I wouldnt be able to hide the red mustache that would inevitably have occurred. This particular wax was time sensitive and it looks like I should have driven the hour to go to my normal waxing place. I dont like to do bad reviews on people trying to make a living but I also work hard for my money and waxing is not cheap. I hope Im saving someone else from what happened to me :(

She got wax in my hair and then I still had plenty of hairs around my eyebrows that did not get plucked. Luckily they did not charge due to wax in my hair, but was not a quality experience and I still have plucking to do when I get home. Would not recommend.

The staff are friendly and the facility is clean. They do a great job with the many waxing services they provide!

The inside was very clean and the staff were all very nice. Waxing was done and triple-checked to make sure no spots were missed. Paperwork was quick to fill out and payment was easy with a touchscreen terminal. Show up early though because its in a large shopping center and it may be hard to find a parking spot close.

I had an amazing experience here! Everyone was so nice and it was my first time and I would recommend everyone to come here! She explained everything to me and its normal to still have some hair until you come back a few times because hair grows at different lengths! Absolutely amazing. I can’t even explain how amazing they did. I didn’t even feel uncomfortable or embarrassed and I am on the thicker side and I think that is the number one thing when getting a full body wax. So thicker girls don’t be scared you do it girl. I loved it in the Canton location. I came straight out and scheduled for my next appointment I didn’t even second guess about coming back I knew I found the right place!

Bernice is very good at what she does and makes you feel comfortable during your visit. I wish they had some kind of loyalty or rewards program.

I usually LOVE Rio body wax. I normally leave thinking wow, they are really quick, and it didnt hurt as bad as I expected Ive been there probably 6 times before. But this time, the girl who did my wax was not good. I dont want to be rude or hateful by any means .. she might have been new, but she would put the wax on and try to pull it off before it was completely dry.. pulling the hair and irritating my skin. Then she would rip wax off and re apply over and over in the same spot instead if moving from area to area to avoid pain (like before). It was the worst, most painful experience I have ever had at this place.

I love this place! I went for the first time a few days ago. Grace was funny, quick, and professional. Rio is a fantastic place; the prices are the best I have seen and I have been to a lot of different places for waxing. I am definitely changing from my regular salon to here!

The only thing worse than a Brazilian wax is a bad one. When she was done, I looked and could still see hair. I asked her if she could get the rest and she said yes. When she was going back and re-waxing, she found wax that she hadn’t pulled off. I assume she was just going to leave it. After she waxed some more she said she got it all. As I got dressed, I realized she still didn’t, but I was frustrated and ready to leave. The more I looked when I got home the less satisfied I was. Of course, the next day was a holiday. I called back and they would be closed for two more days. I left a message with my phone number and never heard back. I booked this appointment for my vacation. The first time I sat down in a chair by the pool, I embarrassingly realized she has missed more spots around my bikini line. I’m super disappointed. I’ve used this place numerous times and always been satisfied until now.

I love being able to schedule my appointments online or in the salon. This salon is very clean and the staff is helpful and professional. Bernice is my person and she is phenomenal! Waxing hurts. It is not a process for wimps! Bernice is fast, consistent, and ever present. This is my salon and Bernice is my person! So thankful for both. 🥰

Also, everything was nice and clean!The first time I was a little apprehensive about being in such a compromising position but Grace made me feel very comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. I had to switch wax places when I moved and was worried to find a new place. I was a walk in and was placed with Thais. I cannot tell you how awesome she is. This is the best wax I have ever had. She takes care to make sure that everything is removed, she does anything to reduce the discomfort, and she is absolutely the most kind soul. If you need any waxing done, Thais is by far one of the best!!!! (used for Brazilian and underarms)

I absolutely love Daniella especially for a Brazilian wax. She doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable. For my 1st time she was quiet and super diligent. I feel like she respects your boundaries. I think especially for something so intimate I appreciated her quiet and calm demeanor.I also have had my eyebrows and armpits done by Grace and she is super nice as well. Wonderful service from Grace! Definitely make your appointment online, because they are not always honest of the availability over the phone. They try to give business to other people rather than someone you are a regular with, which i personally do not appreciate. Other than that, great service and best place to go!

My very first full body wax session, Grace was the tech. She was great! Of course, we all have sensitive areas so theres pain but it wasnt that bad. They use hard wax which is good. Their prices were affordable so Ill return for sure, now that I know what to expect.

This was my first time here. Just relocated to the area so I was hoping this could be my new spot as it close to home. Went on Valentine’s Day and maybe that was my mistake or it was just a bad day to come. The staff was nice and I didn’t have to wait very long, but this was the most painful wax I have ever experienced in my life. I was told they were out of the wax they normally use and couldn’t reorder as it was out of stock and that they wax they were using on me was supposed to be better. Long story short the wax would never dry down and instead of it being one swift pull, it was 3 or 4 small rips. I Was told I may be a little more sensitive because I am pregnant and my hair is thick. *insert eye roll* I’ve been waxed while pregnant and while it did hurt more, it was not nearly as painful as this. Call me crazy, but I’d like to try one more time before I throw in the towel because everything was fine except the actual wax. Oh yeah and I had my husband check me out after to see if there was any damage and he told me there was lots of hair left :-/. Hope your experience will be better than mine.

Every technician Ive had ahs been incredibly kind and welcoming. Seeing as though you have to get very vulnerable to be waxed in certain areas of your body, they are extremely professional and friendly at the same time! It is a welcoming environment with fantastic services. They remove ingrown hairs too.
