I was a resident at Starrview for 2 years from 2017-2019, along with my girlfriend and our son. Starrview was great for us because our son had just been born and this was our first living space we could actually call our own. The area is great, surrounded by the beautiful wildlife that Arizona offers as well as the Starrpass resort and golf course right in your backyard. The management and service technicians were great at responding to any questions, or any maintenance the apartment might need. The gym as well as the pool are always well maintained and sanitized for use. I Would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for peace and quiet away from the city, but still only minutes away from downtown.
My girlfriend I we’re looking for a new place to call home and stumbled across these beautiful apartments out in Starr pass. I called and spoke to Jessica Godoy who was more than welcoming. She set up a date for us to look at the apartment which was so convenient for my girlfriend and I because we both work and schedules are crazy. I recommend these apartments but I most of all recommend Jessica show you around!! Thanks Jessica
So happy I moved here - clearly it was the best choice in my price range. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the views are spectacular. Staff are helpful, personable, and responsive. Maintenance is outstanding. Only had one very minor issue - everything is in top-notch condition - but they came to address it within one hour of creating a ticket. The grounds are clean and well-maintained and include a lovely pool area, clean/modern gym, tennis courts. Lots of hiking trails nearby, within walking distance of the property. Outstanding experience!
These ladies are the most helpful in finding my family and I the perfect apartment! Maintenance does a fantastic job on keeping this beautiful place clean! Highly recommend this amazing place.
So glad I moved here. Jessica was very nice and professional while showing me around and helping me find what fits me. My apartment is really nice and spacious. It’s so peaceful.
This is, by far the nicest apartment complex Ive ever lived in. Its a bit pricey, as far as that goes, but definitely worth the cost. The management is very friendly. The maintenance crew is super prompt and do quality work. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. The tennis court is well-kept and not very busy. The pool is also very nice, well-kept, and not very busy. The pool and hot tub (obviously) are heated, so we swim all year-round. Plus, we drop in to the office for a free cookie and a pleasant chat with the staff frequently. The Amazon Hub (very cool, if youve never used one) is nice and we never worry about our packages being stolen. Its just a great place to live.
Very lovely property, nice and quiet as well! The office is very friendly, Especially Jessica! She has always been very nice and remembers me by my name! Thank you for everything!
I absolutely LOVE these apartments and they are in a great location. The apartments are loaded with amenities, including a washer/dryer and the rooms are really spacious. A major plus is that the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Jessica helped us and was very knowledgeable, she made the experience exciting for my fiance and me. Overall the place is clean and well kept. The workout room is updated with great equipment and the pool area is very nice, it even has a really nice barbecue area. We definitely chose the right community and a wonderful place to call home!!
Amazing place to live! Loved my two years here! Nice, quiet and cozy place nestled in the hills on star pass. Pool is somewhat closed most of the the time but the fitness center is great! Cables, free weights, and numerous machines (pretty big compared to other apartment properties). Maintenance is great! Office staff are great! Management is great! You will LOVE it here. The only issue I encountered were scorpions during monsoon season. Sticky traps do the trick! But be careful!
Horrible experience. The property manager is very unprofessional. There is no luxury experience to this place. Sadly, to say due to lack of management. At first sight the place seems nice but is very low in quality rules and regulations and having their residents follow through. Residents leave cleaning items out, crazy neighbors who yell. Landscaping/or maintenance blows all the dust and leaves into your patio porch with no respect of the fact you have just cleaned it out.
I live at Starr View at Starr Pass. In the year Ive been here the staff has addressed the few problems thatve come up within days and many times the same day. My AC went out on a Sunday and the maintenance man was here in an hour to replace a part and its worked great since. The grounds are lush and well kept. I feel perfectly safe here, even walking my dog at night. The surrounding area is native desert or very nice homes. I just renewed my lease.
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! this place is mismanaged, they are using the COVID-19 pandemic to keep their amenities shut down indefinitely and are still advertising them on their website. Highly disrespectful and deceptive. To include, this place was built in the 1950s, meaning, thin walls, popcorn ceilings and scorpions, spiders, snakes, etc. YOU CAN DO BETTER. THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.
The views from the back of the complex are million dollar views! We had a great experience living here. Apartments were very clean and anything that needed to be fixed in our apartment was taken care of very promptly. Prices were also very competitive. The front office staff knew us by name and were always available and very helpful. I would recommend these apartments to anyone!
Lived here a little over 13 months. Its in a remote area in the mountains so you sometimes see some wildlife, which is cool. Not really near any shopping or restaurants though, so you end up driving around a lot. Upstairs neighbors always sounded like they were dropping weights on the floor. Really expensive rent for the actual quality of the apartment units. Before move in, I was told I would have the same new-ish looking washer and dryer as the one I was shown in the model unit. Upon move in, I found that I had the new-ish washing machine but a mismatched dryer from probably the year 1990. It left lint on all of my clothes after every cycle, even after I submitted a maintenance request to get the lint cleaned out twice. Leasing office told me they would replace the dryer once they received a new one, then never got back to me. So I forgot about it, but not really. After my lease ended, they wanted to spike my rent up by over $200 per month, so I decided to find a new apartment. The lease does not mention anywhere about cleaning the carpets professionally. I thought that was strange, so before moving out, I asked if cleaning the carpets is required. They verbally told me yes, so I took care of it. They failed to tell me verbally that I also need to hire a company to clean the apartment, so I cleaned it myself TIRELESSLY over the course of 2 days. It was spotless, probably cleaner than it was at move in. A couple weeks after moving out, I received a letter detailing my move out charges. They charged me $75 for housekeeping. I called to ask about it, and they told me I was informed on a paper copy of my Notice to Vacate form that I had received in the mail. I guess Im just upset that they failed to inform me verbally about the housekeeping cleaning during the same conversation that I was asking about the carpets. I mean, why wouldnt they? Whichever cleaning company they hired made an easy $75...
This is a quiet complex with incredible views of the mountains and golf course. Nestled right up against the desert you will see an abundance of wildlife from your porch. While this sometimes includes the scarier bugs, the maintenance staff will do their best to help you. In my situation, improved weather stripping and spraying the day after I lodged a complaint put an end to the creepy crawlies. Lavelle who works in leasing has never failed to take care of all my needs. She really makes it pleasant to live here!
I toured this property and fell in love with the location! Beautiful desert views and the office staff was very inviting and helped answer all our questions and concerns. I have a few more places to look but this is definitely a top contender.
Love this apartment the grounds are amazing. The staff is always friendly and the gym and pool are always pristine. Love living here. Can’t rave enough.
Starview At Star Pass is a beautiful apartment complex located atop a hill with wonderful views of the night sky.
Great experience at Starrpass. Only downside is that Rent unfortunately changes year to year based on availability so you may have an increase, but very reasonably priced overall. Any issue I had was fixed immediately and the amenities are awesome. I would definitely live here again if I didnt relocate across the country.
Over all I would say we have really enjoyed living here. LaVell and the maintenance staff have gone above and beyond in making sure our apartment is in good working order.I highly advise you if you want to use the pool it is closed more than its open. DO NOT MOVE HERE FOR THE POOL. It is constantly needing to be cleaned and they are unwilling to hire a professional company to clean it. They rely on the small pool pump they have to clean it. It takes a week for their small pump to clean it. A professional company could probably clean it much faster. Unfortunately for us, the pool was one of the reasons we chose to live here and when our lease is up probably one of the reasons we will leave .
Have only been here a couple of weeks, just moved from Colorado. Jessica in the office has been very helpful and professional. So far, very happy.
I liked living here the reason I moved was because I bought a house. I did have few issues with several scorpions showing up inside. Also there was a pack of Javelinas that roamed the complex that made me feel unsafe. Overall it was pretty quite and peaceful.
I love this place it is so homely and the staff is so professional, maintenance is so responsive to my every need ... Highly recommend
I lived at Starrview in an apartment on the golf course. The view was amazing. There was wildlife to watch every morning. The service was great. My apartment home was beautiful. If I even need another apartment, this is where Ill go.
Absolutely love living at Starrview, the view is beautiful, it is clean and peaceful. I never have any problems with the neighbors or noise complaints. The office staff is wonderful and couldnt ask for more, they are always willing to help and maintenance comes to fix any small problems I have ever had which was a minimal laundry door knob.
By far the worst experience I have ever had. The tour made the place seem like it was too good to be true-- and it was. Our apartment leaked and ruined our furniture, then the people came in to fix the leak and wound up damaging our furniture even more with their paint when they were repainting the wall. Did they bother to move our 3,000, solid oak furniture set or even cover it with something while they painted? No. There was white paint left all over our brand new items. They did not offer a place to stay while doing repairs, the office staff was in a perpetual state of turn over. Youd be better off pitching a tent downtown with all the hobos than living in this so-called luxury apartment. They even had the audacity to charge us damages for leaving an updated shower head in their mold-infested master bathroom.Seriously, do not rent from these sleazy, slumlords.
The people in the office made moving in so easy and were so kindI could not ask for a better place to live
Nice views from the 2nd floor units...no matter which way youre facing!
Do not move into this complex!First let me start by saying that I spent several years at Starview star pass Apts. There were many maintenance issues but the issue that kept coming up is the apartment flooding due to the washer and dryer. This happened four or five times while I live there.I went on an extended ( 2.5 months) trip to visit family after a death in my family. I came home to find that my entire apartment was flooded. I found out that it wasn’t the washer and dryer that flooded at this time but due to a slow leak in the pipes. The apartment complex then decided that they were going to blame me for the leak. I had a professional plumber come out. We videotaped the scene and he gave his professional opinion that it was not in anyway shape, form or manner my fault. It was a maintenance issue. I informed the apartment complex of this. I gathered my belongings and moved to Texas as planned. The apartment complex still blamed me for the flood.I lost at least $20000 due to damage and destroyed furniture and goods because of the flood and the lack of routine maintenance in the apartment complex and they want to blame me!The management is predatory...
I lived there for 6 months and was moved from an upstairs with scorpions and 8 air conditioners over my master bedroom. A problem they knew about and had other people complain. Also I had Cox Communication out every week due to wiring in building old and reception impossible for a tv . I went from there to a first floor believing there was no smoking to a place where the person above smoked EVERY hour until 3 am and his air vents were connected to mine. Management did nothing,in fact they reported me to my company as going around and asking people if they smoked.I never did such thing. I took garbage bags and sealed the first bathroom and the hall closet with duck tape and it still came into my home. It took a month and weekly calls to come and fix the things listed as needed repaired or fixed when I moved in, like handles for cupboards, doors that I could not open . I had to wash clorox through the washer dryer every other day to keep the smell of sewage away.I had someone steal my front porch plants and management did nothing.I had 6 scorpions in MY MASTER bedroom all within 4 feet of my bed. I had rats and mice on the patio. I had to cut back the shrubs to get into my apartment and to keep from taking over the balcony. My first apartment price was reasonable the second upgrade was 600$ more, smaller and more problems. The one saving factor was LAVELL the assistant manager she listened and tried to resolve problems, but her partner was cold to me and phone calls NEVER were returned. If you do not care about all those things and more, then the scenery around the complex is beautiful but it is too hot to go enjoy it. The other person that commented about their mail and packages was also my same experience.I paid extra to have packages delivered to my door but the office got them and due to them being out showing the property were not available so it was locked and often it took up to a week to get a package I had paid to be overnighted . Sad to leave the dear friends I made in Tucson but would not recommend it due to management and no protection if you are connected to a smoker
I highly recommend Starrview at Starr Pass apartments if you have an unlimited amount of time to waste. They are perfect if you dont mind trying to schedule viewings multiple times. The leasing agents are just so busy that they probably will forget your appointment and will not call you back to reschedule, so you have to be very vigilant to get into this elite community. It would probably be best if you are a local so you can drive out there several times to try to get ahold of them. When I first considered living at Starrview apartments I was really excited. At the time, I was in Las Vegas, NV and wanted to come down to view the apartments first before I signed a lease. So a week in advance before I visited Tucson I made the appointment to view a few different 2 bedroom options. I felt confident at the time that this would be a professional management company. I even received a confirmation email of the date and time of my appointment. So I made the 6 hour trek from Las Vegas down to Tucson, to specifically see these units. I arrived a few minutes early to view the neighborhood and the complex. My appointment was for 1:30pm on a standard Tuesday afternoon. I got up to the door and noticed a paper clock with it signaling that no-one was there and theyd be back later. The doors were locked and I was a little confused that no one was present for my appointment. So I called the leasing office and it went to voicemail, I left a message summing up that I was at the apartment for my schedule viewing and no one was there, and to please give me a call back as Id really like to see the apartments.Later that day after the close of business, I still had not received a call back from any leasing agent or management at Starrview. Then I wrote an email expressing my general disappointment of the staff at Starview for not having at least the courtesy to call me back. It wasnt until five days later that ever heard back from anyone at Starrview. I received a response from management via email. Sadly when they were finally able to get back to me I was leaving town.In close, if a leasing company cant muster up the ability to make a courtesy call to shuffle an appointment, or at least return a phone call with a minimal apology for missing an appointment then youre probably better off looking elsewhere. I found a better apartment complex that actually was prompt at communicating with me just up the road near West Pima Community College with a pool, jacuzzi, 24 hour gym, with newer more updated units at a cheaper cost. So my advice is dodge a bullet and just look elsewhere.
Great place to live and nice neighborhood
