I lived at House Mother apartments for one year- Not only was the location convenient, enjoyable, and preferred, but the management was awesome. I was able to walk to class, 4th avenue, downtown, and I loved not having to worry about driving to campus on a daily basis. The units are spacious, open, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. Unlike many student housing apartments, these units had more of a loft feel, and I was always treated wonderfully and with respect. Any problems that we had were immediately addressed, and my roommates and I trusted the management and contractors without hesitation. Problems were fixed without hesitation, we were treated with respect, and our experience living at House Mother was great. As a student who has experienced a variety of management/landlords, the staff of Bright Properties proved to me that student housing can be done correctly, and that the management of these apartments puts their tenants first.
I cant say enough about how wonderful my experience has been living in the Don Martin Apartments - Phil and Joleen have made this place incredible! The historic building is extremely well-cared and naturally charming with the requisite character youd expect of a cool 1929 adobe apartment complex: fully dialed large kitchens, wood floors, unique solid wood built-ins, original features, and tons of light, plus modern central air. My second-floor corner studio has been my absolute favorite home thus far!!! The true icing on the cake is that Phils attention to detail, character, worldview, and passion for building community in the Old Pueblo more than earned my respect; I was pleased to send my rent check his way every month! Better still is the attentiveness, exceptional customer service, immediate responsiveness, generosity, professionalism, and genuine good will that Joleen and the other Bright Property staff people effuse - Ive seriously NEVER been so well taken care of! Its hard to be leaving this special place, and Ill always recommend Don Martin and Bright Properties to anyone thats looking for a sweet little home and familial service!
Steffanie is a great landlord and has always stayed on top of any apartment needs. Maintenance was also great. The owners and the apartment are great. No noise to complain about and the place is clean and kept up well. Would love to live here forever the location is great! Also never saw a bug once the two years I lived here.
I lived at House Mother apartments for a year, and am now living at University Lofts on 1st Avenue. Ive had horrible experiences with landlords in the past but the people at Bright Properties have gone above and beyond with any requests I have. Their properties are always kept in tip top shape, and best of all, they respect their tenants. I would highly recommend any of their properties to anyone who is a student at the UofA.
I lived here when it was called the Kings Inn. The new owners have definitely improved the place and the atmosphere.
I currently live at 6th ave. Lofts. I have lived here for the past 9 months and had a great experience. The inside of the building is renovated which youd never guess from the outside. management has been great and takes great care of the property. The apartments have hardwood floors, renovated bathrooms, and updated light fixtures and windows. 6th ave. lofts is perfect location for a U of A student. it is 5-10 bike ride to anywhere on campus, 5 min walk to the cat tran route, and 10 min walk from all the major bars on 4th / downtown. The location is safe and have never had any issues. I highly recommend this apartment complex.
