I love La Vie Nails & Spa! Ive tried nail salons after nail salons, and either all my nails fall off or my real nails become really thin...but La Vie Nails never disappoint me, their nails last 3 weeks or longer. The nail techs are amazing, and the owner Katherine is the sweetest most funniest person youll ever meet!! She makes your experience very welcoming and positive. This is my go to nail salon from now on, I love the quality, cleanliness, and welcoming spirits! (Nails done by MiMi.)

Vicki did a great job today!! The nails turned out beautiful, exactly how I wanted them with the square shape. She listened to what I wanted instead of telling me what to get, which I appreciated as sometimes I go to salons and they keep pushing me to get a different style.It did take a long time to get my nails done but as I said, the results were gorgeous. There was another person in the salon that said she waited for two hours the last time she came and now waited 40 minutes to get her nails done. I advise coming at a time earlier than 5 o’clock so that you don’t have to wait too long. I waited for about 15-20 min.Overall, I loved La Vie and will be coming back here to get my nails done in the future!

I have been going here for years and am extremely pleased with the services I have received. I look forward to my monthly visits, which to me is a most relaxing time. The owner Kathryn and her staff are very friendly and I have been pleased with all the various nail techs Ive experienced over the years. The place is exceptionally clean, which is so important. The costs are reasonable. I appreciate that there is never a problem with my appointments, whenever I arrive, they are always ready for me. I highly recommend them.

Well, it is a decent place to get your nails done, but do NOT expect too much about the service if you are looking for some enjoyable experience along with the manicure. They forgot my appointment I did the day before and have to wait to 30mins. Both my friend and I feel that the whole process was finished in a rushed and uncared attitude, so do NOT recommend this place.

Won’t ever go there, I made An appointment for gel manicure. It was my first time there. I got there 20 minutes before my appointment, since I got off of work early, so thought let’s see if they can take me early. The owner asked me to wait for my appointment time, which I didn’t Mind to do and then when it was the time she was like, oh please have a seat on the chair I will be with you shortly, I waited another 20 minutes, and then I realized she still has 2 more customers ahead of me.Finally I asked her how long it is going to take. She said I am sorry, but I did a mistake with overbooking. she could have told me that an hour ago. But nope wasted my hour and still it wasn’t my turn yet. I walked out of the place saying please don’t do that to anyone else again.

Women working made my friends and I feel very welcome, made us laugh and most importantly gave us BEAUTIFUL nails 10/10 highly recommend !!

Very clean salon. A full set (with shellac) was $60 which is very reasonable. Misa did an amazing job! They have every color you could think of and my nails look awesome.

I loved the people that were working there they were friendly but I had made the appointment 3 weeks in advance and they product I came out with was not the good. My nails lasted less that 2 weeks and they were acrylics they fell off and damaged my nails really bad.

Lived in Troy a little over a year now and after trying several nail salons in the area this place was definitely my favorite, I’ve gone here for the last couple months and they always do a great job, their clean, they also have many colors to choose from so that’s always a plus definitely recommend if your new to the area or just looking for a new nail place.

Salon was empty upon arrival for my gel manicure and pedicure appointment. As people arrived (they clearly overbooked) my nail stylist rushed and my gel mani and pedi were not up to par for the cost- Not to mention my nails didn’t even last 1 week before they began chipping! For the cost I wouldn’t recommend. I won’t ever return here.

Awesome place, the nail techs are so nice and the place is so relaxing.

The service I received was great, they were able to see me right away. One cons is that they don’t have their prices anywhere and for the basic pedicure I received I didn’t think it was on the high end of the price point.

If I could give 10 stars... I would!! La Vie nails is absolutely the best! Misa fixed my coffin shaped nails and they are beautiful.. I have been looking and comparing nail salons for a long time... Trying this one and that one.. And being sooooo disappointed when my nails were not right. Or find one that they do good work but, their additude is so bad that you just cant continue/excuse that behavior.. Well give Misa a try,, I bet you you will be as happy as I am. She is very nice, talented and really does care that you are happy with how she did your nails. She takes her time and shapes them beautifully.. I have finally found my goto nail salon! I havent tried any of the other people, so I cant give an honest opinion on their work.

The only nail salon I go to! Have been going here for years. Everyone is friendly and very accommodating. They have gone above and beyond to follow all safety precautions during the pandemic and I feel very safe going there because I know Katherine and Misa really care about their customers.

Great service and high-quality gel manicures. My first gel mani from La Vie lasted three weeks and only one nail had chipped right before. Everyone here is super nice and accommodating. This is definitely my new salon and I look forward to going back - but not too frequently since their manis last so long! Competitive pricing as well... highly recommend.

I always have my nails done there, dipping powder is my favorite type. They do a great job and the ladies are very nice. Even for my wedding I had manicure and pedicure done there. Mimi did an amazing job with my french manicure with dipping powder.

Me and my sister have been coming here for about two months now, we’re new to Michigan and had been looking for a place to keep our nails up that reminded us of home (Atlanta). We love it here! My nails last until it’s time for a fill, no chipping, no lifting no problems at all. They also have a massive polish/gel selection. They are fast and CLEAN and super friendly/pleasant! I have been going to get my manicures and pedicures from here for 3 years. The service is amazing and they always have all the newest products and colors. Misa is my girl and she is amazing. She recently introduced me to the Deluxe Pedicure. It is super relaxing and it is just one massage after another. My feet are very happy during the time we are there! It is such a relaxing treatment. As for my nails, they always look perfect.

Very friendly, but unfortunately what I requested was not what I received. Would have preferred they told me no instead of what I received. Check the photos for yourself... Matte black with white design. Requested square and they were extremely sharp on edges that I had to file them down myself. Had someone ask if my child did them.Had to go to another salon to have them fixed. Extremely disappointed.

Stopped here for a pedicure last minute on my way home. They were able to get me in quickly as a walk in, however, the lady that did my pedicure used cuticle clippers to cut my toenails. When she did, she cut both of my toes to the point of bleeding. On top of that, I ended up developing paronychia on both of my big toes and have to be on antibiotics! They CLEARLY do not clean their utensils!

Nice place! Staff is very friendly, much friendlier than usual Asian salons. Salon seems clean. Did a good job on brows and shellac manicure. Prices were decent. $30 for Shellac Mani, $10 for brows. They have a dedicated waxing room.

Super chill environment!! Ive never had shellac look so good. Very good quality work, they dont rush your nails to try and get your money and you out the door. The nail stylest I had even started over just to make sure my nails world come out how they were supposed to. Most place would just continue on and not say anything. This is a place I would highly recommend and the prices reasonable.

I brought my sister here to get her nails done for a wedding. Showed the nail tech the picture my sister wanted and she would not stop questioning her. The nail tech kept talking about how expensive the job was going to be and kept making my sister feel uncomfortable about the length she wanted her nails to be. If a customer is willing to pay for nails, do not question what they want, the length, or try to persuade them to not get the design they want.

I have going here for almost a year. I truly love this place. Very clean (uses autoclave)! All the girls are very nice and become like friends. They do whatever you like even when your not happy they will make you happy. People if you think they are pricey then go to the cheaper salon. I pay for quality and all the supplies they use on me compare to other salons!

I made an appointment with Misa, I went in for my appointment and when I got there and asked for her they said she wasn’t there. Although I made the appointment a week prior, they did not call me and tell me she was going to be unavailable that day. Once I got there and I found out misa wasn’t there they asked me if I was going to stay, of course I was. I drove so far and needed my nails done for the night. Another lady did my nails and I had to tell her three times that I wanted a fresh full-set but she kept insisting that I should keep my old set and that it would be faster. I wanted my old set off because my natural nails were so outgrown and they looked gross. I will never return here because of how unprofessional they are, they should have called me and let me know that Misa would not have been there and when a customer wants something done dont argue with them about it.

This place was recommended to me by a friend because I was looking for a nail salon to take my bridesmaids before my wedding. I tried it out first and met the owner, who was super accommodating and even let us bring in our own snacks and beverages to the shop while all my bridesmaids got their nails done! To my surprise she had brought in a fruit platter for us to enjoy as well on the day of! They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and their prices are pretty good! Highly recommend!!

Upset that I drove 30 minutes through traffic to get here by 6:30--right after work-- to get here before they close. Just to start walking to the door, the lady in the salon looked through the window, then turned off the open sign after seeing me. I was extremely disappointed for that to have happened.

I can honestly say that this is my only go to nail salon!! Katherine the owner is actually my nail technician and she has done such a amazing job with my nails over the years, she always knows exactly what to do I never have to tell her she even picks out my nail color when Im overwhelmed with how many options they have they have so many to choose from. Not only is the service amazing the business is always clean which to me is very important knowing that Im getting my nails done in a clean environment. This place is amazing go check it out!!!!

Honestly, even though they are very nice and clean, my nails look like they were done by a 2 year old. At the end of the day, its the quality of the work thats most important to me. I cant stand looking at my nails and will have to go somewhere else to have them redone.
