Ashley was amazing! I have an overactive nervous system, sometimes my hands get stiff or randomly twitch. She was so sweet and just went with the flow, very polite.Its hard finding a nail salon that has staff that also engages with their own clients but everyone there!Theyre even priced perfectly! Amazing job and great price! I got a full set of acrylic nails and am super pleased with how they turned out and how inexpensive they were! Also very little small talk, which I, personally appreciate. Though, if you do prefer small talk they do initiate some small talk and seem happy to engage in it! I always dread getting my nails, hair, etc done bc I dont like participating in small talk. All in all, great experience! 10/10 would recommend and would definitely visit again.

This is my favorite place to get my nails done. They have different methods to choose from and a variety of colors.I had always done regular gel before I came to Venus nails with my sister, the ladies here told me about dip. Its easier on your natural nails and very strong so it lasts longer than gel.My nails are my own and the dip color easily lasts at least a month. I do alot of cleaning in my job and these nails hold up.Ive had almost every tech here do my nails and they are all great! I get my eyebrows waxed here too and Ive never been unsatisfied.I highly recommend Venus Nails.

Woman scraped the skin right off the side of my foot, leaving bloody scans the next day. Cut my nails so painfully short I actually cried out in the middle of the salon. Cut the normally 30 minute experience down to ten, skipping half the treatment ( including the hot towels, which I normally love). I’m not from here, but if I was I would definitely never go back to this salon.

No room for a walk in, call ahead. Just wanting my chipped gel polish removed, no color/manicure - said it’d take 20 minutes and they couldn’t do it.

I went in to get a pedicure with my sister today and the pedicures lasted 7 minutes. My pedicure was below exceptional, but my sisters was way worse- did not take off her nail polish all the way and cut her nails crooked, talked about us the whole time, and also had no sanitary liners in the pedicure tub. After the water was drained, the tub was covered with old skin flakes. When we went to pay, the older lady still made my sister pay $25 dollars even though my sister got no nail polish and a subpar massage. I would way rather go to Venus Beautiful Nails on Division. Not worth it at all and I am worried about their health code regulations because the state of the pedicure tubs and by just looking around the salon. I am worried I am going to get a fungal infection on my feet. I am going home and soaking my feet and doing a better job MYSELF than what they did.

I went in to get dip and it was clear that the lady doing my nails did not know how to do it. The lady went over and watched the other guy doing my friends nails to learn how to do it and then came and did my nails. The nails turned out to be super chunky and thick and look terrible. The lady should not have done dip nails if she did not know how to do them properly.

First time going to this salon and I will be going no where else, I absolutely loved it! They opened early for my gf and I, who else does that! I got a full set gel and gel pedicure, Hop and Tom did my nails and they did such a fantastic job I couldnt be happier!! Was very lovely experiance and fabulous massage chairs when you getting a pedicure.

I am so impressed with my acrylics! Half tips half dip/gel acrylic and they havent lifted at all. A more expensive place did full dip/gel and they started lifted within two days and its been a week still strong. Beautiful gel polish work as well Ive gotten several compliments on them. Highly recommend!

Worst pedicure I have ever had. Go to Venus Beautiful Nail in Northtown instead. Lasted seven minutes, didn’t even bother getting the paint put on because the quality of the pedicure was so poor. Also did not have disposable sanitary liners for pedicure basins. Overall, horrible service, horrible pedicure, and unsanitary conditions. Wouldn’t visit again or recommend to a friend.

The place is really nice and clean. The workers were all very kind. The woman who did my nails obviously knew what she was doing and was both quick and efficient. This is the best manicure Ive ever gotten, my nails are flat and perfectly shaped. They also had a lot of colors, gel and regular, to choose from. Wonderful place, always going to go back here

I had made an appt over a week ago and checked twice throughout the week and they said they had no appt when I showed up for my moms birthday. They were very rude and said at 11am they would not get us in.

This establishment is very popular and has a large regular client base. Make an appointment to insure you can have expedient service, otherwise you could be disappointed and end up searching for services elsewhere. The techs are friendly and efficient and do a variety of nail services. The business is very clean and the price point is in line with most businesses in the area. There is plenty of parking and a Starbucks is nearby so you may enjoy a beverage while soaking your feet.

I absolutely love this place! I went in for the first yesterday and couldnt be happier. She had to remove my other set of nails and was gentle and patient. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning. I reccomend making a appointment because they are super busy.

This was my first time at this salon and it was alright, but I wasn’t overly impressed. As you can see my cuticles could use quite some more attention and the shapes aren’t all uniform. Those things become an issue for me when it costs $99 for a full set and a pedicure.

Hubby and I went in today for pedicures. Upgraded to a gold pedicure and asked for a design... they lady doing my pedicure was so busy having a conversation that my calluses weren’t properly addressed and she kept filing my toes instead of my toenails. At the end when she was finishing up I reminded her about the design I had requested and she had someone else do it - then they put no topcoat over the design. Expensive and not with the cost :(

After much too long hiatus from getting nails done, my daughter and I went for gel manicures. We ended up separated but we both had a good experience. The gal who did my nails was efficient, meticulous and great to chat with. Im terrible with names and wish I would have remembered! If I return (I simply dont get nails done often) she would be my go-to gal.Im very particular about a nail service being detailed rather than just focusing on fancy treatments and attractive polish. I want to walk out with cuticles perfectly trimmed and any roughness erased. I was very happy with the results here and my daughters nails looked just as great. Price was very competitive, much less expensive than spa manicures of lesser quality Ive had in the past.My only problem was with a noticable buildup of dust and clutter around the salon. Cleanliness should be made more priority, especially when nail techs are doing so well to uphold a high standard for the services offered.

Story time: Let me preface this by saying that if you’re considering going here, you won’t regret it. This was my third time at Venus nails, and I have always been so impressed by their affordable prices, clean salon, and caring customer service.I recently went in to Venus Nails (not Venus Beautiful Nails, they’re often confused) with some friends. Our appointment was for 3 gel manicures, but they accommodated 2 of us (myself included) changing last minute to acrylic.My friends acrylic nails looked fabulous right off the bat, but I was very disappointed as mine were thick, lumpy, and uneven. We paid and left, but I was increasingly unsatisfied as several friends commented on the poor quality of the job. I called that same night, and kindly asked for an appointment to come in and get them fixed.The response was immediate, and they got me in the next morning to have them fixed. I walked in and was greeted warmly, there was clearly no animosity that I was requesting a redo service.The nail technician who redid my nails was so kind and accommodating - he took the time and care to make my nails exactly how I wanted them. His quality of work was amazing and detailed, and my nails look fabulous now! The service to get them fixed was free, but I was so impressed with his work and his attitude that I tipped- no problem and this was clearly not expected of me.I think it’s important to remember, as a customer, that they do nails all day, every day. Some days will be off, and that’s ok. If you don’t get what you want, say something! They are so kind here, and genuinely want you to be happy and get what you pay for.Venus Nails has my business for good 👍🏻

Always do a great job on my nails, but sometimes not very efficient

The technician who did the work was careful, precise, and quick. He made suggestions for color, and knew how each would turn out on my nails. He cleaned and shaped my nails and cuticles, which not all technicians take the time to do before a gel manicure. A week and a half later and my nails still look fantastic.

I went to Venus nails today after it was recommended to me by a coworker. He did such a good job! He listened to everything I said and consistently checked in with me to make sure my nails looked how I wanted them to! I will absolutely be back and will recommend this place to everyone!

Absolutely in love with my acryllic nails. I was a walk in and the owner quickly acknowledged me and told me it would be Just a few minutes which it was. The place was nice and relaxed and not freezing cold which was very nice.The tech was very nice and patient with me as I tend to tense up my fingers. He did an amazing job eith the shape and steered me in the right direction of going with one coat with the color i picked, the owner even said she was glad we went with one coat as it looks super natural (the look i was going for). Overall great place and it seems very popular as well. You cant go wrong here!!

Very clean, best massage chairs Ive ever used at a salon. Got me in quick and didnt skimp on anything--good quality polish and long foot massage. I live in Seattle but when I visit this is where I will be going.

Got nails done yesterday and the lady cut me twice and It still stings she also bumped one of my nails and didnt fix it. The messed up nail just exploded today because of a large bubble that appeared on it. I took a look and then it started to flake off and it is no longer matte in some places and you can see the acrylic underneath. It is very sticky and now looks terrible.

I came in looking for someone that can do fun and funky nails with decorations and stones. They were amazing! Super friendly people.

Ive been here more then 10 times to either get a basic pedi or gel manicure. Its clean and theyre nice. Today after looking at my nails I was so frustrated. My toenails are jagged. The lady trimmed my nails, cut the corners but didnt file them so now all my toes exceot my big toe are pointy in random areas. She did cut dead skin/callus.My mani was just a cut and gel polish. No cuticle or callus care. Why?! I could still see good portions of my nail after she was done polishing.I spent $100, brought my boyfriend in for his first time.I loved coming here but this was the worst. Not going back.

The owner, T, really loves to do nails. You should make an appointment with her. She will go out of her way to make sure you love your nails.

If I can review with no star I would.They are not following their schedule time and their schedules are not organized. I used to make appointments and once I arrive and see them busy with other customers and they tells me to wait till they finish and then they would do me main. Also, the nail quality is not good and when my nail broke and I go back to them to do my nails they look to seemed unhappy and let me to wait even if they have an opening. Last time I went to fix my broken nail they told me that they will charge me $5 for each nail.

I took my 2 daughters into Venus nails this past Saturday morning to get my youngest daughter a mani and my older daughter and myself a full set of tips. it was both girls first time ever getting their nails done at a salon, so they were both super excited.We left there an hour and a half later extremely displeased. 3 weeks ago I painted my nails dark red and added a clear gel top coat and cured it with my UV light as I always do. I completely forgot to remove it before going in for tips, but the man said he could remove it and it wasnt a problem. I was relieved to hear that, so I picked out a vibrant blue color, and told him that i wanted clear nails, except at the very tips i wanted a little bit of blue, and he said that was fine.He soaked my nails in acetone, and after a couple of minutes, he was able to scrap about 60% of my old polish away. I figured that he would file away the rest, but instead finished the prep, and started attaching all 10 of the nail tips, even with my old dark red color still showing through. When I asked him how he would get the rest of it off from under the nail, he got annoyed and said, Ill take care of it, i dont want it there either. i didnt know how, but I sat back and let him do his work, assuming he was going to somehow make it right. When everything was done and he was opening the blue polish for the tips, i was upset to see that all of the old red polish was all still there and very much noticeable, so i asked him if i could pick a different color to do something else, and again he was really irritated and said fine. I grabbed a bottle of red polish and asked him if he would just paint them normal. so he did. the other thing is that i asked him (and i showed him a picture) to shape them a certain way, rounded but with a straight across tip, and he was sure, thats almond shape and then he pointed at the picture where the nail was straight at the tip, and he shook his head and said NO. he ended up shaping them round and pointy, and miniature looking, and a couple of them were VERY crooked. i didnt say anything, i have my own electric nail file at home, and knew i could fix whatever he was doing.. the next day, i noticed that the thumb tips he used were too small, and i can see my own thumb nail around the edges up to the top of my cuticles!my oldest daughter had picked out 2 colors, blue and purple, and she asked the woman working on her nails to alternate colors.. the woman said yes. halfway through our session, about 15 people piled into the shop for pedis and manis... it seemed to me like maybe they were short staffed...? in any case, its like the woman working on my oldest daughter didnt want to waste time messing with 2 different colors, and instead painted her nails one color, and then got up and left. just like that... it was almost like all the other new customers that came in were suddenly more important than we were.. also the next day when i saw that my thumb nails were the wrong side, my daughter showed me hers, and i noticed that alost every single one of her tips were also the wrong size just like mine, TOO SMALL, but worse than my thumbs!my youngest daughter had asked also for 2 different colors, but also asked for hearts on her ring fingers, and then glitter polish at the end (shes 10). the man told her to choose one or the other, a painted heart or glitter polish, so she chose glitter polish. again, she got just a mani, and she was really happy with it until later, she showed me that almost every single one of her nails, the guy didnt even bring the polish up to her cuticles, theres about 1/2 inch of empty space between her cuticles and the nail polish.all 3 of us got extremely poor service. a dear friend of mine had recommended this place to us, and i also was impressed by all of the positive reviews i read online. i have thought about calling to complain, but honestly i just dont feel like it would be worth it. we will definitely be going elsewhere for our fills in a couple of weeks.
