Ive been looking for a nail salon to call my own, and my search is over! My nails were done exactly how I wanted! I get compliments about my nails every day! Prices were extremely reasonable as well! I am so happy! 💕

Best to have an appointment as they’re usually pretty busy. Great pedicure and the massage chairs are a welcome bonus.

I was one of the first customers to use Happy Nails. I have gone to them for years. Love the owner but children have taken over and service is very poor. I had made an appointment I was on time but the customer before me was late (per Sara) and put Sara way behind. When I was called over to Saras station I was told I would not be able to have all services scheduled because she was running behind (35 minutes). I let Hung know I had a appointment he said I would need to reschedule because he did not want the next customer to wait. He needed to get Sara back on schedule. The customer that would come after me was more important than a customer that was scheduled and in the spa. You lost a very loyal customer!

I called for a manicure last minute. They got me in quick and did an amazing job.

I was treated like a queen. I had a manicure and pedicure. Feet look so pretty! I felt pampered and cute when I left. Everyone who works there is so genuinely friendly. Call ahead for an appointment, they are crazy busy, and yes they are that good!😊

My mom and I go here several times a year. They are always friendly and for the most part do a good pedicure. Sometimes we leave and still have some rough skin that wasn’t removed but that only happens occasionally, usually if they are over booked. Friendly staff and clean.

First time there. Had a nice experience. My nails look great and the employees were very kind and patient with the fact I know nothing about nails. I wish there was a little more conversation with the person doing my nails but thats more of an added bonus than a must so it was okay. Would come back.

I spoke to someone over the phone several days after a pedicure. Most of the nails smudges after diligantly letting dry for over 4 hours. I was told I should have gotten gel and it was probably my fault for wearing shoes too soon. Very disappointed in the response. Was told I could come in but would be charged for a repaint. Ill take my bussiness else where.They were clean and COVID appropriate, although it was odd they charge you $5 extra for each service because of COVID. The guy working the night I went in was nice and friendly.

They do a good job for a good price.

They did awesome work on my toes and it was so pretty! They were super busy but still did a great job with every customer! Love this place but my only complaint was the nail tech couldn’t understand me that well and I had to speak as clearly as possible to talk to her. But other than that they did a great job!

This is my favorite place to get my nails done! Always a consistently good product, and they never mind that I am nearly always a walk-in, even though Ive been coming here for over a decade .

Best nails I have ever had done! My gel manicure never chipped and continued to look great until it grew out!

I have been to this nail spa many times. Some of the technicians are great and others are just okay. It is best if you make an appointment! I have had to wait a long time even when I have had an appointment so make sure you schedule plenty of time. My main issue is that the location isnt very clean. They seem to clean the equipment but the floors and restroom and waiting area are a bit grungy.

This place is great. It is usually pretty busy so its good to make an appointment to avoid a wait. The staff is really friendly and the pedicures there are amazing. I would highly recommend this nail place above many others!

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I had the worst experience. I got my nails done by Wendy and I couldn’t believe how rude she was. She would slap my hand and tell me to relax or she would slap my hand and tell me to stop moving. Which I didn’t think I was moving that bad.. I was with a friend and we were chatting.. when she asked what shape of nail I would like I told her oval/round/natural shaped... and what I got was something completely different.. she was really rushing my nails and nicked my skin a few times.. when I left I was embarrassed and didn’t say anything. I called in the next morning and spoke to a manager about my experience and asked if someone else could fix them? But the manager told me Wendy was the only one who could fix them or she would have to charge me a full set. And then she told me that it was my fault they were shaped bad and not all of the nail techs are the same or they would be robots. Haha which I wasn’t implying at all. I’m upset because I don’t think anyone would want the shape / thickness of the nails I got and I had hoped they would make this right. But Now, I have to go to another nail salon and get them fixed. I will never come back here again.

Best gel mani Ive ever had! Lasted 11 days looking perfect before I had to cut my nails for work-with no chipping or peeling. Every other gel mani Ive had has peeled after 4 days so Im seriously impressed. The owners daughter was so friendly and accommodating; I will definitely be back!

Very impatient and unwilling to help. I wanted a specific design on my big toe and the girl just stared at me and said “I can’t”. There are 9 other techs there, one can be talented enough?! Then they charged me $7 extra to do two toes! There are way too many places to choose from. Won’t go back.

I would not recommend this nail salon. The technician who did my nails was very good, but the owner doesn’t seem to care if she gets business or not. In trying to figure out a scheduling problem, she was very rude. The sign on the door says “Walk-ins Welcome,” but they are not. Ms. Owner was rude to me another time when I “walked in” to see if there was an opening. It seems to me that they have enough business that common courtesy is not necessary for this business. Thanks to the owner’s undesirable behavior in front of other customers, I found another much more friendly salon!

Wonderful place. My sister and I came in as a walk in and they got us right in. They took their time and did a great job! Our nails are fabulous and perfect for the Christmas season!!

I had a horrible experience at Happy Nails. I went in to get my nails done for my wedding and was lectured the ENTIRE time about how girls get married too young and dont know what they are doing. On top of that they destroyed my nails and the spa was not clean at all. I would not recommend going.

Sara is fabulous. So is everyone really. Love this place.

They do a great job but the last time I was there they charged me an extra $5 to remove my gel which they should do anyways. I have never had to remove my own gel or get charged. I have never had them do that before. Shouldnt that already be included in the $35 they charge to do your nails. I ended up paying $43 with a tip......thats pretty expensive for gel nails

GO TO QPI NAILS, INSTEAD OF THIS PLACE. ITS DOWN THE STREET FROM HAPPY DESIGN!!!This is a long review but worth the read. If I had know they acted like this I would of gone somewhere else.It’s kinda a gamble to go there. Some of them do great work and some of them do not. Regardless of who you get, you’ll get rude and awkward service.I had been going there for over a year and they always acted like they didn’t know me, which I found rude and odd since I was coming in regularly, for over a year and would always be friendly and talk to them. But I did notice that if you’re a popular girl at the high school down the street, they will be all kinds of nice to you.They have a sign that says walk ins are welcome, but if you are a walk in be prepared to stand awkwardly inside at the door for like 10 minutes until someone finally gives you the time of day. Honestly same goes for if you make appointments. Been there 20+ times and I always had the awkward wait each time.Frankly, I didn’t realize how not good and rude this place was until I was a little late to an appointment (which no set time was arranged, I just called and asked if I could head over soon and if they had any availability, which they said yes and to head over when I can and they will “wait for you”) so once we got there which was maybe 20 minutes later, aka any normal amount of time it would take to drive there, they RUDELY turned us away. (If you read more reviews you’ll see they do this to customers who are even a couple minutes late, quite often) Saying we took WAY too long to get there. Keeping in mind they didn’t talk to us at the front desk they yelled to us across the salon so EVERYONE inside awkwardly was watching us. I was left awkwardly standing there being lectured on time from across the room. SO rude and awkward. If 20 minutes was too long you probably should not have told me on the phone you could fit me in!? So we ended up going to a nail place literally down the street to QPI Nails and (of course calling ahead and asking if they could fit me in) they were so nice and told me to come on over! I got beautiful nails amazing service! They serve you drinks, actually engage in conversation and ask your name and then REMEMBER YOU. I will forever go to this new salon I fortunately found after being embarrassed by this nail salon.

They seem to have gone down hill over the past 2 years. The color selection for polish is very poor and they disparately need to splurge on new colors. (Yes. a lot of us still like polish on our toes not gel.) They always seem to be in a rush and the quality seems to be lacking. The price for gel is much higher than other places. Its sad because I used to love them but I have moved on to another place.

We got stuck in traffic and we were late for our appointment and they wouldn’t take us. I have a $50 gift certificate that I won’t be using because they were so rude. I will stick with Crystal Nails in Draper because they are always accommodating!

Was able to schedule 4 pedicures together every one was happy. Charged more for hot wax $35 pedicures and of course flower $5.

I love this place. Excellent service every time. I suggest you call ahead and make an appointment, they tend to always be busy.

I went to Regal Nail Spa in the Riverton Walmart & received the best service and nails & pedicure Ive ever received! Happy Design Nail Spa is a COMPLETEDISAPPOINTMENT!!!!Dont waste your time or money on this place!!!!!!They treat there returningcustomers like pure dirt & the customer service is absolutely horrible!!!!! My friends also Love Hawaii Nails just off of 13400 s. as well! Theres no reason to go back!!! Trust Me!!!

Very rude. Do not go there for waxing. They cut off half of my eyebrow. They didn’t keep my shape I had before so they are just straight across. Not recommended.

Worst experience Ive ever had! When I expressed my concerns to management about their staff member destroying my fingernails, he became hostile and argumentative. Had to go elsewhere to have the damage repaired!

She isnt there as much Fri I got my nails done sat 2 nails were badly chipped one peeking in end The is we said you were too rough on them. I have been coming here for several months now. I normally have been very happy with Hong and the service I have received here, and would otherwise give this place a four star review. Today, however, is a different story. Surprise charges of taking off my toe gel polish (which I had not been told before), is NOT appreciated.Except today, they were sure to tell me, by THREE different people, they will charge me the same price, even if I am using my own gel polish.Asking for a gel polish pedicure should include the price of removal of gel polish.Just add the removal into your prices. It’s ridiculous to have three people all tell your price is changing.I have had several gel pedicures here before, no one has ever said there is an additional charge of this. I don’t care about the $5, it’s the principle of feeling nickeled and dimed here today.Hong said he wouldn’t charge me the $5 today, but would next time. Thank you, Hong, but seriously, adjust your prices so it includes everything, instead of having to tell your customers there’s an extra charge for everything.

Was not happy! I made an appointment for 3 of us and they were so rushed to get us in and out, so they could fit more clients in, the water was so cold in my foot bath I had to keep telling the lady it was cold, she would just keep filling it with more cold water.. then she half way filed my nails, didnt even cut the cuticles, did a 3 minute massage on my feet, barely filed the bottom of my feet and then she attempted some art work which was a disaster and I had to complain to get another nail tech to fix it!!It was still 35 bucks after everything was said and done, and I wont be coming back, my 8 year old does a better job then that!!!!

Horrible! Pedicure. They refused to clean bottom of my feet unless I up graded from $20 to $35. Girl dippedal 1 time in polish to paint all 5 toes, leaving pinky toe with thin streaky look. Will NEVER go back!
