I made an appointment online for a color. I came in wanting an all over color knowing I needed it lightened. They told me the dye they were going to use had a lightening agent and they wanted to do something a little different then the original plan. She took 5 hours to do my hair and my roots and front pieces had turned a golden orange and the rest was still dark brown. Definitely could’ve gotten a box dye to get these results. They had me pay still even though I was very unhappy with the results and told me to come back in 10 days for a touch up. Didn’t even need a touch up because they messed up my hair. Went to the Valley Fair location the next day to get it fixed and had beautiful results. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!

I had my hair done here last minute by a master stylist. I showed her pictures of what I wanted which was Bayalage. She took all day pulling dye through my hair and when she had dried my hair it looked exactly the same as when I came in. Exactly the same!! Then she cut my hair and it looked so bad. I do not reccomend going here. It worries me who they make master stylists. I did get a refund and the manager was very nice an apologetic.

I went and got my hair done by Ashleigh and had an amazing experience! She was so kind and my hair turned out even better than I had expected. I will definitely be scheduling another appointment for her to do my hair in the future. Thank you, Ashleigh! 🙂

I saw Ashleigh for and she was so nice. She listened to what I wanted and I left feeling great about my new style. She was fun to be around but also knew her stuff when it came to taking care of my hair!

Mimi is the best! If you need to do an appointment ask for her. She does know how to dye your hair appropriately and it treats your hair very gentle! I spent 4 hours for her and I enjoyed her company

Tried to make an appointment and the female representative was just so short tempered with me and rude from the time she answered. So many sighs in the first 3 minutes of the conversation. Customer service is very horrible that I just decided to go some place else for my cut and color. Once I said that to the rep on the phone she replied, thats fine and hung up.

I had a HORRIBLE experience here! I went in to get a Balayage before my trip to California. I spent 4 hours with a lady that couldn’t understand what I was asking for. I ended up with orange, poke a dot/ Leopard spots all over my hair with some super blonde pieces scattered around. Super un even and no where close to a Balayage. I called them the next day to try and get my money back for the horrible job, panicking because I couldn’t go on my trip with this hair! Another lady told me to come in and she would fix it. I went in and was told that the bleach that she was going to use on my hair to fix it would not damage it at all. Totally not true. My hair is fried and it still looks terrible. I worked really hard to get my hair long and healthy and all it took was one trip to this place to destroy YEARS of hard work. 😭 I won’t even shop at JCpenny anymore after the experience I had. I’m furious with them. So please do not go here unless you want your long hair fried off and horrible color.

Horrible experience, NEVER MORE !!! I cut and dye my hair in this place, and they charge you an excessively expensive price, they have people without experience, that is what I do not explain! as a prestigious place, there are people who know nothing about hairdressing, because you leave there worse than how you arrived they destroy your hair !!! and then you have to look for another place where the disaster they left you in the Jcpenney HAIRDRESSING ROOM is fixed to you. This is very frustrating. Please dont fix it, let alone cut your hair here, let alone with a woman named MARYAM According to her, she says she is French and in the end the woman is from Iran and does not know how to cut her hair. She has no experience. I leave Horrible work, I never return to this place, work waste they do. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!! HERE DO NOT HAVE A PROFETIONAL PEOPLE. THERE IS NO HAIR PROFETIONAL ..
