Nice employees, helpful and knowledgeable. Short wait times, quick service. Prices were fair. Got my oil changed and couple tires fixed. Will be returning if/when I need to. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

They gave us great service. We had a class c motorhome that had a tire shred on our way home. After our insurance provider couldnt find someone to come out to where we were, I found Blacks tire not far from us. They came out to us within an hour and brought a new tire. They installed it and had us back on the road in no time. Very friendly and reasonable price. Thank you!

My dad took my car there just to get looked at because we had just bought it and we wanted to make sure everything was working okay. We came back to pick it up and we saw that it had many scratches on the top of the trunk. My dad asked to speak to someone about it just to let them know to be more careful. The guy that came out was very unprofessional and rude. He cursed out my dad and was just honestly horrible. worst customer service ever. I’m truly surprised nobody has fired him yet, seems to be a recurring event by the other reviews. My dad didn’t want me to leave a review because it wouldn’t “be right” but what that man did wasn’t either so im going to.

Had a great experience today at Blacks. The lady,gentleman,and the tire installer were great and very professional. Didn’t not try to sell me a more expensive tire. They had the tires in stock and mounted them all today very pleased with them and my tires.

I was traveling through Selma NC when a tire on my 5th wheel camper started going down. I was very lucky to find Blacks tire shop in Smithfield NC. It was labor day weekend and they were open. I called them they said bring it right in and we will get you fixed right up.I cant say enough great things about this shop. I was traveling out of state when my tire blew around midnight. I was trapped out of state and had to spend $150 to get the only taxi service in the area (from Raleigh) to come get me and take me to the nearest stay. Jessie from Black’s Tire was so kind to me when he called first thing in the morning. He took care of my car and got a new tire on. He felt so bad about the entire situation that he offered a ride to come get my car after having to pay so much in the middle of the night! Tears of joy....I got my car back and found out Jessie is new there. You deserve a shout out man! Thank you so much for your kind words, you put my worries at ease and went above and beyond. I brought in my vehicle with a tire which had a screw in the tire. They quickly assessed the tire and advised me there was no puncture and therefore no need to repair. They remounted the tire, checked the air pressure and sent me on my way. When I asked how much did I owe, they said “no charge”! While I was excited about no charge I was more excited that I feel I have a place of business that I can trust for my tire needs. When I need new tires, I’ll be back!! Thanks!!

I can’t say enough great things about the guys there! I had a little hiccup with my truck that was completely my responsibility to take care of and they fixed me up and took care of it. They could have easily said it was my fault. I will definitely be taking my other cars to them.

Very over priced in my opinion.found a bottle of gas treatment in my cup holder got charged for me hauling off my old tire.never thought a oil change would cost 98$.but I did get good oil.i had a tire leaking air not bad but over a 2 day period would lose about 10 lb of air.asked for it to be repaired was told it couldnt be because it was in the side wall of the tire. just checked it and found no hole in the side wall but did find a screw in the tread of the tire not side wall it is very repairable.? On why I needed a new tire.

Absolute horrible service. Worst experience getting a tire changed in my life. Waited 30 minutes then an Rv with (appointment)shows up and i have to move. Then they proceedto work on his first, even though Blacks tire have no appoontments. Confronted manager and i was cussed out and said If I didnt like the way he ran his shop I could leave. So I did. Go there many times a year but no more.

Had a problem twice with them returning our calls but satisfied when Hanabal took over and got our service work done and new tires for our SUV. Ask for Hanabal when you call.

Always a good experience with pleasant and informative staff. Been coming here for about two years and its always reliable. Expect to wait a while, just as fair warning :)

I was going out of state for the weekend and wanted to get my punctured tire patched before I left, but I had class at JCC an hour later. I called ahead and asked about how long it would take. The lady on the phone was very helpful and said that a lot of cars had all come in at once, so it would take longer than usual. She offered to have someone drive me to campus so I wouldnt be late to my class and pick me up whenever it was finished. They took me in a company truck, dropped me off outside the building and were very friendly and professional through the whole thing. They said they offer this to many college students and do it all the time, but I am nonetheless grateful for it. I think its nice when a company isnt just a company, but they are helpful neighbors to their community.

I have been going to Blacks Tires for a very long time. All the associates are kind, friendly and very courteous of your time. I have been there without an appointment and they fit me in even if they had to stay a little later. They are reliable and honestly priced. There customer service is out of this world and are more like family. I have sent my friends and family there because they honor and stand behind their services.

I stopped by to ask how much it would be for new tires and to get air in my tire because of a slow leak everyone act as if they didnt see me even one person looked directly at me and kept doing whatever he was doing, So I drove to another tire shop and got new tires.you lost a potential new customer and I will never stop there again it was rude and uncalled for.

A few weeks ago my friend and I got a flat tire in a pretty remote area on our way from Richmond, VA to SC. We got the flat around 5pm and frantically started calling the closest tire shops. The first few places we called said they were closing and wouldnt help us and made it clear they could not have cared less. We called Blacks and they were so helpful despite the fact that they were about to close. They even sent someone to come pick us up, remove the flat, take us back to the shop and drive us back out to the car to replace the tire. They went above and beyond and really saved us that day. Thank you so so much! 12/10 would recommend.

Steve and the team at Blacks Tire and Auto Service live and breathe customer service. After my van started shaking ferociously on a family trip 800 miles from home, I fortunately found this shop via a Google search off the side of 95. Thankfully the dozens of other 5 star reviews didnt steer us wrong. Steve took my call, and even though his shop was beyond busy, he talked me through the issue and encouraged us to swing by to look at the vehicle. He was waiting for me as I pulled into the parking lot, ready to assist. With three kids in car seats and another 10 hours of travel ahead of us, Blacks Tire squeezed me in and saved us from a severe blowout on the highway. From the initial phone call to patiently explaining the issue to prioritizing my van due to an emergency, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. To Steve and his crew: thank you!

This place was great. I got off interstate and went to Flying Js who sent me to them. I told them I had a blowout and it damaged my wire to my blinkers. They took me right in and fixed the wire and back light and I was in my way. This place has really nice ppl there. So if you need help give them a call. Do not come here if you want quick service. Took longer to replace my wiper blades than change oil and rotate tires. Treat you fine until they get your keys. Wont be back.

Tire sensors were screaming at me on my camaro dash. They had lost their connection to the car. Less then 10 minutes, Steve had me back connected. Good quick service. Thank you Steve.

A week ago, my car hit a huge pothole and the passenger front tire was bent. Steve went out of his way to make sure my car would be checked right away since I live in Wilson. I have to say the customer service is incredible here and very friendly. I will be coming back to this shop and this shop only when I need something checked on my car.

I went there back in February and I went to another place to get my oil changed and I found out that that blacks tire and auto didn’t replace my air filter keep in mind that I went to blacks tire back in February to get my oil changed but did not know my air filter was not replaced I didn’t have no air filter all this time till I went today to get my oil changed I will no longer go back to blacks tire in Smithfield
