I saw Shannon today. I called in and asked if I needed an appointment....she was more than willing to work me in and said she would love to do my hair. Showed up and they all were kind and courteous and made me feel welcome. Shannon was amazing! Listened to what I wanted and explained what I needed. Took some time but it turned out way beyond my expectations! Never before have I left a salon looking exactly like I imagined it would look like! I highly recommend everyone use this salon as they are all amazing professionals! Thanks so much Shannon for making me feel beautiful.... younger....and amazing!

I again visited Fantastic Sams ... and I walked into the Salon and heard 4 Hello and Welcome to Fantastic Sams it was great ... I had called ahead and set up a time that I would be in for my cut ... and requested Jake a second time ... Jake greeted me and had me take a seat in his chair and took care to apply my protective cover to keep trimmings off clothing ... and then he picked up his scissors ... I asked him about the preference between and longer cutting area or shorter in regarding his scissors ... Jake uses a small cutting style which he started snipping so quickly ... the sound is very distinctive to say the least yet each and every snip was strategically performed ... I recollected a movie of past which was named Edward Scissor Hands Jake had heard of it yet not seen it ... however back to point ... Jakes precise cutting style is unique to say the least ... he leans over slightly to get the perfect vantage of the head and starts cutting and continues till he is finished ... I do not have the stylist use a clipper with a cutting guide ... I prefer to have the cut with the use of hand cutting of old ... Jake quietly just continues to perform ... all you hear is a snip here, snip snip snip as his smaller scissor are masterfully used to create the final cut ... Thank you for allowing Jake to work at your store ... quite the investment to say the least ...

They messed up my undercut so bad. Im so upset, its going to take forever for my hair to grow 😞.

Megan went absolutely above and beyond for me this week when she did a beautiful galaxy color for me. My hair is long and we did so much to it, she had to be exhausted, but she was upbeat and super nice about, even though she ended up staying 2 hours late to finish it for me!Weve been coming here since 2003 and never go anywhere else!

Went in today for a hair trim and a deep conditioning treatment. I’ve been to a few Fantastic Sams locations and received this treatment before, and what I got here was a normal conditioner and not what I paid for. My 1/2 inch hair trim ended up being 2 inches and the older stylist put a product on my bill without me asking, didn’t go into the charges, then gave it to me after I paid. Never returning to this location.

Id been putting off getting my hair cut for over a month. Ive been dealing some depression and anxiety for a while, and quite frankly, I hate people. But I finally mustered up the energy to go today, and the kindness and positivity that my stylist Kerri had was beyond what I ever expected. She knew right off the bat I wasnt okay, and she spent the entire session building me up. Im looking in the mirror right now and for the first time in months, I see someone beautiful and worth something. Thank you, Kerri.All of the stylists here are just phenomenal. Ive been to most of the salons around here and paid way more and always got less. I always leave Shawnees FS happy. These stylists love what they do and you can feel it when you walk in the door.

I have been going to the same location for nearly 15 years or so and I have always been treated extremely well. I started out with Joy for a good many years and was unfortunately saddened when she decided to retire but I wish her well. She made sure that I was taken care of in her absence with Tara. Joy chose well as she has been very capable of taking care of my needs when it comes to color and cut.Over the years, I have gotten to know most of the staff on a first name basis and really like that. Its like I am a part of their family. I also have a cousin that works at another location and a very good friend at another. Once you have come back to the same stylist over time it is amazing how much respect you are given and each stylist always has a smile for each of their clients and take the time to get to know you.I recommend this location for their excellent service.

Peyton did an excellent job on my eyebrows. Will be back again so she can dye my hair.

I use to always request Patricia because she always did an amazing job on my 3yr sons hair cut but since she is no longer there, I will see Peyton. She is super professional and she has such a bubbly personality. She also did a great job on mine and my sons hair recently!

They did a horrible job on kids hair. I dont know how the woman that cut it has her license. I had to take him to Great Clips down the road to have them fix what she did. Luckily she didnt cut it any shorter or we would have had to have his head shaved. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. While we were there, a woman came in because they had messed up her hair color and she was there to have it fixed. I will never step foot in this place ever again.

Horrible service, the lady literally took two minutes to give me my haircut. I had to go get a haircut after said haircut because it was done so carelessly. Zero effort was put into it and she made it seem like in every movement she made she was doing me a favor. Please don’t come here for even an okay haircut it will just be a waste of money.

My husband and son always go there. They always have good cuts. I liked an operator, but she left after a few weeks. I loved the next one but she was there only a few months so I gave up and went to a friends regular shop. In addition, the Fantastic Sams crew did not give me enough advice and let me purchase the wrong products.

The staff is very nice and welcoming I have to admit this.But I do not recommend this place for color services at least not for dark Hispanic hair .Since I consider that they do not know how to work with it .In my case I paid $90 dl to have higlights and the lady who did my hair ruined it leaving my whole hair orange .I wouldnt come back to this place for any service.

I have had 4 different people cut my hair here and have gotten a great cut every time. The place is clean and smells nice compared to most clip joints. I used to loathe going for hair cuts but now i actually enjoy it.

Took my daughter in for a hair cut. Corey took his time with her and was very nice. Id take her back to him for sure.

Stylists are always nice and do a good job but they leave their “no wait, come on in” sign up too much. Three times I’ve had to wait for an extended period of time. A wait is fine but I don’t appreciate the false advertising, especially if I’m in a hurry.

Ive been coming to this location for a while, but after the horrible job this older wan did on my bangs, I will never come back. Didnt wet my hair, didnt lift the bangs away from my face, got frustrated and called her manager when I didnt like the cut. They cut it way too short and its still choppy as hell. Ive literally done a better job cutting my long bangs following a video tutorial while drunk. My confidence is still basically zero because of this bad cut.

Id been going into this shop for over a year. But this time I got up and left after waiting with no acknowledgement of even being there for 40 minutes. I was the only one waiting with 3 stylists in the shop. 2 finished their clients and then started discussing lunch and just went into the back room. Came back out into the shop a couple times and never even said hello, or have you been helped. Never going back here again!

It’s perfect if you are 70 and want a perm. If you are younger I don’t recommend that. That girl ruined my haircut. A 5year old could give you a better haircut

Its a fascinated place to get your haircut or get it styled i love coming to this place i mean the the prices may be a little high like getting a perm is $69.99 but its takes 2 hrs and thats all. But i love going there.

When I was 11 years old, I asked my parents if I could get a buzz cut. 19 years later, I still get the same cut. Its the easiest one possible, yet this place manages to screw it up every time. After my shower, I always notice a bunch of hairs sticking out that make me look like a crazy person, and I have to fix them myself. Im never returning to this location. The discounts arent worth it.

I keep trying to make this salon my place (dont ask me why I keep going back), but each time I end up with a lopsided haircut and have to go back the next day to get it evened up! Again, months have gone by and I decided to give the place another try and went there just a few ago....same thing happened, an uneven hair trim.I suppose its my fault that I dont catch it before I leave the shop, but I sure shouldnt take all the blame as Im not the person cutting hair and dont know profess to know how. I like to trust the person doing the trim.

I used to love this shop but there is an older hair stylist that started about six months ago and I dread going there when she is in. The last time I was in, I paid more than ever and my roots were dyed a different color than the rest of my hair.

My daughter and I called for availability on two difficult hair color requests and were told to come right on in. Even though the salon was busy the whole time we were there, we didnt wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. Both stylists were professional and kind.

I am bias because I always get my hair cut here. They do a nice job with hair for both men and women. If you go on Monday the cost is $11.99. Seniors get discounts of 15% certain days of the weeks.

The first time I went here, I loved it. Great vibe, great people. They spent 5.5 hours on my hair taking it from red to blonde. I know thats hard to do so I tipped well. Today (3 months later), I come in to get a root touch up, since I have about 2 inches of regrowth and im leaving for Florida in 2 days. First off, they close at 8, I came in at about 5:45-6. Which I get is tight timing, but literally all I was getting was my roots bleached. Nobody was doing anything. There were at least 3 ladies just standing around, chatting. I couldve done it in an hour. They had 2. The lady saw i was coming in but dodnt even acknoledge that I was there. Someone had to tell her to greet me. She came up to the counter, with a rude look om her face and said What are you wanting done? I then asked would you have time to do a root touchup? She then immediatly replied nope then proceeded to just stare at me. I said okay thats fine and walked out. Im not upset at the fact I didnt get it dome today, because I get i was really pushing time, i kust didnt appreciate the attitide she had towards me. Youre always supposed to treat customers with respect. I was already having a very crappy day, she didnt help my situation at all. I will not be going back there. And I do not recommend coming here if youre running late, they wont be very kind about it.

The place was busy but they were cranking through people with all their workers.Good attitudes and a clean place made it a pleasant visit.
