SPARKLE!! Dipping powder 5/5 Ms. B. Nguyen was excellent!! $45 for dip on natural nails. Color called “Starship” so beautiful… SO many compliments. Was a walk in, helped immediately. Very gentle, left with all my skin 🖤 Brand new color, took the plastic lid off and the paper was still on. Seems they got a lot of new dipping powder colors since the last time I was here a few years ago, will be going back! Great experience. Request Ms. Nguyen for the best mani, so nice! Still impeccable after 2.5 weeks, no snags, no cracks, so shiny!!! 🥰 Thank you!

Such a shame - use to really enjoy going there. But the last 4 times I have made an appointment I waited well over 30 minutes each time. Then felt like she was rushing through my manicure. Quality was not as good as it use to be. I also live close and asked them to call me if they were running this late. Of course that never happened! If this is how they treat a regular client since they opened. Yikes! Will not be going back, too many other salons that stay on time.

Ive been coming to top M-Nail Salon nails for 2 years their quality of the product that they put on your nails is high quality Ive never had an infection Ive never had my nails to fall off any type of design or nail that they use always last me at least 2 to 3 weeks I keep everything simple even a simple style last me for 2 or 3 months I have no problem with the work that they do because each and every one of them are trained and efficient and feet nails. The assistances they really been nice to me in my time of trauma Ive been through some traumatic situations and they stood by my side I dont go any other place thank you so much for your time and effort to speak about M-Nail Salon

I will start off by saying that I never leave bad reviews because I fully understand the effect that they can have on a business. However, I think this does need to be shared. I have gone to this salon for about three years now. During covid (when they were allowed to be open) I was most often times the only one in there. I religiously went to Amy (who is still amazing) every three weeks. Today, however, I was told when I called that they no longer take appointments. Therefore I drove to the salon to see if I could get in. Upon arrival I was told a two hour wait. I asked if there was a set time I could please come back to make sure I get in. Honestly, I was not treated well at all and I was told maybe in three hours it would be less of a wait.Everyone’s time is valuable, including my own. I am not going to guess when to come in and wait an hour when it took Amy thirty minutes to do my nails. I guess what I am trying to say is that I don’t expect to be treated any differently, but after going there for so long, I would’ve at least expected better customer service or for someone to pretend like they cared. I will no longer be going here which is unfortunate. Hopefully other customers feel more valued then I did, but I highly doubt it because I was a loyal customer and treated very poorly so I can only imagine how they treat the others.

No language barrier! I saw Cindy. She is very kind and personable. The shop is very relaxing. I got an ombre pink and white acrylic set and it looks better than I have ever seen it in person. Cindy took her time and shaped and blended my nails to perfection.

First I want to say I went here for years, literally would drive across town. I called thrusday to schedule my usual time Saturday morning at 10:30am. I was told they no longer do appts just walk -ins. I got there at 10:05 am exactly. when i walked in the lady at the front frowned her face at me and asked what did I need. I said pedicure mind you no one else is in the shop but two people already in the chiar. She looked at her co-worker said something and then responded to me that they have no time for me and asked if I had an appt. I said no I called and was told you no longer do appointments to just walk-ins. She didnt offer the option to wait until done but basically made me leave because they had no time and the shop just opened up. I have never in my life been made to leave a shop and for them to not be accommodating she acted as if she could care less that she was turning down a paying customer and was very rude about it. I will never go back, I still cant believe this happened

Don’t give your money to this business. I went in to have a set removed, and the woman was first asking me what color I wanted painted on. I said just the set removed, and then a different woman in the shop joined the conversation and said “She just wants to make sure you will be able to afford the service, it’s $25.” Do you all make sure everyone can afford the service while your half way through or just the people you think look poor? Also, after she drilled off my acrylic set, she just left my nails looking shredded up. My nails were not filed or shaped after a $25 set removal. Honestly offensive service. Do NOT GO HERE

I went to get a gel mani and pedi. I wanted a neon yellow and I asked if they had any bright colors as it is summer and she told me no. I assumed most nail places have bright neon colors but I guess not. After that she was rude when I wanted a design and didn’t do it correctly so I asked her if she could redo it. She flat out told me she wouldn’t do a design anymore and when I pushed for the fact that I wanted it (as the design was on a neutral color nail so they would be very plain otherwise) she messily slapped it on and told me done. I wanted to just get out of there at that point and left with nails that looked nothing like the picture I showed her and now need to pay to get them redone somewhere else for the wedding I’m supposed to go to this weekend. Will never be back at this place

Before i sat down, I showed the woman a picture and asked if she could do the design and she said yes. When i sat down i had to correct her a few times and she got visibility annoyed and was saying how she was too busy for this design. Throughout the process, you could tell she didnt care and my nails look horrible. Im trying to find someone to fix them. The design is horrible, you can see my nail underneath it, my one nail is longer then the other. I get your busy but the unprofessionalism and blatant rudeness wasnt needed. I understand if you dont have time to do something or isnt your skill but just say that.

This was my first time at this location (in Aspinwall). I received a pedicure prior to a beach trip. It was easy to get an appointment and parking was convenient, which is a huge plus for me. The salon was clean, with friendly staff who did a great job, and reasonably priced ($33). Whatever the scrub is they used smells delicious. I loved their massage chairs too. I will definitely return.

The nail tech was horrible! I got a basic acrylic set. My nails were inconsistently shaped and chunky. She got acrylic all over my nail bed and let it dry. It was painful and made me bleed to take it off when I got home. She kept letting acrylic drip, she did not know what proportion of monomer and powder to use - something very basic. Powder dried into the acrylic making my nails look bumpy after they were painted, I got gel over the tips. When I asked them to redo my nails and that there was acrylic all over me they were extremely rude and still made me pay full price, told me I could get the acrylic off of my skin at home.

This place is great. Affordable and always good quality. I love that they have walk-ins and parking in front. Massage chairs for pedicures, wide range of colors.

I have been to so many nail salons over the years and eventually I just accepted the fact that even though friends had gel manicures that lasted two weeks, mine would chip in three days and need redone within a week. I am not lying when I say this nail salon is MAGICAL. Right now I have had a gel mani for 13 days (see photo) and the tip of only two nails have chipped (other hand - one was because of a zipper). The manicure STILL LOOKS NEW. This place does the BEST gel manicures I have ever had and I will keep going back - seriously. You should go here for sure (make an appointment).

Pretty good experience! Got a mani-pedi and was really relaxing. They also did a pretty good job on the nail art. Would recommend!

Worst place to get your nails done. Even after telling the lady who was working on my nails she couldnt give me the desired shape. Each nail looks different from the other both in shape and size. Never been this disappointed with any place before. This was done 15 mins ago! Just look at the pinky!

Got a pedicure and left with all the dead skin I went in with. No massage barely scrubbed my legs. Then was charged $50. Definitely not worth it.

I’ve been twice and am not planning to go back. The second time I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure and although I definitely appreciate people being efficient, they sped through service so I was done with both in about 15 minutes. And it wasn’t done well either. Not worth the money.

M Nails is the best salon in Shadyside. Very comfortable chairs, clean, and the staff is talented/straight to the point. My dip manicures last about 3-weeks and they have candy. Cindy is the best ask for Cindy!

M Nails in Aspinwall is the best around. Super appreciative of all the hard work they do and friendly service. I won’t go anywhere else in Pittsburgh.

I dropped in this morning, at 10 AM and was able to have a beautiful gel manicure. Jennifer was absolutely wonderful, my nails are spectacular, I thought all the girls were very nice and competent. The salon itself is gorgeous, beautiful white leather pedicure chairs. All in all I highly recommend them and the price was quite fair :-)

I love this Nail salon. Would definitely be coming again next time in Pittsburgh. The staff is nice and funny. My nails came out marvelous. The place is cold, which is great! Very clean and a beautiful setup. Decor is adorable. Plenty of choices to choose from. All staff is very interactive with you as they talk, joke and laugh along with you! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a good Mani pedi. Did I mention the affordability? Cheap, yet great! Cant wait till my next appointment!

Want a pedicure and gel manicure in 45 minutes? Go to M Nails in Aspinwall. You’ll get spotty /clumpy results, your cuticles ripped off, and barely allowed to keep your hand in the uv lamp to dry but they’ll rush you in and out as quickly as possible. I’ve been going here for awhile. Some of the time it’s great most of the time it’s disappointing. I have bump and fuzz in my polish and feel like if you have an appointment you shouldn’t feel as though you’ve been squeezed in.

Worst manicure I have probably ever gotten, very rushed and poor quality. Went here with my friend, her manicure was equally bad especially with the lack of attention to her cuticles. The Pedi was okay and they were able get us both in quick.We were also together and for our manicures they seated us at opposite sides of the room even though there were plenty of space is available for us to sit together. Super annoying.

I adore this salon. My gel nails last 2-3 weeks every time I get them done here. The staff is extremely sweet. I’ll never forget the time that I went after they were closed but they still did my nails. Even though I moved from Shadyside, I still go here because of the superb service.

I walked in tonight at 6:40pm and asked if they had time to do a Pedicure. They happily sat me even thought they close at 7:00 pm. The woman who did my nails was so kind and still took her time, even though she could have rushed through it. I will 100% be back!

My friend and I both got pedicures at the same time and then a week later both of our toes were infected! Mine were swollen and pus came out, and my friend had to go to student health at Pitt to get them checked out and was put on an antibiotic. I would NOT go back. They did a fine job on my nails, but the tools or the tubs for the foot soak were clearly not cleaned well enough.

Sad. $50 for a 20 minute pedicure. So bad

I got my nails done and they were very expensive for just a full set with regular polish but they looked very nice so it didn’t matter. A week later three of my nails started to pull up and all three fell off. I was very annoyed Bc that just doesn’t happen unless the nail tech messed up. I called back to complain and they schedule an appointment for me to come in and fix them. The day of my appointment I called and they said they had no appointment for me and so I just gave up. I was very annoyed with the way they handled it because I was trying to be nice and they were just no help with THEIR mistake. I think this is one of the worst salons I’ve been to in a while I get my nails done often. Not trying to be rude or disrespectful but it’s very annoying when the nails that you’ve paid money for don’t even last more than a week.

I have been a walk-in customer about twice a month for the past six years, but made an appointment this time for my daughter’s 3rd birthday - she really wanted a real, first mani-pedi for her birthday today. So I called and booked a double appt for the two of us. Walked in today five minutes before the prescribed time, and no one would tell me whether they had record of my appointment or not - only that it would be over an hour and a half to wait, and “we probably won’t be able to get to you at all.” No apology, no explanation about what happened, no attempt to figure out a solution - I would have been happy to just have her nails painted, which wouldn’t have taken more than 5-10 minutes. They just told me “no” when I mentioned that we were here for our appointment and proceeded to ignore me from there on out. So angry and disappointed. I really loved this salon, but the total disregard for my kiddo’s birthday and a scheduled appointment has earned some other area salon my bi-monthly business.

The staff at M-nail salon was great! I came from out of town; they took me as a walk-in, were clean, talked to be about the city and recommended good places to visit.Very neat work and fair pricing.

I recently received a manicure and pedicure from this salon. Although the work itself was standard, the customer service was poor. Upon entry, the nail technician servicing me did not bother to tell me her name nor smile. Furthermore, upon working upon my feet, she proceeded to tell me that my toes were twisted and that my feet were difficult to work upon. Following the pedicure the technician worked upon my hands, to which I decided to pay before the manicure began. I paid in cash, and allowed her to keep the full $50 as opposed to $48, the cost of a mani-pedi at this salon, which would then include her tip. She did not even bother to thank me for giving her a tip, nor even smile. When she was working upon my manicure, and I gently and politely asked her for a particular nail shape, she rudely told me how a particular shape could not be done. Upon completion of the service, she did not thank me for my time.Not only did the nail technician I worked with have a poor attitude, the other nail technicians also were indifferent, as if we, the customers, were doing them a favor by patronizing their business. Upon leaving, I was generally ignored, and during my time there, no one smiled or barely acknowledged me. Given other nail salons exist in the immediate area, I will not be visiting this establishment again and I regret my decision to patronize this business.

The people who work there are SO friendly and do a PHENOMINAL job on your nails. Ive been a few times now and I think they are very well priced. Also fast! I wouldnt go anywhere else in Shadyside for nails. (I get full sets and fill ins)

I always come to this salon when Im on walnut. Although its more expensive than other places, service was very good and I like the fact that I could speak English and get understood. Today was different I had to pay over 80$ more mani and pedi and it was the worst experience. My nail tech was the elder lady not that it matters but girls are much better. It felt rushed, she was constantly pre occupied checking outside this and that. Im on my way to another salon to get my under nails cleaned. Because 80$ didnt get me that. They just lost a customer
