By far one of my favorite climbing gyms Ive ever been too! We make it a point to come and climb here, everytime we are in Arkansas. The staff are super friendly, the community is super supportive, and the routes/boulders are really well set and they offer just the right amount of challenge, without being way off the grade like a lot of other gyms. Weve also took the lead climbing clinic here, and it was very well done, the trainer was very knowledgeable, and it was over all, a really good experience. I highly recommend this gym to ANYONE and EVERYONE! Weather your just getting started, or youre a seasoned climber, theres something for everyone!!!

Do not no where to begin, this gym is all around great! Everyone from the staff to the climbers (new and old) are kind and inviting. New comers get a thorough orientation and never feel out of place. The gym itself has a different challenges for each skill level. Also, the routes are CONSTANTLY changing which that makes coming in each time that more exciting. The owner, Jerry, also operates outdoor climbing in Fern. If youre interested in taking on the next level, this place can get you there! I also love that they have different types of packages right now, promos, student discounts, punch cards, etc. I know I sound like a sales person...but no, I just really appreciate a how great of a business they run. Free weights, gym are too. OH, and the cleanest most chic bathrooms in all of Fort Smith (and maybe Arkansas)

I love this climbing gym! The staff are knowledgeable, super helpful, and friendly. The boulder problems and routes are always fun and challenging, helping one push to that next level. My climbing skills have improved a ton since coming here. This gym is great for all skill levels and ages. I would recommend to anyone for a fun fitness experience!

Great place to climb with a friendly staff who are very knowledgeable and encouraging. Just got into town and joined gym and they have made me feel very welcome.The grades on routes reflect the outdoor climbing scale which is more difficult but definitely pushes you to improve. Excited to continue improving at this gym and will be back regularly.

Awesome new climbing gym. It has bouldering, lead climbing, top rope, and 4 auto belays. You can purchase a day pass for about $20 with gear or get a monthly membership for about $50 per month. Great fun for the whole family!

Great variety of well thought out routes. There are dozens of cool routes and problems.

This is not a place for real climbers or people wanting to actually Boulder. The routers don’t seem to know how to set the routes or grade them. Myself and my friend have been bouldering for over a year now and had difficulty with the “beginner” routes so if you are just beginning, I don’t recommend going. I wouldn’t recommend going regardless. Also, face masks are not enforced while on the wall which is unsafe and unsanitary as people are breathing on the walls. Fine place for kids and families wanting to climb around on the walls for fun, but not for those wanting to actually Boulder. The walls are all painted and have no grip, so smearing, an important part of bouldering, is impossible on the slippery walls. Lastly, they don’t allow loose chalk, but allow no masks? Not going back.

Great climbing gym, really nice owners. Ive been going since they first opened, and they change the routes quite regularly. Some nice challenges in there too. They also offer classes in lead climbing and belaying every Wednesday night!

I love this place! The staff is very friendly and helpful and you can tell they have a passion for rock climbing. Im comfortable going there with a climbing partner or alone. So much more fun than a regular gym!

Love Vertical Horizons! The staff and family that owns VH are so nice.. they always speak and are interested in you. They’re always willing to help and answer any climbing questions. It’s a great place. I’m so glad Fort smith has a climbing gym!
