You should expect to wait 20 or 30 minutes possibly more past the time the app tells you to show up. You should expect the stylist to skip over you for people that show up or had appointments after you. Ive been going here a long time. However, the last few times I have been here I have had the same experience. I will not return. This last time happened Tuesday night June 1st. I checked in at 4:20. The app told me to he there at 5:40, which i did. I gave up at 6:20 after several people were called before me that showed up after me. The waiting board showed me is being on Deck yet twice the hairdressers chose someone else whos time said 5 minutes or larger over me. This place needs to fix their app and waiting board or train their hair stylists better in the use of it.

Well, we chose a stylist we havent used before bc we forgot the name of our favorite! Tracy did a great job and my 10 year old son loved it bc she asked HIM (instead of the one paying the bill) if hed like to have a VIP treatment...I looked over and saw him getting a massage and my masked jaw dropped. Great haircut! Very pleased but the add-on was unexpected.

Sue is very knowledgeable and experienced in cutting my hair. Very professional experience and will return when needing another one in the future.

Awesome experience here. The young lady with the red hair was my stylist, so I can only speak for her work. She took her time, but wasnt slow, asked me questions, listened when i explained what i prefer. Even made last minute changes for me. The conversation alone was worth the charge. Ok so I went to sue a while back and then told her I wanted a trim on the side and she totally messed up my hair and now I’m embarrassed to go to school I got bullied and this kid gave me a swirly and I am so mad at sue

I can’t understand why they keep Sue there. She gives bad haircuts and then argues with customers about it. I finally stopped going there.

Sitting in the waiting room watching 3 employees running around and seeing the wait board now up to 13 people…I’m now 20 min passed my scheduled appointment. Doubtful I’ll ever come back here.

I went for an easy haircut and Sue messed it up so bad I almost asked her just to shave my head because it looked that bad. She took about 5 minutes on the haircut and nothing was even at all. I wish there was an option for zero stars because this place didn’t even deserve one star.

Sport Clips is the best place to go if you want more than just a wonderful haircut, you can get wonderfully pampered and take in a wonderful massage and shampoo and enjoy the rest of your experience with a hand held massager for your back,neck and shoulders and my treatment was free so I got a wonderful stylist and an awesome and amazing experience at the K7 and Shawnee Mission Parkway Sport Clips, stupendous and wonderful staff

First time cut from here as I am new to the area. Wait was 20 minutes (not bad for a weekend). Alyssa did a fantastic job! I was not good at explaining what I was looking for at all. She took her time to ask questions and style my hair to make sure I got what I wanted.

Twice now Ive gone to this location early to wait in line to get my haircut. Despite the fact that I am waiting there patiently and the stylists know that I am waiting, other people invariably enter the store early and they allow them to cut in line.

Friendly staff and the the facility is always very clean! They have new rules set in place to protect customers from COVID-19. Check-in using the Sport Clip app and this will keep you from standing around outside waiting.

First visit was okay, though haircuts are on upper end of price range. Second time there was a problem with their computer scheduling making my commute for nothing. User interface on website is poorly done and time estimates are inaccurate.

The haircut was great no dig on the stylists. The reason I have an issue is that the manager asked me to take my feet off of the chair in front of me and then proceeded to joke around with the person sitting right next to me who also had his feet on the chair. She didnt ask him to take his feet down and walked away. I felt very ostracized by this and not very welcomed..

I have always come to this location and have mostly been satisfied with the service and haircut I received. Today when I went it the stylist I had, Tiffany spent more time talking about her kids, car troubles, and other stuff that no one wants to know than she did asking how I’d like my hair cut. She didn’t even ask me how I wanted it and when I asked her to change something she didn’t ask how or much. Left right in the middle of my hair cut to talk to a co worker about covering a shift. Very annoying and didn’t seem interested at cutting hair what so ever. Very unhappy with this visit

The only reason I go anywhere for a haircut is because I cant do it myself. I dont have the skill or the equipment to do it myself. It takes a clippers at 5 all over my head. My usual place charges me 7 dollars which is too much anyway, but when they were closed, I decided to check out Sports Clips. Not only did they try to convince me of the value of what I was getting with the MVP Treatment, but I was not given a choice. I had to pay 12 dollars for a haircut that was no more than the basics of cutting hair with the pretense of TVs and ambience.I will not be returning to Sport Clips and I will be telling people the woes of my experience, convincing them to boycott the horror of my time there.

I wish zero stars were an option. Sue is an absolute butcher disguised as a stylist. She will not listen to what the client wants and does whatever she pleases. Spoke to the Manager Megan about her and all she says is we’ll talk to her. Owner will not return phone calls either. Be very weary of this location!!Just an update finally spoke to owner Wayne Freeman and he could care less that one of stylists provides this kind of service, very arrogant and smug. Totally does not respect or care how customers are treated.

I have been going to this location since they opened but had a horrible experience with their new manager. She is unprofessional and immature. This is Very unfortunate and would not recommend this location anymore. Lots of other places to get haircuts so I wish customer service was more important to them.

My teenage son has had a haircut at this location before and was completley happy with the haircut he recieved from Alexus. We went back last night and she wasnt working and he recieved a haircut from Tracey. Tracey did an awful job. He showed her a picture of the exact haircut that he wanted and she did a poor job of cutting it. It is extremley uneven and there are little hairts sticking up everywhere. He told her that he wanted his hair thinned and she gave him a speech of why she wasnt going to do it. She asked him several questioins about what he wanted and she told him well I would do it this way, and cut his hair the way she wanted. My son will have to go to another hair salon to try and fix it. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism, talent and customer service he recieved!

Knowledgable staff and stylists that take the time to make each haircut count. Not typical of many chains. Normally two to three stylists available and wait times are reasonable. The benefit of a hot towel and massage make the price a value IMO. $18 for a haircut at a Great Clips or Sams, or $30 for a real haircut plus hot towel and short massage. Standard hours all days of the week.

Usually pretty good although they seriously need to manage their staffing model better. Waiting an hour with only two people working is a waste of time.

This place is the next best thing to a barber shop. Thats the only reason why it didnt get five stars.

P sue absolutely is horrible at following directions. You ask for a trim and she completely disregards what you say and makes you look like a joke. She is known at our school for ruining people’s lives. Fire her at once.
