I’ve been getting my hair cut by Rex for over 20 plus years. I highly recommend Rosevelt Barbershop if you want a high quality hair cut in a welcoming positive energy atmosphere. I always love leaving that place feeling good. Having a high quality hair cut makes me feel like a million bucks.
Justin always gives a good cut! make sure to check the place out if youre new to the area
Great cut with reasonable price
Rex is a pro! He always gives great cuts, whether its fades, longer hair, or beards.
Great barbers. I would not go anywhere else.
Im happy with my haircut from Justin. He was thoughtful and detail oriented, and pointed out things about my hair that I didnt know before. Great job!
Great fades at an affordable price! Can always count on Justin for getting me in and keeping me fresh!
Just had my hair cut with Justin. Aaaaannnnd its probably the best cut Ive received for as long as I can remember. Justin is really professional in hisbpersonality and at his craft. I recommend him 100%.
Visited the place via walk-in and had a regular mens haircut, 35 dollars (a little surprised compared to my earlier experience). The barber did a decent job, and the overall looking of the result is nice, but I dont know why they dont do cleaning/vacuum here, so I was wearing a full head of trimmed hair when paying, and had to get back home and take a quick shower. Hard to imagine what if people had haircut here in the morning, or before work. Or had I just got a discriminated/incomplete service because I didnt make the appointment?
Justin hooked me up with the perfect cut for my big day. Nice place, good area, right price, and a perfect cut, fade, style and beard trim.
Super nice and friendly barbers. Do a great job!
Got a haircut from Justin, and he was great! Very accommodating. The place was clean and he followed social distancing rules well.
My fiance and I love this place and recommend Ricky to all our friends! The location is easy to get to, clean and well lit; all the guys are friendly and create a great environment. I love going to Ricky because he is very talented and willing to try new things to get the result youre looking for. I cant wait to stop in again tonight for a haircut!
Quality cuts, quality service, quality people
Pretty chill place, 35$ gets a good cut. It was very relaxed
Sure, this is a good old-fashioned barber shop and the guys have character. But it cost $25 and honestly I got a much better haircut for $16 at great clips. The barber didnt even look at my bangs from the front while cutting them, and now one side is longer than the other and it is very jagged.Im only giving such a low rating because this place has 4.9 stars and I really dont think they deserve it.If you are more interested in listening to loud guys argue about sports than getting a good haircut, this is the place for you.
Youll love it! The friendly banter and chatter between stylists and customers creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I felt at home the moment I stepped through the door into the clean and brightly lit room. Im proud to support local business in Seattle. The price is cheap: $25+$5tip. $30/Every other month; considering that I spend $15/month on cable tv, which I never use. I didnt need an appointment at 6:30pm on a Tuesday; I walked in and was seen instantly. They are open until 8pm.
Been here a couple times, once I got lucky, walked in and got a nice haircut. The next I was told I had to make an appointment, which Im not used to for a haircut. Decided to do so, asked for an early appt, and showed up right when I was supposed to at 8:30 am, and no one is there. Knocked and waited, but nothing. If you require appointments, you damn well better be there. Ill take my business down the street.
I’ve been all over the country to stop in barber shops, I get a head shave and face shave weekly. Love to pop in to random barbershops when visiting a city and support the local small businesses. I have to say this was the worst experience I’d ever had. There were 3 barbers working, and 2 of them seemed to be very good, but unfortunately my brother in law and I got stuck with the one that wasn’t. It started with me calling for an appointment the day before, I had asked for us both to get a haircut/shave at 1:30 and the person answering the phone was a barber and said he’d get us in for 2 haircuts at 1:30. We show up at 1:25 and the barber we spoke to didn’t show up until 1:40 and then informed us that he just decided to book us back to back (I had explained we had a time crunch on the phone) so he could do both cuts. He proceeded to drag the clippers across my head and face so hard that I have cuts and razor burn all over my head and face now. I had told him I get shaves done weekly so I know what to expect, and he kept telling me that I had no idea what to expect and that if his way was hurting me then it means others weren’t doing it right. He actually cut a piece of a small mole off of my sideburn (literally has never happened before, not even with a razor) and I was bleeding pretty heavily down my face. I passed on getting the straight razor shave because the clipper session was so bizarre/painful. My brother in law has been growing his hair out for a while and needed a trim, so he tells this guy what he wants done and his exact response was, “you have what you want done, and I want to do it a different way, so I’m just going to do it my way”. He completely ignored what type of haircut he requested and then repeatedly made jokes about being aroused while cutting his hair. Besides giving the most painful head and face shave I’ve ever received, he made us feel very uncomfortable throughout the entire experience. I went to pay for the services and he didn’t even offer me change, just assumed I was giving him a 30% tip and went to hug me and walked away. And then, literally 30 seconds later, he came up to me asked me if I could pay him for the services, he had completely forgotten that I had just paid him 30 seconds prior. Made for a great story to tell our families, but not a great barbershop experience. I’m sorry to pass judgement on a place because of one barber, because the other barbers there seemed legit, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy just because of the chance of getting this guy (I’m sorry I can’t remember his name, I chose to block it out of my head).
Didnt really pay attention to my hair. They were too involved in conversation with one another and my hair came out uneven. Atmosphere is good if you like sports and loud conversation, but the hair cut was sub-par
This place is a barbershop in the truest sense of the word. One of those places where you can go, get your haircut, talk about sports or whats going on in the community or just what places you like to eat. They have about 4 barbers working at any given time. They cut all types of hair and kids are welcome. One thing that really sets tbis babrbershop apart is that there are televisions all around the shop so its easy to watch televison while you get your haircut. There is a bathroom available for use as well. Appointments are highly recommended.
I have gone to The Roosevelt Barbershop for the last three years, and have been lucky to work with Matt Robinson. Matt always make sure to leave no stray hairs and a clean line-up. My haircuts are always what I ask for, plus more. Thank you Roosevelt and Matt!
Came in and didn’t know what to do with my hair, Justin ran some ideas by me, and my cut turned out great! Will be back, professional and friendly!
Go see Justin bc hes top notch! 💯💯💯
Nice, old-fashioned barbershop. fine if you live nearby and all you need is same-old, same-old boring haircut like everyone else and dont mind the bro-tastic atmosphere and slightly overpriced basic haircuts
Used to go here before i moved out of the states and a friend wanted a place to get a good cut so i was looking for it online and saw these negative reviews..to the fellow that said he can get a better cut at great clips all i can say is LMAO.. ur on drugs and dont know anything about getting a good haircut..to the guy that is sad about them raggin on the people that didnt make an appt and tried to walk in...this is a busy barbershop and yes they will make fun of anyone trying to get a cut without calling first..as will ANY barbershop..and yes talking loud making jokes and talking about sports is what a barbershop is all about...and a good haircut takes 45 min on the minimum so stop crying like pubescent girls and realize where you are walking into...
Rex has been my man for over 10 years, so he must be doing something right.
Great hot shave from Ricky.
Go to Justin for any type of cut.
Heather is the best!
