I got my first haircut and shave since COVID started and after waiting a year and a half, it was worth coming here. Lacey did an amazing job, making me feel like a whole new person. Definitely excited to come back here for my next haircut

I wont mention her name, but my barber(!?) frankly refused to complete my hair cut as I had asked for and shown a picture of at the start. The final result was a dogs dinner, I now have to go to my regular guy to see if he can fix it. She didnt seem to have the time or inclination to do a good job. Im going to show up to my date tonight as Frankensteins monster...

For the past year or so Ive been coming here every two weeks to get my haircut from Casey. The cuts were always really good and I always thought I got a great value for my dollar. And after my stylist from Headline Salon (Mandy) left a couple of years back it too me a long time to find a new stylist.Then I got a call today that Casey is no longer with Roosters. Time to find a new stylist...

Ive been to dozens of barbers and several States And this is one of my favorites they dont just cut hair they are actual barbers

Lacey cuts my hair. Does a fantastic job each time. She keeps notes on what we did the time before so I don’t need to explain it each time and always asks if we are doing the same cut or if we want to switch it up. 10/10 - highly recommend!

I came in with a simple request to do a medium fade. The stylist was more concerned with doing a quick job while I am holding the mask, rather than cutting a straight line. Ended up with a disaster and had to have it redone.Would recommend to send the barbers back to school.

A friend recommended this place to me last year and I have been coming back ever since. Classy place, with coffee and beer free of charge. Obviously the haircut will depend on the stylist, but Ive had good experiences with 3 different stylists.

They do a pretty nice job and parking is pretty easy.

What I like about Rooster’s is that the last two or three times I’ve been there the stylists have used the notes from my first-ever stylist to cut my hair in almost exactly the same way. That attention to detail and the appointed time justify the cost. It’s pricey but it’s worth it just to know your getting something you like reliably and efficiently.My most recent experience was just terrible. I arrive for my appointment at 7 PM. I’m told that they are running 15 minutes behind. I’m finally seen a few minutes past 7:30 PM. I figure it’s one of those nights maybe someone had an emergency and couldn’t come in and now they’re short-staffed. I sit in the chair and the stylist asks me how I want my hair cut. I assume he’s taken a look at the notes but wants to make sure nothing has changed. I tell him what I’ve told every stylist for the last 4 years (in 3 states): a low fade that goes from 0 at the bottom up to a 1 on the sides and a trim on the top. The haircut I got was a buzz cut; a 1 all around the sides. Top was fine.For $54 ($45 + $9 tip) being seen by appointment (why bother with an appointment otherwise?) and getting nearly the same haircut across stylists justifies the premium.On the other hand, if I’m going to wait around for over 30 minutes and then get an average buzz cut. I’d rather pay barber shop market rate $30 - $35.In this instance, I lost time and money. Very disappointed by this latest experience at Rooster’s Green Lake.

They only provide a good beard trim if you pay twice the listed price. Bait and switch anyone?I stayed with the basic price, and left with an asymmetrical beard that still requires trimming with an actual blade.

Great place! Feel lucky to have discovered Casey after transferring right here from out of kingdom. Hes been doing a high-quality task assisting me deal with my unruly hair and hair-related neuroses and is the first stylist to virtually give an explanation for his strategies and procedure. All the personnel are friendly and useful and the rewards application is a pleasing touch too.

I have been coming to this place for my haircut for the past 3 months. Tried 2 hair stylists and felt comfortable with one of them. The place is nice and clean and offers complementary drinks and free shave for your birthday.The reason for a one star review however is not their haircut, but their scheduling. I had scheduling glitches here twice before. I am a business owner myself and totally understand that mistakes can happen. I always appreciate my clients understanding in these occasions and try hard to make it up to them however I can. But the third time at Roosters was the charm. I made the appointment few days in advance for Last business day of the year (Friday, December 29) and moved few work related stuff to make it here in time just to realize that Im not on the schedule. Zack at the front desk expressed his apology and stated that there is nothing he can do about it. (Not even parking validation!) I left the shop very very disappointed and will not be going back. If it has happened to me three times, there is certainly a systematic error with the scheduling here.

Do not choose Michael he is hurting the business. Basically argues with me over a single vocabulary even he understands me. Also very rude and unprofessional. He moved my head like it was a stone. Not gentle at all. Overpriced $40 and got a bad experience. Didn’t want to stay there for more than 1 second. Worst haircut I’ve ever had. Don’t recommend this place at all. Again. AVOID MICHAEL. I don’t think he deserves 5 star reviews given his arrogant attitude. The boss is just protecting him.

Just a horrible experience. I don’t usually review places even more so leave negative marks. I was given pretty much a buzz haircut with a mild, just a mild trim on top. My hair dresser was Michael. I’m not sure how many haircuts he has given but his hands were literally shaking. I felt so uncomfortable in the chair I just wanted this nightmare to end to I could escape this place. Who cares about a complimentary so called beer or drink?! I just want someone with steady hands to cut my hair.

Fantastic Steam shave, high quality hair cut, comfortable setting with very nice staff cold beer or sodas or coffee. Good knowledge about shaving products and hair products. I only give 4 stars because it is on the pricey side and they just raised their prices. This is a pricey haircut but you are paying for the Extra Service and Creature Comforts.

I have never been more pleased with my haircut in my life. Lea, my stylist, not only has a natural talent, but between the conversation, professionalism, and detail that was taken on the mess I brought her made me wish she was on my staff. I will follow this master of clipper and shear anywhere she goes. Absolute perfection.

I think a great compliment is that I didnt want to write a review with fear that Lilly would be too busy to see me.I have been visiting this GL location since they have been open a few years ago. I really enjoy the experience each time Im there. Staff is friendly and welcoming.I have seen several of their stylist but Lilly has been my go to for a couple years now. She is very timely and consistent, and creates a very enjoyable experience every single cut. She has even helped me with my beard, and occasionally, I have tried a fascial session - it was awesome. I highly recommend.I have seen comments about the price. I can say I am happy to pay for the service, consistency, and overall experience I get each time I visit Lilly and the team. Thank you Zack for being flexible with my scheduling and always offering a drink.

High end mens cuts not your kids barbershop, definitely classy and worth the price! Get the gentlemans choice hair cut and shave together to save a few bucks... Very relaxing.

Total Ripoff. Very sneaky in the way they decide on their own to do additional treatments making it feel like included in the price you discussed before. They dont consult with you neither tell you how much it will be. When you are done they try to charge you for it. Watch out and dont accept any suggestion without asking clearly how much it will be or you will have a surprise.

Amazing place, free beer and coffee was a huge plus and the level of service was outstanding. The hot towel, shampoo, scalp massage almost had me falling asleep In the chair it was so relaxing. I will be returning for my future cuts and trims. Would recommend it to any of my friends and family.

Not good, if youre getting a fade go anywhere else. Asked for a 0-1.5 on the sides and now have 3 distinct lengths 0,1,1.5 that are not even at all. Asked for a trim on top and now the hair on the back top of my head is longer than the hair on the middle top... To finish it off, for $42 for a haircut I had hoped they would straight razor my neck like most barbershops half the cost do. Instead I got a used old Gilette razor shave and scratches all not the back of my neck. For $42 this is a screaming deal. Save yourself the $$ and go to squire in downtown for much less, use the extra $10 for the uber.

I walked in with 5-6 inch long curly hair and told her not to cut more than half off the top and fade in the sides and back. Dont take more than half off the top, leave it curly, were my exact words.She buzzed the sides and back with clippers then cut the top so short I cant distinguish it from the sides. Did it all with me turned away from the mirror so I didnt even see it coming. She turned me around to look and my heart sank. She didnt even fade in the sides but left a longer transition between the sides and the top of my head which I had to point out for correction. When I got home later I had to trim several spots that she missed right on the front of my head.They charged me for a scissors cut at $42, for an awful and rushed haircut I could have done myself with my clippers in 5 minutes. I dont even look the same anymore and my friends and coworkers are all making comments I dont appreciate.

OK haircut but will not be back. Trying to make themselves out to be classier with coffee and beer and hot towels but there was no receptionist whatsoever. This meant no one talked to me even though I got there on time and it was 20 minutes past my appointment time before the stylist was done with the previous client.Also due to no receptionist the stylists trade off answering the phones, taking walk-ins / questions at the desk, etc. this meant my haircut was interrupted no less than 5 times while my stylist went to do Admin work. In the end a cut that should have been in and out in no more than 30 min took almost 90 min as I started so late and she was in and out doing Admin work so many times. I still had to pay for parking even with the validation as it took so long too.

While the Barbers are in and out of this location fairly often, I have always gotten a good haircut here. You get a drink when you walk in and their shampoo and shave are very relaxing.

Good haircut, very friendly staff, super accommodating, offered free drinks while waiting and had baseball on in the sitting area. Felt really welcome. And they do trims for free if you get your hair cut there.

Great service, great shave and cut. Complimentary beverage while you wait.

My first ever visit to Roosters ended with several bleeding cuts on my face from an individual who had no business handling a straight razor leaving me looking worse than when I walked in there. Worst haircut experience ever.

This place is legit. It is on par, and fathoms above other Barber shops Ive been to. Maurice was great, that guy is top notch, he knows his trade well.

Its good can get expensive however it is worth it if their not in a rush but still really cant complaint really good to get a shave and cut for $65 plus I usually tip $10 so $75 total is worth it for a nice clean shave and professional hair cut
