My RV broke down and was blocking one lane of the street, while I have a towing plan, that company was unable to arrange a tow for me, so Sandbergs Towing was called for me, Mr. Sandberg himself came out with a huge red tow truck and promptly and professionally towed my RV to a shop for repairs. The service was absolutely first rate. I would recommend Sandbergs Towing and Recovery for all your towing needs. Thank you Mr. Sandberg, you were a lifesaver.

DO NOT GO HERE. my grandmothers boyfriend was in a horrible crash and his car was towed here. between the time it was towed and we got there, they tried to steal his phone and change the email that was in the car. When called out his phone somehow magically ended up plugged in sitting on the passenger side. The wallet has no ID, no debit cards, and no cash. When police got involved, the place was super rude when i came to retrieve his stuff that we had to get out of the car ourself. They need to be reported and every single one of them needs to lose their job.

Sandberg’s is always very reliable and they do quality work. I have used them for years for towing and auto repairs. I know I will always get an honest diagnosis on repairs and the job will be well done. Great, personal customer service.

This is by far the least professional tow company I have ever dealt with. They are rude. They will lie, they will steal. They are anything but professional. I am horribly disappointed as I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but there are just too many things that showcase how they are the truly the worst type of company to do business with. Also, take all valuables out of your car. I promise you, they do steal.

Got paid big money to cross the picket line to transport steel to my machine. Skilled labor isnt cheep, cheep labor isnt skilled. Seems like greens towing has skilled labor call them.

I couldnt have been more pleased with this company!!! Chris was Super nice and very very helpful, we were from out of state stranded on the side of the highway he picked us up looked at our truck on a Sunday advised us what had to be done and then took us to 3 hotels to make sure that we were good for the night and then had our car done by 1030 in the morning and picked us up and got us back on the highway. I would recommend this company to anyone. Plus the prices were well priced as well. Thanks again Chris!!

If I could give a zero I would. Over priced for services. Most of them are rude and disrespectful. They cross picket lines. They want to be a positive part of the community but yet they are helping a company that is hurting the community. Union or not, you should help support your fellow members of a community.

When my car got impounded and went to this place sandburgs they rearranged all of my fuses putting them in the wrong place so the cars brain would malfunction nice try guys but I found it they were turned upside down and everything it would just no order totally mixed up reminds me of old Fred at Ernies shell

I have known Chris personally for years now through our community of valpo, and would like to say, shame on anyone who downs this family ran company! I am not only able to trust these brothers, and all the staff with my cars, but know without a doubt what kind great family people they all are. I am always able to rely on them at any time day or night, without any judgments too! They are fast and efficient. Have used Sandbergs a number times for towing and repair. Folks are always nice and are reasonably priced. Would recommend their service to anyone.

We broke down last Friday on the Indiana Toll road and called Sandbergs Towing. Bob, the driver, was awesome. He made sure we got into the truck with no problems and he dropped us off at our daughters in Valparaiso, and also helped us to unload our van that had broken down. The next day Bob dropped our van off at the dealership and called us to tell us he was dropping it off, and made sure we had all of the phone numbers we needed. I have told others about Sandbergs, and if I ever need help on the road again, they will be the first ones I will call. Good old fashioned customer service. Awesome service!!!

In the past 3 weeks Ive blown 2 tires. Sandbergs towing was there within 20-30 mins got me off the road and repaired the tires so I was back to work on time the next morning. Best prices for quality service.

They towed my car because I was “illegally parked in the downtown Valparaiso comercial district by the Old style inn. I’m from Minnesota but was visiting my distant girlfriend that lives in an upstairs apartment for the 4th time. The next Morning we woke up and my Volvo was gone. I got a call on my phone telling me to claim my vehicle or the price would be doubled? I headed down there and it was booted and towed for illegal parking? Ridiculous. Ridiculous city and rules, can’t wait till my gf moves.

Took change out of my car as well as everything I had in my lockbox. Shady shady shady. Sad that the owner had to give himself a 5 star review after the plethora of terrible ones. Guess everyone needs to pat themselves on the back sometimes. Hope Sandbergs shuts down.

One of their drivers stole an mp3 player out of my car after towing it and the other employees refused to give me his name or be even remotely helpful in getting to the bottom of the situation. All this on top of being extremely rude from start to finish. NEVER use Sandbergs.

Very expensive, I realize that it is expensive to run this kind of business, but my son had an accident 5 miles from the shop, and they charged us 335.00 They did use the winch, I just think we were taken advantage of, We live an hour and a half away, and really didnt have a choice, I am a business owner myself, and i get they have bills, but so do I! Our insurance also said they have never heard of paying that much for that distance. Guess they would be good if your desperate, or call around, and dont just take whomever the police call, Lesson learned!!

My fiances got her car stuck headed north on N 250 W. she was stopped behind a vehicle who was stuck in the snow at the stop sign on N 250 W and Joliet. she got stuck and slid back down the hill. someone tried to stop and help her and even they could not get her car up the hill. she was stuck in between the 2 hills. so they gave her a ride to work. she left her car as far off the road as she could but could not get it off the road completely without blocking someones driveway. she left her car there at 520am. came back 5 hrs later at 1020 after getting off work to find her car was gone. her store manager called the police to see if it was towed and yes a plow truck driver called it in as an abandoned vehicle so the porter county sheriffs had it towed. sandbergs towing picked it up from the location and towed it 2.5 miles to their shop. told her it would be 185 for the tow. we showed up at their shop a few hours after they towed it to pay and pick it up and they said we couldnt because it was impounded by the porter county sheriffs and we need the release form from them. only problem their off is closed on Saturdays so sandbergs towing said we had to get it Monday. showed up to the sheriffs office and they said they didnt have a hold on it. it wasnt impounded but gave us a release form. we showed up to sandbergs and expecting to pay 185 but was told we owed them 290. 160 for the 2.5 mile tow, 25 for a window cover, and 105 for 3 day storage. we told them we were told we it would be 185. the lady was extremely rude and said no its 290. she called the owner and he said he didnt tell us 185. he also claimed he tried to call us the day of and we didnt answer. HE DIDNT HAVE OUR NUMBER HOW COULD HE DO THAT??? how is it fair we have to pay 35 day for storage when they refused to let us get our car the day it was towed. they wouldnt release the car to us unless we had a paper from an office that was closed until 2 days later. thats some crooked stuff. i highly recommend avoiding this company at all cost.

Criminals, they took my car from a Valparaiso parking lot marked for fifth third only which Im a member of. I stopped at the ATM in this parking lot and crossed the street to the county building to pay for a septic permit. When I left, they had my vehicle on the truck and were getting ready to leave. I tried to explain that I was a fifth third member and was only gone for 20 minutes and that I had never been there before, but they wouldnt cut me a break. I asked for their manager and called the police. Their manager arrived before the police unfortunately and physically assaulted me, pushing me into the road and to the other side. I asked the police what I should do, they said let them go. Kind of hard when a guy is hitting you. When the police finally arrived the Sandberg criminals were gone. Im guessing that Sandberg handles the police impounds because the police said they might press charges against me too! No justice. Hopefully the next time this violent guy assaults someone that next someone will have nothing to lose and can retaliate in kind. I wish I could have but Im sure Id be the one with charges against me. This is how Valparaiso treats guests.

I called them forba unlock. The guy was having a problem positioning the air wedge. I mearly suggested a different spot. And he blew up having a child like temper tantrum, and left. Without oprning the door. Crazy. I suggest a anger management stint for Mr. Sandberg. Unbelievable
