Yes, I said that.... anything helicopter related, Rick is the man.Me and my girlfriend booked the Laguna Beach tour from John Wayne airport. We came off our flight and immediately went and boarded Rick’s Heli for a tour.We received way more than we expected, I’ve done helicopter tours in other parts of the world and this by far was the most personal and exciting tour of them all.Rick the pilot is awesome and friendly and has a great vibe. Also one thing cool is you get to see the hanger that houses some of OC’s elite jets, Rick knows all about. Very knowledgeable and very safe, I absolutely trusted Rick 100% as his helicopter background is impressive.Thanks a million.

I went on a double date for this amazing experience and it was breath taking. Captain Ric is extremely knowledgeable about the area and made the ride interactive. The views from the helicopter are second to none and Ric made sure we were safely hovering at all times but still let us have some fun with a few dips and side turns. We did the UFO option, it’s best to let the expert take you on your journey! Highly recommended for groups of 4 or less.Thank you !Dan

This is my second time with OC helicopter. The first time was for an anniversary coastal cruise for about 20 minutes and this last time 4 of us did a Birthday double date for the UFO tour. Patti was incredible at helping us find the right package and options and very responsive and accommodating & Ric the pilot was an incredible tour guide and an extremely skilled pilot. This is the most amazing experience and having lived in Southern California all my life I saw so much I never new existing. IF you are considering the UFO tour, DO IT. It’s worth the extra bucks for the time you get and really just makes an incredible day.

OC Helicopters is amazing. I booked 2 Laguna beach tours. They created a lifelong experience for me, my kids, and their friends. Not only did they deliver what they advertised, they gave us way more than expected; Patti and Ric (our pilot) showed us what true customer service is supposed to be like; from the greeting in their office, to their awesome friendliness & humor, and of course their professionalism throughout the experience. Plus, Max is the best! You have to go and see Max. They were incredibly professional and incredibly kind. Our pilot was so knowledgeable and gave us so much information along the way that it made it so much fun to understand what we were seeing. (He’s also a great pilot!) We had a great tour of the southern California coast line with Captain Ric! He gave us a lot of history on local information, and the views were spectacular. I highly recommend this excursion, It would be perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, and even a special date night.

3 friends and I did the Beach Cities tour for our friends birthday. We all live in coastal Orange County so seeing where we live from the air is a special treat, I highly recommend!All of us have been on helicopter tours previously, in Hawaii, Vegas, Grand Canyon and other places. Ric was the best pilot weve ever had!He gave us the most fun ride and also a really informative tour, so we had the best of both! Weve been on tours where the pilot says nothing. (Boring!) Not Ric! He knows the area so well and he pointed out all the landmarks and nooks and crannies (some secret ones) for us to enjoy from the air.His experience and background are fascinating and he is uber-safety conscious, the perfect recipe for a fantastic pilot. OC Helicopters has been excellent. I say this as a helicopter pilot myself. Their operation is seamless and easy to book for trips. Their prices are transparent. The last time we flew, we needed to pick up a new kitten from San Diego, and allowed me to book only hours before I needed travel. They have other resources outside of their own so if they cannot provide the service youre looking for, they certainly know who can and can arrange it all for you. Keep up the good work!

What an exceptional experience! Yesterday we went on a magnificent coastal tour with Ric for my daughters 21st birthday! He made the entire tour so fun and interesting! I had the absolute best experience of my life. First time flying in a helicopter and captain Rick was certainly the man for the job. His office staff and ease of getting prepared for the flight was quick, friendly, and most of all fun. Rick is very personable and makes the experience all worth while. During the flight he was very knowledge on the area as well as a few fun facts added in. He maneuvered the helicopter in a comfortable but also fun/playful manner by doing extra moves and even taking extra time to show us extra sites like whales swimming and certain celebrity houses. Overall I give this two enthusiastic thumbs up and will definitely be using Rick’s services again. Highly highly recommend you guys book a tour. It’s so worth it!

I first met Ric (and Max and Patti) when we did a tour of the coast. Amazing trip and so much fun. I had to book a charter at the last minute for work and Ric managed to pull it off so well that now my boss wants to use him for all our charter needs. He said it was absolutely the best and hes gone on many helicopter charters so this is high praise indeed. I would recommend Ric and OC Helicopters to anyone for a fun trip or for business. Our tour was amazing! Rick at OC Helicopters was friendly, fun, and informative. Patti was also very helpful in setting up our flight. Due to the weather, we werent able to fly to the beach, but Rick made it up to our group and took us on an extra 5 minute tour. I have already recommended OC Helicopters to my friends and I would even go again. We were sad to hear about Max, the co-pilot, but glad to hear facts about a helicopter being named in his honor.

Im sure its all thanks to his fantastic wife Patty, who trained him well (LOL) she was key to creating the perfect scenario in their lobby area, as I had flowers delivered to her. She hid them for the suprise later after our flight! Patty is a GREAT illustrious lady. I thank her for all her help. I couldnt be happier for this beautiful memory that my fiance and will forever hold dearly in our hearts.
