This is a great place to work out. I passed the whole planet fitness near my house to come to this one. The associates that work They’re always polite they greet you when you come in the door always there to help when you have questions.When working out people are very mindful and polite.Great place to work our thank you so much

I have always felt welcomed at this Planet Fitness location. No lunkheads, no judgy looks. The on-site trainer (used to be Ashley) is very nice and had great tips. Everyone has always been friendly and really good about keeping the gym clean and regularly cleaning off the equipment once they’re done.While this is a smaller gym, late last year the restrooms and showers received a needed update! I can only hope to see the updated Matrix workout machines (like Lee Road has) here soon. I hope we’ll get hydromassage chairs too!

Been going to Planet Fitness for over 5 years, and I hate to say it, but this location is my least favorite Ive been to. Its just too small for the amount of people that go to this location, but the location is prime for me. The tanning beds severely need updating or AT LEAST new bulbs! My biggest issue is with the staff, they are not friendly, not professional, and they act like youre inconveniencing them when you need help with something. This one employee had even rolled her eyes at me once, on top of the multiple times she has given me a dirty look for simple things like wanting to purchase a drink!! I wish I could continue to go to this location but there has just been way more negative experiences than positive ones here.

Friendly staff, great for all sorts of workouts. no group classes but lots of equipment available for individual workouts.

This location is amazing. The staff and especially the fitness trainer, she is amazing. To have someone rooting for you throughout your fitness journey feels great. I actually look forward to going to the gym and Im sad when Im not able to make it. I highly recommend this location. Its also nice and very clean; maintained very well. 110% love this place. The best decision I ever made!

Cool place to workout all round.

This by far is one of my favorite locations, I usually go in the mid morning or afternoon... Michael is the most friendliest and professional on the front desk team. He makes checkin so warm and welcoming. I definitely enjoy going to this gym knowing that I am appreciated as a member. Thank you!!

Excellent, the cleanest in central florida

Was looking for a gym for me and my 13 year old and love the atmosphere, cleanliness, and availability of equipment. The staff is so helpful and always greet you coming in and leaving as well!

Its a very small planet fitness. It was fine because I was there early so there was not a lot of people but if it would have been busy, waiting on equipment would have been an issue. There were no decline benches near the Smith Machines or dumbbells so my chest routine did suffer some.

I started coming here for three weeks without stopping, but I also have been here before for a few times, for being a small location, people and staff members makes this place better, you literally can do any workout without having problems. People are respectful, and the atmosphere it’s amazing. And over all it’s super clean!

Lasted 2 days there. To small,barley any weight lifting areas,it’s basically a gym(if that’s what you wanna call it) for just cardio. I took 4 steps to get disinfect to wipe down the machine I just used and was instantly hassled about a mask! Be thankful I was actually cleaning the equipment! I canceled my membership and will be going to CF

So during COVID-19 my gym clothes down so I got a membership with planet fitness for the time being, well signing up in the contract they said I can cancel at any time. Because of the situation I had my membership for two days and then they closed... fast forward 2 1/2 months and they continue to charge me and still charge me all the way up till June when I stopped with our membership in March. These guys are absolute crooks and their $10 a month membership was $42 do not do business with them! Do not give them your money go to another gym!!!!Sincerely in Orlando resident and vivid gym goer!

Front desk couldnt access my info from another location then tried charging me to workout when i pay to be able to workout at multiple locations

Stopped here to get an early workout before a work function. Beautiful facilities. Clean equipment and locker room. And George from the staff was very helpful. I lot my phone and he quickly helped me retrieve it. Great planet Fitness if youre in the Dr. Phillips area.

I am putting a 3-star rating here, because the manager, who was initially rude by telling me that next time I could not access the gym without downloading their app, (just a small detail, I do not like working out with my phone!!), did a pretty good service recovery. However, next time I will work out without my phone, I really hope that this man does not EVER talk to me like that again.

WAY WAY WAY too small. I have been in dozens of PF forms and this is too small.Staff acts like you’re a bother if you approach the desk.Go to a different PF!

Great location

This is my first time going to a Planet Fitness in Florida. I usually only go after 1 a.m. but this is a very nice location, there are usually are only 3 or 4 people working out at this time. Very clean and lots of variety in equipment.

Great place to workout

I am a pretty big gym fanatic, Ive had memberships at L.A. Fitness, Youfit, Private gyms and now Planet Fitness. This location is great and the staff is so friendly. They always great you with a smile and make sure to wish you a good day on your way out. The gym is always clean and weights are always racked properly. While I do wish they offered a few more weight machine options, rowers, and a free standing squat rack, I understand the message theyre trying to get out to their customers, judgment free. This is really a starter gym to make people feel comfortable, but it is affordable and even if you are a frequent gym goer, you can definitely get a great workout in.

Great place to work out. Staff is very kind and respectful. I mentioned a problem I had here stepping out of the showers into some water and they addressed it immediately by going and getting rubber mats. I feel appreciated that my feedback was taken into account. I recommend this location.

Great staff. Clean. Easy access to equipment. Convenient times. No hassles. No contractual commitments. Proper atmosphere. I dont think you can ask for much more at the prices they are asking for, so that is why the rating is so high. Can I conceive of a better gym experience? Of course, but I would expect to pay about 5x as much. They provide a satisfying overall service and setting at what I consider a bargain price. I have been going steadily for over a year and see the same faces over and over, and they appear to be in better shape or as good as shape as ever. That spells success.

Been going to this location for over 2 years. Initially had the Black Card and after visiting several locations, this one won me over.Super friendly and helpful staff. Equipment well maintained. Even during busy time, there’s something available for me to use. Every now and then, what I want is not readily available and it meant switching up my workout. It’s not a deal breaker especially for less than $15/month.For all the gripes about not having showers/locker area, it’s a renovation! It takes time. Give them a break. If it was up to them, I’m sure they’d want everything done yesterday, too.

Missing many core features. Free weights do not go above 80lbs, and there are no proper bench press or squat machines. Only Smith machines. Location is very difficult to access during rush hour due to proximity to Lockheed and Universal, and therefore also quite crowded and busy.I recommend going somewhere else.

No black card zone

It’s a great location and the staff is super friendly anytime I come in, it is a bit small compared to others but I have never came to this location and it be packed. There’s always machines accessible and showers open (though they only have 3). The do have the tanning and massaging chairs here which is also great! Aside from the smallish area it’s great!

Was basically told they do not have any required things like showers and 30 mom workout area. Was suggested that I go to another planet fitness instead of using this one even though I have a black card so that I have access to all amenities in all PF locations. The locker room is scary and dirty. Place not kept up at all. Do not recommend this location at all if youre looking for PF normal experience

If you want to do cardio and weight loss they have plenty of equipment available. locker rooms are clean, not busy and staff is nice. Great deal for your buck.

This planet fitness is different than the usual ones youd go to. This one is very friendly and home like gym. They manage this gym very personally. The employees are very friendly and always willing to help. The price per month is unbeatable. $10 per month and you get almost all the machines. Only this I wish they had is a bench press.

Tiana has been very thoughtful in designing a workout specifically for my personal limits and capabilities.

I joined this location when it first opened and loved it then, still love it now. As the commercial says Planet really is a judgement free zone. When I first joined I was very out of shape, but thanks to the huge variety of elliptical, treadmills and target weight equipment, those days are in my past now, and I intend to keep it that way. The gym has a wonderful range of hours it is available, and just perfect for those of us that work odd hours, all night and such. I cant say enough about Planet Fitness at Dr Phillips. It is FAR superior to any gym I have ever belonged to, without exception. There is a staff and there are fitness experts that are happy to give you a little advice. They can also direct you to a personal trainer which you may wish to hire to get super fit if you need someone to challenge you to go further. The gym is super clean as are the facilities. Go, even just for a day and you will understand why I truly LOVE Planet Fitness.

When I first joined PF and became a member, I wanted to run back out thinking, “What am I doing here?” I was so lost and confused, not a drop of confidence, but then I met the trainer, Tiana, at Turkey Lake and wow everything changed. I was sparked with courage and confidence. I felt like I’d become a whole new person. What an inspirational and caring person she is. Tiana listened carefully to all of my needs and she made sure I felt comfortable. Not one of my questions so much as bothered. I can see it’s not just a job, she truly cared about me!! Thank you, Tiana, you’re a true blessing. PF is blessed to have you. Everyone else is very nice too and the gym is very clean. I recommend it 100%.

Clean, happy place to go. everyone keeps up thier Hellos or enjoy your workout when i come in. even when they are super swamped at the check-in desk ! enough space and machiens to get in my 30 min wieght lifting routine. good Stretch out and get to work asap ! im there every two days. for years..this club is consistantly on target !!! xoxoxox

I have 4 months in planet fitness and I think its very good. but sometimes the attention is terrible, on the part of miss abby. unfortunately there are people who do not read the policies of the company where they work and want to apply their own policies

Great spot to drop in. Inviting atmosphere, knowledgeable coaches and proximity to the parks made it an ideal place to drop in.

They keep the inside temperature frigid. Its not cold its not freezing its absolutely frigid. Its unhealthy to have it that frigid, its ridiculously too cold in this place they might as well make it a butcher shop and hang meat. I mainly workout at night (2am to 5am) and the place is just too cold. I have been going to the Conway Road location near the airport instead of this location now because of the frigid cold situation. Even when you walk in the 1 person working is wearing a winter coat, that should tell you something. I would like to come here to Dr Phillips location because its closer to home/work, but I guess I have to change my home club.

Really wish they would finish the renovations. Arrived here for a quick workout from out of town and no showers!! It defeats the purpose of going to the gym out of town if I don’t have a shower available.

No showers, terrible bathroom locker room areas. I see there is renovation but what you have going on is unacceptable for a black card member. I pay every month and all I want is a beeping shower. Thanks for making me consider other gyms

Organized, clean and always open. The only reason I took off one star is the lack of free bars, only Smith racks here. It may not matter to most people. The perk is 24/7 hours at most locations.

This is a busy gym! However, the staff is very friendly and the equipment is in good shape. Very close to the convention center, so it was perfect for me. I had an excellent workout! 👍😎

This is my gym. The staff is always very kind. Its really not terribly busy. Plenty of equipment to choose from. Everything you need. The tanning area is always kept very clean too.

I bought my membership online and today was my first day going. I was told I could bring my daughter since I had a black card. I got there at 6pm on Saturday and the guy working was rude. He never said hello or even welcome me. Instead he says ummm you know the gym closes at 7?! Like he didnt want to be bothered with me. I said yes, I told him I brought my daughter who looks just like me! He says I needed a birth certificate saying shes your kid. I didnt have one cause I wasnt told I needed one when I called. Another person walked in and he didnt drill them at all! Im standing there and not one time did I get a Im sorry or anything! He couldnt even look at me while he was talking. Which is very unprofessional! I told him, even if I bought the birth certificate in then my last name is different from her so what now? He said well if its not the same then I cant prove she is your kid! This gym is a joke and this employee doesnt need this job! I even tried to call the location 3 times so I could get his name but no answer!! I guess in his mind he clocked out at 6 and stopped working! I then call turkey lake location, the guy was great and told me he knows the manager and will talk to her for me! Im disappointed when this gym is a so called no judgement zone but I was judged right from the time I walked through the door!!

I really enjoy my time spent here. The people are friendly and the equipment and atmosphere of the building is always clean and presentable.

My go to gym, cheaper than the YMCA by a factor of 10 each month and nice and clean.

I have been to a lot of planet fitnesses.This one is lower then the ones Ive been to. There were no big TVs locker rooms were so-so. Parking lot is dimly lit.

It is awesome to have your own tv at you station. Just wish it was a little bigger. They have a lot of machines crammed in there.

I have been to a lot of gyms in my 51 years of life but I have yet to see a gym with a shower like the one I saw at this gym. There is a real old moldy folding seat in one of the showers and it needs to be removed asap.And of course I noticed that this gym has automatic glade spray cans mounted on the walls of the gym.Lol.Do we really need those things soraying us with chemicals as we try to work out and get in shape?Thats not at all healthy.Otherwise it was a nice gym with nice Front Desk lady.

This facility is well-maintained and contains a good variety of equipment including free weights, and a selection of machines. I have been a member for over two years, and I appreciate that the cost to use the facilities is so low when compared to similar gyms.

Love this place cant get enough of it! The entire staff is completely awesome it rocks!!! The trainer at dr. Phillips is awesome!

Great place to work out

Difficult to cancel membership. You aren’t allowed to cancel your membership online. You have to go in person. When I went in person, they said their internet didn’t work, so I can’t cancel my membership right now and would have to drive back another day. I told them I don’t live nearby anymore, so it’s a hassle to come back again, can I just sign a piece of paper or form here and when the internet works, you have all my information and consent to cancel. They said no. I will drive back again, if they give me another reason why their system is down or anything else I have no other choice but to file a dispute claim with my credit card company.
