I lived here since Nov 2017 (moved to a new city in June 2021) in a studio and it has been an amazing experience. First time living by myself; I was super scared but the leasing office helped me through the process and were so kind to me. It was always clean and quiet. I never had any issues with my neighbors, we all respected each other. Whenever I had a maintenance issue (plumbing, kitchen, etc.) and contacted management about it, they were always responsive and took care of my issues ASAP. I had the pleasure of meeting Joy, Lindsey, Alfredo, Jacqueline, and Jackson. They were all so kind to me and always answered my questions in a timely manner. The location of this apartment complex was great as well, right next to the freeway! The management is great, and the units were nice. If I lived in SD still, I would definitely move back! Thank you for making my first time living by myself amazing!

Weve been to lots of Apartment complex and this one is the best weve had because of good management. They keep it clean and updated, theyre also very responsive with our requests. Quiet and good neighborhood.

Didnt live there but my experience with application procedure was very bad. Unnecessarily, they wasted my time. First they said my application was accepted then they declined my application.

I recently wanted to tour Maya Linda Apartments as the pictures looked great, was within my budget and close to my new job. I called and called with no answer, i came by the office and it was closed up with notes all over the door. I understand we are in a pandemic but I still needed a place. Once i finally got a hold of someone by the name or Laura, she was short, snippy and said I could only do a self guided tour and the office was closed. On the website it says different. Laura shouldnt be in the office if she cannot help anyone and has the most unprofessional attitude. Luckily i found a place down the street and the manager is sincere and wants to help people find a place to live.

Not bad for our first solo apartment but they sent my security deposit to the wrong address back in March (which I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t checked in 2 months after we moved out). I’ve checked in every month and every time they tell me it has been returned to the corporate office and that they’ll let me know when it comes. It’s nearly August now. I’ve gotten gym equipment during the pandemic faster than this check. Can this check not be voided/rewritten? Why is it being passed like a hot potato in the mail? I’ll update this review once I actually get my security deposit.

I have been living here since I moved to San Diego. The apartments are older, but they are well maintained and refreshed often. There are security cameras on site, and night watch. The complex itself is safe and cozy. The rent is pricy, but a lot cheaper compared to other apartments in the area. It is also on the boarder of scripps ranch, so you get price of Mira Mesa with the nice quietness of Scrips Ranch. The cons are there is hardly any parking due to the volume of apartments and condos in the area. If you have more than one car, then good luck parking after 5pm (you only get one spot on complex).

I had a really bad experience. I moved into this apartment out of desperation when I first moved to San Diego for work and had to find a place before work began. Because moving is a much dreaded thing to me, I got stuck in this terrible apartment till I reached my breaking point. I am generally a very busy person and dont get to spend a whole lot of time in the apartment, but the short time I spend in the apartment I would like to enjoy that time. Well, forget about having a good time just like I did.The Apartment quality is just horrendous. The infrastructure is old and dilapidated. Management is just incompetent and cant enforce any policy properly to help residents. Plus it is not at all a safe place. Maintenance staff is equally or more inadequate. Security patrol is for namesake and is a joke. Many cars get broken into without any corrective action. If you are looking for relatively cheaper places in Mira mesa area and you are ready to compromise a basic standard of living, this place barely makes the list. Otherwise, I strongly urge you look for any other place even if you have to pay a little more.I am also disgruntled by the management who found some excuse or the other to deduct my deposit after I left the apartment. Though this holds true for most apartments it is still a alibi for dishonesty which should be highly ostracized.I really hope people even in their desperation see this truth and avoid this s**thole of a place at any cost possible. I wish I could give it zero stars.Good luck apartment hunting.

Great experience living here. I was here 4 years and only left because I had to move back East for family. Toni and Joy and Alberto responded to any concerns. Would move back if I go back to SD

The parking is bad. The managers name is Kyesha Smith. She is not a good manager. She made 15 slots for guest parking but there is like 1 guest per month. And this is really a waste of parking space. They should allow resident to park during the weekdays since guest is likely to come on weekend. Residents must find parking else where that is far from the apartment. Even when tenants give suggestions for residents to use guest parking on weekdays, the manager just ignores. She does not care like she is smart but she is really not.

Poor and Greedy Management. While leaving the apartment, the apartment, was very very clean, without any single stain. but still the management took $450 out of $600 security deposit for studio apartment cleaning. Even if rent is late by 1 day, they charge $100 as fine - no exceptions, but when you have to call them for any maintenance, they dont respond. My rent for studio was more than 1 bed room apartment of my neighbors, and there was always loud music from neighbors - and management took no action even after multiple complaints. Avoid this place at any cost.

Its a dump. Yeah, its cheap. You get what you pay for. Horrible maintenance. Management team could care less. I describe it as a stoned or methed out staff. Its a hotel for me. If you just want a roof over your head for a year, then its fine. Do not try to complain or ask for support, because it will not matter. Complex is unkept, dumpster area is scary. Recently they have allowed a lot of trashy people to move in. I will move out at the end of my lease.
