Moving in to this place initially it seemed decent, but that was quickly not the case. Some of the staff would be extremely rude or completely uninterested if you brought an issue up to them. There are no cameras around the building (except in their gym for some reason?) And there are pretty regular vehicle break-ins. There are constantly people digging through the dumpsters at all times of the night and even during the day and the security does NOTHING about it it is scary for everyone who lives there. They towed my truck 3 times, and were completely unhelpful and didnt care that they towed it on small technicalities (my parking lapsed and I was waiting for the new sticker in the mail). The cleaning people are very kind, but vacuum at 6-7 in the morning in the halls, the walls are very thin. Not to mention they forced me to move apartments during a pandemic. The pest issues from other reviews are not an exaggeration. When you move out they will charge you for things that you are not responsible for by california state law. This has been a nightmare
Great experience, the place is just perfect for me and my husband!!! It has a cozy but elegant style to the apartment!!!! Also they have amazing people who help a ton!!! Chung was so nice and helpful and took time out of her day to find us a place to rent furniture while we are here and got us an amazing discount!!!!
I have recently move here. The move in experience was good. The place is good too. I am impressed by the after hour maintenance(special thanks to Nicolas the maintainable guy) for fixing an urgent issue quickly.
I moved in about 3 months ago from Oakland and the complex is beautiful! The apartment is newly renovated with modern accents (which sold us), the facility is clean, and the front desk is very helpful (Chung, Ramiro, and Vania)!Ive reached out to maintenance for a couple of inquires and Miguel was always there to resolve them! He is kind, helpful, and works quickly! He knows what hes doing as the inquires have not been an issue since. Definitely enjoying living here!
This place is horrible DO NOT MOVE HERE I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! The main manager Ghadi is should not be manager . She does not care to help residents, the assistant manager that was there Vania was horrible !! This place is a joke I lived here last year I would not recommend this on my worse enemy. My apartment had an issue with bugs, my hall had issues with bees, the parking was horrible. I could hear my Neigbor talking shows how thin the walls were. Only good thing about this place is Regina n the guy Ramero.
If you are going to apply PLEASE CALL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to get a decision on your application. They will conveniently take 48 hours to contact you in order to hold your deposit.Edit: please do not contact us Bella Posta, there is nothing more to discuss, just want future possible tenants to know what to except from this company.
I have lived in Bella Posta for 9 years and a lot has changed for the better. The newly remodeled apartments are stunning. All of the work being done around the complex can get exhausting but the outcome of all the remodeling has been worth it. For the past 4-5 years I have had the pleasure to know Luis who has been taking care of most of my maintenance request. He is always been very respectful and very pleasant. On New Years Day there was an issue with my electricity and when I reached out to the emergency line within a few minutes he reached out and from there it him about 10 minutes to arrive. I was surprised with how fast his response to my call was, especially since it was a holiday. He arrived to my apartment and was able to fix the issue within 15 minutes. I was very grateful for that. Luis creates a friendly experience for Bella Posta and I am grateful for the kind service he does for the residents.
Do not move here unless you like spiders, roaches and centipedes as roommates, and feces backed up in your kitchen sink! I can’t wait for my lease to end! Don’t let the modern amenities fool you.
Recently moved into Bella Posta! They are newly renovated apartments! Very nice! We moved here from Illinois. We worked with Ramiro De Lara. He was amazing! EXTREMELY helpful!! Moving from across the country was very hectic, especially with COVID pandemic going on. Ramiro made sure we got what we wanted and always responded super quick. We did a facetime tour, lease signing and everything virtually. Ramiro made everything go by super easy and smooth! We appreciate all his hard work and help! We love that the complex is super pet friendly! The pet wash is so helpful. Saves us from cleaning a bathtub full of dog hair! The ONLY con we have for this complex is parking. If you dont have a reserved spot or pay the extra fee for a garage, then its just driving around until you find an unreserved spot.
Ive been living in this complex for about 3 years now. I would like to thank to Mr Luis Alvarez for all the help that we received every time when we sent a maintenance request. The response had been quick and beyond positive. Its very important to find people with empathy when you have a problem to solve. All the maintenance team had been nice and polite, putting a lot of effort in solve any inconvenient.Thank you so much
Regina is FANTASTIC! She is so personable, have a fantastic tour and made the application process easy. She was able to answer all of our questions and provided an excellent experience. I felt at peace and home after the tour! Thank you so much for all you do Regina! We appreciate you and look forward to seeing you in the future.
I’ve been living here for about 6 months and my boyfriend for about 1yr 1/2. Sometimes I love living here for the amenities and the size of the apt but half the time I hate it.There are construction workers literally every single day which are blocking the parking spaces, making so much noise, and gathered around cars chatting. I understand that there are renovations being made but there have been so many inconveniences due to this, especially water issues. Our water has been shut off more than a dozen times since I’ve lived here and many times it does not even get warm.Maintenance is a hit or miss; there are times that they come and fix something the same day or next. Other times it takes weeks of requesting and re-requesting to get something done (ex. when our garbage disposal gave out and our bathroom sink was clogged-it took 3 weeks to get someone in here.) otherwise the maintenance guys are nice and quick when they finally come in.I was so excited about the dog shower room and I got to use it twice and now the hose is broken as well as the hair dryer. If they’re going to plan to provide these amenities they need to prepare for wear and tear fixes.Parking is whatever but we’ve become accustomed to it.Besides those negatives it is aesthetically pleasing and the neighbors are friendly. I like the paths where people can walk their dogs in and all the Poop bag stations it has. The amazon hub room is also pretty neat.
I have lived here for 7 years and my favorite part of this place is absolutely hands down is Luis. Probably why we don’t leave He is always thorough, efficient and quick to respond to maintenance request. He always does a great job. He is never rude or condescending straight to the point. He is awesomeEverything people say about parking is TRUE construction workers are out of line they speed and drive quickly yell at tenants and the office does nothing. But anywhere you go you have to pick and choose your battles. We are renters we are replaceable always! remember it could be worse for somewhere.Maintenance comes into your home and takes care of your living situation and that ones you love and that’s what matters the most. Thank you Luis he could give the maintenance manager some tips! Give him a promotion or raise.
My husband and I recently moved into the Bella Posta apartments and so far weve had a great experience. Regina one of the employees here helped my husband and I tremendously. All the employees here are so helpful with anything we need. They made my husbands and I experience getting our very first apartment very smooth! Love Bella Posta and all the people who work here.
I lived at Bella Posta for over three years, during which there were some positives (close to downtown, Amazon Hub, and quick maintenance turn-around), but mostly negative. However, I was sticking it out. Yet, after asking the status of my lease renewal that was up in less than seven weeks, I received a notice stating that they would not extend me another lease option instead giving me the option of moving into one of their remodeled apartments. Based upon seeing the remodels through windows, they look nice, but the units are horribly overpriced already given the issues with the complex. So, in the middle of a pandemic, they want me to move from my home into another one so they can charge me more. That gives you some insight into the mindset of the property managers. If you dont mind any of the following, you should love living here: the hall and your apartment smelling like cigarette and marijuana smoke due to air circulation issues; people parking in your assigned parking spot with no way to tow them; frequent water shut-offs and poor water quality that have been going on for years, with no notice; people breaking into garages and stealing your stuff; complex changes that are sold as improvements but really are major inconveniences like moving one buildings mailboxes to another building; no visitor parking; charges designed to circumvent the house increase law (charges are about $80 a month in addition to your rent, up from about $50 in 2017); secured buildings that are left unlocked; unreturned messages to the site manager and assistant manager; poor security; routine elevator maintenance that takes over eight months to complete; air conditioners breaking in summer with slow repair time; and massive freeway noise from I-8 and I-15.This is all on top of the normal things you see in apartments: bugs, low-quality appliances and carpeting, and loud neighbors and barking dogs.
For the past 11 months this apt complex has been a war zone. They are far more concerned about luring future residents than helping current residents. This complex is located next to a major highway but the good news is you wont hear it over the constant day in and day out construction. Jack hammers, tearing down siding right outside your apt, ripping up carpet outside your apt, painting inside and outside (fumes leaking into your apt), update your tetanus shot because I have stepped on nails twice! They gave us 3 days notice and told us we had to leave out apt for an entire week for interior construction. Our water has been shut off dozens of times in the past 6 months. They have limited parking and will only give each apt one space and street parking is a nightmare. Worse they are constants closing off sections of the parking lot - they will give a few days notice then TOW all the vehicles in that section. So if your out of town you may come back to an apt with people inside and your car towed. They are ripping up and completely remodeling apartments on all sides of us. Our pictures fall as the walls shake, constantly denied access to our front door by construction workers, and its so loud youll need the TV on full volume to hear anything. I wish someone would have warned me about this complex.
Haven’t even been living here a month yet and had my car broken into. I was told by a previous community member that this has happened to residents here numerous times and someone even had their bike stolen from the garage. There are no cameras here they claim they have night patrol at night, but seems as if maybe their night patrol is in on this if it keeps happening. We pay for parking spots, the least they could do is have cameras.
Vania was great and helped us a lot!Overall great first apartment for my wife and dog, would recommend.More details below if interested.Pros: close to everything, Costco is under 5 minutes away and mission trials under 10 minutes.Maintenance was always very quick, helpful, and polite. The newly renovated apts were very nice.Newly assigned parking was a big improvement to the free-for-all we had for first half of lease.New gym and pool areas look great, unfortunately due to covid we didn’t get to use.Dog cleaning station was convenient.Never really heard other apts or the road, great sound proofing.Amazon locker.Cons: water was turned off way too frequently, sometimes with no notice until afterwards. It was rare to have a week where water wasn’t off for a morning or two.A lot of construction as the new management is renovating. No dog park or place in walking distance for dogs, had to run over stadium which is all concrete. There is roaches, everywhere.Trash is constantly overflowed and on the floor.Got towed once even though we paid for the apt parking, didn’t receive a call or notice and landed with $300 bill.As soon as the dog bags ran out, it seems select neighbors didn’t have their own and would leave the dog mess, rarely ran out but terrible neighborly etiquette.
My family and I lived here for about 7 months and have to say I was grateful to live here and impressed with the management. The rooms are spacious, the rates are affordable, the amenities good, and the maintenance team exceptional. While you only get one parking spot for a 1 bedroom, finding parking was never an issue. The place is pet friendly and very centrally located.Initially, I was a little concerned when I first moved in, based on the previous reviews, as well as speaking with other residents about their experiences. But Bella Posta really stepped up to the plate so to speak, and you can tell that the management truly does care about this place. The incredible renovations taking place are an example of its improvement - In just the few months that my family lived here, we saw washers and dryers installed in some units, the interior/exterior painted and looks so much more modern and inviting, and an Amazon hub installed (love it!), just to name a few. Its really a great place to live thanks to all of their efforts, and I would really recommend this place due to all the above mentioned features, as well as the peace of mind knowing that the management wants the very best for the apartment complex - it just keeps getting better. Thank you for a great stay, and we really appreciate all your hard work :)
I usually find the good in everything...good, bad, and ugly. In this case, I can say that my husband and I have lived here for close to two years, have faced $175 increased rental rates and would have faced another $150 increase had we renewed our lease.I usually let a lot of things go because that is mid-westerner understanding. However, they have an associate that has been there since before we moved in named Erik. While he has seldom polite moments he has more, I cant help you phases.Upon move-in, we were told we were paying first month, last month, and a deposit. This total exceeded $4,000. So, you can imagine our shock a few days ago when I was told that this is not the case regardless of what the leasing agent said upon move-in. Especially when for two years you were under the notion that your last month, in this case $1,600, was already paid.On top of this, after both my husband and I tried to get an understanding with the front office we were then charged a late fee and again, Erik says, I cant help you, you have to wait for Lindsey. I am sorry, can I get some human interaction? Its crazy but the rare times that he has been surprisingly helpful are the days that he says, today is NOT the day. Maybe I should wait for another bad day to ask for assistance. After having a newborn close to 3 months ago it is hard enough to leave the house. Let alone to leave your baby on multiple accounts to attempt to straighten out something that shouldnt even be an issue.I dont deny, this place has served its purpose to us over these past two years. Outside of my rare interactions with Erik, it has been nice living here and I am sure the renovations will make it match the price tag.
THINK TWICE. The maintenance is too much at this point. Water and power always being shut off. Constructionmen right outside my window yelling and jack hammering. They permanently closed the laundry room so now all the residents have to use the one they kept open. Parking is already hard enough now they block off spots due to the construction equipment. Now I get an email saying one of the pools is being shut down?! This is too much. If you’re in the military and work night shifts where you have to sleep during the day DO NOT MOVE HERE. Haven’t even been here half my lease and I can’t wait to move. Also added bonus if you love coming home from a 12 hour shift at work to homeless people digging through the trash this is the place for you! I’ll update this review if something miraculous happens throughout the next 6 months but as of now I’m unhappy.Oh yeah and another thing stop making tenants feel like burdens! Do your god damn job without all the complaining!
This review is not for Bella Posta Apt. but for the independent entity who did the plumbing repairs of the apartment kitchen sink. They service for Bella Posta and unfortunately, I can only give my reviews for them in this site. Specifically, I’m referring to Amilkar (Supervisor) and Miguel (Technician). Both people are nice and polite. Miguel also fixed the problem quicker than expected. They made my stay in the apartment a bit nicer.
To be blunt, calling this place half-decent would be reaching. I broke my lease after half a year because I couldnt stand it anymore. The units themselves are okay if you can look past bugs, the smell of smoke, cold water and constant construction, but the front office staff are unbearable. Rude, disrespectful, and a waste of time. Their ONLY redeeming quality is Regina in the front office, who has always been kind and worked towards bettering my experience. Despite that, dont bother here, there are plenty of complexes in the area that care about their residents. I attatched a photo of a huge roach roaming the 1st floor.
They condone Disabled parking violations, tenants are overcharged, there is no security but the tenants are paying for secured parking, management CHOOSES whom they want to enforce parking assignments, upon and the toilet plumbing comes up through the bathroom sinks. The construction is extremely poor and the front door baseboard doesnt even meet the floor board INSIDE??? The landscaping at tenants front doors is overgrown to the point where there are spiders staring you in the face upon going and coming in/out??? Management doesnt enforce noise, you dont get to use the entertainment room unless you ask 7 yrs in advance, and the front office camera is only for the office, not to enforce the pet feces on the sidewalk or trees in n front of tenant doors... Honestly one would find better accommodations with the homeless vets are n downtown SD...
The apartment itself is decent, especially after the renovations. When we first moved in almost everything was broken, though. Their maintenance service is pretty quick so that was no problem. The problem here is the staff in the office. The lack of professionalism is appalling. I can recall multiple times when I was given wrong information and simply got an oops or I forgot in response. They will nickel and dime you to death, and they are very condescending, self righteous, and often downright rude. I would never consider getting a lease here again. The only reason for the second star is that the building itself is nice, and the amenities are pretty good. I did question the cleanliness of the pools and hot tubs after I saw a couple being intimate in one, though.
The parking is horrible. Only one vehicle for one bedroom apartments has assigned parking space and parking permit but there are two people on the lease. The renovated apartments, while they look nice are poorly constructed. My flooring is coming up and when I first moved in I could not open my stove because the cabinet handle was to far out so it had to be cut down and now I have grip the handle between my thumb and pointer finger in order to open the cabinet. Lastly, the manager is rude and has a bad attitude. I would not recommend renting from them at all. I am seriously contemplating breaking my lease and moving somewhere else.
Regina was a Outstanding service number. Her customer service was above approach and she helped us out tremendously with any and all questions on signing the lease as well as answering every question we had.
If I would have known how much maintenance and construction would be going on during the period of my lease, I would have never moved here. Being a night shift worker, I have had to deal with being woken up by maintainers pounding on pipes or power tools going off outside my bedroom window, I never have a convenient parking spot due to my atypical work hours, and the water is turned off frequently when I have to get ready for work. This is all for rennovations that I will not be benefitting from when my lease ends and has gone on since i moved in 6 months ago. Also nothing seems to be done about non residents sorting and picking through the trash at all hours of the day despite the signs tacked on to them. The location is convenient, but not worth the hassle of day-to-day living for a night worker like myself.
Rented apartment and no hot water in shower, no log in to the website to contact maintenance.Fixed in one day. On a Sunday. Thanks.
Been staying at Bella posta for a little over 2 weeks now and its an amazing place to live . Great staff and overall a quite and cute environment. i have no complaints what so ever 😊
Its been six months since I moved here. Most of the time, no warm water comes out. Even if you come out, you have to turn on the water for a while. So most of them take a cold shower, wash dishes and do the laundry.Ive talked to the office many times about this, but theres no way around it.They said that there is one water tank in the middle, but it is far from my house.I have a baby that is only 100 days old and my wife is not completely restored to health.Every time we wash or wash our baby, we have been stressed too much and waste a lot of water and time.In summer you will see many cockroaches.Numerous around the apartment Cockroaches live and sometimes come home.At night, parking lot is full and street parking is not easy.I didnt know I had a mattress, but there was water and white powder coming out of the living room floor.Even if you keep wiping the living room floors, they keep coming out and soiling the floor and surroundings. Its been a long time since I talked to the office, but it hasnt been solved yet.Mattresses are also expensive for babies, but the floor has been ruined by water.(The mattress is $ 350)I came home without a carpet because I thought of a baby, but I buy carpets to keep things off the floor. It also wasted time and money to stop dirty things and buy something that should be thrown away. They told me that my house was wet, so I kept the dehumidifier on for three days. But the situation still did not improve.I can not understand This is because my house is dry and no water elsewhere.I was afflicted with noise for three days and wasted only electricity. The apartment is under construction every day. And individual discomfort seems to be not interested.I regret coming here. It is also stressful to move again later.11.13.2019Several days have passed since the apartment staff took the dehumidifier.Theres still a white bond and I havent used the living room for days.Im doing this wrapping because I want to tidy up my living room.I live in an apartment and dont know why I have to suffer like thisThe apartment manager called me while I was driving.Im not good at English and driving. So I was driving and soon arrived at the apartment and asked to meet. But she did not understand what I said and said what the review, and quit.I was very unpleasant. When can I meet the manager? When will you solve your problems at home? How long will my wife and baby have to be uncomfortable?I am a chef who works from 10 am to 10 pm.I went home after 11 oclock last night. And as soon as I get up in the morning, Im cleaning and lapping the living room floor. The reason Im posting this while using Google Translator without English is because many people dont want to experience the same inconvenience as me.11.16.2019Bond comes out of the living room floor every day. They ruined all the expensive baby mattressesIm so worried about my 4 month old baby.I told you a long time ago, but apartments dont solve this problem.Theres almost no hot water......Most wash with cold water, wash dishes with cold water and wash with cold water.....12. 12. 2019An apartment manager, Ghada Riad, said yesterday that she sent apartment inspection specialists. But I waited all day yesterday but they didnt come. She was not informed that she would go tomorrow morning until 5 pm.I waited until the reference morning.Suspiciously enough, they looked and said there was nothing wrong. In just 5 minutes....Does anyone have a problem? We have been stressed by living room problems and apartment problems in the last few months. At this point, the problem is not solved until the end of the contract. Then it would be faster to just go out.I contacted a lawyer I knew.Even for my baby I wont stand it anymore.12. 27. 2019
So my husband and I moved in June 1st. It was our first apartment together and we were super happy and excited and thought Bella Posta was going to be amazing, but sadly not. They have lost our rent check three times and we would get a notice at our door saying that we had three days to get out, but then wed call them and theyd magically find our check the next day and say that we put the wrong apartment number on there, which we didn’t. My car has gotten stolen there and they did nothing to help or even warn other residents about the incident. Weve had trouble getting mail to our apartment as well because of the similar mailing addresses between the different buildings where all of our packages would end up sent over to a different building, which we would call bella posta about for help but of course nothing would happen. We ended up getting our packages back but they were opened and torn up and still nothing was done about it. Anytime I call to ask a question bc we are usually pretty busy and don’t have time to stop in at the office I always leave a voicemail and they hardly ever get back to me. And now the one bedroom parking spot that was supposed to be guaranteed is getting turned into reserved (which they emailed us about and said that it was first come first serve so we messages them about it with no response from them, just to find it that the spots were pre-picked and we didnt get a choice in the matter), so you have to pay more just to have the spot and you would think you would get to pick since the money is coming out of your own pocket but no. so the reserved parking spot that they are assigning us is far from the door I found way closer parking when it was open parking. Were constantly having problems with the water being shut off, I get about 3-4 emails weekly about the water being shut off for problems which would take hours before we get any water back on. The construction here which is going on ALL the time makes it almost unbearable if you work night shifts you won’t get any sleep. It’s honestly not worth it. Do not stay here it’s a rip off. They lured us in with brand new refurbished apartment and amenities and we’ve regretted staying here after just a month.
Not impressed so far. The guy who works in the office is incredibly unprofessional, rude, and downright terrible to deal with. The ladies seem to be better but there are some serious issues with the male employee & move-in processes. Parking is a nightmare as well if you have more than one vehicle as there is little to no street parking and their towing policies are not explained well resulting in new residents cars getting towed. Apartments themselves are nice enough and the amenities are good- that’s the only reason for the 2nd star.
Ive been here for a few months now and I have to say Im overall happy with things. I was a little leery at first due to some of the negative reviews but I decided to give this place a look because the pricing and deposit deals were good. So heres what I feel is a fair assessment of the property. The apartments are nice sized for 1 to 2 people and I know many of them are being upgraded. I chose one of the not upgraded ones for price break and Im more than happy with the performance of my appliances and the overall quality of my apartment. Its not fancy but it still looks nice. The complex itself has been undergoing a lot of renovations to upgrade and improve as well. One pool area is all done and theyve added some cool little features around like a dog washing station and a rec room with pool table and foosball above a decent little gym. They are currently tearing up the second pool area to renovate that and all the hallways have been/are being recarpeted and painted, along with the outside. So yes...if you are a day sleeper this may not be the best place for you at the time. The on site laundry has been more limited from what it was, but i havent really had any issues in my building at least waiting for an open washer. The complex is next to the freeway, so ambient noise from that is also a factor to consider for light sleepers. I personally dont usually have an issue, but a fan typically covers over most noise if I am having a rough night. And finally, the office staff (particularly Vania) have been attentive and helpful with any questions or concerns Ive had.Overall? For me, as a single renter, Bella Posta is right for the price. Mission valley can be expensive but this place was affordable and many of the tenents Ive met so far are friendly and fairly respectful of each other. Its not an upscale complex/community, but Im happy with my decision to move here.Pros: friendly staff, good price for area, easy freeway access, great restaurants nearby, facility improvements underway, pet friendly if that is something you need, special motorcycle parking spots(they are exempt from the regular parking rules) 24 hr on call security that patrols on a regular basis.Cons: limited car parking( 1 per apt. and no guest parking after 8pm or they can get towed) (( you can pay extra for a second spot or a garage)), water/trash not included in rent price so you pay extra, freeway noise for those adjacent to the freeway, noise during day due to work (if you are home during the weekday) along with some utility interruptions at times ( also daytime hours), limited on site laundry for now.
Let me start by saying if you thinking about moving here do not!!!!!!!!!!!. This place is far from luxury, DO NOT MOVE HERE, IT IS NOTHING BUT HELL TO DEAL WITH DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!
We moved into Bella Posta October 2019. Our experience here has been nothing but stellar. Everyone from the office staff to the maintanence crew are professional and kind. The renovations in place are amazing. Our apartment is cute and the community is quiet. The grounds are well kept up and all maintanence requests are met in a timely manner. I would reccomend checking tge community out.
Marginal at best. Maintenance outside of actual apartments wouldnt be acceptable in a slum. Some of the staff is downright surly. They are very good at overcharging and hanging on to your $$$.
Awful. Awful. Awful! The total opppsite of luxury. Charges you for every nickel and dime when you are moving out. Read the apartment ratings reviews and you will see how horrible this complex is. From now on I will read reviews before signing a lease.
Pros:-Affordable-Off street parkingCons:-Sundays are brutal with traffic when the Chargers are playing-older building, there is bugs (yes, my apartment is clean and yes, I still get them)
This apartment SUCKS. Don’t move here because they won’t return your security deposit when you move out.
Beautiful view
