Absolutely terrible. I’ve been here three times abs the first time (plain French tips) were okay. Second they couldn’t do what i wanted design and color wise but already started putting acrylic on. This time. Absolutely horrible. They said they could do the design i provided. Tried over six times. Failed horribly then i said just a V French tip design was fine. Couldn’t do this either. Regular French tip, NOPE but then she just drew two lines and said this was way cuter because she “always sees this design on Tic-Tok. And then still charged me full price. Then i had to go back inside since in the sunlight i could see that on the white nails the clear coat didn’t even over the whole nail.UPDATE;Now the clear coat is peeling off the nails.

Minh is the best, she’s been doing my nails for the past 2 years. Very meticulous, consistent and remembers what I like. I know there are many happy customers but for me she’s the best.

Brought in a big group we were all greated and got taken care of right away. Super sweet and professional!!!

I thought the spa was beautiful and Tommy and the lady that did my pedicure were excellent and worked together to get me out quickly. My only complaint is that the techs all have little trays they carry around with all of their equipment. They re-use the clippers, cuticle tools, etc. They were not individually packaged like they came out of an autoclave.

This place is very clean and beautiful inside. I checked in and was seated immediately, no wait. Tommy did my manicure and Ben did my pedicure. Both were very friendly and my nails came out beautiful! I don’t live in the area but if I did I would definitely come back.

I came in for a dip ombré manicure and was very disappointed in the result. When I called to ask if they will fix it, they scheduled a time for me to come in to get it fixed free of charge. I was skeptical that the second person would do a good job with the ombré and was considering just doing French because I figured that would be a safer option. The girl at the counter showed me some pictures of the manicurist’s ombré work and the manicurist started by just doing one nail to make sure that I liked it. They corrected the mistake and the second manicurist did a very good job.They can do a good job but you may want to schedule ahead to make sure that the manicurist that you are going to have is proficient in the style you want.

I have had great service every time I have visited this salon. I have even scheduled group mani/pedi, and each time we have been serviced at the same time. Often times, people who come as a group dont get to start on time because the technicians are still working on other customers. The timeliness of the staff definitely earns them 5 stars. Not only that, the quality of the work is always great, and the drink service was icing on the cake. I will continue to use them.

I was really satisfied with this location. They work hard to make sure that your satisfied. Mindy did a great job on my nails (I purchased dipped nails). I had been to a previous place so I had to have the first ones removed. It was done gently and I was very pleased. They were clean, The atmosphere is bright and inviting and they also give you a hand massage. Again, I really had a great experience there. I will be going back to them in the future.They also have a punch card so make sure to ask for it.

Horrible service! Nail tech couldnt even paint nails. just gave attitude the whole time. Do not get Cathy! 3rd time here and I will never go back! Run! And heaven forbid if you ask for a coffin shape, theyll make fun of you and talk about you too. Thank the Lord I have a different nail salon that could fix my nail and have me back and running. I went straight to Mesa nails on 410 and Ingram and Van fixed everything that lady had done for my nails. The last pic is the better salon Mesa, definitely worth the drive🙌🏽

I have been coming here for years! Hannah and Minh were fabulous for pedicure for my daughter and I. Mimi was very impatient with my daughter for her nails. The colors to choose from are not what’s in the bottle. I completely understand some colors change but her lack of professionalism and patience was not acceptable. I truly think she wanted us to walk out with no paint as there was someone else waiting. Staff tried to help but I believe they were rushing us for next appt without a care the polished on samples were not in the bottle. There are so many places to get nails done.

Pedicures by Peter and Ivy were so relaxing that I was falling asleep. They were accommodating and friendly and made the experience wonderful. Even though it’s not close to home for us, we’ll definitely make the trip back to see them!

I came during the grand opening and had Vinh with a dip manicure. Everyone was extremely nice and quick without taking away from the services themselves. I’ve come back twice and it’s nice to have a spot in walking distance from home.

I get dip nails and they last 3-4 weeks. Everyone here is always very nice. I am very picky with my nails and they never complain. This location is very beautiful and the chairs are comfortable.

First visit and will be my last.I went in asking for a gel fill. After discussing what I wanted at length, they told me that they don’t do gel but would do a dip powder instead.Not what I wanted because then this also meant I couldn’t just fill in what I had and I’d have to get a new set, which I didn’t want to pay for but whatever.Then the lady working on my nails cut my finger and proceeded to put nail polish on it which only added to the pain.Also, when my nails were being dipped in the powder, they put my nail in the original container of the entire powder which, after looking it up, I read that they should never do that. Your nails should be dipped separately.Not impressed with the look of the dip powder at all, but that could also just be my opinion of the product and not of the salon. I’ve never gotten a dip powder before but based on this experience I won’t need to try that ever again.The salon did seem busy enough so there were several customers but not crowded or a long wait at all so that was good. And I was offered beverages twice and the staff seemed somewhat friendly but overall I was not impressed and will go back to where I usually go (Anthony Vince at La Cantera).

Very poor quality of the nails two days after getting them done they started cracking and breaking off. I will never go there again. Major rip off.

This is by far the beat manicure, pedicure business in San Antonio! I am a loyal customer since the open over 5 years ago, Mindy (my person for all things good) and Ivey for my fiancé’, love every minute we get to spend in this great atmosphere...if you want great service in an amazing atmosphere, you have found your place!

I don’t treat myself often, but decided to get a shellac pedicure. I really like Peter. He’s very nice and did a great job.

So sad. i’ve been going to this place for years. they are not professional. Well at least this one girl wasn’t. She rushed my pedicure and manicure and did an awful job. . And she burned my face with the wax. I wish I had gotten her name.Rush, rush, Guess to get another client I will never go there again. 120 down the drain.

This is my go to place. We moved to the farwest side and I still make the trip here for Mindy to do my nails. She is amazing.

First time here and my nails broke off within 3 days. Ive gone to other salons and i usually get the same thing never had to go ask for a refund or a fix. Got stiletto acrylic nails by Mini (or Mimi) and even while i was there a lady came in that 3 of her nails (dipped) also came off with Peter. She sat next to me and praised Mini’s work... So i came in asking for a refund but they couldn’t. Why fix them when the other nails were also bad quality. So i just asked them to remove them because honestly i didn’t want anything from them but my money so i could go to another salon. Dipped or acrylic be careful your nails won’t last a week

I tried to make an appointment no one ever answeres the phone I sent an email no response . I was able to check in on line the wait time on line showed 4 min. After 30 minutes of waiting in my car I decided to go ask the front desk there were 5 others waiting at the door as well. I had a simple question of an estimanted time of wait so I could decide if I want to wait or go to another location. She flat out said you should go to another location then I wonder if the owner agrees with her turning business away. Ive been coming here for years. I will never go back. my wait was over an hour and 30 minutes. I would never want my customer to have to deal with such horrible customer service

So I got a basic pedicure because I was wearing skinny jeans and couldn’t enjoy the full service. The add on for shellac was $20! On top of the 30 for the very basic pedi. So $50 for short massage, no scrub, no foot mask! Honestly, go somewhere else that only charges $10 for shellac! I stopped getting my nails done here because they always lift and come off. Now I’ll stop getting pedicures too because $20 for shellac adder is ridiculous!

When I walked in for a manicure it looked busy BUT I was able to get a seat very quickly! Vanessa was the lady who did a fantastic gel manicure/massage.

DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON. I went there 2 weeks ago since it was close to where I work (I typically go to the Venetian/Valencia near Leon springs). I got a dip manicure which is supposed to last 3-4 weeks. After 1 week the powder started popping off. I had several nails where the powder popped off. Tonight after yet ANOTHER powder coat popped off (it has now been only 2 weeks since I got my nails done) I discovered that I now have a GREEN FUNGUS on my nail. I’ve never EVER ran into this issue and did not have this before I got my nails done here so this is 100% from this place, they just do not clean their tools. I will never be returning here. I am so embarrassed and will now have to visit the doctor to get this fixed. Clearly they don’t disinfect their tools properly!!!!

Anthony did my long natural set.. Asked for stiletto nails. They came out square. I got them done on Oct 19th. On the 26th one broke in half and three are coming up near the cuticle. Today, the 29th, I had the broken nail fixed and its a pink color. Completely off from the rest of the natural look. Also mentioned the other nails already coming off, to front desk, and she avoided my complaint. Shop is very nice. Wish service was as well.

My guy was doing a good job but he than rushed thru it after 2 ladies came in. And my nails out all loop sideded l. Never again

Got a dip manicure from Mindy. This is only my second dip manicure and my first time here. The place is clean and peaceful with piano music - so nice. Mindy asked me a lot of questions about what I wanted (square or natural shape, thin/medium/or thick layers, and if I wanted a $5 manicure add-on, which I did not get because I don’t really like getting my skin cut off around my nails and Mindy said my cuticles looked good anyway - but I liked the option!!) I will definitely be back to see Mindy. Here’s a picture after a week and a half - obviously my nails have grown since then, but still look great. This is dip color 125. 😊

Horrible! My nails didnt even last a week. I paid well over $100 just to have two nails break. I called to speak to a manager just to be told they werent in. The lady i spoke to said they will fix for free why would i want them to fix something that wont last me more than a couple days. Worst place i have ever been to get my nails done!

I went in for a fill and the nail tech didn’t properly clean my nails and did not remove acrylic that had already been lifting. because of that the nails were chunky and the first nail that popped off was in the same day i got them done. i was very disappointed with the outcome and will not be going back.

Got my nails done here and I love them! Staff is so friendly and made my nails look beautiful. Got the shellac finish and my nails still look good after 3 weeks. Price is competitive for the service they offer.

Beautiful salon and they have margaritas as well when youre getting your nails done. I came to this spa with my husband and he even got a margarita. The nail polish I chose was definitely not what it looked like on the nail that was shown. I went back to see if they could fix it since I spent $52 and they refused to help. They said I would have to pay again if I wanted it fixed, or to come back when the lady that did my nails was back. After I had talked to them on the phone and confirmed that they would take care of it. What a waste of money and time!They are unprofessional and I will never give this place my money. The nails I got looked like they came out of a an 8 year old girls nail kit. I really thought by them being at the rim it would be top notch customer service. I was wrong!

Went with my friends to get their nails done. They liked the end product and the price was competitive. Only the friend getting a pedicure was offered a drink. Clean smelly good bathroom.

1st time visiting this place today and I had a great experience! The atmosphere was very relaxing and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I wish I got my techs name because he was very gentle and took his time when doing my shellac manicure. I will definitely be going back!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I broke a nail and came in to get it fixed. They couldn’t find the right color even though my nails matched the color on the sample (Dip) but the color it was coming out on my nail that needed to be fixed was not the same. They then said they couldn’t fix it and THEY LEFT MY NAIL A DIFFERENT COLOR and told me to come back in three days if THE COLOR OF THE NAIL DIDNT CHANGE. WHATTT!!?? I then called 3 days later and said I was coming in to get my nail fixed and he told me NOT TO COME IN because the lady (Lindsey) that did my nails the first time (before I broke my nail) wasn’t there. I told the guy that I still wanted to go in because I have one color nail that looks different from the rest and he told me no!! Then I told him I’m going and he HUNG UP THE PHONE. SO DISAPPOINTED in this place. I have been coming here for 3 years and I will never come again. ZERO STARS. If you are the owner please contact me.

Today is my 26th birthday. My husband brought me to the rim nails & spa to get a pedicure. & it was the most amazing pedicure I have ever had! & my husband ended up getting a pedicure also. & we both left feeling amazingly refreshed! I have already recommended this place to my best friend! ❤

They did a great job on my pedicure and got my ingrown toenails. I had my eyebrows waxed and they are nicely done and even. Not the most friendly people but I dont sit and chat with them so thats okay with me. They always have plenty of help. I have never had to sit and wait.

They let me nap on their chairs, and yes they do a great job!

Nice, clean place. They always do a good job. They also have a margarita machine, which is nice to have after a long hot day. Seems very popular, all the time I have visited the place, it seems to be packed.

Honestly would not recommend this place. I asked for an almond shape and the nail artist admitted to her inexperience. How are you a nail artist and never did almond acrylics?! They were Misshaped, and they rushed me out even though I was the only one there and they were open for another hour. They used a cheap fan to dry them and the man confirmed that they were dry. I left and they smudged once I opened my car door... awful, never going again

Beautiful on the inside but can’t say the same for the people and their attitude. Worst experience ever and I will never ever ever return. Nails crooked, tried to overcharge me, cut my nails to low when I said file ONLY. I should have to keep an eye on or should I say micromanage the pedicurist to ensure she/he is doing THEIR job correctly as the customer requests. Wish they had a zero star option

Best service I swear!

Ive been waiting for some down-time to write this review. This was my first time here and was impressed by the nice inside but that was it. I came for a pedicure and noticed they didnt have a lot of color selections, I was sat and shown the menu and I pointed out which pedicure I wanted and the lady, Hana, kept insisting i get a more experience one ( they are already overpriced to begin with) I kept my choice $35 and she started the process. She cut my nails too long, her massage was extremely hard I thought she was going to pop one of my veins. She didnt cut my cuticles or cleaned the top of my nails nor underneath. She painted them horribly that she noticed how badly I was looking at them then I showed her her own terrible job so she attempted to fix it but I still walked out with ruff feet, dirty nails and uneven paint.

First time here and Vicky did an amazing job!! Such a relaxing experience and complementary drinks were available.. I will definitely be back ! (:

I love all the technicians and they’re all very nice people, I’m not too sure why they get so much negative feedback because I’m a regular and have never had any problems.

I have been going here for over a year. Today the owner charged me $50 which is more than I have ever paid for my nails. I told him it was not right and he said “I am the owner I can charge what I want“. I feel bad for Lena and hope this thief will tip her out of the $50.

Was not able to do a simple natural manicure and polish my nails. Dirty tools and really the inside looks nice but is not clean either.

If I could, I wouldnt even rate this location with a single star. They arent attentive to detail, much less the basic requirements of a even a simple manicure (NOT EVEN a cuticle trim) I tried contacting someone in regards to my unsatisfaction with the service, hoping I could at least have someone else redo my manicure BUT everyone was conveniently too busy to help resolve the issue. Nothing was done and my money was NOT refunded. If I could, Id totally post a picture of the dip manicure ... its so terrible. I went home and immediately soaked it off in a bowl of acetone.

They do a good job and I like that the scrubs and creams come out on a tray, beautifully displayed. I don’t like going to a place that brings out stuff in premeasured cups. It’s all about presentation.

My fiancé and I have been regulars with both Mai & Lena. Everyone is so kind and friendly, we love coming here.

They don’t do DIP manicures well,My friend and I were there for over two hours as a nail tech tried fixing what the other nail tech did wrong. I’d check if these techs have there licenses, it didn’t seem like they knew anything!

Ask for Kathy everytime! She always is sure my nails are to my liking, if not shell fix it. She also gives the best pedicures and really gets those bothersome corners on the toes. Its a little pricey, but clean and has a great atmosphere.

Very inconsistent.Nail techs are moved from person to person. When I sit down I would prefer for one person to work on my nails.The nail work itself is very inconsistent. I will attempt to use them one final time but convenience is no longer a factor since there are so many other locations to try out.

I was in town for business 2 weeks ago and the Hilton recommended this nail salon. I spent $75 to have the polish changed on my toes and acrylics dipped w/ pink and white on my fingers. The next day I wore closed toe shoes and two of my toes that were painted almost 18 hours before got smudged looking and ruined. By the end of the week, two of the acyclic nails cracked and broke. I work in an office and did not use either for any type of manual labor. I did not have time to go back to the salon to get them fixed before flying back to FL but am VERY disappointed in the amount of money spent and short amount of time both services lasted. This is NOT a place I would recommend.

Go here for nails and Mimi is the best though all others are good too. Great customer service

I tried giving this place a few chances before writing a review because of its convenient location, but after three visits with a different manicurist and different services each time, the results have all been terrible. I get my nails and toes done on a fairly regular basis and this is truly the worst nail salon I have ever been to.

Lena was fabulous!! The atmosphere was soothing, customer service was top notch and my nails look fabulous!!

DO NOT GO finger nail file very dirty and toe nail clipper was disgusting. When I asked them to sanitize they gave me an attitude . When I told him I was going to report them the man flipped me off. I called later and ask to speak to manager but the man refuse to give him the phone hung up on me and never let me speak to the manager. AWFUL SERVICE!!

If you value your health go elsewhere. Went in for a simple mens manicure. The next day my left hand was swollen and red. I ended up with a staph infection from the tools they used to trim my cuticles. It took 6 weeks for it to clear up and I have to get checked for Hepatitis every 6 months for the next 3 years because they use dirty instruments and do not properly sterilize them.

I have the best experience ever . The Hawaii pedicure is amazing . The salon is very clean and sanitized ., very friendly environment . This my my spot from now on

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.I really needed my nails done and my regular nail lady was busy, despite the negative reviews I read I decided to give it a shot since I live right here.FIRST, I got the deluxe pedicure with kelvin. Lets just say THE WORST pedicure Ive ever received. My feet were in the water for I swear about 8 min max!!! He took off my shellac then re-polished my shellac never scrubbed my feet at all!!! After he polished my toes he dipped them in the water and put the exfoliating on my legs and was done.At this point I was really pissed off, Im not one to say anything but I was going to once I paid.I got my nails done with Mimi, the nails were all shapes and sizes. From afar they looked OK but up close they looked like stick-ons. They continued to tell me how beautiful they were when I knew they looked horrible.I told the manager about my pedi as I was paying, he made kelvin scrub my feet real quick and I was done. Like really?? Isnt a pedi supposed to be some what relaxing.I felt horrible that I paid 110$ for messed up toes and nails. I woke up the next morning and I knew I needed my money back for at least my nails so I could get it done the right way!!! I made my boyfriend come with me cause I could tell these people were feisty.Sure enough we come and they proceed to tell me how beautiful the nails were and to show people around..,if they said they were ugly they would refund my money! Why would I do that? All I wanted was for them to take off the nails and refund. I also told the lady about my pedi and she said they dip your feet in the water after polish to make it last longer... Lol Ive never heard of that, I get shellac all the timThey took them off and gave me 50$ because 5$ was used for their service to take them off.I was never able to talk to the owner, but the people they have working will make them loose a lot of business. I can see I am not the first, and Im sure I wont be the last.I will not refer this place to anyone. The worst manicure that I have ever had in San Antonio. NO clean tools. PAID for Shellac but not smooth bubbles just a poor job, sloppy work. Quoted one price then tried to charge another.....crooks

I have never had a worse manicure in my life. I spent almost 2 hours here doing a dipped mani. First off, they kept switching out my manicurist and then when it was messy and bad, they mocked me and laughed at me instead of doing anything. Later, they admitted how bad it was (new person came over) and made it worse. Only getting a polish took almost 2 hours-no lotion, massage, cuticles, etc. never going back.

Terrible time here. KIM did my dip manicure and I have never been so unsafisifed with an experience. She was very messy. My skin and nail were stuck together and when I asked her to unstick my nails she did the minimum. After my service I had fried dip powder glued to my skin and she wouldnt remove it. She told me it would eventually come off. I should not have to leave a nail salon with my nails looking worse than they did before I came in. I will NOT be returning.

I went to go get dip & definitely wasnt worth $45 ! My nail have spots that are different colors than the dip its self ! the lady was very ruff with my nails, I also asked her to keep them the length I had them & she still cut them (really short ) . The dip is uneven & bumpy . never coming back again !!!
