If I could give no stars, I would. I really wanted to like this place, my sister has been here a couple times and has said it was great. However it was one of the worst dip sets I’ve sat for. I’m very disappointed because the color is very cute, however it came out clumpy, streaky, and uneven. Also, not to mention the wait was terrible, but I still wanted to give them a chance—we had an appointment for 3 and didn’t get to a table until 5.

This place is amazing I was scared on going, due to the bad reviews but my experience was great I went 2 times so far for lashes and nails .my nails messed up so called the next day they were super friendly redid them and didn’t want the tip I offered. They are kinda busy so make a appointment but other then that I’m really really happy with this place

I drive 30 minutes to come to Vinpearl! Tammy is fantastic at facials, nails and pedi. If you are looking for lashes Tina is also amazing for lashes! Everyone is so nice and welcoming!!

I first got a pedicure which was superb! My feet were soaked in a tub of nice warm water. My toenails were cleaned and trimmed to the length I like and then my calves were exfoliated and rubbed down with cream which really helped the circulation in my blood. Everything is done with so much care and professionalism.I then proceeded to my manicure which is done using a fill on my nails and shellac. I chose my color from chart. The old color was removed from my nails with a hand held machine file.The damaged shellac covering is removed and the nails are filed. A new nail is attached on to the nail that had lost its shellac. The new fill is applied to all the nails and then two new coats of shellac and a top coat. Each coat is dried after it is applied. In the end, there is oil rubbed over the finished nails. It is a wonderful experience to go through! You come out feeling like a new person!!

I’ve visited this place multiple times so the summary is - Pedicures are great! but the manicures here are very inconsistent. Sometimes they’re decent, but often they come out streaky and not smooth. Service is fast but the work does not meet the price.

Do not get me started on how unprofessional this place is. I have been here one time before and although they were rude I felt they did a decent enough job to re try them out, I had an appointment, a CONFIRMED appointment for two weeks. When I arrived ON TIME, they acted as if they did not know I had an appointment, I was quickly told to go to the back where nothing was prepped, also when I mentioned their online special which is still on their page!! They said no that is isn’t correct and they will not honor it, I said that’s fine, whatever. Then when I laid down to get my lashes done, they pulled my lash tech from my room, made me get up, and wait in another room for her to help someone else who had an appointment... This is in no way shape or form ok. It’s bad customer service and terrible business. Also, way to make people feel bad about themselves. Wonder if it’s because of my ethnicity. Truly. So disheartening for people to treat other people this way.

I called to make an appointment and asked which deals they were offering. A manager confirmed the promotion and even interrupted the conversation over the phone to ensure “I got the right information”. When I showed up for the appointment, they had no idea what I was talking about. Even though I am sure it was the same person I talked to on the phone and in person. I asked if there was anything else they could do and the manager just stared at me.I always come here and have noticed promotions being posted online but they aren’t following promotions and are not organized with the expiration dates. If you plan to use a promotion I would take screenshot and make sure to get the persons name.

I went in for classic eyelash extensions today, Bella did a great job. Each lash is placed perfectly on my lash line. Very professional, clean, and great customer service. I will be going back regularly:)

The worst feeling at a nail salon is feeling forgotten! I came in to take my dip nail off - a process that should take no more than 30 min. The receptionist had me sit in the back of the salon where I waited nearly 30 minutes for someone acknowledge me. Snow, the very nice manager asked if I was waiting for anything and then she got my service started. I waited for another 20 minutes again until someone remembered I was there and was finished 30 minutes later. The only reason that I have not given a once star review is that the employees were very kind.

I went on Sunday September 20th & treated myself to a more expensive pedicure for my Birthday - The Champagne & Rose. I was told to sit down before picking out a color for starters. Was not given champagne unless there was a misunderstanding, either way no one communicated to me. & I got a shellac pedicure. The gal painted my toes, & then did the actual rose part of the pedicure & Hot stone massage after my toes were painted. She also did the hot wax that goes over your feet. $80 later after tip & A week later, the polish has already begun to peel off completely. I am SO disappointed. I just noticed a second toe missing polish. Poor customer service & Low quality polish. Not worth the money I spent.

I will not be returning EVER! Ive also told my sister and niece about their poor quality and service. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! DONT COME HERE...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Saw Joseph and he did an AMAZING job on my dip French manicure and did an awesome job on my pedicure too, you can tell he really cares about his clients and takes the time to do a really great job. Other nail salons seem to rush you in and out like cattle but he took his time and did a wonderful job and made sure I was happy with everything, I will definitely be coming back to see him! Also the leg massage with the pedicure was HEAVEN!

Very pleased with both my shellac pedicure and dip nails by Joseph. He did a great job and was very polite throughout the process-this is my first time at the salon and it’s really nice-clean, very well done. Lots of services with good prices and everyone was quite nice. Got my brows done as well and I feel brand new 😍

The place was beautiful and nice staff. I was there for my first set of eyelash extensions and i was less than satisfied. My lashes felt and looked like broom bristles. Plus, there were too heavy for my eyes. I may still go back for manicures and pedicures but not for eyelash extensions.

Every time Ive come here Ive left happy. Sun did a really good job making a marble effect with dip for me, and Anna (could be Hannah after reading some reviews) is my new favorite. She took the time to go over each nail and make sure they were even and looked great. I got marble acrylic this time and she did a splendid job. Yall got a loyal customer now

I came to this salon from out of town. I had made an appointment for my friend and I. The technician sat us down and started our pedicure. We wanted the rose and champagne package. While my technician started mine the technician that was serving my friend said he didnt have time to do what we had scheduled. Not only that he didnt clean the stuff off that he had rubbed on her legs. The polish was not smooth and the cuticles are flooded with polish. We both then got a mani. I got a full set and she a fill. The technician wouldnt work with her saying the colors she was choosing where not okay. My mani turned out well but they didnt do the shape I wanted and they are very oddly shaped on the side. The price I was charged was greater than what was listed on the website. I paid $250 for underwhelming mano and pedi. Im very disappointed.

They were so kind to my 10 year old daughter and her friend. They did a great job and didnt make us feel like they were talking about us. I had read many reviews about other places and they were terrible. I will continue going there and taking others with me. Thank you for doing such a great job!

It was my first time coming to this place to get my lashes done. I was recommended this place by a friend and I really liked the girl that did it for me the first time. The second time I came to get my fills, I didn’t remember the girl’s name that did it for me before so I ended up with Wanda. The second experience I could feel that my lashes were stuck together... was very disappointed by that. I decided to write a review now because my my eyes have been irritated and red for a few days, my lashes feel like clumps when I brush them. Will not be coming back.

I normally give this place 5 stars as I have been going there for years now. However i have to give it only two stars today. My normal nail tech was not there today so I went a very young lady and she cut five out of my ten cuticles and made them bleed. I didnt say anything while I was there but it hurts like hell now and Im disappointed for the money I paid.

I have been going to this salon from time to time over the last couple years... recently, my mother and I went to get pedicures. We both got one of the more expensive pedicures and our technicians started at about the same time. Before my technician started to paint, I realized that she didnt file my nails, use the scrubber on the bottoms of my feet, use the tool to remove the dead skin from the bottom of my feet, and also only received a 2 minute massage when it is supposed to be 8 minutes. After bringing this to the owners attention, he proceeded to argue with me and ended up throwing the receipt at me and angrily saying take $10 off. Needless to say, I will never ever go back to this salon. Neither will my mother or anybody else I know. Still cant believe the amount of unprofessionalism that I received. DO NOT GO HERE. You are much better off going to Venetian nails less than half a mile down the road.

Had my lashes done with Sammy. She was great! Quick, polite and the best part, my lashes look AMAZING! I had a friend recommend her to me and I am glad I took her recommendation. Sammy used the volume lashes on me. They are a little more expensive then the others they offer but well worth it.Sammy does get booked so an appointment is a must for her. I called over a week in advance to get her!

I went yesterday and my nail technician was very rude and rough with my nails. The color didn’t come out the way I wanted and my nail technician was extremely rude and was distracted since she was on her phone. The shape is off and so is the color. I wasted my money, not worth it.

Had an appointment with a set of bridesmaids. Vinpearl offers complimentary drinks, the salon is beautiful and they have a good selection of services. I would have had a better time but my nail tech was so unfriendly, definitely to the point where I was uncomfortable. Everything I said or did seemed to annoy her despite my attempts to be kind. At one point she was done with one of hands and she kinda shoved it away. That being said, everyone else in our reservation was treated very nicely and had very sweet technicians. It just wasnt a relaxing experience for me like a nail trip should be due to the bad attitude my technician had, so unfortunately I will never go back.

I got a dip and the person who did my nails was very nice and did a great job I love the color this is my 2nd day with them and they were only $45 for dip there like acrylics but no liquid and they’re amazing if you. Don’t want your daughter to get acrylics love them ❤️❤️ The cleaning ness was good the only thing is that under the table to get your nails done there is a bunch of nails on the floor.

A friend and I went last weekend and It was the quickest shellac manicure we have ever had, they were done in 30 minutes, they were very quick and kind of rough. And to top it off, within 5 days, both of our shellac started peeling and now, 6 days later, i have 3 fingers with no polish at all. we are so disappointed and will most definitely not be returning.

The staff was nice and friendly. However, their service is too overpriced you can get better services/nails in other locations around town. Disappointed in the amount of money i paid for, $50 for a basic pedicure that is typically $25-30.

I went in this morning around 10am wanting to get a full set. I had showed the lady the way I wanted my nails as well as the shape. I noticed she wasnt doing a good job,and I said something about the way she filed my set of nails. She insisted my nail grew in that direction, and thats the way she was shaping them. However that had nothing to do with the way she was filing and shaping my nails. Some nails at the end were longer than others and uneven.You could tell that the acrylic didnt cover my full nail and it seemed as if I didnt have a full nail. I did notice that she kinda seemed to know she wasnt doing a good job,and that I wasnt happy. She filed more than enough and left my nails cricked,uneven, and just horrible. They also charged me $5 extra for the Shape I wanted which was stupid,because I have never gotten charged before for a styling shape.Overall, I got home taking them off myself. I should have gone back but I was really disappointed. I will it not be returning.

I like this place. Trini is the best. The facility is clean and folks are friendly. The vibe feels good. Definitely a returning customer. Prices arent cheap but you do get quality here and peace of mind. I really like this place!

Disappointed. Weve been going there for about a year now and its not consistent. We had our favorite people but apparently they had other appointments and shortened our $50 pedicure by 20 minutes.

I love my Classic eyelash extentions. I usually fall asleep when they apply them.

I got gel-nails and I did not enjoy it one bit. It was very quick and in the beginning one nail smudged and the lady did not fix it. And the color she used was not as dark as on she model she showed me and to top it all off there was a hair stuck in my thumb nail. It was suppose to last 4 weeks but mine only lasted 2 and to make matters worse the cut my cuticles to where the bald and were all red and cut all week. The lady who did me was not very nice and very demanding and the decor was nice but very loud with music and a t.v. I would never recommend or go back.

My personal favorite experience with acrylics, I have had some bad experiences with rushed work which resulted in cracking and or lifting. Vivian is my favorite person to get acrylics from. I like pedicures here also, they have nice seats and a soothing atmosphere. They have a large selection of shellac to choose from. I feel like the price is moderate for the area of San Antonio they are in.

Eyelash Extensions Experience:I went to get fake eyelash extensions-and they were pretty cool at first. Then my eyelash area started getting very sore after 3 weeks so I went to get them taken off professionally. I paid $20 there to make sure I didnt ruin my natural lashes.....I left the place soooo upset. The lash glue remover burned my eyes and my natural lashes got cut shorter as they were trying to remove the fake ones. I will never get lashes again.To be fair, I have sensitive skin, but in general-I thought the lash application and removal process was very very uncomfortable. My eyes burned both times. I would like to say that the staff was very friendly and never gave me attitude, so I am thankful for that.If you dont have sensitive skin and eyes then maybe this is a good idea for you. I think my greatest discomfort came from the removal process because it stung a lot and they cut my own natural lashes.Ive never had anything else done there so this review is ONLY meant for my eyelash extension experience.

Worst experience ever. Went in for a new set of acrylics and came out completely disappointed. Very rude, very rough and super rushed once he finally started my nailn, almost 45 minutes after seating me, then I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he made a big deal about how he could not do it because he didnt know how. So I said no problem and settled for something simple. I asked for SQUARE nails and got DUCK nails instead. The shapes were so uneven, thick and just overall not what I expected after reading some of the good reviews. I will not be returning.

I had gotten a next gen manicure done and was leaving on vacation the next day so no time to redo manicure. Ive had this manicure done many times so I wasnt expecting a disaster. Boy was I wrong! They had some man do my nails who was extremely rough. The drummel tool kept slipping and removing skin off my fingers causing blood to flow. He then totally butchered my nails with the file. They were reverse u shapes, uneven, sharp and VERY SHORT!!! He files them with your hand up in the air so this could be part of the problem. When it came time to start dipping my fingers he missed half of my nails and it looked like my manicure was already 2 weeks old. I looked like I had hobbit fingers!!! Then when he told me to wash my hands at the end, all the polish bubbled and came off!!! It was a total disaster. He had already left because it was just passed closing so another woman tried to fix the disaster. She didnt offer me a refund or anything!!! They also try to force you to pay in cash which is illegal. Its just so they dont have to declare tips for tax purposes. I would never go back!!!

One of the worst pedicures. Immediately tried to sell the $65 pedicure. Requested the deluxe for $40. She kept looking at her watch and took a cell phone call. Offered a drink. Customer next to me spilled it. Was not offered another. Did not use sanitized pedicure set. Will not return.

I’m very disappointed in how my situation was handle. I had my eyelashes done and they all fell off within 10 days. When I had a chance to call and spoke with management they told me it was too late and would only give me a $20 discount to redo them. I explained the situation how my lashes from the first technician was still one but the lashes from the last technician who did them all fell out. Which only can conclude that the last technician did something wrong. Needless to say I will not be returning and will not recommend this place to anyoneAny longer. My conclusion is...,,,it’s a hit and miss and do not expect any fair compensation when something goes wrong. NOT WILLING TO ADMIT IT WAS THERE FAULT.

I usually don’t complain about services rendered, unless it is beyond upsetting. I wanted to get my nails done for a few interviews I had that day. I went to the salon 2 hours in advanced. I have never had an appointment last longer than an hour or so. To begin when I showed up, I showed the lady a picture of a design that I wanted. Three fingers were to be matte black and two an almost natural looking color with a heart on the tip in black. Does not seem to be anything complicated. They suggested dipped powder nails. I’ve never had dipped nails before but I was open to it. They called out a gentleman to do my nails, he seemed very friendly. He asked me to see the picture. I asked him if he could do it matte like the picture. He said yes but for me to pick my other color. He started getting everything out and I asked him if I could also get a manicure. I craft a lot and my hands are a little rough. He said no it takes to long anyways he would be cutting off the cuticles so it’s almost a manicure. I was thrown off a bit but didn’t want to stress myself out with my interviews that day. He started cutting the cuticles and on my left pinky he cut too much. I started bleeding. Enough so that he had to have a paper towel to wipe off the blood every few minutes. He just smiled and said oh oops. I said it’s okay. So he continued added the tips he asked me how long? I said very short, as short as you can get them. He cut the middle finger tip and showed me the length. It was short like I asked. That is the only nail that is the length I wanted. All of my nails are different lengths. Then he started sanding them down only to loose his grip and the drill rolled off my nail and started sanding my finger. Nothing major, no bleeding but a little bit of a raw spot. Once again a smile and an oops. This time with a giggle. I just looked at him. He started with the dipping process. I loved the matte black look and was excited to see the finished product. He dipped each nail about three times. I noticed they were very uneven. I thought well maybe once he stands them down will they look ok. We went on. Then he did the other color. I liked the color they were coming out good. Until he noticed something on my left pointer finger. I don’t know what he saw but then he pulled out his drill and sanded the left half of the tip down to the nail. He then started the dipping process for that one corner. You can tell the difference, very ugly. One of the other nail techs sat down next to him and they were conversing in their language and I knew they were talking about his mess up. But they were laughing about it and I think of me too, which is rude! It really irritated me. Once he completed that he started the sanding process again. 8 out of my ten fingers have cuts on them from his over sanding. It has been four days since I received my nails and my fingers still hurt when I put them in water. One of them is infected. It is red and puffy and sore to the touch. He then started painting the nails with a clear coat on all of my nails. It turned the beautiful matte black nails to this high shine black. Not what I wanted at all. He then started cleaning his station up and was filling out his ticket when the lady reminded him about the hearts. He started laughing and said oh I forgot. He then started the “complicated” task of painting hearts on my nails. It took him twenty minutes to do four hearts. The appointment lasted nearly two hours. I was late to my interview by 15 minutes. If I wouldn’t have had that interview I would have complained then and not paid the $50. At the end of the day I talked myself out of calling and complaining but as the week has progressed and my fingers still hurt from all the cuts and my finger being infected, I finally decided to say something. I should not have had to pay, my nails and fingers look absolutely horrid, and the service was insulting. I am having the nails removed and going somewhere else. I understand mistakes happen, but own up to them and try to make them right. I will never return to this place.

I’ve been coming here since last June at least twice a month. I never know who I’m getting or what kind of service I’ll get. No one takes the time to remember who I am. Every time I walk in, it’s like they’ve never seen me before. I like a personable nail tech, which I’ve never experienced here. The quality of manis and pedis vary with the person.The environment is clean, I’ll give them that. One specific occasion: They are pushy. I told them no to the dip powder, they pushed me to it, and now I’m recovering from thin, broken nails. I expressed this to them beforehand but they promised it wouldn’t happen. WRONG! They definitely don’t listen to their customer. They won’t hold a convo either.Even though this salon is 4 mins away from where I live, I’ve stopped going. My old nail girl started doing nails again and she’s worth the 15 min drive.Maybe y’all will have better experience than me. I just got tired of it and I was starting to hate getting my nails done.

Usually have a decent experience here, however the last couple of times have been poor. I came in for a pedicure and they assigned a man, who I chose a deluxe pedicure with. He not only messed up the shellac (were white places all over my nail and he had to go over it 3 times AFTER I brought it to his attention..) also messed up the acrilic I had put on my big toes. There was no decent massage, and the whole thing lasted only 30 minutes. For a $70 pedicure, I should have had way better treatment! Not happy at all!!! And when I complained, they took me back and redid the schellac, but there was no massage or redo of the pedi. Will NOT be returning again after al its a year of spending my money in this establishment.
