A great steakhouse experience! If our service was a little better and our steaks a little more fresh, this dinner would’ve been closer to a 5 star experience. Unfortunately, I felt like we waited a little too long for each interaction with the staff and our waiter, leading us to wait for drinks/refills. Besides that though, all of the food we ordered was very good. For starters, the Grilled Tequila Shrimp was delicious. The flavor and amount of the sauce provided was perfect and definitely left us wanting more. The Potato Crusted Calamari was solid, with the peppers and sauce providing a good mix of flavors and textures. The steaks were all cooked perfectly and had great crusts, but came out more room temp than piping hot. That threw us off a bit, but not enough to disappoint the meal. The side sauces were hit or miss, with the Roquefort being the better of the two and the Cognac Pepper being more lackluster. The side dishes of Lobster Risotto and Susie’s Famous Mashed Potatoes were both good, but not great. All three of our desserts were tasty and gave us a tasty end to our dining experience. The Chocolate Mousse Cake that came with one of our Restaurant Week orders was a nice mix of textures, with the candied pecans and chocolate chips on top making each bite better than the last. The Half Baked and Chocolate Tres Leches Cake were amazing and ended up being nice compliments to one another. Worked out perfectly for our group, as some wanted a more chocolate-heavy dish and others wanted something more balanced. Overall, it was a pretty solid dinner. I’ll likely look into other options next time, but would still recommend it for anyone looking for a nice steak experience.

Kirby’s Culinaria Restaurant Weeks 2021 prix fixe menu is one of the best values of the program. Ask to be seated in Isaac’s section, every time.

Food and service was exceptional. Only restaurant I know that can offer the black and blue cook on steaks and get it right.

Meal was terrible. Food tasted as though microwaved. Service was good. Our server was amazing. Management was decent. Apologized and offered free desert. Honestly was disappointed with the food so didnt even want desert. The Moscato was great though

The vegan wife and the meat eater husband (me) were in town for a wedding and Kirbys Steakhouse was recommended to our group by one of the hotel staff as a place to eat where we could get quick service and good food. As we arrived we were seated immediately and the waiter, who was very attentive introduced himself and started with our orders. The wife ordered the Mushroom Risotto ($14.00) and I ordered the Lobsters Mac and Cheese ($26.00). The meals arrived within 30 minutes, which given the current climate of decreased help and our party of 12 I felt was on par. The presentation of all meals was good and we dived right in. After a few bites (I always like to get a few on the palette, before determining if it is acceptable) I can say that the Lobster Mac and Cheese was quite good. As for the vegan wife she felt hers was average and although there were a fair amount of vegetables on the menu, there were not many dishes designed for vegans-but to be fair we were at a seafood and steak house. So why the three stars? One of the worst issues that I have experienced at restaurants over the years is lack of a main ingredient! There was plenty of macaroni and cheese, but very little lobster, and for the price paid, this ingredient should have been a plenty!

Our first dish was the Boursin Cheese bread. This wasn’t bad and maybe the best thing we had. Crunchy bread and nice flavor to the cheese spread. I ordered a Cesar Salad which for the price was lackluster to say the least. The Dressing was pretty bland, what little I had and the croutons if homemade had zero flavor. My main course was 10 oz Filet. The steak was cooked to perfection. My baked potato on the side was large and came with all the fixings. My wife ordered the beef steak tomato salad to start. The salad was a nice size portion and tasted good. For her entrée she ordered the mushroom risotto. I’m not sure how this was prepared but this was definitely not mushroom risotto. It looked and tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer bin for several hours. We mentioned this to the server and he mentioned that to the manager in front of us which was a little unprofessional but they did take the item off the ticket good. For dessert we decided to share the pecan pie with ice cream. The pie wasn’t bad but I would say that a pecan pie should have a soft layer of pecans on top with a filling and then crust. This pecan pie seemed to be just one thick layer of pecans that weren’t cooked fully. It’s rare that I don’t finish dessert but I say we left at least half of it. For $130 tab I wish we had a better experience.

Amazing evening! Stayton was the best! Hes super friendly, courteous and personable. It wouldnt have been an amazing experience without him. We started at the bar with happy hour drinks and lamb chops. So good. Then made our way to dinner. We enjoyed Cesar salad, the Steak n Cake, Ribeye and baked potato. All the while Stayton was on point. Perfectly timed service. The steaks were a perfect rare temperature and the crab cake was so crabby. A truly lovely experience. Everyone we came in contact with was a total professional. We felt like rockstars.

Steak was bad! Service was bad! Asked for coffee with my desert which I never got! This really was the worse steak I have ever had! This was not my first time at kirbys! I have now given them 4-5 chances and been disappointed every time! Well, no more! Tonight was my last visit!

I am not sure why this restaurant still open and has such high rating. Both my husband and I went for a date night after having a newborn and we spend $$$ but I’m not impressed. Not only was the ambiance not great and it mostly felt like sitting in a conference room but the food was disgusting. It had no flavor and taste. We ordered steak and it was tasteless the presentation was basically nothing. A piece of meat on a white plate. Side dishes were terrible. But despite all that we still didn’t want to think negative however, since that night both my husband and I have stomach aches and flu. Three hours after eating we both were complaining about how our stomach was hurting. I would recommend everyone to safe their money and just go to Perry’s. It cost the same.

Excellent upscale steak/seafood restaurant. Steaks are grilled perfectly. Love the peppercorn cream sauce. Seafood is fresh. Crabcakes have lots of crab meat with little filler. Sides are generous portions. Recommend the scallop potatoes. The chocolate cake and pecan pie are outstanding.

Great service! Team of three made sure we were well cared for during our dinner! The food was quite tasty. We started with several appetizers and all were very good. Crab scampi was hands down, the BEST! At our table, we had the crab surf and turf and the huys had steaks. All were well prepared and served promptly. Drinks were also well prepared. Exceptional place, cant wait to go back! Happy hour here has several drink specials and deals on appetizers.

Kirbys is a nice steakhouse and everything was emaculate and the service on point. The one thing I like most is the number of add ons, specials, and enhancements they offered. We had a normal menu and a tablet with a number of additional options. My wife ordered on-menu and got the 7 oz filet with a horseradish crust and the large Oscar. I went off menu and got the 18oz smoked ribeye with the horseradish crust and blue cheese. Both steaks were cooked perfect and good. We also order a side of lobster Mac 😋 and my wife got the ceasar and I the Kirby Salad. My wife enjoyed her ceasar and my salad was top notch.

Always a nice meal with great service. The goat cheese appetizer is really good with lots of garlic. My filet was perfect. Both the cheesecake and chocolate cake were a great way to finish the meal.

We have enjoyed our past dining experiences but this was over the top! It began with a wonderfully fun young lady that answered the phone when we made our reservation. We were all laughing as we hung up. When we arrived, she happened to be at the front desk. Our server, Sonny, was just great! Never a rush, always attentive and professional. And, I had one of the best steaks that I had ever had in a restaurant too. The manager (he is a sommelier) even came by and helped us with our wine selection. All-in-all, it was a perfect evening for us. We will certainly return!

Kirbys Steakhouse is a place that requires visiting, to begin the restaurant opens at 5:00 PM, but the Bars Happy Hours starts at 4:30 PM, so come on time for Happy Hour or come on time for the restaurant, you will be pleased. Tonight it was Salmon and Rib Eye Steak both served enough to eat or simply take home and the sweet desert is an ideal of decreasing the effects of a margarita or Martini, all combined with a staff that works in clockwork team faction that is politite and keep your table clean and ready for more. Kirbys Steakhouse is an ideal restaurant for anyone wanting great tastes, great drinks and a friendly staff.

First and foremost thank you Jazia. I dont know if thats how its spelled. She was outstanding with the service we received. The FOOS was the best we had. We were here to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary and we can say that your restaurant outstanding in service and food.

Kirby’s Steakhouse happy hour, 5 star caliber eatery with an awesome happy hour and great place to people watch, tonite there’s scotch tasting and has this upscale bar hoping, as always service is on point and friendly, Chris, Melissa and Cory are true mixologists and know their craft extensively, become a regular and get treated like royalty here. My bride and I love the $6 glass Cabernet happy hour price and the happy hour menu with its $5 per item price is heaven to your taste buds, try them all! There’s a reason this place attracts the area’s “well to do’s”, you can’t go wrong with Kirby’s awesome happy hour, get here early to get a seat and enjoy!

I took my friend out to dinner at Kirbys last night. They were AWESOME from start to finish. First of all, they called to confirm the reservation I made online. They asked if this was a special visit and I told them that it was my friends birthday. She said they would give us a booth. When we got there, the service was absolutely outstanding! Our waiter, Roy was fantastic and we were treated like we were the only ones there. The head waiter came up, noticed that we were having difficulty trying to halve the steak ( a 24 oz. Rib Eye) and he offered to take it in the back and slice it for us, which he did. Then our waiter brought my friend a huge chocolate cake with ice cream. He took our picture, and after developing it, he brought us the picture in an envelope with Happy Birthday written on the outside of the envelope. All in all, it was by far the very best experience. I commented on how exceptional the waiter was and the lady at the front desk said she would enter that on the computer with my name so that the next time we come in, he would be assigned to us.ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EVENING!

First off, staff is amazing. From our waiter to the hostess, everyone was great! The food was absolutely amazing! Only issue, we had set a reservation for 8 people about 4 days prior to our dinner for 7 pm on Saturday. We arrived at 6:50, all 8 of us and we didnt get seated until a little after 7:30. By the time we ordered and ate, we didnt get out of there until almost 10:30. Like I said, customer service and food was amazing, but spent alot longer there then we had wanted to....

Food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Our entire table of 6 were blown away by the food. From the wonderful choices of appetizers, sides and their oh so amazing steaks and lobsters. To the delicious desserts. There was not one thing that any of us ordered that we were not pleased with. They have an amazing wine and spirit menu. And the Customer Service was IMPECCABLE!! A True reflection of how customer service should be offered. We will definitely be returning!!

I had never been here, but was there for a convention and we picked this place for a corporate dinner and I dont regret it. My steak was delicious, the sides were all great, I dont normally like vodka much, but the vodka they served us was amazing. Yes the prices are high, but the portions you get are a good size, and the prices arent out of line for any other comparable steakhouse. Our waiter was amazing. He was attentive and funny, and he was just great overall. I took his menu suggestions on what to order and was not disappointed.

We went for our anniversary, which happens to be Valentines Day. The menu was a set menu, but so many options, and a great value as well. The highlight was definitely the food and our server, who recommended an alternate wine to the one we had picked to better accompany our entrees. We were so pleased with this visit. I know valentines day out can be a huge disappointment at some venues, but Kirbys lives up to the hype and the price. Expect to spend some serious cash, but the atmosphere and service and quality of food are worthy.

Let me also note that we moved here from the Virgin Islands, which boasts its fair share of excellent culinary experiences.Service was stellar - and I worked with one of the best restaurants in St Thomas, so I know what stellar service should look like. Food? Dont know where to start. By the end of it wed had 5 perfectly timed courses and everything was divine. My husband and I did the Angus Terderlion and Japanese Wagyu for two - brilliant idea on the chefs part to pair the two and allow the diner to really experience the Wagyu difference.To top it all off, our server Melissa came to the table with a camera to take our picture. I figured it was for the restaurants own website/social media until she came back with a Happy Anniversary card that included a PRINTED copy of the picture and a coupon for $20 off our next visit. No charge for the photo btw.Was it a cheap meal? No, but its not meant to be. We chose Kirbys because the menu looked intriguing online and our anniversary was a good excuse to treat ourselves. We had no idea how treated we would end up being.Thank you to Melissa, the other floor and kitchen staff, and the chef for such an amazing evening.

I went to Kirbys last night. I had a 7:15 reservation for five. I was seated without hesitation. I was celebrating with some friends that do not normally eat at such a fine establishment. My waiter was a man named Jesse. The service was average...being that I eat at Kirbys often, I am used to great service and food...which is exactly why I took my special guests there to dine.For sides...we ordered two baked potatoes to be spit in the kitchen and a side of creme corn. When the entrees arrived one potato was never delivered. Most of the food was warm, not hot. I should have suspected something when my steak was bare handed to me without the normal hot plate warning and no sizzle! The food was served by two waitstaff people, neither was Jesse. I can only assume or entrees had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. After I summoned Jesse about the one missing potato it arrived cold and whole, not split in the kitchen as requested. It was not until I got home and looked at my bill that I realized that the creme corn was never served yet the $8 charge was right there on my bill! I paid for something I never got!Two years ago this restaurant was 5 Star but not any longer. Try Ruth Chris, Myrons, Flemings, or Bobs for great service and sizzling hot steaks!

Great food package for Valentine’s day!

Great service and easy to make a reservation a couple hours in advance on busy evenings. Food and ambiance are decent. The Lobster MAC & cheese is a fave here. The food good, but nothing overly exciting. A bit pricey in comparison to taste of some higher-end establishments I’ve dined at. Overall, I’ll probably eat here on occasion but it wouldn’t be a first choice. Thanks for the great service!

Ive been here only for my birthday for the past two years. It is my favorite place for fancy dining. I was impressed by the service and how well they cater to you. The free dessert at the end never disappoints and the free picture is a nice touch. I recommend if your looking to celebrate something special. Meal for 2 with wine is around $150-$200

Amazing experience! Had a wagyu steak for the first time. Beautiful, creamy, melt in your mouth exquisite. We had the butter aged 20oz steak as well as the 18oz mesquite smoked rib eye. Each one stands out in unique ways. The herbs and spices saturate every single bite of butter aged steak. The mesquite smoked rib eye has a very well rounded flavor that continues to evolve and linger through your meal. For the appetizers we had, the pork belly, lamb chops & seafood sampler. Pretty much recommend anything on the menu from what we tasted today. Creme brulee and the tawny port make a beautiful combination. Kirbys coffee was also a nice way to end a wonderful meal.

The appetizer was good, the steak was very good, but the asparagus needed some flavor. The waiter did not inform me that the steak did not come with a side, he just served me a piece of meat on a plain plate. He did not offer a side, I had to call him back in order to find out what sides they offered. The service overall was alright but not what I had expected. I had visited this place once before and the service at that time was excellent. So I figured why not go for our anniversary, slight disappointment.

I love this restaurant! They are top notch when it comes to food. Certainly what is expected at a restaurant of this caliber. But their customer services is the best Ive seen in any restaurant in town. Even on busy holidays, they always do their absolute best to accommodate. They call back when they say they will, even when they dont say they will theyll call when they are able to work something out. They just go far beyond the other high end steakhouses in town. Very impressed.

I am in my mid-70s and I have eaten at all the best restaurants in town and Kirbys beats them all. It is so good that I have a standing reservation for my wife and me once a week. Everything, (including the ambience, food, wine selection, managers and wait staff) is always picture-perfect. When we have visitors that we want to impress or special friends would like to celebrate a special occasion, we take them to Kirbys Steakhouse. My wife and I have tried almost everything on the menu and it is always delicious.The managers (Matt, Bree, and Billy) are delightful and always take time to stop by, greet us, and ask about our dining experience. The entire wait staff (especially Richard and Roy) are nothing less than perfect and bring their A-game for providing service.

It is the best steakhouse in town. I have a standing reservation every week and I drive 40 miles round trip to enjoy the wonderful food, atmosphere, and excellent service. The management and support staff are second to none. Wow, wow, and wow. This place is the real deal for fine dining.

Wonderful service and food. The waiters had very classy yet fun characters. That combo seems hard to come by now. You wont get a cheap meal here but one of the few places I can say that the food is well worth cost.

When to celebrate my wifes birthday there. The place was a 5 Star Steakhouse and the staff is great. Roy was our man at our table and took care of us like we were his only guests. I say guests because he treated us that way. The steaks we had were to die for and dessert was heaven on a plate with ice cream.Been to other steak houses in town but Kirbys is far ahead of the game. My compliments to the management. 5 stars
