I have owned my 2816 machine for over a year now and I think its so important to share my experience after owning it for a longer period of time. I still to this day am so happy and confident in my purchase with the AP Lazer. AP Lazer has always followed through on everything they said they would before finalizing my purchase. I utilize tech support line often and always get my questions or issues sorted out. Tech support always seems to have a solution. I also appreciate the user group on Facebook. AP Lazer has created such a wonderful community or network of users and business owners willing to support each other. I love showing my machine off and Im very proud of my purchase. I have no regrets and Im so grateful I researched and found the best laser machine on the market!
Hands down the best purchase I have ever made. AP Laser customer service and tech are phenomenal. I could literally write a book with the amount of times I have called them due to operator error and they patiently walk me through the software issues I have every single time. I have owned my laser almost a year now and I have not had one single mechanical problem. With the removable bed, I have not had to turn down one custom order because of size restrictions. If you are looking for a laser, do yourself a favor, contact an AP Laser salesperson and let them tell you about their machines. You wont be sorry!
AP Lazer is a top notch company. I have had my laser nearly 2 months now. I have had a few issues (totally on me....not their laser) and every time I have called tech support I have received excellent help!! Their units are turn key complete packages. Literally uncrate your machine, set it up, connect the laptop (which comes with each laser) and start having a blast!!! I promise you this, I will own another AP Lazer unit when I am ready for a larger machine. They set the bar for quality and customer support!!!

Our business was researching a laser engraving machine capable of long run times, with a full size workspace and the durability to handle many hours per day. Weve had our machine, SN4836 with a 48 x 36 work surface for almost a year now. With no downtime experienced and a customer service team that answers our calls and helps resolve any issues, mainly custom design work, we couldnt have partnered with a better team. We continue to grow our business and experiment with the many options laser engraving has to offer.
Poor quality Chinese made machine assembled in Canada pretending to be American. While the customer service is 24/7 the tech you are likely to talk to will have no idea how to fix the problem. They just randomly send you new parts until they give up on you.
Machine is great. Results are great. Training leaves a LOT to be desired. When you spend this much money and they promise you in depth on site training they should deliver. NOT the case. I am still struggling after 10 months of ownership with some issues. Some items promised when I purchased never showed up.
We got our laser in early May and have been nothing short of amazed with the lasers capabilities and the mountain of support from both AP and the other people who also own lasers its truly like a family!
I bought an ap lazer for the service which is supposed to be the best in the game. I had issues setting up my laser. A man in the tech department said he’d call me back and never did. I called them back and got the same answer, they didn’t record any of the information I told them from last time and tried to get me to go through the same steps as before that didn’t work. Finally they decided to send me a replacement part (for my brand new machine I might add, why are parts already bad) only for me to call back a week later because they forgot to ship it.
Wonderful people. Wonderful service. I can’t praise them enough. They take care of their customers.
Start up of the machine was quick and easy. The laser has done what we hoped it would do. We have a demanding application for it and it has performed extremely well for us.
We started out with a glowforge 3 years ago. We researched lasers for a year before we pulled the trigger on our SN2816 AP Lazer. Customer service and open architecture design sealed the deal for us. Kyle was our saleman. He was great to work with. We have had our SN2816 for just over a year now. The customer service does NOT STOP when the paperwork is finished. A year laster and everyone at AP LAZER still reaches out to us to see how the laser is running. We have Since added a SN1812 to our lineup. From the moment we contacted AP Lazer to ask a million questions to getting our machine and learning how to use it (still asking a million questions) we have had a wonderful experience. We were real scared of this whole experience, but once we got Mandi from Sales on the phone it couldn’t have gone smoother. There were setbacks, but they were out of their control and we were kept updated even after we called 17 times in one day to ask the same questions about COVID impacts and timelines. We are several weeks in on our new machine and love it.
This has been an amazing journey we have entered into. The machine is great and the customer service has been awesome. If I had any complaint would be need a little more training than one day. Maybe an online Q&A where they can watch you as you try to process some of the files and pictures.

I have been using the AP lazer for past 2 years. During that time frame I have had zero issues. When I have had questions the customer service has always responded and answered all my questions quickly and efficiently. When I started researching lasers last year I almost instantly gravitated towards APLazer. Its open concept and 24/7 Support made it easy to commit to this company. My sales rep.(Shannon Hartwick) provided all the information I requested and was never pushy or persistent through the whole process. Once I decided that the 1812 was the right fit and ordered it in December of 2019, the delivery of my machine was delayed due to the Covid Pandemic. Shannon and the AP family kept me well informed and I was given instant access to AP University and the Facebook page user group. It was there that I made friends and learned a great deal about the huge profit potential. Once I received my laser there was a brief learning curve, but within a week I was selling my creations. Now I’m specializing in pet memorials and selling 2-5 a week. The versatility of this machine, combined with the support and user group helped make this the best business decision I have ever made. PROS:Buying a high end piece of equipment is a potentially scary process. After all, you are betting a lot on getting the necessities of a great product, great service, and a reasonable price. Kyle was awesome to deal with! The customer service I experienced was literally outstanding! I made a lot of phone calls. Every one was answered very quickly and the feeling I got from the tech support and general staff was you have a problem, oh no, well get someone to help you as close to immediately as possible! I was surprised to find out there was support available even after hours. The whole tech support crew was incredible. After my first call I knew that I had made a great choice with AP Lazer. The unit itself is amazing, but I really believe the best part is the service after the sale. The open architecture features open up potential NOBODY else offers!CONS:This is a hard one!I loved everything about dealing with them and the laser itself is a joy to work with. I just wish they would come up with a more comprehensive training program in using the software. The learning curve was tough, but in all fairness, because of my own scheduling issues, I was not able to be trained for months after the purchase. I was a construction superintendent for a commercial construction firm out of Florida and traveled extensively with nearly no notice and would be gone for months at a time. As a result, for me, I had to figure it out the hard way. They offered to schedule me for training numerous times and I had to keep stalling it off due to my work schedule. The only hard part I had was in adapting color photos to vector files so printing on granite etc. could be done with high quality. I had a lot of experience with photo manipulation, but converting these files is a different animal. You have to produce an image that looks degraded on the screen to get a beautiful image on the granite. Eventually I got there but I really would have been happy to pay for a comprehensive training program that was tailored to what I was doing to get there faster. In reality, one days training only scratches the surface. I am told that they are in the process of developing an extended training program like what I am suggesting. Hopefully it will be a reality soon for all of you and your businesses.Dont take this as a negative review on my part, I am flat out impressed with AP Laser and would consider no other source for a laser. Ask for Kyle! You wont find a better guy to work with when looking for a laser. Also note that AP LAZER is how they spell it. With a Z not with an S as the proper spelling would show up. If you look up aplaser it goes to someone else.
