Food and atmosphere is great!Our server wasnt as attentive as I would like but good enough. I had the Jalapeno Pesto Fazzaletti and it was delicious, but they served it in plate with a deep center which made it hard to cut into.The calamari was delicious.Definitely my favorite Paesanos in San Antonio.

Paesanos is the place you’d want to take your date or family for consistently great Italian. The ambiance is amazing! Why? Because the lighting is perfect for something intimate OR a lively get together. It’s one of those restaurants that make it easy to just sit and talk for three hours. How do I know? That’s what we did!Our server, Alberto, was super attentive and accommodating. We were not in want of bread, that’s for sure!The food was wonderfully prepared, delicious, and hot. Sauces were not overwhelming nor too subtle. We loved the atmosphere, the service, and the food!

We celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary today and our meal was delicious! Great customer service and we dined in and had no issues with social distancing. Everything was nice.

Nice and cool day in the outdoor seating with umbrellas providing shade. Wife and I got shrimp Paesanos (of course), 5 to an order to take some home. Pasta has garlic butter sauce, but kind of plain in taste. Salad had plenty of different lettuces but only three cherry tomatoes and a few cucumbers, nothing else.

Had a great time. Food was awesome. Staff and service great. We are from Laredo, so love going to experience dining in other cities. This place really captures the whole San Antonio lifestyle.

We had a party of 11 for dinner. Service was great. Food was great. Prices were reasonable. We had a great meal and a great time. Only negative was we had to wait for quite some time to get seated, even with a reservation. We were told 3 times that our table would be ready in minutes. That didnt happen and we waited for more than an hour. But in the end, we still had an enjoyable evening.

Firsr time at this restaurant for a reception. Very nice and casual but still very tastefully appointed place. Only had limited menu choices as is typical for large group reservations. I had the shrimp pasta which was good. Shrimps were very fresh, with the spaghetti al dente and a very good sauce. The wait staff were very friendly and courteous. It was not very crowded but a lot of people were coming in to pick up to-go orders. MThe other menu choices were chicken piccata and pot roast. My dining companions seemed to like them.Will definitely come back and try their other menu items.

My husband and I went for a date night at Paesanos and it was amazing! The food and rinks were made to perfection and the staff was friendly and quick to serve. This will definitely be a regular date location for us!!

Birthday dinner! Originally we planned on visiting a different establishment, but they were unable to accommodate us. Called Paesanos, and they were so helpful with our last minute change! Very thankful. They do not accept reservations, but our wait time was super quick. Our server was AMAZING, absolutely loved her, but I dont remember name. We had a big group and her energy level was constant throughout! Very on top of things, and super sweet. Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday in a great way Paesanos! :-)

Food was amazing! Delicious pizza, bread and pasta!! Only problem is the service. We had a very large party, before we started ordering we all made sure to tell the waiter how to break up the check. At the end of service we were left sitting there for 15 minutes for the servers first attempt to get the checks right. They were all mixed around so we gave him a second and a third try to get the checks divided the way we had requested in the beginning, but it proved to be too complicated for the man. We ended up just paying for what ever ticket he handed us and just paying back people in the end. Completely ridiculous. We made it as easy as possible and yet he couldnt get it right. Ended up staying almost an hour after we finished our meals just trying to pay for what we ordered. The kitchen. Did an amazing job though! Only reason the place is getting a 4 star!

Website shows open at 11am. They opened at 5pm. Shrimp Paesano usually their best dish was ok. Something different about the shrimp. And it was not good. The pasta it came with was fine. We literally drove from Dallas to celebrate my birthday- this weekend, and eat here. I once ate here 4 days in a row while training. Not sure what happened. Disappointed.

My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate our anniversary and had wonderful service. Our server’s name was Janie and she was so friendly and kind. She answer all our questions and helped us pick out our wine and dessert. Along with that Evan the manager came by and check in to see if we were enjoying our selves which was so nice of him. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try this restaurant out. This has been one of the best services I have ever received and I know we will be coming back!

I had the pleasure of hosting my daughter’s graduation dinner here and was blown away with my experience. The coordinator Haley was very responsive to all of my questions and her response time via email was always a quick turnaround. The sever Bryan was excellent and handled our guests without incidents. And kudos to the manager Mike who stepped in and assisted us with a projector issue. The food was GREAT as always. Our guests and most importantly my daughter were very pleased. Mike the manager and Reagan the hostess was so kind when I came in to the restaurant by myself. I realize it is Mother’s Day and all seating is full.They were not sitting at the bar at all. Although others in my party enjoyed their food, I had the paella and was very disappointed. It was a little overcooked, had little flavor and really wasnt much food since it had several clams and muscles in the shells. That dish should be served in a larger dish and needs much more spice. Choose something else if you go here.

Excellent meal. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection as was the JB chicken dish. Our server Mauricio did a great job taking care of our needs, he was very well informed on all of the menu items.

The scallops and spaghetti were delicious, our server Chelsea E. was very attentive. A 6 star experience.

Paesanos is great for dinner or lunch. I recommend an assortment of lunchtime appetizers. If you are keto like me, there are excellent choices and substitutions possible. The waitstaff and very friendly and the ambiance is terrific. And you can actually talk and hear the person across the table. Why eat at some sun baked strip mall when you can for the same price be surrounded by mature oaks and a lovely water garden?

The ambience here is wonderful. Service always spot on. The food!! Delicious! The lamb melts in your mouth. The Fettuccine Margaret is flavorful. Dont get me started on their divine bread. Try them once and you will be back again.

Once again Haley and the entire Paesanos 1604 team outdid themselves and made me look like I planned my fingers to the bone. I have hosted birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, post memorial gatherings and now a baby shower there. The food, table placement, linens, and table flowers were all put together and made me look like I planned my fingers to the bone. Servers Ryan and Brian and team kept drink glasses full and food rotation moving. They even loaded gifts into the cars! Thank you so much. Well be back!

Absolutely amazing. Wait was expected to be 45 minutes, but we were seated in about 15. Food arrived very shortly despite the restaurant being packed, and the food was very elegant and delicious. Highly recommend if youre looking for a fancy evening meal.

This place is very beautiful and clean. The outside area is so inviting and the inside is very nice and climate controlled for those super hot Texas days. I have tried at least four or five main dishes. All of them were great. Excellent food with excellent ingredients. Great quality food. A bit on the pricey side but you absolutely get what you pay for. Excellent date night spot. Incredible fancy lunch place. Try for yourself. I loved it so I will be back.

Our favorite restaurant in SA. Coming from Jersey we missed our Italian food and this place is on par with what we were used to. They do have a different take on some dishes like paella. I am used to the Spaniard and Portuguese versions of it, but still delicious! I can’t say enough good things about the food, wine and service. The one waiter always remembers us and plays with our child. It feels like home every time we walk through the door.

A beautiful restaurant with good food and service. I had the Shrimp Paesano Petite and enjoyed it. Though I did like it I found it to be a bit expensive. But again its a beautiful restaurant seemingly set in the woods so this is more about the experience than the food itself in my opinion. The ambiance was warm and sophisticated. Im sure its even more lovely at night and a perfect place for a romantic evening.

Inviting atmosphere of outdoor patio and overall casual indoor areas blend together well. Fish of the day based dinner meal was great along with spicy giant calamari and a couple glasses of Moscato wine.

Came to Paesanos for the first time in years, and nothing about it disappointed. Waiter Kyle was incredibly attentive to details, spot-on with recommendations, and had a really cool tie clip. The general manager Debra was awesome to us.Altogether, I had an incredible dining experience. Would trade firstborn for their old school garlic bread recipe.

The Grilled Chicken Pizza was great but other dishes like the Chicken Alfredo and Margherita Pizza lacked flavor. Service was a bit slow.

Very friendly service and great flavors. The menu offers a little bit for every taste, and presentation is appealing as well. Outdoor seating is available (and covered) when the weather is good, and inside is a darker more intimate setting. Early dinner time seems to be great for quiet and private place for a business meeting. Great atmosphere! My one request would be that there be a few more (darker) beer options, but certainly not a necessity for the venue, especially with the full bar and thorough wine selection.

Go on Sunday for guitar music on the patio. Easy place to stay for hours. Great bar. Wonderful appetizers. Some of the best servers in San Antonio.

I was really surprised by the lack of flavor. Waiter was so bad and hard to get him to come bk to us or bring us what was requested. Got the lobster ravioli and literally came in a huge deep bowl with jut 5 ravioli n tons of pepers smh. Muscles were so sour not good and my kid got fettuccine alfredo that did not have any taste, he didnt eat it. Def not worth the money we spent will not go bk.

Excellent food and the location is wonderful because it feels like a retreat. The garlic bread, salad, main dish and dessert was phenomenal. The service is good but compared to upper ranked restaurants the waiter could have been more personable. Overall a great place to dine as a couple or in groups.

Good food, small portions... A little pricey.

Terrible, the Caesar salad came out with a plateful of lettuce,however the salad was only the bottoms of the heads of romaine. There were only four tiny pieces of green lettuce. The shrimp Paesano which is their signature dish was bland and the shrimp was tough and overcooked. We also got the MB chicken and requested the chicken to be grilled instead of breaded and fried ( for dietary restrictions). No problem, however it came out with four tiny chicken pieces. When we got the check I was charged $12 for them to grill the chicken. Had I been told that, I would have ordered something else. I ended up spending $40 for basically 4 grilled chicken nuggets. I expected more from a 4 star restaurant. Ive had better Italian food from chain Italian restaurants. The food and quality of the food was definitely not worth the $92. The meal was lack luster to say the least. We will not be going there again. Olive Garden runs circles around Paesanos.

The Shrimp Paesano was excellent. Deserts were outstanding. We had the White Chocolate Tiramisu and the Apple Tartlet

Very disappointed. I miss the old location at McCullough where the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were served cold bread. The menu left us with alot of questions. Probably would not go back.

The service was 5 star, Danny Ray took excellent care of us. He had great recommendations as what to order. We started out with the Fried Artichoke, very rich, delicious! Then on to the Stuffed Shells, again very delicious and rich. But The stars of it all was the Blueberry Bread Pudding and the Cream brulee so amazing, I say just go for it and have dessert first!

Visited this restaurant for a late lunch today. Many empty tables. Young hostess wanted to seat us at small top near entrance. We refused and asked for bigger table. She said porch and outside closed and seated us in room with only one other couple. She was not friendly. Took ten minutes for waitress to show up. She said she was not notified by hostess. When salad was delivered, we asked for extra dressing which was not delivered until we were almost finished with the salad. Cheese ravioli was good but was not hot. Waitress failed to check back with us. This place was not busy so dont know why we received such poor service.

My buddy and I went today for a late celebratory lunch. The experience starts when you park. The service starts at the door. Alberto was our server and nailed every part of the experience. Wow.

This was our Sunday ritual lunch place, emphasis on was. Today was awful. After ordering, it took over 30 minutes to get our salads. Which also was the last time we saw our waiter, until the check. Another 40 minutes to get our food. Was looking at getting another round of drinks to eat with our food. Asked another server to get our server, this server was extremely busy and we seen him 45 times before ours, that was after I started counting... Was able to talk to the manager who just snapped at us that they are extremely short staffed when we finally so our waiter again. Just asked for the box and the bill. He also couldnt bring that out...

I’ve never been to this place until last night. The wait was about an hour and a half for the appetizer and the meal. By the time we got our meal, my veal came out burnt on the edges. I ate all but the burnt edges because I didn’t want to wait another hour or so for it to be corrected. When I told the the waiter, my intention was just to let him know. Not to get a discount or to get anything free. He came back and said, “the manager said you should have complained before you ate it.” I replied that I didn’t want to wait anymore while my family was eating. My message about the burnt veal was so that no one goes through what I went through. I still tipped $50 because everyone else enjoyed their food.

The ambience, service and food are unmatched. Such a gorgeous restaurant with fresh ingredients from the appetizers to the dessert! Their cocktails and house wine is also quite delicious! I bring my family and friends here any chance I get! Great spot for a romantic date night as well!

Great food! Service was phenomenal, shrimp Paesano was to die for, ambiance was perfect. Certainly one of my favorite restaurants in all of San Antonio. They have other locations in town as well, but this one is by far the best. Their outdoor patio and garden are beautiful. The indoor patio is quiet and comfortable. We were not there during one of their busiest times, but it was a very nice relaxing, peaceful meal. Highly recommend this location!

We had a wonderful experience here. Our family was a large group celebrating an anniversary. While waiting for our group, we sat at the bar for a drink. The bartender greeted us quickly and treated us well. For dinner, we were in the wine room. The room was set very nicely with linens. The server was wonderful. She took very good care of our large group with no issues. The food was delicious! I had the orange roughy which was cooked perfect. Everyone else also loved the food. I will be back.

I attended a wedding that was hosted by Paesanos 1604 and it was magical! The wedding was held outside in a private patio and the reception was held indoors in a setting that was scaled perfectly for a group of about 34 people. The waitstaff were so friendly and happy for everyone and the meal was perfect! Your menu was great and every dish was well received by the people at my table, as well as I am certain all the tables. Kudos to the kitchen, and to everyone at Paesanos!

Appetizer- Tuna was good. My main course Tuna -Charr Tuna had too many flavors that overpowered the tuna. However, the flavors tasted good. Coconut Rum Tres Leches cake was really good!!!!!
