Not sure which office Matt Wood works at but overall this Brokerage will not pay Carriers for any accessorials, detention, nothing. Avoid the chance of getting screwed over and avoid working with this Brokerage. Its not worth taking a loss and dealing with a headache when you can get much better loads and get paid by choosing to work with a better Brokerage!

This office is a waste of time. Do not haul their loads.We took a AZ load with them and told them that we have a 48 foot trailer. They gave us a green light to pick their load up. After we were loaded, my driver noticed that the pallets were damaged and asked for the product to be reworked. Shipper asked us to come back the next morning. Choptank Atlanta was aware of the entire process. The following morning their manager Zach Tancredi, tells us we cannot haul the load because we have a shorter trailer that cannot scale 43,500lbs. So we say, okay no problem, since you gave us the green light on a 48ft trailer and we drove 170 miles and had a layover caused by your shipper, we just need compensation for the lost time and miles. They refused to pay for their mistake and had us take the load back to the shipper.If you are looking to do some charity work, these guys are the way to go!They do not take care of their carriers and can careless if your time is wasted. Blacklisted in our books. Stay away from Choptank Atlanta. All other offices we have great relationships with.

I had originally left a negative review, but after speaking with Kristin McClanathan, she got everything handled promptly. Great person and cares about ensuring great carrier relationships! Thankful for people like Kristin in this world.

DO NOT HAUL FOR THIS OFFICE ( CHOPTANK -ATLANTA GA) The General manager of this office is very unprofessional in the way he talks and handle business, charged us 780.00 for 30 cases of berries that receiver rejected due to sweat of product from running this mixed with other product that ran at 36 continuous, We pointed this out, berries run at 32-33 cont at loading time but the manger said run at 36 cont. which is clearly too warm for berries causing product to sweat. General manager wants to say the reason for this claim was, water got on the product insinuating out trailer was leaking (no rain in the forecast during transit) Not even their own employees agree this is a carrier issue but He is the decision maker for this office. Weve been in business for 15 years and have good relations with other Choptank offices, thus being one of the top 100 best carriers for Choptank this office doesnt care for carrier relationship. 0 stars !!!! Negative if it was an option.

Choptank Transport has always given wonderful treatment to the drivers we work with! Our loads deliver on time almost all the time.

I put a tracker on my phone and they call text dont care what time it is will drive you crazy morning noon and night

Broker you need to quit this nonsense and trying to take advantage from the drivers during the COVID19 crisis. Eventually no freight is going to be moved, as we cant haul for free.

I have called them for loads many times and they always say that the cant give me the load because I am not set up and when I ask them so how can I set up then they are like oh we cant set you up with us until you are booked on a load.1. Cant book me because I am not setup2. Cant setup me because I am not bookedwhat a policy lol
