Have lived here over three years. Crime is not a consistent issue. People keep control of their dogs. Parking is decent. Covered spots always available. Gym set up is not bad just one treadmill works. Roaches like to show up when it rains but the complex uses a good pest control company and they will come inside your unit and spray if you ask. On-site laundry always open, all 4 in each work 80% of the time. Electrical has always been a struggle when lighting strikes close. Power reduces for hours at a time. Management always keeps us informed and the office staff does their best to stay proactive and call utility providers. Maintenance staff does rotate but Tony has been around the last couple of years and has been able to turn around quite a few of the consistent issues my unit had and does not just put a bandaid on the problem he works at it for hours. Keep your cars locked and your porch clean and your good with everyone here.

These people never answer the phone, no one is ever in the office. They blame it on short staff but from a business perspective that is an invalid excuse seeing as how I pay good money on time without issue. If you ever have to go to the office or speak with someone, good luck because literally no one responds. I’ve left multiple voicemails begging for a call back and NEVER get one. Unprofessional, impersonal, and all around bad management. I will not be renewing my lease, and it’s unfortunate because it seems like they’re trying to cater to young professionals but they can’t seem to keep up with how a professional complex should cater to its tenants.Save yourself the headache and don’t live here*adding to this, they increased the price of the laundry facilities but we still don’t have pool access and the laundry room stays full of dead roaches
What a 4th of july weekend with no AC since Friday. Made multiple phone calls & emails with only 1 response. The on call maintenance sent someone in his place and did a quick fix of the safety switch but then the AC went out again a few hrs later.Its hot AF for my family. No one has called to set them up in a hotel or lend a portable AC.

My husband and I lived at the nest for almost 2 years. We had over 12 floods in our restroom happen while we lived there. It was horrible!!! They had to cut a square out of our restroom wall which looked ugly. When it flooded it would leak from under the toilet. The bath tub would fill up with brown water that smelled so bad. Water would come up from the the tiles. Then the water would flow into the hallway. We had to use our own towels to stop the flood and had to always pay to wash and dry the towels which costed us money. They never truly fixed the issue. Everything time they “fixed it” it would flood again a month later. Plumbers came by and maintenance would come by all the time but still the problem was not truly fixed. When I called the office to request to speak to the manager. They said she was “busy” or “sick”… she never reached out to me about this issue. Another issue is that when it rains water comes in from under the big window in the living room!
Current resident, the billing is shady. I have been requesting explanation of the charges in my monthly bill and mo answer yet. The small amounts of charges add up every month, description of charges “service fee” listed 3 times with different amounts “utility reimbursement” also listed 5 times with different amounts. Why would they not describe precisely the charges? What the hell are they charging? I need answers!!! Hope more residents add their experiences.I love my apt, very beautiful.
So much turnover during my one year there with maintenance and management. They sent an $1100 bill to collections even though they never provided us with proof and list of damages, even after contacting them multiple times. This is through email, text, even them telling us that they would provide me with it over the phone. On top of that, they even locked me out of my account so even if I wanted to pay their ridiculous $1100 fee I couldnt. Going to take to small claims court.-Pest control stopped coming or stopped working after first couple months of living there so there were roaches everywhere.-AC was leaky the entire time, which they failed to fix with maintenance requests, which caused black mold to form and ceiling to be damaged.-Lack of any Security. Multiple car thefts occurred during time there and charging us for security, which patrolled for maybe an hour during the last month of my lease. Barely any security cameras. Bike was literally stolen off my front porch while locked.-Never came and finished painting apartment even though they said they would the first week we moved in.-Keep changing the end date of our lease to a month later, even though they were notified multiple times that it was wrong.- One pool was closed the entire time
Billing is shady with all these “service fees” & “utility reimbursements” when it would list what the charges were before the app update.. The dog park next to the laundry room smells disgusting. The pool has been closed all year & maintenance still hasn’t fixed the problem & the pool by the office gets full with people. Their has been 3 different managers in less than a year?! Cars get vandalized even when their is a “patrol service” when THE NEST should INVEST IN CAMERAS!Other than that the location is very convenient & my apartment is great & the most important thing the residents aren’t nosy.

The staff here are very friendly willing and able to assist on any issue you may have. Extremely understanding and overall a great community to be a part of. Reason why I’ve been here for this long. Plus it’s very pet friendly which is a major priority for us.
I would highly recommend these apartments. My mom has been living here when she went to the groceries She dropped a bag on her way walking to her apartment and the maintenance guy I believe his name was Cisko help her carry all her bags. It makes me feel safe and know what kind of apartment My mom live in. I’m so thankful thank you
I pay $850 including utilities and I live so incredibly close to North Star Mall, Quarry, I hangout in Alamo Heights. Also, I am by the Airport and yes I do travel. Iv been living here since 2017.
I was looking for a new place to live and was told to give the nest a try by my friend. Stopped by today and spoke with Yara ( who was Awesome by the by). She showed me a apt and walked me through the property. She was refreshing and the apartment is Super Cute. I loved the policies they have in place and the location is Great. I got approved and cant wait to get in my new digs. I love a good property and when the staff is easy going it makes everything smoother. Im ready to settle into my Nest, 😁👍Brandy H

I’ve lived here since May 2016, and have gone through multiple property management changes. The current management company is by far the best. The maintenance team is quick to respond if/when issues arise. The team is respectful and willing to help resolve issues, and communicate effectively.I love the location, easy on/off 281 and 410 gives you access to all parts of San Antonio. I also love living so close to the airport when I have to travel, it’s an inexpensive Uber ride away.
Very nice place my mom apartment is very nice n clean, however she is 70yrs old and has a infestation of bugs on her couches brand new furniture management wouldnt do anything about it but now they are under new management and they are coming out tomorrow to spray i believe they are dustmites or something
We were relocated to San Antonio from Dallas, job related, and The Nest Apartments caught our attention first off in searching for a new home. From The well groomed landscape, The color of the complex and most of all, easy access to all convenient facilities just within one block of one another. But what really topped it all was the pleasant and professional way we were greeted by Mrs. Jessica Simms, who was a big help through this very first Big move and transition of our lives. We would like to say Thank you to The Nest Apartments and keep up with all the fine work you guys do for all residents of our little community.
My husband and I have been residents since August 2019, and we absolutely LOVE IT!!! We have not had any problems with any residents or with the staff at the complex. We did have one issue with the AC unit that had went out, but the office and the maintenance staff made sure that we were taken care of until the AC unit was fixed. Thank you Jessica for keeping the complex in tip top shape!
The girls at the office and maintenance crew are amazing they are all quick to help you out at anytime and very friendly! This apartment complex is not like any other we are a big community and super pet friendly !! I have a dog and loves to run around in the dog park and play with other dogs!!

They are nice in the inside. The residents are good. They have a dog park too.You have Walmart across. Forestation next to it. Several places to eat. Hotels within 1/2 mile. For family and friends.
I was resident here for a very short period of time because I had to go back to my home country due to family emergency. However, property manager Jessica Simms was super nice, professional. Her assistant young lady was nice too. If there is a bad situation, they work with that, help you. It was very clean, very quiet, nice neighbors. Good complex. If I could return to San Antonio i would def choose this complex again.

1. Cockroaches everywhere. No matter how many times pest control comes, they do not go away. My boyfriend and I used Foggers a couple of times and that helped for a while.2. It stinks. It’s so old that the smell does not go away. No matter how many bath and body works candles you light up.3. Not safe. My boyfriend’s car got broken into. Community is shady. Seems like a lot of bums live there.4. The dumpster is always overflowing it’s disgusting5. People don’t pick up after their pets6. Laundry rooms are always super dirty.7. Yeah they renovated the apartments but it’s so poorly done. Cabinet doors and drawers don’t close properly. The tubs are disgusting. There is mold on the ceilings. I’m sure that’s why it stinks so bad as well.8. No hot water. They shutdown the water all the time with very short notice9. They never answer the office phone. All the numbers you find on their website or emails are incorrect.10. Seems like they have new management every day. They are clueless.11. AC doesn’t work.The list could go on and on. Just don’t live here. Yeah the price you pay for the footage you get is incomparable but you get what you pay for. Quality wise.
I absolutely love living here. Extremely quiet environment and it is always kept clean. The office staff is always friendly and courteous. Bertie always has a smile on her face and is willing to help out with whatever I need. Overall, my experience living here as been amazing.

The management here it was very unprofessional. Im not one single apartment in this entire complex has a smoke alarm in the unit. I guess they figure they dont need them since the fire department is right next. SMH And the rent is way too high. Especially for an apartment complex that thinks just because the Fire Department is next door they are not required to put smoke alarms in the units. If I had the option to give them half a star I would.
Love the color scheme and dog friendly atmosphere. Construction can be a hassle sometimes but the fact that were getting new things and equipment makes it worth while! Perfect location too! Ashley and Jamie are always helpful and put their residents first. Ashley is pretty easy on the eyes.. if you know what I mean ;) lol I love it here.

My family and I were moving from out of state and needed to find a home. Bertie was amazing helping us with the process. However, we arrived and the apartments are not like what you see online. They are old and have had some paint slapped on the imperfections. We have been here 2 months and I am ready to go. Bertie no longer works here either, which is a bummer. The pros: convenient location, pet friendly, spacious. Cons: they do not answer maintenance requests, unless you actually go down and hound them. Roaches, despite them spraying. The neighbors are loud ALL hours of the night, and the pictures are very misleading. For $940 a month, you can find much better.

This place is a work in progress. Honestly it doesnt or feel like much but is getting there. I only lived there for a short while due to relocation for work, but it was slowly changing for the better.To start off with the staff was always, always, always helpful and friendly. Extremely accommodating to requests and what not. Now from my experience the maintenance was an issue . Not the maintenance man, but more of the amount of work those guys had on their plates. It is an older complex and throughout time buildings run their course just like this one. It took awhile for some requests to get done, but in the end they were done.It is nicely located near North Star Mall and the price range wasnt that bad for the location. There are some bad apples around there, but I have a gut feeling they wont be there too much longer.Id recommend.
Great location! My mother always said, Location! Location! Location!, and boy you cant beat this one. There is 410 to North, 281 to the East, down the road from North Star Mall and the Quarry. San Pedro is also close by. Cant beat it, I say! Maintenance is always willing help resolve your problems, never dismissive. Management is always, Ms. Jaime and Ms. Ashley, welcoming residents to communicate any discrepancy. The place is awesome guys. If you are searching for a nice apartment with a homely feel. Come down to The Nest Apartments, where home is where the nest is.

Not too sure about the person commenting below but there are 2 pools, 2 laundry rooms and a brand new one being done right now, fitness center going in now & a pet park. The leasing office is also almost completed which will have a free business area for the residents. With any renovation there will be somewhat of a mess but I think the community is coming along beautifully. Esp. if you look back at the before product when they got started this year. Commercial billing and free parking, free trash and pest control is provided.
My husband and I would recommend the nest to anyone because their staff is very polite, honest, generous and we love the fact they actually have a fitness center so us tenants can be fit.. especially i love the fact whenever we have a problem they always be right with you and on top of things.. maloha.... I truly feel in love with this apartment complex. They have great stuff. The remodel that was shown to me (#904) looked amazing. I really wanted to rent here. What led me to this decision was mostly the stuff and monthly events this complex offers to their residents. However, my situation changed and I couldnt stay in this complex. I will rate this place a five because of my overall experience with The Nest since day one. Bertie and Rocio seem to manage well.

Do not move here. The cockroaches never left us alone. I would find them everywhere. On my toothbrush, in the refrigerator, on my phone, on the bed and all over the floor. Water would come through the roof. The office workers were rude and unhelpful. The place smells like poop because it is stuck to the fake grass. The mailboxes fall out and get broken into . The air conditioning does not work. This has nothing you are looking for. Not the price and not the safety for yourself or your family.
Good price. However, I would not recommend. The area is not policed properly. My car was broken into. There is a bug problem and the pools are not very clean. The tash is unmanageable. The locals from around the area come and dump there trash, garbage ends up in the street from being over pack and we are being charged for it monthly. Management seems burdened and over worked probably due to all the complaints that are not there fault.
My partner and I just recently moved to San Antonio from Dallas. The Nest was our 3rd and final choice. I love the hardwood floors and all of the updated appliances. I really appreciated the courtesy, professionalism, and the detailed answers I received from the staff. My agent in the office was Ashley. She treated everyone like a million bucks in spite of construction, waiting customers, and last minute drop-ins like us! :)I would have to say the only thing missing would be the washer & dryer units in the apartment. Its definitely something Im not use to.
Management is very friendly. Maintenance ia quick and efficient. I even had a little welcome home bag hanging on my door. Makes you feel welcomed. I think my favorite thing about this place is how they want to be involved. Had a.little costume contest for pets, game truck and more!

When I saw there website last month they had a sparrow I for a great price and what I saw was what I wanted online so I spoke to Bertie for a small tour and to see the apartment and it wasnt what it appeared online and also they mentioned it was incorrect.. the other manager was arguing with me. There is a lot of pluses:walking distance to walmart, the quarry down the road, bus line, near a major freeway, near north star mall etc. Cons: management, a disconnect from what website mentions to what management mentions, some false pictures from website to property etc. Such a disappointment because I can see myself living here if they can make the changes needed.
Im very greatful for the prompt and awesome maintenance service provided to me by Nest staff and management. Upon my request Ms. Bertie promptly put in work order. Soon after maintenance Julian Hernandez and Alex Garza very professionally fixed the problem.
I love the place it looks nice but they keep turning the water off everyday and say its for repair when its really not because they turn the water off at the time it was suppose to come back or they will turn it off without notice and you dont have any other source of water.So unless you have a oasis of water then stay away from here

I have been here for less than a month, so far this place is great. The office staff has always been friendly, the maint crew is on point! They even come to check the small little things that probably arent a big deal. The parking isnt crazy. And im in a convenient location from the quarry and northstar mall. The apartments look a little rough on the outside but check them out! They are very taken care of on the inside. So far im loving my new home!
I leased with Nest Apartments for a short time in early 2018 after moving from Chicago, IL. Unfortunately I felt the need to move after only living on the property from February 2018 to June 2018 after countless issues with lack of maintenance help with the many issues I was having. My dishwasher was always broken and their solution was to replace it with various used dish washers that literally never worked so i suggested maybe looking into the plumbing of the unit. That was NEVER done. Another time my bath tub one month in wasnt draining. It took 3 separate visits by maintenance before they called a professional to come fix it. I wasnt the one who clogged the tub, apparently from what the plumber said it was an old clog from another apartment in the building that hadnt gotten anyone to fix their plumbing had the blockage. So my tub was filled with someone elses filth. Disgusting. I was without a smoke detector majority of my time there after i called numerous times to have it replaced. Another issue was no real action was taken after my dog was attacked 3 separate times by two separate renters dogs OFF the leash on the property. I alerted management EVERY time and nothing was ever done since Id see these owners still letting their dogs out without a leash. My dog was sent to the vet and the property never assisted in any sort of compensation. And the final straw was finding someone had been looking into my windows at various times of the day and night. I found a mans belongings outside my bedroom window after my dog was constantly barking at the window off and on for a few days. I felt completely violated and alerted management immediately and once again, nothing was done.I had no idea this apartment was this bad when moving in. Homeless people loitering around, the trash outside was always overflowing and so much loud gatherings into the latest hours.All of my issues, from the very first day of moving in until the week I moved out, were always alerted to the property manager. Upon the last issue and with my lawyer alerted to potentially speak to the property, I was assured that I could safely move out without any repercussions or delinquent debt to the property. Ive never received a collections letter nor a call so I felt their word was kept.I recently was promoted within my company and now am relocating to Austin in LESS THAN a week however, a balance from The Nest property has appeared that I was completely floored by. The assurance given I was cleared isnt so. I called The Nest property and was told I have a balance of $3500! This is an outrageous balance that I was not agreeable with nor understood. After EVERYTHING I had to deal with I still have this to overcome to move forward. I am currently waiting for their regional manager OR the operations manager from their GMC Corporate office to reach out to me immediately to resolve this insane & unwarranted balance..In all my years of renting, I have NEVER had such poor service as I did with Nest. I hope with whomever is working with the management team on the property is having greater success than the numerous ones I had to encounter while living on the property.

Im on my 2nd lease and managers do come and go... I agree. I hope the new management stays because ive seen improvements. Laundry area is cleaner, no trash spilling over at the dumpsters, maintenance requests are handled the same day, and landscaping maintained. We have new pool furniture, new fitness center, and I see constant upkeep going on daily. The young lady that works the front desk is really sweet, helpful, and the manager always greets with a smile. Maintenance staff even says hello when walking by and im sure they are plenty busy. I try to see the positive in things and not focus on the negative. If you have a positive attitude youll like it here. If you focus on the negative probably not. 4 stars because its definitely not perfect but I call it home and Im happy.
Alex and Julian the maintenance men are super sweet and helpful! They spent so much time in my apartment in 1104 working on my airconditioning until it was perfect!
Me and my wife just move in these apartments about 2 months ago, we really like everything so far and we like how everything has come together and seeing the apartments change, maintenance is great they come when ever we ask, the ladies that work here are really great and are understanding, every time anything goes wrong they help us fast and make sure we have all our questions answered,highly recommend these apartments
The Nest Apartments luxury prices for third world squalor. hot water free for 4 months but thats not all, you can also deal with discourteous self-interested staff will be glad to provide you with absolutely no service after the sale once you sign your stuck and they couldnt care less you can complain all you want youre better off talking to one of our newly painted brick walls by the way we will be charging you for the paint we drip all over your vehicle note to say that this isnt a fine place it is a fine place they fine you for everything $50 having your shoes on your porch $50 having a garbage can outside $25 having a slip of paper on the door just a fine fine place all the fines keep adding up and then theres our rent and billing policy regardless of when you pay your rent you will get eviction threats paid on the 28th thats fine well just send you an eviction threat on the 2nd along with continuous bills for $0.00 apparently they enjoy negative building because the postage cost more than the anyway move here at your own risk just dont risk one in hot water because youre not going to get any.

Hands down the worst place I have ever lived! Don’t move here...after dark the environment is rowdy, loud music and parties going on in the grass area. Loud confrontations and don’t get me started on the Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity arresting people. It’s a crime haven, unsupervised little children swimming in the pool, tho hot water for weeks....run as fast as you can!!!!
I have had no hot water for months. A maintenance man came by and told me that because my apartment is so far away from the water heater I have to let the water run to clear the cold water from the pipes. It doesnt work. Im lucky if I can get more than five minutes of hot water before it turns cold again. Im tired of cold showers.

Ignore any reviews about Bertie; she doesnt work here anymore. Brianna is really hurting the community.The place is disgusting. I have lived here for a year and the place gets worse and worse. There is a bug infestation issue, the pools are nasty, the trash piles up every week, the management is never there when I have tried to ask about certain issues.The management comes into your apartment for random inspections, bug sprays, working on the electricity, ect. REGARDLESS if youre home or not. Its a violation of privacy and they only give you a 2 or 3 day notice via email.I parked in the wrong spot ONCE and without warning I was towed overnight with no info. on where my car was or how to get it. I had to call the office several times before I finally got an answer. The towing fee and impound fee was $217 for under 12 hours of my car being held.I couldnt be more pleased to leave this place; the turnover rate for new neighbors is extremely high, and nobody picks up their dog poop. Its an awful place to live. So many people smoke, too, so getting a breath of fresh air is almost impossible.RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
The staff is super friendly and the maintenance crew are on point.
They tell us to move in on one day and change it to another day and when we come with all of our belongings on that day the renovators are STILL not done. We practically had to beg them to put our toilet in, we moved in without a oven or a shower head, we had to drive to take showers for the first week while it was being ordered. Its been six months and theres still work that needs to be done and still things wrong with it. Overall our apartment looks like it was thrown together poorly. Dont move in you can get something better with how much they are charging and with how our apartment looks.
I absolutely love my apartment! it has been fully remodeled to be a perfect fit my my son and I! everyone is the office has been super helpful and friendly through the entire process!Update: since changing office peogle themail customer service has gone way down hill! The lady is rude and acts very inconvenienced when you need something. So unhappy this has gone down hill!

Ive been living here 9 months and so many changes,happen with the new company,never a dull moment, office staff changes a lot,The manager is on her toes always on property,and mainantiance is always working very nice staff and actually cares sits and chats,they even have doggie snacks in the office for my dog,coffie,and donuts,water,I can say Ive never seen a company who does this for resadint, all apartments have there goods and bads but I see a change.

Best thing I did here was move out. My car got stolen from the parking lot, there is alot of various types of crime going on daily, like literally during noon hours and throughout the night it progresses to become worse. Place was on the news for a double homicide (murder). Also the maintenance was caught red handed stealing from my unit several times, then denying it when I spoke with management(which is a joke). They make up their own fees to charge you when they want. Like picking up dog poop was a fee for everyone including the people who dont have animals. The parking lot is busted up, filled with potholes, and is simply breaking into pieces, There is grass growing in the street. Roaches, rats, ants, fleas, possums, raccoons, stray animals, alcoholics, druggies, and thieves are the majority of the tenants. Even if locked up, they will steal your car or break into your unit once you leave because they just sit, watch, and wait until your gone. Very horrible experiences here. Best not to own anything of average value because they will rip it off. Plus management always lies and fixes nothing. Ac broke in the middle of Texas Summer and was not repaired ever. Lived there for a year my AC went out twice there were roaches in my apartment staff was not friendly really didnt know what they were doing on the plus side the area is really nice

I only liked one thing out these appartments and it was the pool, but they reunited it. They couldnt clean it themselves so the tenants had to use their our suplies and take turns cleaning it because they could not do so. The office itself is very UNORGANIZED and dont know what they are doing. They gave me notices of bills that i already payed and tried to evict me even though I payed my bills on time, when I went to talk to them about it the ladies at the front desk had a MAJOR attitude. Their billing is so unorganized that the office doesnt even know what they are talking about. When asked to clean a molded spot on the wall all they did was covered it up with paint and left it alone.

I wouldnt recommend The Roaches Nest Apartments to my worst enemy. Theres a cockroach infestation, dog poop galore, spent 100s of dollars on Raid roach spray and Drano due to the sinks and showers clogging daily. The office never answers the phone. At least Bertie would make every attempt to make things right. All this Management team cares about is you paying your rent only.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!I have a fatal disease and it requires so much care THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT IT, I asked for another apartment because my apartment has this stroooong smell of smoking, no matter how much i clean it never goes away ! Is all over my clothes, purses, FOOD!If i die this place is to blame😒 They cAre more about the stuff we keep outside and the we cant even use the stupid pool! I am calling for goverment help to find a way to get outta here without any credit damage😒I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
Today, March 25th, 2017, I visited the Nest and Bertie had an office full of prospective tenants, just leased tenants, me, Maryelizabeth Luna, prospective tenant, and two male tenants needing a report of their rental history, and Bertie, smiled, spoke loud(lol) and clear and kindly to all of us. She worked past her time there. She showed me apartments and toured me. She was so patient and informative. Place is great, except Phase 3, but I am moving in there providing the manager will accommodate my move in timeframe and upstairs for a Robyn floor plan. Fingers crossed and Gods will all works out. I just pray no inside smoking is allowed because I am extremely allergic to cigarette smoke, but will see. For those of you deciding to move here or not, do it, providing of course you too dont like cigarette smoking inside because that stuff comes through the vents eventually. Love it otherwise!Thank you Bertie!
Very friendly staff and love the location but rent was raised pretty high the last couple years and having to do laundry is a pain cause u have to carry it all the way to the back. When each building used to have its own now its down to only one in the back. And they threaten to tow ur car if u dont pay for parking here. And just recebtly added renters insurane to rent which only covers there stuff. Miss the way it was.
First off, Jaime Reid is currently the apartment manager of this complex. So any ratings she has submitted should be immediately removed.Second, dont believe a word she or the regional manager Kristy Parker says. After you sign the lease, any complaints you have are met with smiles and empty promises. I have never in my life done business with a more unprofessional group of people. I cannot count how many incorrect billing statements they have sent out. Also Im not sure they have heard of spell check, which is amazing considering we are less than two months away from 2016.This apartment is under full renovation mode, if you can call putting a coat of paint on a dilapidated moldy old apartment complex renovations. There are cracks, trash, cockroaches, broken glass, and dog faeces all over the complex. There are two pools, both of which have been either closed or green more time than they have been open in the last 6 months. The dog park is an absolute joke, it would literally fit inside my one bedroom apartment. The grass they used is the bottom of the barrel astro-turf. There is ONE maintenance man. So he will get to your maintenance requests when he gets done with the list that is a mile long, which is an absolute shame because he is such a nice person.My cabinets will not stay shut, there is a bulge in the floor near the whole front half of my apartment, tall enough to trip over if I did not put my couch on top of it. The water (if it hasnt been shut off) is rusty, and when boiled gets white chunks. I was moved in without any smoke alarms. My windows do not stay open, and when I complained they suggested I go to walmart and buy thumbscrews to keep them open.In short, my fully renovated apartment is already falling apart after not even 6 months of living here. The management has wilfully cut as many corners and always used the absolute cheapest material they could find. This place is the epitome of maximizing the minimum. Really? Weve lived there for over 5 years, and the place is worse now than ever. Our unit has not been renovated, the floor slopes and there is a void in the floor of the living room where the subfloor has collapsed. We have cracks in the wall, and the air conditioner has not had the filter changed in the 6 months that its been installed. Trash is everywhere outside, and all the work they did installing crushed gravel and plants, the plants dont get watered, so theres half dead bushes everywhere. It smells like dead animals and cat urine, and broken down vehicles in several spaces--that have been there for months. We cannot wait for our lease to expire so we can leave. Im ashamed to invite people over due to the way the place looks.
Dont move here!!!!!Lets see we paid $765 sec BC my credit wasnt good then $331 prorated rent.Got our keys on the 18th and Moved in Yesterday then about 10 pm went to kitchen and it was infested with cock roaches. We Informed the mangers of it and also informed them they didnt put my fiance on the lease after the assistant manager told my girl to come in and sign and now they wanted her to pay app fees and admin fees after we already moved in.... Then gave us the smallest apartment ever which Im calling Housing over BC they put me, my fiance and our 3 kids in a one bedroom.. Now they refuse to give us our money back after We have a video (My fiance recorded the whole convo today thank gosh) of them agreeing to cancel contract and return our money then they said while she was recording the whole time that they never said that and we dont have proof she said that we agreed to it which its on video of it coming out of both of their mouths... Lol gotta love cell phones!! So they basically incriminated themselves.. Definitely calling BBB especially after all the pics and videos of how bad they treated us over a complaint over INFESTED cock roaches!!! Both very rude managers and would love to talk to their bosses but BBB will deal with them!!
One of the worst places you want to move . The manager here does not care about the tenants you have to be aggressive with them to take you seriously or else nothing you request or paid for will get done. The owners dont want you contacting them even if their managers arent doing their job. we have had to catch 2 mice since we been here . our AC has went out twice maintenence is supposed to be certified but when it comes down to solution they never have one.imagine your house being at 95 degrees in texas. We cant wait until our lease is up thats how bad it is.
