My husband and I moved in about 4 months ago (along with our 5 month old daughter) and initially loved it. We were happy to be here but that changed within the first few weeks. The first week we moved in, we realized the sink was incredibly loose. When we turned the water on/off, the entire faucet would move, I was afraid it would come right off if it wasn’t fixed quickly. Then, we realized their plumbing is horrible! Both our toilets splash water up when being flushed. Our master toilet is even worse, it literally flushes water (along with whatever else is in the toilet) up and OUT OF THE TOILET. I would post videos/pictures but it’s seriously disgusting! We have to close the toilet lid when we flush and have to wipe down the entire toilet once finished. We told the office of these issues as well as a few others and all they fixed was the tightening of the kitchen sink. Not to mention that they “tried to fix” the toilet problem assuming it was just clogged (I knew it wasn’t) and just ended up scratching my toilet so now it looks like it’s dirty! I also submitted TWO separate requests because my sink was not draining the water, it’s been 2 months and they never got to it. My husband had to fix it on his own after it started to leak and flooded our kitchen area. They also took over a month to give us our trash bin. We were taking our own trash down 3 flights of stairs while paying $70 for trash service! They also have a very bad bug problem. Bugs I’ve never even seen before!! The only good thing about this property are the amenities. The office is incredibly hard to reach and does not get back to us. It has been 4 months, this is incredibly unacceptable so I’m only left to write this review. Definitely won’t be renewing my lease here!
We loved being here when we originally moved in back in October of 2019. Never had any problems staff was always responsive. When my husband left to deploy back in Sept. of 2020 we made the decision to down size on our unit. All was well, staff was very understanding and flexible about our situation. Well it was down hill from here! The office staff NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. The people above us CONSTANTLY are running around or dropping items on the floor making lots of noise all hours of the day/night. It can literally be 2 or 3 in the morning and their still making noise. My child goes to bed by 9 and I understand not every kid has a bed time BUT we have to be up by 6 am and all the noise wakes my child up ultimately waking me up as well. Despite the numerous times we’ve called courtesy patrol nothing ever happens. Every time I call the office directly guess what … no answer. There’s always kids running or riding their scooters/bikes in the parking lot which has caused damages to residents cars due to the kids weaving in and out between the vehicles. Pet owners leave their pets poop everywhere. There was even an incident where I ordered a package and it wasn’t able to get delivered so when I called the post office they said somebody had the master key to our apartment complex mailbox and the staff failed to tell any residents! No email no call nothing! But hey their quick to send an email out numerous times stating we owe for damages to our old unit that were in fact already there before we moved in! The only reason I give two stars is because the location is really convenient. H-E-B is nearby and work isn’t too far of a drive either. Other than that We will definitely not be renewing our lease.
Absolutely terrible experience once new management took over. When we first moved in, the management & maintenance were both punctual and very helpful. Any problem we had, they were able to fix it the same day, if not as soon as they could. The complex was nice and kept tidy, we admired the cleanliness (even before covid)After the staff was replaced with new management, everything went downhill. Everyone at the office rude and unprofessional. If you called the front office, you NEEDED to speak to the same person all the time because it seemed as if there was NO communication in the building.Maintenance wasn’t any better; reduced to 1-2 unprofessional and lazy individuals. When our a/c needed a filter they handed us half of a TORN filter, and claimed it was because it saved us money. My apartment complex shouldn’t be penny-pinching like this.Our leaky sink was NEVER fixed either. For months in months, we had a leak with the kitchen sink (faucet). Both maintenance and myself tightened the handles but this was a problem with plumbing because we noticed this happened in the restroom a couple times as well. This was never addressed by maintenance or fixed. The sound of the faucet dripping water can drive you insane, WHICH IT DID.Our toilet would overflow and NOT due to clogging, this was the building’s plumbing and this management DOES NOT like taking accountability; truly embarrassing.On top of that, we went a month with no a/c, and 2 months without washing machine/dryer due to malfunction. We were given the biggest runaround. Almost every other day we called about the issue, since we PAID extra to have those utilities, and they said the same thing each time…”we’ll try to squeeze you in today”. They refused to hire more “competent” maintenance workers.Visually, the complex is disgustingly messy now. Various stains on the concrete, from trash bags and pet urine/feces being left unattended (IN THE BUILDING). The elevator breaks down frequently due to negligence so it’s a dive roll whenever you get in.Overall, we are disappointed in how many aspects this NEW MANAGEMENT dropped the ball. I am saddened in how things changed in such a short amount of time.We were treated like a family when we moved in, it is unfortunate that the familiar hospitality turned into such an unpleasant living environment.Stay away and try your luck down the road at Firewheel or the Abbey, better prices and better management!!
This had been the worst apartment living experience I have ever had. Bad management. When you call office you will be lucky if anyone answers. Loud neighbors and when you call to complain about noise nothing is done to stop it. Walls are paper thin so you can hear neighbors. You can hear neighbor footsteps downstairs even of you are above them. There is no power washing of floors anymore so there is bird poop everywhere. Neighbor store cardboard outside their doors for days. Will not be renewing lease. Can’t wait to get out of here.
I am living here for past 4 years. Maintenance standards are at all time low.We live in ground floor. They dont replace a blind for 3 months.We dont have privacy when we are in the living room.
Love the place! Everyone is nice, the place is clean, the gym always smells good and I feel safe here. I definitely recommend it to anyone who has kids and pets
Had an appt to look at this property. Was travelling from another country and had scheduled an appt online (they even confirmed). When we got to the property we only found a note at the offices door that said they were not working that day. Not even an email cancelling my appt or suggesting to move it to another day. They should take better care of potential residents.
Never ever rent the appartments in 1st floor of 6th building. It will always have maintenance issues(toilet) issues. The drainage system is not built properly.Very disappointed with the management. I am still living here but for sure I will not renew the lease. From the last couple of months they are double charging on trash and pest control. They said its some calculation of their software and they asked us to send the screenshot of the monthly summary . They have charged trash and pest control every month. After sending the screenshots they are not responding.Most of the residents are facing the same issue. Hope they will respond by seeing this review.
Love this place. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The apartment is perfect and in three years I’ve never had issues with anything. This place is amazing. Perfect place, staff and location.
This place shows you a different face once you move in. The people from the office only answer when they want. Most times I have to call back to remind them what I need.Packages get stolen from the mail box. Apprently, someone had a master key to the mail boxes and no one said anything to residents. There are no security cameras by the mailboxes.Walls are thin as paper. I can hear my neighbors conversations, even the the toilet flushing.The gates are always broken, and allow just about anyone in.If you like noise, then move here. There are kids everywhere. Parents talking outside your window at 8 am on a Saturday.I pay a lot of money to live comfortably, but this place is not comfortable at all. Im very disappointed. I was promised much more than this.
Honestly, i have no complaints with the apartments or staff here. However, if you just LOVE having new scratches and dents on your vehicle every time you go outside, then this is the place for you. Do you love little kids (3-6 age group) weaving between vehicles on their bikes and scooters? I bet you also love when they aren’t being supervised by an adult. And better yet if they are being “supervised” (watched from 200+ ft away) the parents simply don’t care if their child obviously hit someone’s vehicle. So if you dont have a care in the world about your paint or keeping your vehicle free of scratches and dings, then come on down to SYNC at Arden Park!
It’s a decent place to live, but I would not say amazing. One main issue with this place is that the gates are continuously breaking/ broken. i’ve been here for a few years and have dealt with broken gates on and off this whole time. I think that for the amount of money that residents here pay, the gates should always be working/ fixed. Another issue is that the system to let guests into the gate when they dial your phone number does not work. I have other friends who are also residents here that complain of the same issue. I can’t tell you how many times i’ve had walk to the front to click the gate open myself with my clicker for uber eats, dominoes pizza driver, my guests, etc. Really annoying. If I didn’t pay as much as I do, it wouldn’t bother me as much. On the contrary, the location is nice. Plenty of parking spaces and nice pool. Trash valet is nice. I do have to say though, this place was a lot nicer before the Circle K got put up right in front. And now there is a Pollos Asados currently being built in front too. Not the complex’s fault, but it has added more traffic in front. I’m sure it will get worse once the fast food place is finished being built. IMO, there are better complexes out there. Overall, 3 stars.
So far everything has been really nice. We had a few issues with the apartment but Maintenance was here quickly and handled the issue. We like being so close to the pool and the office staff have been very helpful.
When we first moved in, everything was great--we worked with Erika and she is very responsive and professional (I give her 5 stars). Our apartment was clean and ready for move in. There was an issue with the microwave being broken, and maintenance repaired it with this yellow glue (on a black microwave) and now it looks extremely foolish. I have asked about it quite a few times because the microwave really should be replaced, but nothing has come of this yet.The parking lot is a nightmare. Children running around and not being supervised...at all. The parents are too busy talking to other parents or looking at their phones.Residents drive through the lot like this is a highway, and have no regard for the two little speed bumps or stop signs. I have almost gotten hit by a car a few times.The elevators are constantly broken and this is inconvenient when you live on the fourth floor. Not to mention, someone keeps tagging the elevators with words and drawings, maintenance paints over it and they do it again and again. Just silly.People continue to try to get through the timed entry gate, resulting in it being broken--which allows for unwanted visitors. There has been strange men, one that tried to follow me to my car and another homeless man sleeping in the building hallway.Residents are very inconsiderate, they party during the night as if they live in a house. Or if you are lucky like us, you have a couple on your floor that constantly yell, fight, and scream obscenities because they dont care that there are small children that can hear them.On the bright side, this place has community rewards and if you complete little tasks, you can score a $5 gift card (to a store of your own choosing), to off-set all of the above mentioned annoyances.Truly, the cost of living here is not currently aligning with the quality of living.
This place is awesome from the amenities to the location. The apartment’s floor plan is very spacious and open. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!!
I enjoy living here. Its close to a HEB, CVS, LA Fitness, several gas stations and food places. Theres a gym room and a nice pool. One time my washer didnt work and someone came within two hours and fixed it. Great service!I left a review above about two years ago and now I will move out, because I am moving to Austin. Researching other apartments made me realize how amazing Sync at Arden Park is. The management team, especially Aly, were so helpful and understanding the last two years. They are very responsive and solution oriented. The buildings, pool and gym is clean and very quiet. I live on the 4th floor with an always working elevator and have a pool view. Couldnt have asked for a better place to live :-) Thank you for the great service! I will miss it!
So far so good. Things have gone smoothly since we decided to pursue the sync. Apartments are nice, plenty of parking, and very close to lots of places.
Pool seems to be pretty dirty most of the time..BUT the real problem is the bathrooms by the pool area, with the pandemic going on sanitation should be key and residents should not have to be walking all the way to their apartments to use the bathroom when there is one just a few feet away! Bathroom is always dirty,smells awful, no soap or toilet paper! Luckily a sweet resident was kind enough the other day to bring some soap so that people could wash their hands after leaving the bathroom!
Susan was super helpful and professional on giving us a tour! Its very hard to find such willing service during social distancing, but she kept it safe and fun!
Lot of termites running and flying and maintenance was not effective.
Number the buildings and put signs for God sake. No visitors parking instructions. I went to the website you have on the sign, sent me a code for a parking lot on Fredericksburg, also asked me for a guest code that we didnt find anywhere. Numbers dont answer. Left a message today at the office.
It is everything I was looking for and some! I moved from the DFW area a couple days ago and had to find a place to live very quickly. My family and I came to look here one day and applied the next. The ladies in the front office understood our urgency and gave us everything we needed to get started and quickly approved our application. My family and I really like our unit and the community thus far. Ill be back in about 6 months to review my living experience here. Hopefully it continues to be great.
Literally the nicest staff I’ve ever meet! Always getting our issues solved fast without any issues even if they’re minor. Every understanding as well, thank you for making our move back to SA easy!

We lived here for about two years and had a great experience with management, office staff, and maintenance staff. Requests were completed quickly and efficiently. We would like to thank Erica specifically for working with us around the situation of our move and processing our move out information quickly. She was also very helpful on other occasions with questions and requests!

Very good and friendly staffs. Very good amenities for residents and near to many shopping centers to get all basic things. Gas station is very close. Sending text notifications for all events including packages delivered for us.
SYNC is the best place to live. It’s an awesome place and very safe. I used to live at SYNC last year and I just moved last December. The reason I’m writing the review because I never met a management stuff nicer than them. Everyone in the office is super nice and they have an awesome manager too. For the maintenance, they have maintenance experts and they fix your problem asap professionally and trust me with SYNC you’ll never been ignored. I really miss my days there.
Can’t wait for my lease to be over. Several issues moving in-Floors and walls are the absolute thinnest possible. Can hear absolutely every step the people above you take, which is nice for a night shift nurse when it seems like there is a heard of buffalo migrating constantly. I’m used to normal hearing footsteps but this is worse than college dorms.A car (luckily not mine) was left on blocks on the property in its parking spot. Gates are almost constantly broken and take weeks to be repaired.Water leaked from AC unit above ceiling causing water to drip from ceiling. Placed emergent maintenance request on Thursday morning, issue was addressed Friday. Maintenance says they would come back on Monday to reasses after everything had time to dry to repair where portions of dry wall had fallen. No one ever came back.I give 2 stars for the location and quick access to hospitals only a few lights away, the property itself earns no stars. Counting down the last 4 months.
Beautiful and well built apartments at decent location. Staff takes good care of the residents. Signing lease here is a cake walk. They are very quick in responding to all queries. The online system is amazing to pay rents and log in maintenance issues. They resolve the maintenance issues in less than a day and send updates via email and text. I highly recommend Sync at Arden Park, if someone wants to live around that area.
I absolutely love the staff! Especially Erika.....she is so helpful and so patient! Everyone in the office has a bubbling personality and enthusiasm about themselves! I love my apartment and am glad I chose to live here because the amenities are what they should be for the price point! I would recommend these apartments to everyone that likes luxury with creature comforts!!
Was very satisfied after stopping and giving this place a chance. I wasnt sure I would like such a large complex, but it really is nice, quiet, clean and the staff was really really inviting. So satisfied that we moved in within three days of stopping by and looking at a few apartments.
We are new resident. Due to some system error we faced issues with our move in. Though the staff - Bridged and Erica- helped us and assigned another apartment within no time. I really liked the staff, very humble. Appreciate the quick response. We are very much looking forward to live in Elysian!
Move in went smoothly, all the staff were very helpful. Upon move in, a maintenance issue was fixed promptly. The pool area is kept clean and is nice. The only area of improvement that i may suggest is the cardio machines which I know the staff is working hard to fix!
Arden Park is a wonderful community with friendly staff. The units are gorgeous with elevators and valet trash pick up. The manager of this community really sticks out to me. When I moved in she was extra helpful and friendly. You can tell her staff is dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
So far so good...Almost a year and Im still loving our Apartment. Everyone that visits us keeps telling us they love our home and it is just beautiful. So many complements.
I regret moving away from here. Other complexes really cant compare. Everything from the price, apartments, ameneties and staff were fantastic. I only ever had 2 major problems. 1 was fixed after a minor complaint so its not worth mentioning, and the other was silver fish. Had a bad problem not long after I moved in and it never really got resolved. Even then, theyre just a nuisance. If it werent for my job I would have stayed longer

Sorry this is long...I did not appreciate being lied to by leasing staff when moving into my apartment. I received a call late in the afternoon just one day prior to move-in that my apartment would need to have all of the carpet replaced and that the apartment would not be ready until late afternoon the next day. When I asked the leasing agent why this was, she told me that the carpet had been cleaned, but that she just wasnt happy with it and that she just didnt think it had been replaced since the complex had been open. I suspected that there was more to this explanation and that there had to have been some sort of substance or odor associated with the bad carpet. I learned later that I was right. I was then told that I could look at the apartment the next morning prior to move in.When I arrived on the day of move-in at noon, I was told that someone had only just arrived an hour prior to work on the carpet and that I could not go up and look at the apartment. I asked the leasing agents again what was wrong with the unit and was reassured that everything would be perfect and that I had nothing to worry about. This was very frustrating as the lease had already been signed weeks prior to move-in and I was not able to prepare for whatever was wrong with the unit. I felt left in the dark and had movers coming to my home within a few hours. When I finally got the keys to the apartment and opened the door, I smelled a very pungent cigarette smoke odor. This was even more upsetting as I get headaches from cigarette smoke and the windows had not even been left open to try to air out the apartment.I wish that the leasing agent had been more upfront as to why they were replacing the carpet. Instead of unpacking the first night, I spent all of my time trying to get rid of the smoke smell. Cigarette smoke seeps into walls and vents and can linger for long periods of time. Even now, it is like there is still a tinge of it in the air, perhaps because the odor seeped into the brand new carpet as well. You should also know these are not luxury, but decent apartments. The linoleum tile flooring in my bathroom is cheap and does not even extend to the tub in one section, so it is lifting, which the leasing agent also said she would look into.
This place is the best apartment complex I have lived at by far!!,the complex is beautiful and management team is amazing!i couldn’t imagine living anywhere else
We enjoy the activities that are sometimes provided in the main building. My only complaints are the dog poop that pet owners dont pick up and when the side gate doesnt work I wish a sign could be placed on it. Its difficult to back out of that curve and I saw someone smack their car into the pole while trying to back up. Maintenance is quick to come when a request is put in and we love the daily trash pickup but have gotten warnings for silly things like having a trashcan liner in the trash can and placing the closed trash bag on top of the liner.
Ive had a great experience throughout my entire leasing process at Elysian! The staff has made it so easy and gone out of their way to help with anything Ive needed!
I was not impressed by the way my lease was handled by the staff. The initial apartment I had reserved and put a deposit down for was given away to someone else. I was furious, but since I put all my eggs in one basket, I resigned myself to accepting a more expensive apartment in the complex for my short-time stay. I eventually finished my lease and returned my keys in person; the staff calls me 2 weeks later and says, “We need to process your move-out, but don’t have your keys”. Although the grounds were well maintained and the gates added a sense of security to living there, I do not plan on recommending this apartment complex to any of my colleagues or close friends/family members.

( current resident)Yes people say its dirty, dog poop everywhere, and loud.dog poop is not really apartment problem first of all(its the dog owners resposibility), and i dont really see dog poops anymore (it was only a temporary issue)apartment being loud, loud is a subjective term and any apartment can be loud depending on your neighbor(downstairs or upstairs) or quietIve had a loud neighbor and i complained to management and they took care of it within two days (they actually send him notice and he stopppped)This is a luxury apartment,in expensive area( medical center). I really hope this apartment can bring more people who are sophisticated and classic.Oh btw whole management team and the new manager is super nice !
At first glance, you may think this is a beautiful place to reside. This was my thought, until I actually lived here. I have been here almost a year and will not renew my lease.Here are some of my instances that have left me feeling unwelcome in my own home.1. Most importantly the staff. They have had 3 different staff changes, one set no better than the rest and AJ (assistant manager) rudest of all. It is not very pleasant than when you have something to address or a question to be made, that you are greeted with insult and sarcasm.2. The dog park. Dont let its cute picket fence full you. It is flea ridden and unkempt. Even though we pay a monthly pest control fee, fleas are horrible here. We had to up our dogs flea meds to keep them healthy.3. IF you have children, this is not hte place for you. For some reason, children seem to aggrivate the staff and are not allowed in most areas of the complex.4. The BBQ and fireplace at the outdoor amenity area are mostly not working. And it doesnt seem to be on the apartments agenda to have it fixed any time soon.5. There have been multiple car break ins, but no warning from the staff when something happens so we can be on the lookout.6. While all these items you would think would be items that the apartment is attempting to remedy, they do not. Yet, if you go outside of any line or rule they have in place, you will be quickly fined.Just think twice before picking Arden Park, your money should feel like an investment.
If someone asked me about living in these apartments, I would tell them that they are beautiful, have amazing amenities, and keep up the gounds very well. But thats just it. Its all asthetic.Unfortunately, these apartments were not built with noise from neighbors in mind. When my neighbors above me walk around, the bottles on my island rattle and you can hear every single time they shut a cabinet, close the door, when people knock, even when they tinkle in the bathroom.I have complained to the from office AND all 4 managements they have been through since moving in but nothing gets done. Neighbors continue to be obnoxious until 1 am or later in spite of all efforts to ask them to respect quite hours.Dont bother calling for the courtesy officer, because the agent who receives the after hours call wont call you back. SAPD had to come out and ask them to quiet down and they still didnt.I wont bother trying to tell the front office AGAIN since its a waste of my breath.Long story short, this is a beautiful property with beautiful views, and a great location and if you love listening to your neighbors conversations through the walls, you should definitely move in. If you want to live in a place where the rules are respected and the front office will help you resolve issues, this is not the place for you. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would.A few more notes to add while Im at it:1. The walls are painted with a matte color paint and god forbid if you get anything on it because ITS NOT GONNA COME OUT. My dad accidentally spilled a milkshake and now there are horrible splatters on my wall.2. When I decided to move in, I was so excited that I would have a whirlpool tub just like the model I was shown but I found out later that ONLY CERTAIN BUILDINGS have these tubs, not all of them, including mine :(. Make sure you ask about that if you expect it.3. We have an incredible trash pick up service but if you put your trash can out before the hours of 6-8pm and leave the trash can out after 9am the next day, they will fine you for it.4. Paying your rent: When I first moved in, the front office had the ability to run your card for payment. They quickly did away with that and have an online portal which you can pay A CONVENIENCE FEE in order to pay your rent. Its $1.95 to pay your rent via echeck (bank account), $3.53 for Mastercard, $18.25 for Visa, and 3.53 for discover card. I guess I will take a check to the front office from now on.5. This last one is not going to be a big deal for many people and i completely understand the propertys stance on this but Im gonna add it anyway. Many people have Nest Thermostats to help them save on electricity. CPS even gives you a discount on your bill for using it but you CANNOT use it at this property. When I tried installing mine ( I have installed my own several times with no problem) I blew a fuse and had maintenance come fix the issue. The maintenance guy told me that since this property was new, I could not use my equipment as it would void the warranties in place for their own. I understood completely. You wont be saving any kind of money by living here. Choose somewhere else.I will update this upon move out.

Dog crap everywhere. If you cant see it, you can smell it. People leave trash outside all weekend, because theyre too lazy to walk it to the dumpster when theres no trash pickup. Overrun with loud college kids. Office employees mostly inept. Not worth the money!

This is the worst apartment I have ever seen before. Especially management is not responsible enough. We complained about excessive noise from upstairs so many times, they didn’t take any action on it. They asked us for a proof we sent proofs also still they are not working on it. I won’t suggest this apartment to anyone. This is not safe place to live.
