The charming ladies, Colby Jackson, Haylie Saunders, And Amanda Salazar,..I cant give enough prestige and applause to these young ladies!!!! Right from the very start, i worked with Amanda, she handled every action and procedure with professionalism, albeit, showing compassion and concern to a few maintenance issues. She handled everything with quick response and problem solving manner. All the traits and character of professionals, commitment, and expertise.

Stay away people!! Chateau Grove has a bed bug problem!! They did not fixed the problem and we had to move out to another apartment. When I was moving out, I found out my neighbor had it too. This meaning that probably the whole complex has it.

Their apartment complexes have beg bug infestations. Their office does not act properly or quickly. Stay far away! Spend your money on an apartment were the owners care.

Rude staff. Unresponsive to safety and security issues. Mice in my kitchen. Electrical in my apartment is dangerous. Smell in the hallway is disgusting. Outside stairs are pulling away from the building. Red Flag: If a landlord, or scam artist, asks for more than $30-$60 to pay for your background check, beware! This is a rental scam.

I have lived in these apartments for 4 years and I have to say up until now the response to maintenance requests was piss poor. Things never got finished in the past. These apartments are old and I have just learned to live with holes in my ceiling from leaks. I am happy to report that things have changed. I submitted a leak request from a leak we have had trouble with for years that always seems to come back. The maintenance manager Belinda actually came to look at what the issues were. She was very sweet and ACTUALLY followed through with what she said she was gonna do to get it fixed!! Which was a 1st in all the 4 years I’ve lived here! I was skeptical but within a couple days she had someone out to fix the roof leak and the tub leak. I was very pleased with these requests finally getting attention in a timely manner. But then I was blown away that Raymond not only fixed the leak but came back when he said he would to cover up the holes and paint over it so it actually looks nice in my kitchen again! He even replaced the light fixture so I can see better while I cook at night. Raymond thank you for the fabulous work you did and for ACTUALLY following through with what you said you were gonna do. I love that I don’t have to stare at an ugly ceiling in my kitchen and in my bedroom anymore!! Good job Alamo Heights Apartments for finally hiring quality people to take care of your tenants. My family and I truly appreciate it!! ❤️

I have to say-I’m completely impressed and grateful to the staff at Alamo Heights Apartments! Joseph Castillo helped get me a great unit, in my preferred location, within a very quick time frame. He made sure to offer me different units, properties, and price ranges to fit within my budget, and he was very personable doing so. I’m so glad that I went with Alamo Heights Apartments! And Amanda was very kind and helpful as well!

We were out of hot water at Chelsea apartments since Friday morning. On Monday morning it was back!!! Thanks to all those who worked to restore it.

Raymond took care of all my maintenance needs of the apartment. It was really very good working with him. He is pretty experienced and I really appreciate his assistance in resolving all the maintenance issues.Thanks Raymond and I appreciate that.

It was a pain to get things fixed, and some things were never fixed. There was molded and damaged tile in the bathroom that they said they would replace before we moved in and that never happened. They also were about to tow my boyfriends ‘64 mustang because they thought it was abandoned. It was parked in one of the parking spaces, and they never even asked anyone in the fourplex if it was theirs. We also gave them notice that we were moving and they say we owe them money, which we don’t. They are super unorganized with everything.

Ive had a couple of issue at my apartment but i have to say John maintenance person has actually been a hreat help he goes out of his way to help fix my ac on his own time glad to have him as a neighbor if not i would of had a bad night

The AHApts Maintenance Staff is fantastic - they are thoughtful, professional, and kind. All the fixes that Joon, Fred, and Mark have helped us with have been great.

Absolutely the place to live if you care about safety, security, convenience of location and good ownership. My apartment is located in the safest neighborhood in the San Antonio metro area. (source: FBI statistics 2016). There are many good places for dining, shopping and entertainment within a mile of my front door. Public transport a short walk away. Office and maintenance staff unfailingly polite and helpful. In past 18 months ownership has had the mature oak trees professionally trimmed and installed a new wood fence in the parking area. I really love where I live and never fail to recommend it to others.

The maintenance team at Chateaux Grove Apartments do a very good job addressing issues I have had. Recently they stopped a serious drip in my bathroom.. They had it completed in about 15 minutes and it works great!!! I have lived here at Chateaux Grove since 2016 and any issues have been addressed quickly and to my satisfaction!!!

Ive resided with Alamo Heights Apartments for almost six months. Staff continues to be informative, courteous, and prompt in response to my concerns/needs. The property is charming, the location great, and all maintenance requests have been responded to in a timely manner. I see improvements regularly (washing facility, process of trash, property grounds) and staff is visible, so Im aware that care and upkeep is a priority.

The staff is extremely friendly and they respond quickly to questions or issues. Some of the apartments are older but are well kept and clean. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to live in a safe neighborhood with great local business nearby.

I have lived at the Chelsea Apartments for over five years. I am extremely happy with the new management/staff and all the exciting changes they are doing to this property. They are very attentive to all the needs of this complex and I couldnt be happier to call this place my home. Kuddos to the wonderful staff for all they do!!!

Back to one star. Horrible service, no one ever answers the phones or returns calls. Been without a working AC for over 12 days now, each day over 100. Will never rent from this company or Ridgemont Properties after I get out of this lease. Do not rent from them. I’m also reporting to the BBB, they have poor ratings there as well.Updated-The new maintenance manager has been much more responsive.The staff seem friendly, but lack of action to resolve maintenance issues is very poor. I’ve had an open request for AC unit to be repaired for almost 2 weeks and even though it was determined the day I submitted request that I needed repairs, nothing has been done. Upon calling today, I was told issue was not reported from maintenance staff to management. I have tendency to believe the maintenance staff over the excuses provided by office. I hope this post will spur action. Due to allergies, it’s not feasible to open windows for relief from heat in apartment. The units are older and reasonably priced, and space is large and comfortable. I love the community and neighbors. Not impressed with the management at this time.

Im an elderly person on a fixed income, and the staff was very helpful in finding a suitable place for me. They seemed genuinely concerned for my safety and security. I am comfortable in my apartment and with my surroundings.

Apartments are in a great location which is why I picked them! Management team are very communicative and supportive. Maintenance requests are handled pretty damn well and the neighbors have been awesome!

So I’m typically not the type to review. But it appears there’s a better chance of getting a response this way than contacting the office. The management office is friendly. But that’s the only positive thing I can say. There’s a great lack in communication and it really shows how much they value their tenants. I was told to expect an email regarding my lease offer and it had not come. So I sent an email and received no response. Even a simple “sorry we are still working on it” is better than being ignored. I had an appointment today with Jamal to walk though my apartment. He didn’t show. And when I called the office their response was “oh he’s in training all week”. How does a manager not manage his calendar? This is office work flow 101. Apartment management offices everywhere are notorious for bad reputations. This office is just perpetuating that stigma and I had really hoped for better. Do I like where I live? In short, yes. Is the management office making me miserable and second guessing my decision to be here? Also, yes.

These apartments are great for the price. You want to pretend your a 09er with a lone star beer budget.... The staff is great and responsive to the recent leaks we had. We with common sense understand that leaks and things break down. Grow a pair and go cry somewhere else.

Very poor customer service. When comes to answering phones.Never answer most of the day. And when it comes to leaving messages they never return calls. And when you do finally speak to someone and leave a message for management. Or to help in A matter or have a question they cant help you ... Theyll leave a message to management who never return calls back.. at all.. Even e-mails are not returned. I thought when they cleaned house awhile back.. it would of gotten better. Guess I was wrong... The last crew was just as bad. Just sample things and questions and they cant even answer them professionally.

The people at the office are very nice and helpful, great team!!! No problems with the apartment, and if there was I know it would be taken care of right away.

Communication is little to nothing. I have nothing against the staff. In fact, every time I go in the office Im treated well. However, as I type this, the water main is being worked on and it would have been nice to be given a heads up. Now its been over an hour and no notice was ever given. If you are considering using Alamo Heights Apartments for residence, use caution.

I have live here about 6 months now and honestly, I have nothing but good things to say about the new team. Now granted I was not around for the old management team; however, I have heard horror stories from my neighbors. With all of the rain lately, it caused a leak in my living room. I reported it to the on call maintenance team and they came out right away to put a temporary patch and tarps down. The next morning they were right back out at my apartment and cleaned up their mess. Since then, I havent had any leaks. Thank you Alamo Heights apartments for your efforts and great customer service!

I read terrible reviews of this place and thought that maybe things had changed as they had come under new management fairly recently. Be warned. I had my apartment flooded on 2 separate occasions and currently have about 7 open service requests. Some of which havent been updated in weeks. They let a ceiling leak in my living room for literally a month before sending someone out to stop it. It is now a month after that, and they havent fixed the water damage knowing that there is definitely mold behind the walls. I was told by the manager, Jamal, that he would make sure the list of issues with my apartment would be addressed and an attempt to get approval for a transfer out of this unit and into another was completed. Their corporate offices would not agree to waive the transfer fees, so my children and I are now stuck in this moldy, roach infested building with holes in the door, the patio doors do not close all the way, and several smaller issues. Save yourself the trouble and go with a different company.

I wish that I could give a decent and polite review, but I cannot. Management is the most difficult to work with, so incredibly stubborn in answering emails, responding to service requests, and have a poor attitude, overall.I realize you get what you pay for but sadly, this is almost worse than that. I live here because it was out of complete desperation of scheduling and budget. Location is great - 40 years ago, this place must have been a fun little gem, but Ownership does not seem to really comprehend the conditions in which it is managed.Despite the worn down exterior, the interiors arent all that bad for what it is. But again, the excuses you get from management seem to give a 5th grader a run for his money for why he cant clean his room.It is a shame that it is such a disappointment to live here, but it is what it is. I would not recommend anyone rent from this company.

By far the worst place I have ever lived. A/C was constantly breaking and I had to threaten to get my lawyer to write a demand letter to get any kind of decent compensation for tearing our apartment up and ruining our clothes with fiberglass particles. The positive reviews on here are false, Travis Vorpahl is related to Iva Vorpahl who is the manager who refused to meet with me after I left work specifically to go talk about these issues. Gave me an eviction notice because they had a clerical error and does not enforce parking. Steer clear of this dump. They are under investigation by the City of Alamo Heights for fire code violations after I discovered all of our windows were painted shut.

They will lie, cheat, and steal to get your business and then leave you hanging when you need anything ! Weve had holes in our ceilings going on several weeks. They are in no rush to fix, dirt keeps coming out of the ceiling onto my clean dishes and clean shower! We dont know what they are doing to rectify the situation because they never answer emails. Now somehow the front door that protects the other residents safety has been kicked in and still no one has come to repair. But what does it matter that that door is off its hinges when they dont even add a secure door to then back for safety. I could go on and on about how horrible this company is at managing. Weve been telling them for 2 years we had mold in the bathroom and no one listens who fixes such a toxic situation. This is the worst place to live the management is disgustingly rude and snobby.

This company has no organization or respect for its tenants. The change in staff and management since my lease signing is worse off than the previous employees. I’ve had a gas leak in my home for 2 months and have put in multiple work orders, still nothing is fixed. I was overcharged nearly $500 on my last month’s rent and when I paid it and asked for it to be credited to my next month, they said it would be. Here it is the new month and management refuses to acknowledge my previous payment and tried to charge me rent in full! These people are pick pocket thieves in business suits and never return phone calls or honor requests for conferences. There is no security or reliability with this staff and I highly encourage other tenants to diligently find a different apartment leasing office. The lack of communication between management and its employees is incredibly inconsistent. Every promise from this company should be taken at face value, so get your lawyer ready if you are leasing with Alamo Heights Apartments!

Ive lived at Alamo Heights Apartments Bel-Aire twice now, about three years in between. I only left for an out of state move and when I was back in the area I realized I should try it again.There are a lot of bad reviews here. At the time of this review, the average is 1.8. I dont think its deserved but I have little experience with the other apartments offered.Anyway, back when I first rented here a few years ago the staff were laughably bad, at least one or two of the three-ish in the office at the time. Not unfriendly, just really clueless. I never recall having maintenance come out in that time. But, I could always pay rent and things worked as they should.This second time around has actually been a lot better. Night and day difference. I was happy enough before, because of the property in question, but now the staff Ive worked with have been quite great. This includes the maintenance team who have all been helpful and professional. Most of all, Tonya at the office is extremly cheerful and accomodating. Totally out of place compared to what it was like before, but then again I suspect things really have changed with the last overhaul. Ive never had a better experience renting an apartment before.Now, onto the property. I can pretty much only speak for the Bel-Aire. Its a place that youll most likely either love or hate. For me, I love it. Its old (late 40s, I believe), charming, creaky, and just feels a bit special. I do wish they didnt put up the grey paint and more modren light fixtures. The white paint and older fixtures seemed more sensible with it. Now, the clearcoat on my floor is coming up. The vinyl floor in the bathroom and kitchen is super tacky. But... I have a large garage (no door, unfortunately), friendly neighbors, and it just has this nice vintage charm.If you dont mind paying a little more to heat/cool the place and dont mind the very unusual wall furnace, its perfectly livable and fine. And of all of my complaints, its priced very modestly for what it is. I really dont know of a better deal on the market. To be in Alamo Heights, have a garage, not have a gate to deal with, etc, its fantastic. Of course, you have to expect the paint to not be perfect, the windows to be worn down, the doors to not close quite right, etc. I think that may get a bit better in time if its taken care of but it will always have some character. If it didnt have any character itd probably be twice the price.So for the price, the service, and the charming Bel-Aire, its 5 stars for me.
