Used to really love living here up until about 6 months ago at the start of the new year. Have been waiting about a month now to just get my dryer fixed. Have been told many times my problem is not a priority or an emergency as I see dryers being installed in vacant units around me all day long. Kinda a kick in the teeth when you pay $1000+ in rent every month for an apartment that is supposed to include a washer and dryer. Not to fond of the fact that when I call up there to get anything dealt with I am talked down to and treated like I am lucky to even live here. I know 2 people who live here and have infant children. They have had to go without water and power for more than a week and were expected to care for their children in those conditions. Ive seen the SWAT team show up and have a 12 hour stand off with a resident who shot someone here even. Cars are broken into all the time. Neighbors fighting constantly. The best part too is if you need something done urgently you will be told by the girl in the office that you are not a priority to them because they are busy. To be honest you could even get away with managing this property so poorly if it didnt cost as much as a brand new luxury apartment in Alamo Ranch. Just saying Id look at my options carefully before considering giving this place your hard earned money .

Most of the staff don’t care to listen to any concerns you may have as a tenant and make you feel like a inconvenience for them. No washer and dryer even though it is a amenity that was supposed to be provided when I moved in. The valet trash system is very poor quality

I’m a current resident that has been here for about a year and half. I’m extremely displeased with the treatment and urgency of the management and their team.I understand none of us were prepared for the snowstorm. However it has been over a month and a week, and my washer and sheet rock wall in the balcony area are still out of commission. I have made multiple attempts to get updates but all I get is “they are working on it this week”. An email was sent out a little over a week ago, stating that the team they had on site to work on the repairs will be more than likely concluding around 3/26/21. Two days ago I received another email stating my work order was completed for my washer and wall. When my wife went home nothing was done at all. When I call to find out what happened, why I received a notification that my work order marked done but really not completed. I got the run around from the manager Myra. And still no washer working in my unit. I also mentioned to her that there is a leak that has been going on in front of building four by the pavilion area. This has been spewing water for the last four weeks. Kids playing out there now have to watch for the big puddle of water that is almost reaching the playground. Yesterday I received a package delivery. The note that it was delivered to the office was left on my mail box. Today my wife went to pick up the package from the office and was told that it was not there. I tracked it with the delivery company and they assured me it was delivered to the office. I called the office back and spoke with Tyler, another staff member of this office. He let me know my matter was not of importance at this time and he didn’t had the time to check for a package since he had other stuff to do, or else his boss would get on him. He also stated he will look for the package in an hour and half. I told him that was not a good answer to say to your residents that you don’t have time and my issue wasn’t important. He replied with absolutely no care and repeated he will look for it in an hour and a half. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EVEN TRY TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. I’m currently working on moving but if you don’t have any other place to go, don’t come here either. You will be very disappointed.

Horrible ! I moved in March of 2021, starting off all of March no hot water ! Took maintenance forever to fix the issue let alone the front office to notify maintenance, moving forward, the ac vent in the master bedroom barley blows any cold air, I have a newborn at home and I can’t have it uncomfortable! I’ve been waiting for a toilet seat since mine has been messed up, the Sheetrock is still not repaired and is now forming black mold in the inside !!! The washer was replaced and still has no cold water or hot water so that leaves me to find time with two kids at home to wash clothes ! So do yourself a favor and stay the hell away from here, front office does not care about your issues, and will just give you the run around.

The management in this building is the worst. I moved here from California and they were great at first but once you move in they don’t care about you. I was told to wait a couple more days to move in because my unit wasn’t ready and the day I move in there is still so much wrong with the unit. I’ve been here about a month and the only thing that was fixed was the stove. Management gives you the runaround. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to move in

The leasing specialist Tyler, did a Fantastic job showing me and my wife these apartments. The energy feels great, and now really looking forward to moving in!!

Mayra did a phenomenal job with helping get exactly what I wanted. I have never seen anyone go over and beyond. She displayed great customer service and professionalism through the whole process.

I would like to acknowledge Izzy (HVAC Technician) for his professionalism, courteousness and proficiency. Izzy researched the age of my A/C prior to arriving. He listened to what I had to say describing the issue. Izzy then identified there was indeed an issue and proceeded to troubleshoot the cause. Once the repair was made, Izzy verified I was satisfied before leaving. Thank you, Izzy.

The apartment grounds are great and clean. The pool is a fun spot to visit during the summer times. As far as the units themselves they are fairly spacious and comfortable. The front office is very friendly and willing to work with you on any issue you have. The maintenance is very timely and able you work with you on any issue you have. My AC was on the fritz and the new maintenance team was able to fix it right away.

I want to thank Ashley and Sarah for all there help and assistance especially under this pandemic we are all facing. Everytime my family and I enter the office we are always greeted with a smile and jokes Ashley is hilarious and professional. Sarah has gone over and beyond along with maintenance to make sure we are taken care of.

I love this community. Office staff were Super friendly and nice. Sarah and Alejandro were amazing today, they welcomed me and addressed my issues instantly.

So far this place has been a hidden gem. I haven’t had any issues with the move in process, or any major maintenance issues. My neighbors are all pet friendly and understand that some dogs talk a lot. Overall I am pleased with the grounds and will be recommending to anyone who is looking.

I just recently moved into Brynwood. The complex and amenities are beautiful and modern. The area is clean and it consistently seems like that staff makes this a standard. The valet trash, daily outside upkeep, and multiple dog stations are just a few examples.More importantly, the staff is so wonderful. They are friendly, inviting, and willing to help within a moments notice. Additionally, the turnaround time that their maintenance team has is phenomenal. Jacob and Jemlix has fixed/repaired several things for my family within the day of letting the complex know. One example is when my water heater broke I was able to call my concern in right before closing time. Jacob showed up within 30 minutes and although it was going to take a couple of hours to fix, he did not hesitate and he did not seem bothered that he had to work way past his working hours.My family and I have lived in several apartments this one by far makes my family feel welcomed and we feel so prioritized. This is the best living experience I have had. Everyone is very professional and again I cannot praise the experience I have had living here.

There are many positive things that Brynwood has to offer. Living here has been a great experience. The management is very professional. Yassy has always shown that she goes beyond to ensure my family needs are met and addresses any concerns I have had; you can tell she is very compassionate about her job while maintaining a good relationship with the residents. The maintenance team is top notch and through the time I have been living here I have not had any issues. During summer my AC broke and was promised it was going to be fixed by the end of the day. Within an hour Jacob showed up and had the AC running in no time. After reading other reviews, I can say I have never had a negative experience with any of the staff and have always been treated with the highest respect. The community is very nice, I feel very safe at the property. Community events are always fun and I appreciate all they have done for the children living here. The back to school back pack and school supply drive was a hit. They also have pizza nights which is wonderful if you are a working family and need a break from making dinner. Wine nights are also a great plus. I like the fact that there are cameras through the complex. The property has had many updates through the year and I would high recommend this location for anyone who is looking for a luxurious feel.

I love living here. This place brings a peace of calmness. Office staff are always available and very friendly. When I put in work orders they are always done in a timely matter. First time living in the city and in an apartment. I can not complain at all.

My family and I have lived in this apartment complex almost 5 years. The only reason we are moving out this summer is because we are buying a house. I have to say reading some of these review I am a little surprised at the negative ones because I have never personally experienced some of the things I read. The previous office management was HORRIBLE but the new office management has been AMAZING. I have NEVER seen bugs in my apartment. They keep the grounds well kept and cared for. The maintenance team is great and issues are always resolved in a timely manner. Its peaceful here and neighbors are very nice. I always see reviews about parking but since I have a covered parking I have not had issues other than people trying to park in my paid parking spot. Glad to finally see them towing people. Dont park in a spot you know you dont pay for! This is common sense people. I would definitely recommend this complex. Ive lived in other complexes around San Antonio and this has by far been the best one.

DON’T move here! There are many vacancies for a reason. Management don’t care since they took over. So many issues here and a lot of tenants are leaving.

The apartment complex is nothing but awesome. The apartment complex is always clean and very well lit up at night. The apartment team always makes me feel safe. I have children so feeling safe is very important to me. There is security that goes around at night. Also, l appreciate the fact that there is a 24 hour maintenance service line. I highly recommend Brynwood to anyone who is looking for a safe and home like environment.

I moved in November 2017 and have had only a few problems. There have been issues with ants (first floor apartment and this has been corrected), residents not picking up after their dogs or letting them roam off-lease, and there are way too many unused covered parking spaces that should be regular (free) spaces. I ended up renting a space so I dont have to hunt for a spot all the time - it also prevents me from getting inside a brazen bull every time I need to go somewhere in the summer. Ive had only one issue with billing which was corrected fairly easily.I very much want to have my apartment renovated, but Ive been told that takes 3 weeks which is not an acceptable time frame (IMO), so I guess Im stuck with what I have. BUT its not too bad...just disappointing that I moved in right before the renovations started. The last downside is that I was promised a $400 referral bonus that I am still waiting on. I cant help but wonder if we (myself and the other tenants waiting) will ever see this credit on our accounts.I have wonderful neighbors that welcomed me with open arms and always offer help when I need it. Maintenance is always friendly and quick to fix anything that goes wrong. Also, Ive had no issues with the office staff even though they seem to cycle through people every month. Overall, I love my apartment and the community and will likely stay here for at least another year.

Apartments have turned into utterly trash, now they were bought by new management which sheds more light into the issues all over. The trash is always overflowing, flies pest and etc. there is shootings and all here. Save ur money and move somewhere safe, and clean!! Moved in during September apartments still have no sink drawers installed to this day.

With out a doubt a shining star that is hidden and needs to be praised, my community has come a long way from different managements trying to managed it and failing to do so…I feel not only me but the other residents should give a shout out to the current management team we have now! they are so AWESOME!They actually care about the residents who live here and take pride in how the community should look. I just watched the Manager “Yasi” do grounds and lead by example her team members,Good old Fashion management that does no harm in getting there hands dirty once in a while. Resident Events are amazing always giving and making sure to get a smile. Maintenance team is amazing always professional they power wash hallways they look beautiful! JEM is one of my favorite persons when he comes to do work orders they are always taken care of or an explanation will be given as to when it will be fully completed.Office staff is amazing they have an amazing leader, they seem new to there job, at times but they are getting there!lights at night look better I told the manager once light was not working in building 11 and she made sure to get it fixed that every same day. I recommend this property you will not regret it.They have come a long way, you will have staff who care about were you live and call home.

Beautiful property alot of good amenities

Everyone is so nice and helpful. I’ve had furniture delivered to the office and they have helped me to take it upstairs. I offered money and they would not take it. The maintenance people are also nice and respectful of your requests as well as getting the job done in a timely manner. The residents are mainly families or couples, no one sketchy. My apartment is a little outdated but there are renovated apartments at a higher rate. There are no signs of roaches. There’s dryer and washer at every unit. They have weekly community events and they have trash valet. However, I haven’t figured out the cable that they charge us for 🤨

Brynwood is a great place to live, the staff is awesome!easy to talk to and they care for their residents, always holding events for them and making sure the property is comfortable and pretty.

The property is clean and it has a nice outdoor area with a ping pong table and corn hole. Office staff is awesome and maintenance team is always on top of things. They have resident events regularly which is a good time to meet your neighbors.

6 mths ago my neighbor and I let the apartments know we heard something in the wall, instead of having pest control come out, they had maintenance and said nothing was wrong. In April, our washing machines kept leaking onto the downstairs tenants and maintenance replaced the hose to fix it. However, everytime a few days later would happen again. They said there was little holes in the hose. I told them its the rats in the walls that they failed to take care of 6mths ago. They sent pest control out and guess what? Rodent droppings behind the washing machine. Two issues, pest control has not gotten rid of the rodents even tho they confirmed it a mth ago! And I have not been able to do laundry in a mth bc the apartments has not sent anyone to replace the hose!

If you want to live where everything is happening you need to live at Brynwood apartments. It is conveniently located literally off of 1604, and a 5-7 minute drive to 410 and I-10. Brynwood is a beautiful, clean, well maintained and fully secured property. The entire staff, especially Yassy and maintenance crew, Jemlix and Jacob are always doing an excellent job of keeping the property to highest standards and they are the friendliest people in the 210!! Great amenities include free coffee dispenser that is open all daily, conference/business room, pool and beautiful courtyard, as well as regularly scheduled free exciting events to help everyone get to know there neighbors even better. Brynwood is definitely the place to live in San Antonio.

ONLY reason i give one star is for the maintenance, they are very good at helping out with any problems i have and get it done pretty quick. Other than that 0 stars all the way. NEVER have parking. If i get home after 7 I have to park at least 2 buildings down from mine. Once i even had to park in handicap cause there was nowhere else to park unless i want to park by the front gate when i live by the back gate. With a 2 year old and it raining i was not going to do that. Being that i parked in handicap my car got towed. $223 to get my car back just cause i had nowhere else to park in my own place of living. When i moved in they told me my inspection was done and everything was fine. But when i did my personal walk through i found multiple problems (which still havent been fixed after 4 months living here). Its pretty obvious the person that lived there before me had a pet. I can still smell the pee in the carpet. The door to the porch is scratched up as well as the wood out there. My carpet is disgusting, burnt holes & bleach spots. The bathtub paint started peeling the first time i took a shower in it. By now it is pretty much all gone. The toilet is nasty with i guess rust stains(?) and the handle on the toilet is partially broken. There was also small black hairs all over the bathroom(disgusting) and the sink does not drain properly. Once my lease is up i will most definitely NOT be renewing!!!!!!!!!!

I did come here to lease because my cousin lives here, but I am really leasing because Yassi made it a special experience I really had a great experience she is always busy, but she makes time for her residents she really cares! I have also met the other staff members i am very excited to live here!!

Brynwood is an amazing place to live. I have lived here in 2 different units for 2 years. Office staff,especially Yassi is super friendly, efficient, and attentive to apartment community and residents. Maintanence staff, especially Jacob is fast, reliable, and respectful. I had zero to no problems with either of my units and if I did-Jacob made sure to have it done that day if not the next morning. Thanks to a great staff (shout out to Shanice who has made my experience in the office extremely personal---she makes me feel like she cares) I dont have any major complaints. I am about to sign my 3rd lease, and I would recommend anyone to live here. The staff is amazing, but Shanice is my go to person...I would like to send a personal thanks to her for all that she has done for me!! I moved to this complex after living on the NE side in an apartment that had 22 rats both alive and dead. My family has peace of mind and has finally felt safe here. Having disabled children, their peace of mind and safety is my TOP priority.

The staff was very helpful and nice. My daughter loved when I went back to turn in the application she got so happy. I really hope we get approved, because I would love to live here. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very nice people, and really nice floor plans.

Lived there for a year, had problems with the upstairs neighbors being loud the entire 12 months. I complained several times to management but i got the excuse that manager lives in the same apartment complex and has to deal with the same problem. Came home from work to cars being broken into two different times, instead of having security they put brighter lights outside like that will deter thieves from vandalizing someones car. No parking what so ever unless you are forced to pay 20 bucks for parking. laundry room is dirty, gym is nasty and very small, and to top it off they will fine you for anything they feel is justified. cable is forced on you even if you have your own provider in which you will pay 39.99 to the apartments plus your normal cable bill, they are charged balk account which is 10-15 dollars each apartment what a scam. upon moving out they will try there hardest to charge you anything even if it made up. i left the apartment in great condition, and they still charged me for normal wear and tear, paint chip came off the bath tub which was cheaply painted-120.00, i was also charged carpet clean 55.00 when i had already cleaned the carpet perfectly, fridge cleaning charge25.00 when i clean it head to toe, mail box key broken the very last time i used it because the locks jammed up as usual was another 10.00 charge, when i had reported that same mail box several times. 3 broken keys over 12 months. they had already charged me a 500.00 fee just to move in plus 370.00 bucks after i left. this place is a money hungry scamming apartment complex. If you what to live comfortably do not i repeat do not live in this terrible place.

Wow! I’m looking for an apartment for my daughter. Will not be looking into these apartments due to the low ratings and poor comments. The people that live there know best. I’ll be looking elsewhere.

Response to maintenance issues have been attended to in a timely manner. Management knows me by name and apt number and service dog’s name. Handicap parking is an issue. I’ve been told a new spot will be made. However I do think there is a family with two cars using two handicap spots when they could get by with one. My biggest complaint would be the pet owners that are so disrespectful and don’t pick up after their dogs. Can’t even play in the dog park because of dog feces everywhere. Let alone walk or play in commons area due to same reason.For those of you that are so unhappy then maybe you ought to move. I’ve been in enough apt complexes to know this is a good place to live. Living here at Brynwood has been nothing but delightful. Everyone who works here is very professional and handles any concerns in a timely matter. Yassy and Shanice are the go to people when you have questions or concerns about any billing issues. Jacob is always ensuring that any thing wrong in the apartment gets fixed as soon as possible. Again, I love living here and feel very welcomed.

Spent about a year in this complex in a one bedroom and only one word can describe this place. Terrible.Dont waste your time and money.I was fined 100 for putting out my trash too early ( I work long shifts so its either place it out for trash pick up early or miss trash pick up, which I paid for)first day I moved in I had to deal with roaches and electrical sockets not working.a few months later, I noticed that there is 0 parking and that every month or so youll get a notice about a car being vandalized or broken into.The neighbors do not care about how loud they are being and it was terrible.there was a family below me who would constantly scream at their kids and camp out in their cars right outside playing loud music.Complained to management about every problem but nothing was ever done. Instead I was given massive amounts of sass and disrespect.Dont comment back on this, I do not care about what you have to say about your complex.

I have lived in many apartments and owned a home before I moved here into this apartment complex. I love the fact that it is next door to the Elementary. I feel very safe that I am able to allow my children to walk home. I have seen the staff treat the children who come through the office after school with such care and at times have offered the children snacks. Overall I am very happy with the experience. I like the fact that I am close to most major highways and have an easy access to the highway in multiple directions. I love that it is close to many shopping centers and gas stations.There are many times where I have been outside of my apartment late at night and have exercised in the gym at random hours; I have never felt unsafe, in fact I like that the gym has a camera for my safety. When there have been safety concerns the management ensures that the residents are aware of what is going on and send out reminders and tips about safety. Security is also seen driving around at night.Office staff is very friendly and kind. They have never hesitated or put my issues to the side. There is a 24 hour line for emergencies which I have called several times and my issues are taken care of very timely. I would recommend that if you have any issues you speak to Yassy or Jacob. They are the only ones that have been part of the management for a while and take the time to really hear you out. Jacob is very approachable and goes out of his way even after hours to make sure things are fixed. Jemlix is very professional too, and does a very good job and is very friendly. Johanna and JD seem to be a hit or miss, depends if they are busy. I had to follow up with them a few times to see if my work order was put in or I have gotten a response that they do not know and never get back to me.The appearance of the apartment is very nice. I have friends who live in the new renovated apartments and they are nothing but high standards; very clean and crisp. Just about every day you see someone cleaning the property. I love that there are multiple dog stations and the dog park. The complex is lit up and the pool looks amazing. There are parking issues but there is covered parking for a low monthly charge. I like that I have that option to rent a spot. There is a new package room which I love because I know I will be getting my packages and a photo is sent to show that I picked up the package.Brynwood has many events that are very family oriented. The families and individuals that live here are all very friendly.Overall, I can not give this apartment complex a bad rating.

All I can say about this awful place is that there is no security whatsoever. My fathers truck was stolen right out of his parking garage and with no cameras anywhere at this location, there was no help the facility could offer. You would think since this is a gated complex, they would put fourth the money to get cameras installed at least at the front and back gates. His truck was recovered, but whenever he went to the office the woman working there told him that he would be unable to break his lease without paying the remaining two months rent. He still wished to move, so he asked her if there was any way they could work out some sort of payment plan, which she refused. She also threatened to turn him into a collection agency. These employees have no sympathy for the renters, nor do they seem to care about the safety issues. According to a woman who lives in the same building as my father, a woman who lives a floor above them deals drugs out of her APARTMENT. She brought this to the attention at the folks at the front desk, who claimed that it was out of their hands. Really? Last time I checked it was ILLEGAL to deal drugs and theres nothing they can do about that? This place is completely unsafe. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS PLACE. Over priced and completely inconsiderate staff.

DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS! We moved my daughter into these apartments mid October. The office staff said the apartment had been inspected before my daughter moved in and it was ready to go. Lies! The dishwasher didn’t work. The closet door was falling apart. There was hair around the sink that looked like it had been there for months! The toilet is so rusted it looks like someone crapped in it and didn’t clean it out! There’s paint peeling off the tile in the shower. There was paint on kitchen floor and bathroom floors. One of the window locks is broken as well. And to top it off, it smelled like cigarette smoke. Not like someone had a cigarette or two. No. Whoever lived there before smoked and the carpet should have been treated as well as the walls. Repeated calls to the office only got the closet door glued back together. That’s just the big stuff. Haven’t mentioned the minor stuff that’s wrong! It’s November and we’re about to pay to have carpet treated ourselves seeing as my daughter has asthma. Still no working dishwasher. Toilet still looks the same after we’ve used CLR and bleach to clean it! All this to say if you don’t want to deal with stuff like this, I suggest you look at another apartment complex!

I enjoy living in this community and have no complaints. The office staff is nice, I have nice and friendly neighbors (which is a plus) and it is relatively quiet. I would recommend Brynwood Apartments.

Staff is completely rude!!! And agree with all the others when they will not work with you what-so-ever! I was pregnant and could not do the stairs and tried to work something out and they refused! So I paid them rent for the rest of the lease and then not even a month later I receive a bill collector notice for some pet fees and cleaning of carpet...I DO NOT OWN A PET! I recommend not to rent here along with all that the parking is horrible!

The old management was terrible...and the new management that took over (started November 2017) is even worse. My husband and I are pretty easy going, but...theres only so much we can tolerate. Cant wait to be out of this lease!! The complex is nice, but dont let that convince you to stay. Seriously, save yourself from endless headaches and go elsewhere.

Shanice and Yassy are great, also the new mail room is too- wish I could just review them. But the dogs barking at all hours of the night are intolerable, they waken my baby and management does nothing. The garbage man, Jacob, tries to make moves on every woman, he’s made me and my friends uncomfortable. I see from previous reviews, this isn’t new, there’s 3-4 comments regarding the same person, but management instead of reading them, just allowed him to move into the building. One of my friends has to live right next to him. He drives his loud truck around the parking lot after 11 when my baby is sleeping. Hopefully the dogs barking on balcony all night will be address, and hopefully pool won’t be closed 1/2 the summer again. Ladies, especially single moms with children, I’d suggest find somewhere else. These expense apartments are not worth feeling uncomfortable and having concerns ignored.

I have liked living here so far but am concerned for safety. Seems to be a lot of car break ins and I dont feel safe living here. One of the mirrors on my car was smashed and no one even left a letter or contacted me when they did it. I wish they would take further safety measures especially since there are a lot of kids that live here. I am also scared to move out because of all of the complaints about them springing crazy charges on people for the silliest things. Overall, I love living here and the staff have been friendly but Im scared that will change down the road and hope that I get lucky and this smashed window that happened here doesnt lead to my car being broken into like so many other people and hope they install cameras.

This place really is a money hungry scam, and maintenance men are creepers. Tried to call corporate several times with no response. Please do not waste your money. Better places to rent at.

Don’t. Car broken into. Randoms are always trying to walk into my (locked) apartment. Pools always closed. Maintenance man, Jacob is a total creep. Dog poop everywhere. Just don’t.

They sent me my rent renewal (only renewing because I have to) with no notification. Called me to tell me to sign it within 24 hours or they’d have to resend the offer at a higher price. I signed it THE SECOND I GOT OFF THE CALL and they STILL SENT ME A NEW MORE EXPENSIVE LEASE. Now when I call the office to dispute this, I get sent to voicemail and their “we will get back to you as soon as possible” is bullshit because they will never call you back. This place is trash and not at all worth the money or time. Save your money and don’t move here. The amenities suck, the staff sucks, the apartments suck, the parking sucks, it’s overpriced and not at all worth it.

The back security gate is open 24/7. And the staff doesnt know how to talk to its residents. I definitely will not be renewing my lease.

The Office staff has really made a difference as far as customer service and experience here in San Antonio. My work orders have always been taking care of on time. the property is always clean, we really enjoy the residents events. The person who has stood out the most to me and my family is Shanice the leasing agent. she has made me and my family feel comfortable and is always a smiling face Ohh yess and we love the cookies she bakes every morning!!Shes very business professional she really is a listener. the managers Yassy and Lori have always made a good impression also going above and beyond . If you are looking for a apartment this a place to be. :)

A month after moving they try to get almost $800 from you. Complete and total rip off. Avoid this place like the plague. I turned in 60 day notice exaxtly 60 days prior to moving. Trying to get $370 for that. Criminals. Nightmare over in 2 days. Rudest people Ive ever lived around and NO help from mgt even though I complained for 11 months. Goodbye good riddance.

Extremely rude office staff. Someone named Nicole needed to be hugged more as a child I guess. She was completely rude and should not have a job that deals with the public in any way. What a shame for such a nice property to have such a mean and ugly person on their staff. I definitely WILL NOT be renting an apartment here.

I have no option to edit my previous review, so here is a newly updated one for ya.2 Stars have been lost from my initial review. I am STILL WAITING on the $400 Im owed for a referral from APRIL. Sat down with the community manager in front of her boss (district/regional manager) after her response to my last review and still NOTHING. At that time she also promised maintenance would call me 30 minutes prior to entering my apartment the next day for a patio check. I received no call. We also spoke about having my ancient appliances changed out for new ones. She said shed get back to me about it.....still waiting.... OH! and of course dont let me forget that when I initially turned in my paperwork for the referral bonus it contained all of my information including my full social security number and no one in the office can find it. That is what they do with sensitive information?!?There is no system for receiving packages and Im told to just grab mine because the office is always understaffed. Anyone could walk away with any package and I bet you the office wouldnt be liable.The gate on the dog park has been broken for MONTHS. We are consistently running out of bags to pick up dog waste and the dog waste bins have been overflowing for weeks at a time. The recycle dumpster and trash compactor are also always overflowing and are a complete mess (sorry for anyone who lives near it and has to deal with that stench and view). There are fire ant mounds EVERYWHERE all the time and at least 2 of my neighbors (same building) have been hospitalized for spider bites (brown recluse), so Im not sure why we are paying for pest control every month.The community continues to spend money on renovating apartments and throwing community events, but completely neglect the basics of running a business like this. Lets not forget they spent..I can only guess how much...to resurface the parking lots. The next week, the pot holes were back. Complete failure and waste of money.During the worst of our city-wide water restrictions this year, our pool was completely drained and refilled at least twice. The pool is almost always filthy with food and trash and people throw bones wherever they want. My dog got a hold of one, it splintered when he bit into it, and I had to take him to the vet thanks to the damage it did to his stomach. I have also found very large, industrial razor blades in the grass behind the maintenance building for any kid or animal to get a hold of and there was an incident where someone let live lobsters loose in the grass on a hot day. There were at least six and there were a lot of dogs and children playing in the area. No surprise that management did absolutely nothing about it.This area is very windy and the pool has new canopy seating that turns into an impalement waiting to happen. I dont even bother going near that area anymore because its unsafe for people and animals.I received my lease renewal and it claims Ive been given twice as many access fobs and mail keys as I actually received and that to replace each one not turned in when I move out is a $50-75 fee...EACH. I will NOT sign this renewal until they correct this and a few other issues on the renewal. At this point, I will only work with Heather in the office because the manager cant get things done and the other girl is either always in a bad mood or thinks shes better than everyone (havent figured out which yet).This is not my first encounter with Gray Star, but just like my first, this experience sucks! Ive heard this place changes management often, so hopefully it will change again soon. Could you imagine what it would be like if this place were run by people that cared about their residents rather than people who see this as just a paycheck?!To summarize, Ill be renewing my lease, but Im already looking for alternatives for next year. The only reason this place still has 2 stars from me is the location and my neighbors.

Its a really nice place, they take out your trash for you. Nice gym, nice swimming pool, friendly staff here. I havent had a problem since i moved in.

Seriously just save your time and don’t move here. Just got charged 50 dollars for a first time trash violation. My RECYCLING fell off the top of my trash can and so the valet trash people didn’t pick it up. Fixed the error but not before getting charged. Quick phone call would have done the trick but this place is too money hungry to treat their costumers as real people. The staff is insufferable and more and more charges keep popping up on my account for things I have no clue about or were accidental and could be fixed with a quick phone call. No one here cares about you, they just want to make a quick buck. Evident by the way they copy and paste responses to all of their terrible reviews. Shoutout to the receptionists though who are as nice as they can be even with the awful management.

Dont waste your money or your time. Things are never fixed on time or right and they dont care.

Staff are friendly. Neighborhood is generally quiet and safe.
