I loved my nails she was very detailed came out so good. Definitely going to be my go to place from now on. I don’t know her name but they all seemed great and very friendly.

Always a fun experience. If I dont know exactly what I want they always have amazing ideas. The last time I went we tried Hypercolor nail polish, ( changes colors in different temperatures) It was like a time hop back to the 90s and I love them. Notice the pinky nail is two different colors, I put it in cold water to show the color change . They added a touch of spring with ring finger flowers and Perfection! This is my go to salon

The first time I tried this place I went back once because they nail polish chipped and over the week they chipped an additional three times and so I just went somewhere else and had them fixed, well I made an appointment today thinking it what with the same person who fixed them and it wasn’t, I felt stupid but I went anyway and hoped them to be better… well they weren’t as soon as I got home they were chipped again and they literally tried to charge me 42$ for a fill and just plain yellow polish and then I asked for them to put glitter on that I brought and she said no because it doesn’t show up on the yellow color only black so I just let her finish and honestly I only paid 40$ and told her I would not be coming back for telling me next time I have to have the extra 2$! I just don’t feel what she did was worth that much money I ended up going home and filling them more straight and putting my dam glitter on them and they look fabulous and it does work on yellow nails! Ladies go somewhere where quality is picked over quantity! They OVERPRICED for bad product and that’s not how you sell your business. Make your money worth it, their products they use are not very good and I wish I had a better experience but ON TO THE NEXT! Good luck ladies.

First time here and we are very happy with our nails. The owner was very kind and patient with us being late, as I thought I scheduled at my usual Solar in Keizer. Oops. I always pre trim my nails before an appointment so I had no issues, my sister on the other hand said it was a bit rough with the nail clippings and filing, her cuticles bled a bit but she was happy with the overall product.

I made a appointment and when I got there there were only 2 people making nails, the appointment I made was for nails and a pedicure they wanted to charge me more 100$ for making both things, they were very busy and they still kept making appointments, my nails only has 3 days that have been done and this was the result… the nails don’t have a good shape the paint faded, oway the old owners were better, o don’t Recomend this place

I really like how they do my nails to fit my small fingers. However when I asked if they could do design one lady says yes. Then when I get to the other lady and show her my design she said no she couldnt do it. Ive been there 2 times already. First time my nails started coming off on day for. I was just there 2 days ago and one looks like its going to lose up. Im torn because I like this place for most part. Ladies are nice and they are right across from my work. So good location for me. Plus they do great nails over all. I just like my designs on my nails and they need to last longer then a week.

I took my daughter here to get her nails filled and they look AWFUL!!! I can not even begin to say how horrid of a job that was done. And they charged her $45 for a fill!!!! Seriously?! They looked better grown out. Do not recommend at all!!

I got a pedicure here about a week ago the lady was really nice but I thought there was more two pedicures than there was lol I could paint my own toenails but all the employees were super nice

Okay I read a lot of poor reviews and decided to give this place a chance. I am opting to leave this review because I had a really positive experience with them. I got the deluxe pedicure for $42 and got the best pedicure massage of my life! Even other places I have been too where I pay for longer massages didn’t have this much attention to their massages. My toes look great, my experience with Henry was awesome. I cant speak on their acrylics or full sets but they got the pedicures down pat! I will be returning.

I decided to give this place a try, went and realize they had only one person in getting a pedicure. I thought maybe because it’s a Monday they’re slow? Well NEVER again will I go here. I got a fill and my nails were bumpy, the shape wasn’t what I asked for. Not all my nails look the same AND they over charge! I paid $55. I normally go elsewhere but my friend wanted to give this place a try so we did. She had a bad experience too. She didn’t like her nail color and asked for a nail color change, well the lady was saying how long it would take her to change it. They had no other customers! That’s called being lazy.

I went here despite the rating being low and I am so glad I did. Their prices are similar to other salons in the area, so theyre not super cheap, but theyre not expensive either. I told the lady there that I was getting a manicure to cheer myself up, and close to an hour and a half later, I am so happy with my nails. Every step of the way, she was very careful and methodical. I felt like she actually cared about the nails, which is not something I have experienced at many other salons. The nails themselves turned out amazing, and the experience was relaxing. I will definitely be coming back.

This is my go to place for pedicures and manicures. They are very clean, efficient, reasonably priced, a d do an amazing job. I highly recommend them!

Myself, daughter in law and her mom went in today to get 3 pedicures, a manicure, a fill and a nail fix for my daughter in law and sons wedding on Sunday. After getting told the it was going to be $140, when we were finished they charged me $188. Very unprofessional when I asked about it. Very pushy about what kind of polish they wanted us to have. Charged for a design she did on one finger that looks awful. It is supposed to be my sons initials.

I have no idea why this place has such bad reviews! Got both beautiful acrylic nails and bought a pedicure for my bestie and was a total of $88 including a nail kit which was such a great value! And for the price, the acrylic nails are beautiful, not totally perfect, had one side of my nail missing glitter but nobody else will notice that but me and I freaking love them! For the price they are incredible and she took her time making them perfect and listened to everything I wanted to make sure I was completely happy with them 💞 I will be coming back!

Haven’t been in shop for awhile, they did a amazing job, the lady was so so so sweet and we chatted and I could not complain, plus it was only $65 for lots of design, color, and time. Only took about a hour also !!

Had my nails done today at South Salem Solar Nails by Kim and they look so great. The color selection is fantastic. You will definitely be able to find that perfect color for your new look.The shop is under new management and they have redecorated with new paint, all new nail and pedicure stations and the colors for your nails all over the walls.Everyone was very welcoming and it was a very relaxing experience. I highly recommend this salon. My nails look great.

Our appointment was for 5 o’clock and they didn’t start my nails until 6, and then the lady rushed to do my nails and got polish all over my fingers. Then she got up and left and didn’t even fix what she did.The appointment might have better if they hadn’t over booked themselves so much. And there were so many other people in there waiting. It just was not worth the money at all!

They got me in same day! And Monica did a wonderful job designing and doing my nails! I wish I could post a picture on here but they look so good!

I have been so disappointed with the places we have been getting our nails done lately. One place we went to for years and they just got worse and worse. So about 2 years ago we started trying out other places... well, we finally found one that we love! The girls were so sweet. Did a great job and really took care of us. Enjoyed meeting family of Monica, the manager. Her little sister did the flowers. Her older sister, Kim was just in to help with picking colors as she is in a totally different line of work, but we really enjoyed visiting with her. Kim you are awesome! You need to be PR for this place. Anyway, my daughter, Brittany and I will be back on a regular basis. Guaranteed!

I had come in with my daughter to get a full set solar nails, not even 3 days of me having my nails on one had broken off. I called and yes they were willing to fix it for me. No sooner than I got home from just getting one nail fixed another had broken I had called back to get it fixed . I was charged 5 dollars for the repair. After 8 days of me having my nails done yet another had broken off at this point I was very frustrated. I called and requested an entire new set. I came in and they did a fill they are still bumpy and uneven and I had asked for coffin shaped... and I got some square some round square. Extremely disappointed I will not be returning.

A friend of mine approximately 17+ yrs ago brought me here for my birthday for a deluxe pedicure. After that I have been coming here ever since. It doesnt feel like its been that long, but it has. I love it here, the girls are great, friendly, helpful, caring wonderful staff. I have NOT found a better place. Its all about you when you walk through their door. I gave this place another chance because I was told they were under new management. They were rude and wouldn’t listen to what I wanted. The lady who did the dandy lion design on my nails got black nail polish on my new phone and phone case.I will never go here againTop line nails are way better

A Very nice new remodel (so so so many new colors to choose). It’s under new management and it shows! Customer service was on point and they payed close attention to details. I’m very please with the way nails turned out and my whole experience.

All of my nails are an uneven length and some look lumpy and others look really thin and weird. the person that did mine filed so much into one finger that it bled and even after she noticed she continued to file.

Very kind and fast and my nails are amazing. Good prices and clean establishment!

Im not sure how my review of 2 months ago with the new owners has been deleted, but i was a 2 week customer for years from the former owner and the staff knew and did a tremendous pedicure. The new ownership under Covid precautions was atrocious. Monica did not wear a mask, sneezed into her hands I and touched items to bring to other technicians. I will never return. I feel bad for the technicians who have known me for years and do a tremendous job.

My sister and I decided to try this place out since it was close to home. The service was horrible. The staff was rude and pushy. The lady who did my nails left a lot of excess glue, didn’t push back cuticles and filed my nails unevenly. They also charged us almost $100 for 2 sets of nails.While the lady was doing my nails she took a call about an appointment and I could not believe how rude she was. She refused to make an appointment for the person on the other end even though it was for before closing and said, very rudely, “ we actually do want to go home sometime today”. After hanging up she joked them. We will definitely not be returning and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

My friend went and got her nails done yesterday. They did a very poor job to the point where she was able to easily take them off today. They werent clean and the paint chipped.

Terrible. Overcharged us by $40.00. They were rude. Cut my daughters finger. Cut my daughters mother-in-laws toe. Wont go there again. Make sure if you do go you find out the price before you get your service done.

Will never go there or recommend anyone to go there ever again. Sent someone in to see Heidi and she charged her 70 dollars for nails. Shes an ederly woman on a fixed income and because of a health issue she shakes. Terrible business practice to pick and choose pricing upon customers just because she couldnt hold still.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Made an appointment at 6pm got there early and waited over 15 minutes for them to take another woman who walked in after me. Plus the way they do a full set/fill is not the greatest. Last time my nails weren’t the same length which I fixed once I got home. And the guy didn’t want me to wash my hands before painting them. Go here at your own risk. Literally only went because it’s close to my house. Now I’ll be going back to West Salem so they can be done right.

I came in for a fill and the nail technician realized that my nails were lifting and gave me a whole new set. They look awesome, he was so thorough! Very happy with the shape too.

Will never return. Paid $31 dollars for a fill, which was fine. But the male who did them was very rude, didn’t ask what shape or anything that I wanted, did the wrong color and none of the nail shapes match. Rushed and didn’t care about the outcome. Horrible experience. There are a bunch of bubbles in my shellac and I told the lady multiple times that there was bubbles and they even got the top coat on my fingers. On top of that my nails were sharp around the edges and I told her multiple times that they were sharp as well. Wont be going there anymore. Ive gave them more than enough tries. Oh and there is color of something else in my polish too on one finger!

I have got my nails done a ton of times, and this is probably one of the top 3 worst experiences i’ve ever had.I made an appointment, but waited a good 45 mins before they started on my nails.and then manicure itself was the WORST I have ever had. the polish was uneven (you could even see through parts of it). she missed corners so it looked really messy, filed them crooked, and some nails were longer than others.waste of time. waste of money. I left feeling so upset and disappointed.

I was very u hapot with getting my nails filled. The lady after I told her not to cut off my real nails just trim them she cut them all the way down to the skin, then didnt properly match my nails to one another, and the color isnt full on the nail. This was my first time coming here, and I wont be coming back.

Place is absolutely a joke of a business. All the workers here have such an entitled attitude like you are just wasting there time and they can talk to you however they. Dont bother with an appointment because they could care less. My wifes nails lasted on day because they started coming undone and when she called they were snotty and told her not to be late, but we show up early and they sarcastically tell her to have a seat its going to be a minute. If your not worth their time then you shouldnt let them waste your time. There are so many better place to go and get your nails. Dont make the mistake of coming here

Got my nails done here over mothers day weekend, I have not been here since the change of management and they told me they were giving me Solar nails, but let me tell you-they did NOT! my nails started chipping within a week and the color was un-even and the price was more then what I usually pay at my usual place where my nails can last up to 2 months no problem! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT SOLAR NAILS, or if you want your nails to last longer than a week, take your money else where!

This nail shop has let it go! Used to be my favorite spot . Not anymore my eyebrow wax was terrible two different shapes. Got a French tip red spots from my last set and fuzz in my nails. The lady said nothing so neither did I. I just paid EVEN TIPPED, and left. Very disappointed because this was my favorite place. I was most comfortable there! Too bad.

The people working here make you feel very uncomfortable upon entering and they speak foreign languages constantly and go as far as making it obvious they talk about customers amongst themselves then on occasion will have a good laugh. They are not cost friendly so for the cost definitely go elsewhere cuz the service and actual job they do stinks

Im not as happy with the pedicure I got this time. Theres one girl thats been there a long time and shes the best. The girl that did my pedicure this time didnt cut my nails. I cut them myself when I got home and it kinda ruined my pedicure and it was the gel kind $50.00 . I am pretty upset over it needless to say. $50.00 down the drain. Live and Learn.

First time was great that I came back for that lady again. I felt rushed compared to last service but last service was a full service. Maybe they just cater to bigger the service bigger the income... I brought my teen in to experience a pedi. He got skipped not by one but 3 others. All I get is I didnt know. Assuming the owner is the male. He was on a break for some time. The least he could have done is made it right. Never be back!

The guy sucks ass!!!! I just went and I asked for coffin shaped nails and he made them really deformed and fat and he made them supper short! Jennifer was the only one who took her time and actually tried to make them look nice and my sisters came out amazing! And also the guy would press really hard when he would be shaping my nails.

I had a terrible experience here. They over charged me & left my nails uneven with bumps, I told her the design I wanted 4 times & she didn’t give me what I wanted, then when I told her I didn’t like the work she had done & she told me it’s too late. Absolutely ridiculous!! I will never return.

Didn’t do anything I asked. I had SNS nail polish and they filed it off and clipped my natural nails and put acrylic nails on. I was wanting a fill and cut down for SNS nails. I was disappointed. The guy that did my nails was quick and ruff about getting it done that I flinched multiple times from the electric drill because it got too hot. My acrylic nails aren’t buffed out enough because I keep stabbing/ scratching myself by accident.

Pedicure was only about 30 minuites long. Good massage but only about a minuite on each foot which was disappointing. Man who works there has long nails and it hurt because they dig into your feet when hes doing the pedicure. I liked the way the nails turned out though.

Worst experience ever. Waited an hour for my scheduled appointment. Then was told they couldn’t do what I wanted even though I asked them over the phone before I even made the appointment. Went with a color and they looked horrible. The shape was wrong and looked unprofessional.

Horrible!! A friend and I came to get nails done for wedding, nails took almost 2 hours, nail tech kept running from me, to another customer who was getting pedicure. Our nails turned out half assed and a mess. Overpriced and rude. Went to pay with card, machine was out of order. Asked for discount, was told they would discount $2 off. Will never come back here.

It wasnt even busy and they rushed through my nails. They didnt work my cuticles and the nails they put on doesnt go all the way back to the cuticle leaving a gap, and the nails dont go all the way to the sides of my nail. To top it off theyre crooked and not flat. They angle upwards. Dissatisfied and wont be returning.

Oh my quest to find the perfect nail salon, I did not find it at Solar Nails in South Salem. The staff is not friendly at all, they said they could accommodate our time frame and then pushed us to the very end and did quite frankly a shotty job. They attempted to fix the shotty job and it just made it worse. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Got my eyebrows waxed here and the wax was way too hot and actually burned/scratched the area right below my brow. Its two days later and it still hurts.

Solar nails is a joke. Over charged for mediocre half assed service, while I was ignored and hurt twice because he was not paying attention and watching a basketball game!!!! 35$ for a freakin fill? Id rather go get a new set from a professional for 10$ more. Second time Here I have been very disappointed twice now. You can still see the color I last got... Didnt even under file... A COMPLETE JOKE.

They where really kind but some of my nails are crooked, my nails are bumpy and, polish has bubbles otherwise they are great!

I would not recommend this place. The man by the counter was taking personal calls continuously. The customer service was terrible. I got a set of tips many of which were put on crooked. I will not return to this location for nail service.

Unfortunately I had a poor experience this time. The girl was in such a hurry to get my manicure done that she left sharp edges on some of my nails. She also let the gel polish pool at the tips of my nails so I had lumps of polish and bubbles on most of the nails. She also failed to cap the free edge. A very disappointing experience.

HORRIBLE! I went in for a full set of solars, was given acrylic, I went three days ago, the nails were put on uneven and all different shapes, oh and theyre all lifting! I complained but didnt have time to get them completely fixed due to other errands. Never going back!

Had an appointment, not a single person said anything to me when I arrived. I waited 20 minutes past my appointment and still nothing. The guy in charge was on the phone the entire time ignoring people. Never recommend this place.
