This was the worse haircut that we had to pay $40 for!! I usually cut my husband’s hair and it’s 💯 better than what she did.She saw a picture and didn’t even bother to match, she just cut the sides like it’s something we need a specialist to do!! Didn’t even bother to use scissors to match the hair length as you can see in the picture, then made a big hole on the right side that we don’t know how we can hide it.After 6 month waiting she spent only 10 minutes to ruin the wait. DON’T waste your money for bad hair cut you can get it for free at home

Best hair cut I have ever had. My stylist Casey was very professional and took good care of me. She captured the look I was going for perfectly. Topped off with a shampoo and a neck shave she left me feeling like a trillion dollar bill. I will be going back for her great service. Good to get a cut from somewhere other than supercuts and leave feeling special. Ask for Casey shes awesome.

The place is spotless and all COVID protocols are followed to the letter. I go because Dana is there.She one of the best barbers I have ever had cut my hair.Thank you Dana !

The atmosphere was great as always, the service was great though the woman who gave me a beard trim didnt do a very good job. My jawline got all messed up.

Really nice place that was perfect for me. I work nearby and had to get a cut on my lunch break. Made the appointment over the phone and got right in. Great service and great cut. A little pricey for me, but I got what I paid for. Ill definitely be back.

I gave them a shot because I couldn’t get in to see my normal girl and I had an event that I had to go to. Nice enough place but $40+ for a quick clippers cut wasn’t what I expected, she didn’t even touch the scissors. I understand my hair type is unusual in the suburbs (course curly hair) but there wasn’t too much attention paid to evening it out. The razor on the back of the neck is a nice touch but she stretched out my shirt to where it’s unwearable any longer. Again nice enough people and I’m glad they got me in but I won’t be going back.

Leslie is amazing. We were having a really tough time finding a good barber to do our toddlers hair. He was hating getting his haircut and when we found Leslie it was obvious right away that this was going to work. She’s been cutting his hair now for about a year and he’s no longer scared, he has fun with her, and he always look so handsome! She is so good about making it fun for him and she’s quick and talented and I just love his haircuts!

I either got lucky or perfect timing.... I called and got an appointment 30mins later on a Sunday afternoon...3pm to be exact, during covid-19 panic. They require mask obviously.The cut and wash was great, I needed it after 7 months of hair growth lol

Asked for line up and she made it a big deal. Like we dont do lines ups here. Well your not a barber then.Update: I came back to this barbershop giving it a second chance as its really close to my work and right before Valentines day. I asked the stylist if she has her barbers license she nodded. When I asked to get a lineup she said she couldnt because shes not a barber. I had to jump to a second chair with a different stylist to line me up. Also the first stylist dint know the different between a tapper and a fade. And did not know how to round out my side burns.

Friendly staff, easy to schedule a same day appointment and very nice storefront. Price for basic hair cut was pretty high. Not sure Ill go back when there are so many other options in the area.

After using competitor’s services for some time and being happy with it, I decided to give this place a try. As my first time, I was not disappointed. I was welcomed warmly with an offering of a drink until the stylist was ready. I went in for a haircut and a beard trim and loved the knowledge and proactiveness of Kseniya as to what I wanted and her ability to relate. Very pleased with how it all turned out and ended up buying some beard care products from them as well! I will go again the next time.

Have been getting my haircut with Roosters for 3 years now, and it’s a great cut every time. Sean has been cutting mine since March and does an amazing job, and an all around great dude to kick it with while I’m there. Definitely recommend Sean if you’re looking for a new barber.Shoutout to my boy Kyle who cut my hair for like 2 years and has since gone on to make big moves for his family.

Roosters is 100% the Place to Go!!! I came here after a stressful day and I had an INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. I had seen many great reviews on the place and on the Barber / Stylist named MATT. So I decided to check it out and book MATT for an appointment. Everything that the reviews said were absolutely true! He did an AMAZING job cutting my hair, listening to every aspect of what I wanted for my hair. It was really nice to come to Roosters and be TREATED SO GREATLY! Even though I booked MATT, I inspected the other Barbers / Stylists and all the other many guest that came in. Every single one left with an ABSOLUTELY GREAT hair cut.! I will be back in a month, book MATT again and tell so many about him and Roosters. I 100% recommend you going to Roosters!!!

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Price is a bit higher than a Sport clips, but you get what you pay for. The extra attention and quality is nice and worth it. They have a devoted following and so they book up quickly which leaves little opportunity for walk ins. It takes a bit of planning ahead.

I love this place, Kyle is the best barber I’ve ever had. He is the best Beard Smith I’ve ever used, I always come away from my appointment feeling fresh and handsome and ready to take on whatever comes my way. Thanks Kyle your awesome!

The only place to cut my hair since moving to the area. I just received an email from them for $10 of my next hair cut. That was a very nice surprise!

As mentioned in another review, cut it with the we are a 5 star restaurant and we are too good for first timers act. This is a business and it seems to be running higher than everyone else. All businesses should be welcoming to potential future clients.(i.e. How does booking an appointment for tomorrow or another day sound if no appointments are a available) Im looking for a new biweekly barbershop (old one closed down) so I decided to come in here and it was the most unwelcoming business Ive been in. Very much did not seem like they wanted new business. Will not be giving business to Roosters. Ill keep looking for a barber shop..

Best experience Ive ever had at a barber shop. Great atmosphere and my talented barber, Sean, was extremely meticulous in his work all the way from the high quality haircut to the super relaxing shave and trim. I did not want it to end.

Super friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere temperature is just right, Sean is great takes his time to do everything just right and I am sure the other stylist do the same. I will definitely be back to see Sean.

I love this place, Matt is the only one that I allow the cut my hair, he does a top notch job! Has never got it wrong! My only complaint is that it is pricey.

My hair cutter (I cant say that she was a barber) was not professionally trained as a barber .. The shop is beautiful, this is misleading.

This place is basically an overpriced Great Clips with nice decor. When youre charged $33 for your sons haircut (instead of $23), dont expect anyone there to be able to help you. Apparently the manager is the only one who can fix that, but when hes not in, youre out of luck. This is robbery.

I wanted a nice hair cut. I thought the old adage was true...you get what you pay for. Not true here! They charge for a Cadillac hair cut and you walk out with a Paul Blanco bad credit Hyundai. I had to go home and fix it after having the lady try twice to fade it correctly. If I have to pull out my clippers after, you wont be seeing me or get my referrals ever.

A little expensive but Whitney is amazing, and very talented. If you want a real MANs haircut and not just a hack job like you get a Supercuts or Great Clips, then you must try them out. Sharp single razor neck line trim that will last three times longer then a normal electric trimmer, along with warm shave cream and hot face towel....to top it off they also give you a great head massage while shampooing your hair!

Matt gave me hands down the best haircut I have ever had. Classy atmosphere, quality products, and friendly staff. Will come here again.

My son Milan was scheduled for 5:30 appointment with stylist Alison on Oct 5, 2016, however as we walked in, we were eventually informed that Alison waited for us and left and that Roosters policy is to wait 5-7 min for a customer. We were only 4 minutes late, not even 5 or 7!Another gentleman came in, who was very late at this point, but he was prompted to the chair by a receptionist/stylist that happen to be there waiting for a very late customer, but our stylist decided not to wait only 4 minutes.Im very disappointed how the business was run.

It was just a typical supercuts haircut but the price was about 4 times the amount. Will not be returning. Plenty of other places to go.

Beyond rude! Came in to get my hair cut first time and they asked if I had an appointment, I didnt so I was hit with sorry and then turned around and walked off. Its a Barbershop not a 5 star restaurant. And prices are inflated. Your paying for the view... not the haircut.

Really like this place, used to go to Erika all the time u guess she moved out of state, so Im trying to find a new regular barber. Place is always clean, they have coffee and ice cold drinks witch is always nice.

Went to the new Roosters in Folsom. Amazing, love the décor and the beer while enjoying a wonderful cut. Great service and just a nice relaxing place. A bit pricy but just a great experience.

Pretty good for the area. They give you a little more than you expect but not close to the male salons of LA or NYC, this is NOT the old school barber experience but many steps up from Supercuts, Great Clips and the rest of the 20 dollar fare. The staff is nice and know what they are doing but they do have a few stylists that need a bit more training. Had many cuts here and been great for the most part which is why I continue to come here. Its taken me a minute to figure who is best here but this knowledge guarantees a great cut. One last thing, this placed is always booked, especially on weekends so get to app or call to book an appt or you will not get in. I gave it 4 stars for the lesser skilled stylists and because the experience could still step it up (A full time receptionist, coffee/mocha options, etc) but its been the most consistent in the Roseville area and still a better value than other salons in the area.
