Never had a good experience in several years of being forced to use Read’s since they are the only game in town. Hey never answer the phone. It’s always voicemail and they don’t return calls. They recommend you email but they don’t respond to that either. When you go into the store they are always short staffed and NEVER have the sizes needed and I have two normal size boys. They used to offer a delivery service to the schools (not sure if they still do) but you wouldn’t know it because they don’t tell you about it until you pick up your merchandise. They’d rather you drive 30-40 min to pick up merchandise they didn’t have in the first place. I continue to be disappointed year after year because I have no other option. Pathetic

Great selection-clean store

I am in ready to buy a pair ok shoes was greeted and that’s it. Three employees at the register and after seven minutes of waiting I decided to leave. No one came to see if I needed assistance. You just lost a sale. People wonder why we shop online because of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

The staff is friendly and the prices are about what you would expect to pay but the turn around time on embroidery is ridiculous. Had I known it would take up to 21 business days I would have driven to the uniform store in summerville that has a 2 day embroidery turn around instead

This place is my go to for scrubs from now on! The customer service is exceptional and their selection is great. Dont see your size or color that you need, theyll order it for you. I highly recommend this place!

Stumbled across this best kept secret, Reads Uniforms. First, I was greeted by a really nice gal. After telling her I was browsing. She gave me about half hour and came back and asked if she could help with specifics. Told her petite and narrow cut tops, she showed me several. I purchased one set and when checking out asked if I was affiliated with a hospital or school, and she gave me discount. Plus you get a card to buy 12 pieces and vet one free (top and pants each count as 1 so got 2 points). Great selection, clean store. Ill go back.

Clean store with very friendly staff. And they had enough people working. They helped me find just what I needed and even had my size. Im not very tall or chubby so its usually hard to find clothes that fit. Now I wont have to eat my way into my new scrubs...I can wear them now.

Went in for new nursing uniforms and shoes... Overall they have an awesome selection of uniforms many labels and styles... I was able to get the Dansko shoes that I wanted (several places I called said they would have to order them)... The offer tailoring at a reasonable price... Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their products... Overall a good experience... Also great Christian music playing in the background....

My local go-to place for scrubs. Fantastic selection...and if they dont have it they will order it for you. Fitting rooms are spacious and theres no limit on how many items you can bring in. They always have the latest scrub styles and work with all local organizations/hospitals to match colors. The girls who work there are so sweet.They also carry many other types of uniforms....food and beverage...civil service, etc.

Awesome service! They ordered in the size that I needed and had it there in 2 days. Also have a great selection slip proof of shoes if you work in the hospitality industry. Reads also will order anything in that you cant find in the store with no obligation to buy if the fit is off.

Ordered uniform shirts for my son 3+ weeks ago STILL dont have them and SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW!!! Today READS Representatives were at the school selling shirts during orientation yet my order hasnt come in yet and isnt ready for pick up. How are shirts available for sale yet my order cant be filled?! And the suggestion of course was I could buy today and just have extras Were there any other retailers I would take my business elsewhere HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED

Helpful staff, tons of uniform choices and accessories. Lots of choices in quality footwear and reasonably priced. I only shop there for my uniform needs since they have it all.

Overall decent service. A little pricey and it can sometimes take months to get school uniforms, but the staff is always nice. My daughter got a hole in her dress after wearing it one time and they exchanged it without a problem.

Quick and easy experience. Great display and dressing rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. A breath of fresh air compared to the other school uniform store in the area. It is a crime they are still in business.

Horrible first experience. Ordered my daughters uniforms in July. Now Mid-August being told every item on my order is back ordered until late September. This was informed to me after calling Charleston location every day for a week without having my messages returned.

Bought pair of Dankins, was told several pairs had been returned and that if I was not satisfied I could return, but when tried too was told shoes not able to be returned. Had worn these shoes only twice. Will not shop here again. Have to wonder... why?? if they know this shoe is not credible...why they continue to sell??

Beware! I was at the Charleston store yesterday. My credit card number was taken by staff at this store and used for food and phones purchased a few miles from this location. It was the only place I used my card recently and all purchases were close to the store.

Went to pick up a new pair of scrubs and they have a great selection. They also have reinforced gun belts and other clothing for sport shooting or concealed carry which was a nice find as well.
