I took my car in for a dash warning message and electronic code issues. My appointment was scheduled for Wednesday and I dropped it off Monday night. Tuesday morning they had already run the codes and done a very thorough inspection of the car. They informed me that my brakes also needed to be replaced (which I knew before taking it in) even though that was not part of the reason the car was in for service at all but was a general safety issue which they included in their inspection. The issue the car was in for was in the throttle body which needed to be replaced as well as spark plugs. Tuesday afternoon the service was completed and I was able to get my car back a day before it was even scheduled to be worked on. Great service. Great personnel. Very helpful and informative if you have any questions about what service is recommended or why.

We bought a used car for our high school driver and had Richfield Service look over it. They were honest and recommended necessary services that seemed very in line the age/mileage of the car. Called them for a jeep that would not start. They came right away put it on a flatbed super nice driver. Called a few hrs later with the problem. Fixed the problem did an oil change and had the jeep back the next day. Customer service was fantastic! Did everything they said they would. Super friendly and easy to work with. First time ever taking a vehicle into a shop and Im really impressed. Great company, fast service, and quality work. Dropped the vehicle off the night before, got it back the next day even though extra work was needed. The extra work WAS NOT a scam, they have knowledge of lifted vehicles which other shops do not have.

Had an awesome experience taking my truck in. Shop is in a tucked away corner, off a side road, yet very convenient. I needed a simple tire balance but also asked about a few other fixes. I was not pushed into any sales, nor did I feel like they did any less than a thorough job. Joey was absolute kind and helpful. They got my truck in a bit later than my appt but still managed to have me in/out. Bonus***they offer military discount! Definitely going back for a set of tires in the near future.

Only place I go to for my vehicle repairs, as they are honest, and I have never had a problem.

On our way to Adventure Rock, we had a minor hiccup in which one of my tires stems broke when we went to refill the air. Thankfully, driving over to Richfield with the spare and having them fix the broken tire in an hour and do a quick check of the car was good, fast, and cheap! Highly recommend these guys, extremely friendly and excellent at their work! In a pinch or as a regular!

My family members and I have been using Richfield Service for our car needs for over four years now. I was initially very pleased with their care and the service I received. I even recommended their service to friends and my family members. Sean did not supply a list of what needed to be done or request an approval for work needed. We had to call them and were given an outrageous cost for work to be completed with no delineated list of what needed to be done. No call was made to let us know the work was completed. The tire pressure wasn’t checked and filled during the tire rotation, I would think this would be standard operating procedure. The first incident happened a year ago when they failed to complete the emissions test and didn’t tell us. So the license plate expired. Then a brake job was completed and the lug nuts weren’t tightened. The tires started to shake and the car had to be immediately returned so they could be tightened. Another time an oil change needed to be done and Sean asked if they should change the cabin filter. This was approved, however, we weren’t told there would be a delay as they had to get the cabin filter from NAPA. So after waiting an hour and forty-five minutes and checking-in with Sean, only then we’re we told that they were waiting on the cabin filter. This most recent episode with Sean described at the beginning of this review is the last straw and it’s so disappointing. Good luck if you use them. I hope you can trust what they tell you.

Inspected brakes last year after a dealer said brake work was required. Richfield Svc advised that service was not required at that time. One year later, when actually needed, it was simple and quick to make an appointment. Car was fixed and ready within the time they promised. One of our fleet vehicles needed brakes... Badly!I was able to drop it off early ( before business hours) . I hoped that maybe the guys could at least get a look at it. I was amazed when they told me that it would be done before the days end! I have been surprised by the level of service that Phil, Mark and the gang have provided in the past... We recently moved to the area and I had to get a check engine light fixed before my emissions test. Their quote was in the same range as others Id gotten. They called to tell me they thought they had it fixed, but the light came back on and they would need more time. They gave me a free loaner car and had it fixed by the next day. They had to take the seats out and really dig to find one broken wire that was the cause of the problem. But even with all the extra labor they put in to find the problem, they didnt charge me any more than my original estimate!I went back soon after to get my oil changed and my emissions test done. Super reasonable price and they didnt try to upsell me on anything. Just gave me a heads up for when I need to check on certain things due to the age of my car. They were on time and fast.Theyre professional, knowledgeable, and theyre not out to rip you off. They use text messaging to confirm appointments and check on the quality of your repair, but theyll call you directly to discuss any issues. I thought that was nice and efficient. Their building is in great repair, they have a super nice waiting room, and it smells awesome in there, too! Well definitely be taking our cars there for everything in the future. We feel lucky to have found such a nice car shop so near us.

I love this place so much. Everyone is so nice and WILL NOT rip you off. The guys in the front and the back work so hard to get your car or truck repaired as fast as they can and you even get a free rental car while you are waiting for it. They are awesome and I make sure everytime I come in I bring them treats. They deserve it.

Brought my rig in for wheel bearings did not put dust cover back on front hubs. Did not check air bag pressure. Charged me for alignment which was not done right. Overall had to pay another shop to perform same service. If you want it done right this is not the place to take your vehicle!

When we moved out here to Richfield 11 years ago I was sad to be so far from our previous auto service place in Pewaukee. I was reluctant to try these guys, but got so many recommendations from friends and neighbors that I did. Now, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Professioal, reasonably priced, knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. They also have loaner cars if really needed. I can’t say enough about Richfield Service!

I feel my labor cost was excessive.. I replaced this same part in the past,took about 15 min. Involved 3 small hose clamps removed, remove part and replace. Was charged $107.00 for a$9.00 part...$23.00,shop supplies,for 16 qts.antifree and fish $105.98. With a total of $317.91

Less than effective communication from sales team about work required and associated costs (much less authorizing it). Im sure the actual mechanics doing the work are very capable but the communication from the sales team are sub par and in the shops favor of getting more work out of customers (this is after 2 visits for separate work).A new battery is not required to do diagnostic work (especially if the car starts fine) and charging $302 for the battery and the diagnostic work (which was inconclusive) is unacceptable (work with the customer in a case like this rather than gouging them).EDIT 11/16/18:Received call from owner (Philip) to provided a much better explanation of the work done and situation with the car (good communication). Ultimately elected to stop repairs and was not charged for any work done.

Richfield Service is a great place to take your car or truck for service. I have taken my cars there for some 35 years and have always had excellent results from the great service. The entire staff of mechanics and management are very focused on customer needs. The people are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with easy to understand explanations for questions and about the work that was performed on the cars. I thank Richfield Service for keeping me informed of conditions about the cars that may require attention at some point in the future; these are conditions that I would not necessarily be aware of. Richfield Service is in large part the reason for the extended life of my cars by many years. I have an older 2006 BMW and I cannot take it to the drive through type oil change and lube places and needed an oil change and tire rotation. Purchased tires from another place and needed them mounted. Made an appt and was pleasantly surprised at the level of service and friendliness of the entire staff. When the vehicle was ready the mechanic asked me to hold on for just a few minutes so he could go back out and clean up the white lettering on the tires. Wow. Ive been taking my vehicles to Richfield Service since my father helped me buy my first car in 1989. Weather its new tires, an oil change or just an expert check up, Phil and his people are top natch. I feel good droping the car off and the same way when I pick it up. Dont hesitate another minute. Theyll take terrific care of you and your car.

Brake jobs dont cost $800Since I cannot respond to the owner, I own a Dodge Grand Caravan, not a Bugatti. I asked if Richfield Service would be installing Mopar, they said, no. But aftermarket. I received a quote from the guy who normally does my work and with Mopar parts, the cost to me is $300.Richfield Service, I was going to give you guys a chance for my business until that huge upcharge quote. Parts for the job alone cost $100.I wouldnt argue any further that the quote from your end is justifiable. Its laughable.Furthermore, the lug nuts were damaged when your mechanic inspected the brakes. Why your shop has such a high rating on Google is amazing.

Great service. Price could not be beat

This is a tremendous place to take your car. I found this place when I got into an accident and was towed here. It was a costly repair, as expected, but I liked how I was treated so I kept going back. On one occasion we came to pick my car up, we mentioned the radio in my wifes car had stopped working. It was a blown fuse which they took care of for free.I had a problem with a wheel bearing which they fixed, and when it flared up again a year later they fixed it again completely free under warranty, for both parts and labor.On a routine maintenance visit, they told me a tire was leaking and I needed an oil change. They never tried to sell me on a repair I didnt need, like every other mechanic in the world. I will be a lifelong customer. I look forward to taking my car here because it runs like new when I leave and Im never getting ripped off.

Took a camper in with a bad tire. They replaced 2 tires...rotated the rest.....2 days later found 1 old tire leaking ...took it back...faulty valve stem....only charged for parts.....we will be going back with our other vehicles.

First impression was nice till I got my brand new car back and there was oil on the seat, I asked specifically that they reset my oil trip meter which was not done. A tech came out to reset it, didnt know what he was doing. Called Mark to set things right, brought it right back, got back in car oil was still on seat, and now dash meter is messed up. Had you take it to my dealership for them to fix it. Which took more time out of my day. Was not happy with their response to how it would be fixed if it was not covered under warranty. Even tried walking away to avoid further argument in front of other customers and was chased out to my car. Will not be going back or recommending to other friends or people.

I cant give 5 stars as all i had done was a quick inspection of my AC compressor. No work was really done besides a diagnostic, but the fella who got my car checked in was really professional and nice. So was the tech who looked at the car. I forgot their names.(Im bad with names) They answered my questions in detail, and explained everything clearly.Wasnt thrilled with the news, but my car is an 03, you gotta expect somethings going to be on its way out!I will definitely be going back once i can afford the compressor repair. Very friendly place.

Fixed my car same day! No nonsense, no oversell haggling, just a quick fix from friendly people.

Have a classic car and didnt know where to go with it. So I asked Phil at Richfield Service about it. He came out, looked it over and said he would take it in. Well, several days later they had found a peculiar wiring problem that would only have happened on the 68 Pontiac Firebird, my car. One of their techs remembered that Pontiac was burning out celinoids in 67 so in 68 they ran a lowered powered resister type wire to the celinoid. Sure enough that s what it was. The car now had electronic ignition anyway so they just ran a fuse to the ignition from the fuse box. That solved the problem. I could have gone to a lot of places that would not have figured this out. Thank God for Richfield Service. Their team has me back on the road so I can go to car shows again.

I used this place for about 6 months, got very close with one of the service advisors. I took my truck there and developed a high level of trust with this young gentlemen. I found out last week that he was terminated and they would not give me a reason. I feel like everytime I go there they are just trying to sell me stuff I dont need. I was trying to talk to the Manager Tom about this experience but he was talking to another customer for almost 30 minutes. I tried to get his attention but he deliberately Ignored me. Needless to say I will not be going back, from now on I will be taking my Trucks to Badger Trucks. I also had a very sour experience getting parts. I felt like the Parts Manger Phil, felt like it was my privelage to be able to talk to him, waited almost 6 hours for a response from him. The only way for Richfield Service to move ahead in the trucks department is to replace Tom, and Phil. I would hope from this review that Tom would at least learn to treat every customer with the same attention and not ignore the guy who spent almost 15,000 with the company over 6 months!
