I have work for a lot of different companies in Health Care and before and the difference with this company is the owners really do care about how this company operates and cares for the Participants and the staff. Management is working hard to come up with finding ways to improve the level of care for the participants. I work with a great team of people and it can get frustrating when other employees do not want to do their jobs, but we work together as a team to help each other out.
This is the best company. My son was in services with another company and we just weren’t happy. We met with Home Reach and started services with them a few months ago. I’m happy with his care and he is happy that he has choices about his care. He is independent while still having help when he needs it. It’s a win-win!! I don’t worry about my son anymore. I trust this company with one of my greatest gifts, my son.
Home reach is a great Company to work for they make it their goal to assure that you and the participants are well taken care of, I can honestly say if I had a loved one in need of the care that Home Reach provides I would definitely recommend them before anywhere else. Almost everyone I have met at the company have been great people and hard workers and I absolutely adore all of our clients. Home reach definitely deserves 5 stars.
Probably the worse company in the area. I have watched good workers be terminated and replaced with poor ones that show up sometimes. I have watched clients doing really well take a turn for the worse because their staff who worked with them well were terminated shortly after being given a raise. 3 staff that I know of were fired shortly after given raises. The company tried to convince us to place client in one of their homes after already being told it wasnt the right time. I finally had to inform them they would never be considered a choice when the time was right to place our family member in res hab. The clients are not their priority money is. Sloan should have nothing to do with any client ever. I have seen him role his eyes behind their backs, talk about them badly behind their backs etc. Staff are told to take their clients to all the food banks in the area instead of teaching them to budget their money etc. I understand food banks may need to be used from time to time but part of home reaches job is to teach clients. I have experienced many no show staff and no replacement of any kind. please take your loved ones elsewhere. There are so many other companies out there that are better suited and put clients first. Today one ex worker got a call from a client that home reach hasnt allowed him food for 2 days. He is wheelchair bound in a non accessible unit. He called his old worker to get food.
Home Reach is an amazing Company to work for and they really take the time to make sure Participants get what they need and have the proper care they deserve. Ive worked for Home Reach for a couple of years and they really try and go above and beyond for staff and show how much the appreciate them. The owners are on call 24/7 to help in an emergency and if need be they will go to homes at 2 in the morning to help.
I’ve been working for the company for some time and have to say that it’s a great place to work! I enjoy working with my fellow coworkers and the participants. I love that we get to get out in the community, do activities (such as swimming, bowling, arcades etc.), and have great hours. Highly recommend!
Home Reach is such a great company to work for! The owners are very involved with the staff and the participants. Never have I felt so supported by the owners of a company. They are always a phone call away. They make sure the staff and participants are taken care, and go above and beyond to ensure every one is safe, happy, and healthy.
I absolutely love working for this company! I love my co-workers and the participants.
Home reach is an ok place but been there done that
Love working for them
DO NOT work for this company. They are dishonest in everything they do. They do not take care of their clients and employees like they claim to. I was uncomfortable at a clients house and asked to be removed. After a couple of hours they sent a replacement, which I felt food about and relieved. Then the next week they continued to ignore all my phone calls and texts. After a week of trying to get a hold of them I finally got through and I was told I was suspended for a bunch of false accusations. I was told I was under review and I needed to provide phone logs and documentation to prove my innocence. I sent all evidence clearly proving my innocence in their false accusations and they still continue to ignore me. They have been super defensive and ignorant. This is just another trick they use to push you out. Travis is dishonest in all his dealings do not believe anything he says. This company takes advantage of govt money used for those who need assisted living and abuse their power as a provider. I dont recommend any client or employee to receive their services. I would hate for anyone to have my same experience and my heart goes out to their clients who don’t know any better.
Lack of communication lack of support to help clients lack of training bounce house a lot if you dont work well with the clients get switch and thrown into the wolves with less training than you had at the presence house get paid to act like there parent instead of allowing them too make mistakes and learn from then would rather let the client have a behaviors or disrespect a staff before stepping in loads of problems and stress
Besides, the miscommunication between everyone in the office, and some staff not doing their job, its really nice company to be at. Better then Elite or HAS.
