I visited Seaboard Nails today for the first time. I saw Linda and she was so amazing! She was very gentle and careful with my nails, made sure I was happy with my nail shape, length, and color, and was very sweet! Prices are relatively cheap compared to other Raleigh salons. I will definitely be back!

Linda is nail tech perfection. I get the dip powder on my nails. Linda is always nice and professional and listens to the very particular way I like my nails. I have always had issues with shaping and Linda does them exactly the way I like. The prices are a little steep, and they don’t offer military discount (🙁) but overall they do a good job.

At first everything was going great other than a quick pinch on my big toe with the clippers. I got a pedicure and a manicure. Pedicure was half completed, toes were painted 1/2 way with missed spots, I had to go back and have them fix it, which wasn’t a problem. BUT, I got a manicure and the woman who did my nails dug into my cuticles so far that I have small holes in my fingers and I couldn’t sleep due to the discomfort. Typing this now my finer tips are still so so tender.

I FINALLY found my perfect Nail Salon! Linda was my nail stylist and she did AMAZING!! such a sweet spirit and so talented. I got the dip nail powder full set and it was an amazing experience. I went here a few weeks ago for the first time and got an amazing nail manicure and design service! The ladies were helpful in figuring out what I wanted (ended up with nail tips and SNS powder French ombre) and Kim took her time and did a great job. I will definitely be coming back soon to get these pretty nails filled!

My experience today was HORRIBLE! My nail tech was EVA! I started off with a pedicure and she half did that. Next she did a Full set and as she was going on with the process I kept interrupting her to tell her what I didnt like. Eva just kept talking over me and was saying how she would make it better, so I just kept letting her finish when I should have just walked away then. My overall service was terrible, once I told them how I felt about the service they didnt even care, they didnt offer anything to make me feel better about the situation as a customer. I asked to speak to a manager the manager got on the phone, then back off. The manager did not want to hear anything I was trying to say. I feel that customers are right, and if they arent as a business something should be done to make them feel as such. I do not recommend them at all. Again I do not RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL.

I love this Nail Salon its really clean & nice and the nail technicians are very kind & professional. I always make my appointment with July she does an AMAZING job. Everyone should try this place if you like a Classy atmosphere.❤️🥰

I have been going to Seaboard nails for manicures and pedicures for about three years. I am always happy with the results! All of the staff members are friendly and professional. I also love how quiet this nail spa is. It is a great place to steal an hour of relaxation and pampering for yourself. I’ve continued to visit the nail spa post-COVID 19 and I have been really impressed with the measures they are taking to protect themselves and their customers and keep things clean. This place is consistently wonderful!

The BEST nail salon. I have gone to a few different places and this is by far my favorite. They take their time and my nails last for weeks! I get dip on my natural nails.

First I would like to say that their Covid protocols are very good. They take the necessary safety measures in this nail shop. I am giving a rating of 2 stars because I got a full set and ended up needing 3 repairs upon my revisit for a fill in. Then in one weeks time 4 of my nails came off. Not sure if this is product or technician related. Have not had this occur before with acrylic nails.

When I called to book an appointment I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the woman was who answered the phone, my appointment was even better than my phone call. I had an amazing pedicure, the staff was very friendly, environment was very calming and I loved the music in the background. This is by the best pedicure Ive had in Raleigh.

It’s a nice and clean place, the massage was wonderful; however, the girl that did my manicure and pedicure did not do a good job when it came to polishing. Could see the flaws on the layers of polish she put on my nails; wasn’t consistent. I also had to asked to use the fan to dry my nails otherwise she would have let me walked out with wet nails.A shame bc they had great reviews and they are clean. I was hoping to like them, but I will NOT use their services again. Find a better qualitysalon. Save your time and money

I’ve been coming here for years after feeling frustrated with other nail salons in town that seemed to always rush you in and out. These girls are the best in the business. I typically see Amy, she’s performed manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow waxing for me since 2013. I’ve gotten the chance to receive nail services from most of the staff here and they are all top-notch. I’m never rushed or made to feel like an inconvenience. They treat me like family, and they always go above and beyond for their customers. Its hard to find that in a city! I highly recommend this salon.

Really nice staff! i was a walk in and they were working on my nails ten minutes after. they also offered me something to drink a total of four times, so nice! they also did a really great job on my gel polish w/ manicure. came out to be $30 which i feel is a great price for Raleigh.

The salon itself is nice and seems like a clean place. The prices are a little higher than other nail salons in Raleigh but seemed reasonable enough until we were told that the nail polish we picked out would be $5 extra because it was long lasting. I have never heard of that before. It was not gel polish, it was just regular nail polish that said long-lasting on the bottle. But we said okay and got on with it since we were short on time. The nail tech took her time on my nails and was super apologetic when she made one of my cuticles bleed. She sanitized the area and kept going, which was fine. I wouldnt have had an issue with the extra charge or with my cuticle bleeding and being swollen the next couple of days, if the nail polish did not peel off like a sticker 3 days after the manicure. And I mean the entire nail, not a chip. More than half of my nails were left without polish within the week. Im sure they did not, but it was as if they used a peel off base coat underneath the polish. I had never experienced that before. I would not visit this salon again.

Manager lacks attention to detail. I say I want a fill-in, next thing I know the nail tech is doing a full set. I recommend paying attention to who is doing your nails and what they are doing. Also, their prices seem to change every time I go in there. Overall, I like this place because the quality is typically (not always) good. Just make sure you stay on top of what their doing and how much their charging.

Got a full set of acrylics. She was very nice and listened to all my requests. She was super patient with me since it was my first time getting acrylics and I had lots of questions.The salon was clean and someone greeted me at the door within seconds.I definitely recommend.

I usually schedule appointments but on the times I drop in they always make sure I am taken care of. The space is very nice as well as good prices & excellent service !!!Once you start here I am certain you to will like as much as myself & all my friends and family who all come from N. Raleigh. The nail technician did a great job and my manicure came with a shoulder massage! I feel like it took a very long time but they definitely are thorough and take care with your nails. Beautiful atmosphere.

Excellent customer service from the entire staff! The salon was clean, spacious, and light music was playing in the background. My delux pedicure was very relaxing. I messed up my polish by wearing shoes on this frigid winter day, but they fixed the polish the next day free of charge. This will definitely be my new go-to salon!

Wonderful service and affordable prices. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and didnt have to wait more than 2 minutes for a deluxe pedicure. Almost two weeks later, it still looks great. They offer complimentary beverages too!

My daughter and I visited here 2 weeks ago. This was our first and last time. They charge what they want. They charged extra for our nail lengths without informing us that it would be an extra charge. I have never been charged that by any other nail salon because the nails are not my definition of long. The prices on line and the price they charge are different. I brought that up to the owner and she stated that the prices online are old. I was baffled. I was not pleased with our service a all! Our nails looked awful after 3 days. I didn’t bother going back because I will not step back in that facility.

So me and my husband got here at 5:20pm on 11/8/2020 to get a pedicure before we went out to dinner on our anniversary and they refused us service saying that they close at 5pm. Mind you there sign on the door and online says that they close at 6pm. I am so unhappy and just that they are so unprofessional. I will NEVER go back there again.

I have come multiple times to this facility. Each visit has been progressively worse. I received a much needed pedicure and was laughed at when I unshod my feet. I was embarrassed and endured the treatment. When it came time to pay, I was laughed at for my small tip (Im a young college student and was taken aback that 15% is laughable to them). Sadly it seems that they demand a large tip no matter the service (good, bad, or insulting).The wait time was horrible. Several empty chairs dotted the facility while I sat alone in the waiting area. I was told that my wait would be 30 minutes. It was understaffed and what staff they had was constantly in a horrible disposition.Conclusion: The only nail place worth your time is the Ace Hardware next door.

I come to seaboard balls whenever I can spring for a manicure. Their gel polish always lasts about 2 weeks and my nails/hands look great when I leave.

I cant even explain the horrible experience! I went in for a fill in and needed one nail replaced, soy dssimple enough, the lady was told to make the one new nail look the same as the other 9 nails, you would think this was commend sense, but instead she put on a big, flat, duck bill of a nail on the finger! I was horrified! I asked that she STOP because it was clear she did not know what she was doing! The owner saw the nail and told her what to do to correct it but I just decided to pay for what she did and did not want her to finish anything! Why would I let a non professional finish! They all tried to huddle over me and yell at me! They spoke their language and were very rude and ignorant! Done

I cant say enough good things about this place! First off its beautiful inside, they have an ample amount of stations for mani & pedis so I doubt you have to ever wait long. They are very clean! They put fresh plastic liners in the tubs between visits which I appreciate. The pedicure itself was heavenly, I did the Mango one.. Foot rub, hot towel, scrub, mango butter... It was truly relaxing PLUS a glass of wine! My toes looked so good, when I left I made an appt for 3 weeks, which Ive never done before. Also just a classic pedi is only $30 and they do a fantastic job.

I have been twice and had the same girl. Both times she cut one of fingers. That drill on the finger hurts.The second time I was in a rush to get checked out (I was having to wait until two employees finished their personal conversation). Turns out that they charged me full price and I only got a gel fill. Will get my reimbursement and not come back.

Charge to much for a fill and basic color... I live in Miami and I would never pay $40 and up for a fill and regular polish. Im just home for the holidays and wanted a touch up, but Ill wait or look elsewhere.

Got a gel mani and regular pedi on Thursday evening and by Saturday morning (just over 24 hours) my nails were chipped. I don’t understand why they file nails after they gel is set— doesn’t that disrupt the seal?

This place doesnt even deserve one star! Ive been there a couple times now in hopes that it could get better but based on how I was treated and their service they need to just shut down. To start off their equipment is disgusting, every time they used something on me I had to ask them to clean it. The one time use files were not new for each person or the nail buffers. Not to mention the tub where you soak your feet for a pedicure was not cleaned at all before the lady asked me to put my feet in. I literally watched her drain it from the previous persons water and ask me to put my feet in it. Does the Health Department not notice this?! On one occasion I came with people of color and the way they were looked at and treated, and how long we were made to wait by the staff was Disturbing. It made us feel very uncomfortable and marginalized . That was my last visit there. They are over priced and very stingy when it comes to money. They are owned by a University right across the street but decided to stop giving out their student discount... And for some reason they think its ok to ask someone to pay for their services before theyre even done! Oh and dont even bother making appointments here they will still make you wait 20-30mins before you can actually get your nails done because for them your time is not a priority. This place needs serious help or they could end up upsetting the wrong customer. I suggest new management ASAP.

Just left there and by far worst nail experience I have ever had. I made my appointment and made it very clear I needed the time to be accurate because I was coming on my lunch and made it clear what I wanted when I got there I was told my wait would be 15 min later than my appointment time. When I said I would just leave I was advised a few more min so I waited and then when I sat with the tech I was advised that what I wanted would take 30 min longer than what I was told over the phone as I had made it very clear I was on my lunch break. So I ended up getting just an overlay to my nails that was cut down very short. Not worth $30 at all. Timing accuracy is an obvious issue for them. And then towards the end of my session she stopped and asked me did I mind paying her before she finished when I made the comment she could just paint them clear because I wasnt paying extra for polish being that I was unhappy with the outcome, this bothered me because I watched several people get serviced and pay at the end on their way out the door.

The description below is so far from true. I have been going to Christine the owner for years now. She and Michelle, the two shop owners, are one of a kind. They are hard working and opened their own shop recently. I love the new shop and the service even more. They go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The best mani and pedi I have ever had. The longest lasting mani and pedi as well. Highly recommend. Great local business to support.
