They can barely manage to answer the phone, let alone fix appliances.After the first visit to fix the ice maker on my refrigerator, the very next morning my LED lights started blinking and stopped working, in the same place the technician had to work to fix the ice maker.When I called the next day the promptly said the 2 issues were not related - which I find very hard to believe - and refused to come and check unless a payment of $100 was made for the visit, the cost of the fix would be additional cost.5 minutes after posting my review I got a phone call asking if I still wanted to keep my appointment, they still need to come back and finish the job on my microwave door that has design flaws. This is my 7th visit from Kitchen Aid service in 1 year. I had issues with all my appliances and Im on my 3rd dishwasher after 2 previous leaked and damaged my kitchen floor and subfloor.Ill update after my service appointment next week.After the response I got not only Ill let Kitchen Aid know Ill also post a complaint with BBB. Unprofessional does not even begin to describe your company retaliation for a customer posting a bad review, thats really a great example.

My Speed Queen dryer stopped working and I called Hopkins for the repair. They sent Joe, who was very professional and on time. He was able to diagnose and repair the heating element in minutes. One call and it was fixed. Definitely great service.

I just want to say that Joe is amazing. He came in with an awesome personality and very knowledgeable of how to fix the microwave. Not only did he fix the microwave he gave me tips on how to keep my microwave up and running. He is a huge asset to your company and deserves much kudos.

A technician was sent to my home to troubleshoot my dryer that stopped working. He claimed that no electricity was coming from my receptacle and that I needed to have an electrician to come and fix the issue. A few days later I hired an electrician to check the receptacle and breaker box only for him to discover that the issue was the dryer (not the electricity). Wasted money on hiring an electrician.

From the initial call from Tiffany to schedule our appointment, to the repair completed by Joe, nothing but a 5 star experience. Great communication, they call when they are on the way, and they are extremely professional. Dishwasher is now working great...and I will be calling Tiffany if I need appliance repairs in the future. Thanks again to Tiffany and Joe for great service

Greg was helpful with the diagnosis and placed a special order to Whirlpool for a new freezer door for our side-by-side refrigerator. Joe was our tech and did a great job on the repair. Was friendly, helpful and very detailed during the repair. Great job! Thank You! The office followed up with several appointment reminders and had to reschedule our repair, the morning of, for another day, but in the end not a big deal. Good end result, will use Hopkins again in the future.

Nothing but good words for Hopkins Appliance Service. Thanks for a great job. One year old Speed Queen Tr3 had to have a tub change. Speed Queen supplied the parts and Hopkins installed under warranty! Thanks to all involved, I recommend Hopkins for anyone needing appliance repair.

Weve had good experiences with their techs. Weve had a ticket open with the office about 6 weeks. Because I wrote a bad review here and because I complained that they were taking so long to get us a replacement part, now they wont help us and have left the dishwasher in an unusuable state. Very unprofessional office staff.

Bought a brand new Whirlpool dryer. 3 days after delivery and use, it started making my clothes smell like fish. Called Whirlpool and they hired these guys to take a look. Technician shows up on the day of service (which was almost a week after I called Whirlpool), spends less than 10 minutes in my house, which included him taking the time to take off and put on his boots. Tells me there isn’t anything wrong and the “factory oil just needs to burn off.” Ran it on high heat for 3 hour at his recommendation. Clothes still smell fishy. Call Whirlpool back and they call these guys for the notes. They lie to Whirlpool and say nothing is wrong with the dryer. Now Whirlpool wants to charge me hundreds of dollars to have a different company come out to do the job these guys were too lazy to do the first time.Don’t give these slackers your hard earned money or business!

Had a repair ticket with Whirlpool. Technician showed up when he said he would. Was quick and courteous when he diagnosed the issue. He ordered the part and returned when he said he would. He was quick and courteous with the repair. My dishwasher is running like new. Will happily do business with Hopkins again.

Quality, professional service! Joe, Hopkins Appliance Service Technician, came out three different times to service my new refrigerator problem (2 times to diagnose and 1 time to replace the part) ! Joe entered with a smile, was professional, caring, and proficient. He was thorough and did not rush to finish. Joe ordered a part and returned two weeks later to install it. Again, he took all the time needed and was most careful. He truly cared about “getting it right” and obviously placed the customer first. The best repair service tech around! Ask for Joe!!!

Hopkins Appliance Service were very prompt in returning phone calls and honoring promises! The tech they sent out (Dustin) was very knowledgeable, professional and very punctual; and went the extra mile to accommodate me in his schedule even though the time I asked for was inconvenient for him. He identified and fixed the issue with my washer within a matter of minutes. I highly recommend Dustin and Hopkins Appliance Service!

They took a day-and-a-half to return a call, then told me that although they had done multiple repairs in my home (refrigerator, washer, and dryer), they wouldnt look at a new appliance unless it was a warranty repair. Because they had never serviced my broken dishwasher, they wouldnt come repair it, now. To ice the cake, they wouldnt recommend another repair service. Giving anyone two stars for this treatment is generous.

We waited almost 2 months for them to come replace this faulty part. They call the day of, an hour before arrival to say their tech broke down and couldnt get to us. HOW IS THIS MY PROBLEM!??!? Send another tech to get the part and get out here to make the repair as promised. Talk about lack of professionalism. Wondering if Lowes realizes that this is how their 3rd party vendors operate.

Great service (Bosch Dishwasher 2013 model). Dustin called the morning of my appt. Confirmed time and showed up on time. He was friendly & seemed very knowledgeable. Left the home as clean/orderly as he found it! Best experience EVER with a repair service. I will definitely use Hopkins again.

Lowes warranty sent Hopkins out to repair upright freezer. Technician came out and claimed compressor was bad after visual inspection, and left.Upon actually physically testing compressor myself, found it to be fine. Checked a few other parts and found temperature control switch was bad. Purchased one from Amazon, installed and plugged in freezer. Working just fine now.So several hours of my time, a $27 part, and a week without my freezer. But hey, they apologized and explained how well their technicians follow manufacturers guidelines.Cannot recommend at all.

All three visits were from different employees, and all were extremely professional and proficient. Rack fix was done in a timely manner!! I would recommend them to anyone!!!

We had Hopkins out last week to repair our less then 1 yr old washer. This was the 2nd company whirlpool had sent out, and I wish it was the 1st . Greg the service tech explain everything to us and had it up and running in no time. I will keep there number and pass it along. Great company

We have used Hopkins for many years at this house for 18 and prior in the previous home. Always did reasonable work. They were here most recently about 2 years ago to repair something on our Kitchen Aid built-in refrigerator. Unfortunately, it has an issue again but when we called the place weve supported for two decades they refused to come saying they only work on warranty appliances. I guess thats a business model.

I called about a repair for my Electrolux dishwasher. Was told someone would call back to schedule. No call received 24 hours later, I called again. This time was told they only do warranty work. They could have told me that on the first call. I wasted a day waiting for the only authorized Electrolux repair company in Raleigh. This is very poor customer service

HORRIBLE customer service and appointment was booked via Kitchen Aid corporate. Took the day off of work 5 days later for a 8am-4pm window. By 3:15pm, no one had shown up. Called Hopkins and they said they could not repair my KA ice maker because it was no under warranty and that they dont do cash and carry work. They informed me that Kitchen Aid should have called me and rebooked with a different repair company. When I called Kitchen Aid and told them this, they informed me that they have NO way of calling consumers back. All personal information was given to Hopkins and they would have to be the ones to cancel the appointment, contact me and refer me to another company. Just an example of gross incompetance and unprofessional behavior. Beware!

My brand new dishwasher had an error code/wasnt working properly on Saturday, I called the dishwasher company on Monday at 8am & confirmed an appt on Thursday between 8-5pm with Hopkins Appliance Service. I was told I would get a confirmation call from Hopkins on Thursday for a window of time for my appointment. By Thursday at 3pm I had not heard from Hopkins and I had been waiting since 8am. I was told by a female employee at Hopkins that a confirmation call was made the day before (Wednesday) and Thursday in the AM for my appointment between 10am-12pm. The female employee proceeded to tell me that my appointment time had passed and the serviceman was no longer in my area and the next available appointment wasnt until the following Thursday. #1: I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL ON WEDNESDAY, I DID NOT HAVE A MISSED CALLED & A VOICEMAIL WAS NOT LEFT & #2: I DID NOT HAVE A MISSED CALL OR A VOICEMAIL ON THURSDAY... So I was told that I didnt answer their phones calls even though a call never came through on my phone, but I was also told they do not leave voicemails.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Have had two appointments scheduled for repair from them ....to not come during that time ! Had to reschedule twice. Then asked what day can we schedule so someone can come Before 1. I have obligations to pick up child from School etc. so we schedule that and now at 8am get a call to say we can’t be there u til 1-3 . Really? This is a regular thing with this company ! If you have a free schedule this co may work for you but if you have a life and responsibilities or work they are not your place ! They are not professional. Kim (?) hangs up on me while discussing this issue. Really? Not professional at all. There are other appliance companies so chose anyone but this one !I appreciate the response however, no vulgar language was used I had a group of bible study ladies here that morning and actually had you on speaker phone. So, I can assure you no language was used. Yes, I was aggrevated because repeatedly had appts and no one came during those “scheduled” times! Who wouldn’t be aggrevated to do this repeatedly. Will be there between 11-1 and at no call until 1 to say can’t be there til 3 just one example! But, still no vulgar language. However, our repair is still NOT done. And this is a while since the original post.

The first time they came, they did repair while we were gone (appliance is in garage), and they left no information and were unreachable. The second time they came (freezer broke again) they did not perform the service they promised. Horrible experience with this company!
