Scheduled for a fridge diagnosis 3 weeks ago, finally the technician was scheduled to come out today. Theres no heads up that we should leave the fridge plugged prior to technicians arrival for a proper diagnosis. We are not professional, so we wouldnt know.The technician came by for 5 minutes, told us hell come back at the end of the day and leave the fridge plugged.Once he left, theres no communication no phone call to confirm if hes still coming. I called and texted, no response. If my scheduled slot was booked between 10am to 2pm, I would imagine the allotted time to do my job is at least an hour. So what happened to the rest of the 55 minutes? Should at least show the courtesy to let us know if youre coming back rather than keeping the customer waiting. Not professional... very big disappointment since I chose to go with A&E for their trusted brand recognition in the industry. Very disappointing

This visit was the last of my contractual preventative maintenance annual visits for the washer and dryer I purchased. Each year, I have learned more from the service providers who checked to determine if repairs were needed and who provided cleaning and other preventive maintenance. The price for this service beyond the initial purchase price was well worth the cost. However, I will not renew this annual service. Thanks.

It took 5 trips to repair our dishwasher. The first trip yielded no repair as there was no part on the truck. The second trip - the wrong part was shipped. The third trip did not resolve the issue as another part was needed. The fourth trip replaced the part but the unit still not working. The last trip, Sam did a reset and it began to work. Six weeks, 5 trips $300. All your technicians were polite and easy to communicate with.

Technician was great and did a super job based on the work so far. No complaints with him.Our concerns was the very high price quoted only to be followed with a much lower cost if we purchased a service contract. $50 to clean the coils was very excessive also. We are an older couple and have always trusted Sears but wish we had shopped around and been more patient.

The technician Mark was great. He called beforehand to let us know he was on the way. He knew exactly what the issue with our dryer was and promptly repaired it. Mark was professional and courteous and got the job done. We were so happy with this experience that we signed up for the Sears Appliance Warranty! Highly recommend.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I haven’t had a dryer for a month and they could care less - I have 3 children and 2 adults in my home. I do not live near a laundromat either. I have taken countless time away from work. The first technician did not fix the washer or dryer. He ordered parts for the dryer and nothing for the washer. The tech who came to install that dryer part came and went and the dryer and washer broke again. A third tech came out and said the first tech did not order all the correct parts for the washer and the dryer and proceeded to order the parts. I made a new appointment for install with him for the upcoming Tuesday. He said he’d call prior to ensure parts came in before he came over. The parts were not in yet so we reschedule for the upcoming Saturday for both items. Turns out he made an error and someone came only for the washer was extremely rude and unhelpful. He put the latch on the washer and did nothing to help us with the dryer as he said the work order wasn’t his. Keep in mind that appointment setting was an error on the company’s behalf not mine - he accidentally scheduled the dryer, most important, a week later even though parts were in and we agreed upon the most recent Saturday. The newest and rudest tech left without a word. We later came to find the rude tech took one of the boxes that had one of the two parts for the dryer. The company refuses to expedite anything or help. The phone lines have continued to get disconnected and it’s a pain to get someone on the line in the first place. I’m not sure why the rude tech took a parts box not for his job. I consider that steeling my part and my time. I will never buy from sears again. My house is in shambles, my nerves are shot, and I have no clothes. Thanks Sears.

Technician was great but getting service date was horrific. It took 2 hrs to get someone to address an emergency repair and I was passed from dept. to dept., hung up on once and placed on hold for 45 minutes. 2 hours wasted. I am totally dissatisfied with this Carrier unit and consider it a lemon. It is unacceptable to require service twice a year since 2015. My unit has been nothing but trouble since it was installed and getting service has been awful. You make it impossible to contact a supervisor or Corporate offices with this problem. I have been a Sears customer for over 60 years and am totally disappointed with your company. If future problems arise and I have the same difficulties, further action will be taken before my warranty expires.

The technician would not listen to my concerns nor would he check the part that I thought was broken to see if in fact it was working. He caused us to have to wait 2 more days for our fridge to be fixed instead of getting it fixed that day. It was a terrible experience that he caused.

A repair person showed up on time and replaced 2 parts. He then left saying the ice maker was operating and it wasnt. I called him several times and he was going to call back which he didnt, I called scheduling and they made an appointment for the next day(9/26) between 1 and 5. At about 1:30 Tony called and said he had one more stop and then he would be at my house. At 3:32 i received a text letting me know my appointment had been cancelled with no explanation. I contacted Sears for a new appointment and was rescheduled for 10/15. I called Sears and basically told that it was to bad and that was the best they could do. My first appointment was on 8 /22. Wonderful service !!!

Terrible service. Not only did the service person not show up on the scheduled date, the next day the service tech wanted to come early than I had already discussed I could be home for the service. Then, once at my house, the service tech told me that there is nothing wrong with my dryer thats just the way the dryer works. When I pressed the topic stating that the save energy used to heat up but now does not, he stated that I should just use other settings to dry my clothes. He continue to try and blame it on other things about the dryer and stated there was nothing to be done with my dryer. Getting very frustrated I asked him to leave my house since he would not try to fix my dryer which I purchased the maintenance plan on and have had only for 1 year. Terrible!!!!!

Repairman showed up as scheduled, was courteous and went to work fixing a leak on my washing machine. He found a small puncture on the big rubber ring that seals the door to the machine, replaced it and, as I had warranty, did it all for free. Very happy did not find any major problems, my Kenmore is fairly old for a front loader. Machine looks almost new with the clean rubber gasket that was replaced!

Our built in Kitchenaid oven lost power and stopped working. The kitchenaind/whirpool website said service would not be aavailable for over a week. I was able to get next day service from Sears Appliance Repair. The technician was very knowledgeable and found the problem quickly. Overall we were very happy with the technician. Unfortunately the part he needed was on his van that he had to take in for mechanical repairs and he did not have the part on the loaner van. He called his manager and said that his manager would put us at the start of the next day. While not the technicians fault, he did not arrive to resolve our issue until 5:30pm. The Sears scheduling did not book him the way his manager said it would. He came, he fixed the issue quickly and all was working well. The reason this is a lower rating has nothing to do with our technician. The rate that sears charges is unbelievable high. Material cost for replacement fuses was $21. Total cost ffom Sears was $313. The technician felt bad about the scheduling issue and deducted $50. so we paid $263, which was nice. Next time I may try a local service company as this rate for a $21 repair was crazy. Bottom line - Great Tech, High rates.

My service request with Sears home service was excellent, from calling and scheduling service to Sears and the technician letting me know about what time to expect him at my home. When he arrived he quickly located the problem, and luckily he had the part on his truck, he was finished within an hour of arriving. Machine is working fine.

I had two different repairmen and both were very knowledgeable and professional. I couldnt be happier with the repairs they both did. I had different repairmen because a part had to be ordered which they did and my hoses replaced at my request even though they cleaned out my hoses and thought they would be fine. Just a precaution on my part. I would call Sears again for whatever repairs I need. Very reasonably priced.

If I could give this no stars I would! I purchased my refrigeratorfrom Sears so when the ice maker went out 1 year and 3 days after purchase I thought this would be the best option. Boy was I wrong! It took two weeks to get an appointment which the tech was supposed to show between 1pm and 5pm. The guy showed up at 4:59pm and spent less than 10 minutes in my house. Said he didnt have there right tools and needed to go to Home Depot, which is less than 1 mile from my place with a Lowes right across from it. 2 hours later I am fighting with customer service to find out where this guy is at. He calls my wife and when she asked where has he been he said he is not coming and hung up! Couldnt get a hold of a manager, or anyone who could provide any assistance. Next appointment December 26th...over one month after my initial request. Sears would not help out at all. I cant defend that store or service any more after this experience. Sad way for a once really cool store to go down.

He was courteous, informative in answering questions and very prompt with the repairs needed. He found that the Ice maker had a defect and check out the circuit board and found that the maker needed to be replaced. Dryer went out on Tuesday. I was able to schedule appt on Wednesday. Tech showed up as promised and kept me appraised of his schedule during the day. He was knowledgeable and efficient and had the dryer up and running in an hour. I was particularly pleased he had replacement part on his truck. Good experience. Would definitely call Sears again.

The Jason was wonderful!!!. He had to come back and I had to order the correct piece which would not be back in time for Thanksgiving. Jason worked on the oven to repair the broken piece so I would have my range to cook on for the holiday. An amazing blessing! Thanks Jason.!!!

The repair man showed up on time, gave us a call early to confirm he would be at our home by noon. He quickly diagnosed the problem, which was a water pump failure on our Maytag washer. He replaced it and explained what was done to fix the problem. The gentleman was pleasant and dressed very nicely. He was very professional in our dealings with us and I believe he represented Sears very well.

Service was quick, and good. The primary problem was fixed right away and a secondary problem was diagnosed, however not really fixed.As the secondary problem had been a design flaw with my ice maker, and one Ive known about (and not worried with) for years, that doesnt really bother me.

Our serviceman was very good. Unfortunately our induction range simply did not work as efficiently as when it was new a year ago. It would boil 1 cup of water in 44 seconds. Even with the new part it takes 76 seconds.

Our repairman was very professional and friendly. He did what needed to be done in a timely manner.Only complaint is that I was told he would arrive between 8am and 5pm. I waited all day without a phone call. At 5:15pm I called the office to see what was happening and was told that she would get in touch with the repairman and have him call me back. He called stating that he was still working on a job and would be at our house around 6:15pm.I feel that 8 til 5 is not reasonable and that Sears should work on cutting the time to 8 til 12 and 1 til 5 so the people dont have to waste their whole day waiting for someone to show up.

Tech, Mike, did a great job servicing my riding lawn mover. It ran good after his service and I used for about 15 min. to cut apart of my yard. That was on Thursday and on Tuesday I was cutting the rest of my yard, my mover started missing and shutting off and I couldnt finish. I called and now Im getting a repair service call to see what is wrong with the mover.

We diagnosed our refrigerator problem on you web site. You sent us the appropriate part. The repair person was very cooperative and competent and he installed the part. But your bill for this service was inappropriate. You charged $115 for a problem diagnosis when none was necessary. A fee for the repair visit and a fee for the part should have been the appropriate charge. I will not use your service again.

The repair service did not show up within the four hour window. At the four hour mark I received an email then offering to reschedule. I called and their automated service was unable to locate me as a customer. I was on hold for over a half an hour and unable to speak to a manager.The lack of customer service regarding this issue is gobsmacking. The email they sent in no way holds an apology or an explenation. It literally offered nothing in compensation for my wasted morning other than to waste it even further by calling them. I hung up and am now seeking the assistance of a different repair service.I could not be more disappointed. I will not be purchasing anything from Sears again, as their customer service leaves everything to be desired and their repair service nonexistent.

Repair man showed up as scheduledHe explained to me that the part required, the control panel, was not a stock item. He would have to take it off the treadmill, send it off for repair and come back again to put it back on.Very disappointed that the part was not available.I use the machine almost daily and there is no telling how long it would take to have it repaired, and if it would be repaired properly.Up until now, I have been satisfied with our treadmill warranty work. We bought the first one almost 20 years ago.If this is what warranty work is coming to, well just join the Y and let Sears keep their equipment.

When our six year old Maytag washer broke, I didnt know who to call or who to trust. I prayed that Sears would have their own repairmen and not contractors working for them and looks like they do!The serviceman who came to our house was great! He knew what he wqs doing and was able to diagnosis the problem and fix it right away.Should any of our other appliances break, we will definitely phone Sears again. Its nice to know there is a dependable service out there consumers can trust.

Took 6 weeks to get a technician out to fix my Kenmore Elite fridge. Technician replaced bad circuit board then left without checking anything else. Fridge still doesnt work. Going on 9 weeks now. Based on the lack of concern and response from Sears Service I wouldnt buy another Sears appliance and certainly cant recommend purchasing an full service warranty! What a rip off!!

The worst service I have ever experienced! I called to scheduled to have my lawnmower repaired, the technician came out, identified what my issue was, ordered parts and stated I will get the parts in a few days and I was put on the schedule for 3 weeks out; after the 3 weeks I received an email letting me know that i was scheduled for the next day between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. The tech called me around 10:00 am the next day to let me know he couldnt do the repair because he had not been allotted the amount of time to complete the repair (???). He stated he was only given 25 minutes to do the repair and since it was going to take longer he would to reschedule it for two more weeks out.Two weeks come around and the tech come to the house, drives my lawnmower to my driveway, take the lawnmower apart only to discover he had ordered the wrong part. I had to push my lawnmower to backyard. I had to wait another week and a half for him to come back to finally repair my mower...Never again will I ever use this service! I also have no more interest in ever shopping at Sears after this incident.

The company, Cool Air Mechanical, that Sears outsourced our repair to seemed competent at first. The owner, Gamal, came to our home and after inspecting our ice maker​, determined that we needed an entirely new freezer door to fix our problem. He said he would order it that day and it would take one, two weeks at the most for it to come in and hed call us when the door was in. Fat forward to 3 weeks later and weve received no calls. I called them and was told that it could take a month or more. The lady I spoke with told me she was going to contact Sears and see what the delay was and she would get back in touch with me. Fast forward another week and I had received no calls again. So, I called and amazingly the door had been received the previous day and I was on her list to call and set up a time to install. I made an appointment for the next week. I was told that the technician would arrive approximately around 9:00am...No later than 10:00 am. At 10:00 when no one had come and I had received no calls I once again called them. I was told by Kathy, that my appointment time had been moved from early morning to the afternoon. I was not happy and she said shed look into why it was changed and call me back. After 35 minutes and no call back, I yet again called them. She told me that the owner, Gamal, had changed my appointment time for his convenience. I let her know that no one had called to inform me of this change, that it was unacceptable, and that I wanted to talk to the owner. At that point she became extremely rude with me, got loud with me, refused to give me the owners number or to let him know I wanted to speak with him. Then, she hung up on me and when I called back, wouldnt answer the phone. I had to call Sears and they contacted her and told me she said someone would be at my home around 12:15. Then, Kathy sends me a text telling me it will be between 1-6 when someone arrives..Wow! I found the owners email on the better business bureaus website and I sent him an email. He responded and said my appointment had originally been for the afternoon and he would be there sometime between 4-6.... Unbelievable! I let Sears know that they should not be using this company to outsource their repair services to. I made a formal complaint and I have a case number. My freezer door did finally get replaced that day, but I have never had such poor customer service in my life! I sincerely hope Sears ceases to use this company....their customers deserve better!

After the tech left my wife used the washer and the problem was worse than before.This was after some shocks and springs were replaced.We have another appt. this Thurs. to hopefully correct the problem. Also asked for original tech who diagnosed the problem and ordered parts. He appeared much more efficient and knowledgeable than the one on the 28th.

They were to be at my house between 10 am and 2 pm and we were quoted $80 to check out our Sears oven for a possible temperature setting issue. The service guy showed up at 3:15 pm and after checking out the oven said there was no problem he noticed and said we owed $137 for the visit. After showing him my e-mail from Sears stating the total charge would be $80 for checking out the oven he reluctantly said he would except the $80 for the visit. We will try never to use Sears Appliance Repair again.

When I originally scheduled the service for my Craftsman riding mower, it was online and ten days ahead of when I did it. First issue: the window was 8AM -5PM - ALL DAY. If I had a job I would have had to take off and wait for a serviceperson to do a job that would take less than an hour.Second issue: the day I was scheduled, I waited all day until 3PM and got a call from the serviceman who told me their computers were down and as such could not order any parts, create a bill, etc. but would call me back when they (the computers) came back up. At 5PM he called and said they werre still down but would called me back the next day (a Thursday, two weeks ago.)Im still waiting for his call.

I have never experienced worse customer service. I called for a tech. and the people who took the order said they would have the parts. When the tech arrived they had no parts, charged me 400 and told me they could order the parts but I would be better off fixing it myself or they would probably have to charge me again. They sent the wrong parts, once I returned those they said they would issue credit. I have had to make 5 phone calls and still no credit back on the parts. I spent 100 and ordered the parts online and had them in a day. NEVER, NEVER use Sears Appliance Repair.

The tech on the repair was wonderful. Thankfully he had the correct part on his truck :)The Sears process in general was terrible. I spoke with someone 10 hours ahead of us in time zone. She was friendly and asked all the right questions. Due to the poor scheduling of parts and repair, we were without a fridge for 1 WEEK. I offered to pay out of my own pocket for the parts to be overnighted so that we could have gotten a tech out in 2 days. Sears would not allow that. I asked the tech to be sent out anyway and was told the parts could then not be ordered until after the tech came out. I should have chosen that option because the incorrect parts were the ones shipped and again luckily the tech had the part on his truck. I had a similar situation recently with washer and dryer and poor customer services and install, so we moved all our purchases over to another company. Sorry to hear Sears, but things have really gone downhill in your customer service.

Then technician said it was one or two thingss. He replaced the the thermostat or the electrical panel. He replaced the electrical panal, teste the srove and said it was fixed. I waited 5 days for they repair man to come . I can not wait another five days amd probably it will have a bigger bill., We went out out and bought a new stove. We will mever buy another apppliance from Sears!

Service personel are neat,courteous and knowledgeable, however the appliance they serviced was not easy to diagnose. The first diagnosis found the main pc board to be defective. Parts were ordered and ten days later was installed. I was told it would take up to three days for the freezer to make ice. Wrong. 2nd diagnosis followed many days later and it was determined we had a lazy compressor. A new one has been ordered and thirteen days later we hope to have it installed. Will this work, we hope so. Have been way too long without ouraappliance. Service Plan covers parts and labor, still waiting on food reimbursement,no word from Sears yet. Customer service sucks first contact person was very polite and set up service appointments, was referred to another department to try to expedite service date, person was extremely rude and non caring that we had no refrigerator in 90 degree weather and hung up on us. She should be schooled on her manorisms.SEARS should replace this unit if the compressor replacement doesnt work . So much for SEARS protection plans. They may cover parts and labor if you can wait a very unreasonable length of time between service appointments and parts procurement. Found out parts were not ordered until two days before next service appointment. Had to reschedule service appointment after new parts arrived. New service appointment revealed that parts were wrong. Will have to reorder new parts and start all over with service appointments. Sears should just replace refrigerator/freezer with new one. Will probably be several months before repairs are made.

Got a new Kenmore fridge delivered that only one side worked. the freezer side. it took sears home noservice a week to get a repairman to my house and he did not have the parts on his van to fix. would be another week for him to get back to us with parts.repairmans van so full off Samsung appliance parts you could not even see in the van.dont buy that brand. sears could not get me a replacement fridge for at least two weeks.sears customer service in india could not help us at all.went to home depole and ordered a whirlpool brand 4 cubit ft. larger and 150.00 less and free shipping. it will be delivered on friday this week.so I wont be buying anything from sears again. sears getting this pos back!

Poor. Scheduling tied up my whole day despite the fact that I said in advance I had a mid-afternoon appointment. As a result, when I got home after the repairman had left, I immediately found a problem with the lid closer, requiring another visit and tying up another complete day of my time.
