This is the most disgusting place I have ever had to live. I have contacted management several times about the terrible conditions of my apartment. There are bugs, mice and mold. From the very first day I moved in none of the appliances worked, the plumbing has continued to flood the apartment, paint chipping off the walls, the cabinets are barely hanging on, there is water damage on the ceiling. This place is a piece of work. I have put in so many maintenance orders and they say they did the work but none of the issues get taken care of and then I get charged for the work they did. They shouldnt have allowed those apartments to get rented out to begin with. Honestly this is not a safe place to live. DO NOT MOVE HERE. It might be reasonable rent but its barely a step above homelessness.

Very happy with how speedily and efficiently move-in went. Office staff very helpful and pleasant. Washer not working when we came to finish some paperwork, but new working one was installed by the time the movers arrived.

Had a wonderful experience here. I recently just moved from Michigan and I was interested in many places and this one caught my eye. The prices are very reasonable and the community already seems kind and courteous. I had an associate named Meredith give me my tour. She’s very informative and quick to answer my emails and calls that I’ve made. I’m excited for my stay here.

Called to tell them that the dyer would not turn off automatically. We received a maintence call after 2 days and it was fixed perfectly!

Ive lived here since 2007 so Ive been through several management companies and many neighbors! My building has always been fairly quiet and any maintenance issues are generally taken care of timely. Ive always enjoyed living here.

I have lived here for a year with my Mom. I like it here and so does my Mom. The rent amount is very reasonable and a washer/dryer is included. My Mom and I are trying to save for a house, and we plan to stay here until we have enough saved. Nice apartments. 10/10

Worst place I ever lived!!! There is always trash outside of the dumpsters. There is a roach and mice infestation!!!! The office staff doesnt care all they said was “well my apartment doesnt have them” i have video and pics!! All my neighbors have the same problem! You pay for extermination and they never come! All the drawers in the house broke! Countertops were broke. Ive reported multiple times and nothing has been done!!

I’ve lived at NOL for quite a while, and it has been the best experience. The whole staff here are extremely friendly and very helpful. The apartments are spacious and very reasonably priced. The neighborhood is nice; well taken care of and clean. All around, a wonderful place to live. North oaks landing reviewDo not move here!! My roommate and I leased a 2 bedroom apartment there 6 months ago and moved for work. When we moved in the apartment it was not ready at all, the carpets smelled liked dog piss and weed, the floors were dirty, the dishwasher never worked and never got fixed. There was a HUGE roach and aunt problem. The kitchen counter could be lifted off the cabinets. The staff at the office were never there to answer the phones, the maintenance people didn’t speak English and never came to fix and/or complete work orders. When we moved out they claimed the apartment was left dirty and there were holes in the wall when there wasn’t. Now they are holding half of our deposit and refuse to make things right. They owe us money from our deposit and refuse to contact us about it. Save your money and put it towards an apartment with better reviews and that actually cares about their residents.

I recently moved into North Oaks Landing due to its convenient location. When I stepped into the office the staff was upbeat and professional, and they were more than willing to accommodate my dog (which what was most important to me!). I was happy to see that they had a dog park that I could take him to in the evenings, it is convenient that I do not have to travel to let him stretch his legs. I had a few bugs (no more than what is to be expected when living in a wooded area) and they sent someone out promptly to spray my apartment and I havent seen any since. Overall, I am very satisfied with my choice to live at North Oaks Landing.

They dont care about any issues you are having. You will not feel safe in this neighborhood! Nothing is delivered on time. They charge you an additional fee for trash, and act like its a good deal for valet trash. The cabinets arent installed correctly; neither is the washer and dryer. Everything is backwards. The kitchen is nicely renovated, but the rest of the apartment is in horrible condition. My car was towed, WITH VALID RESIDENTIAL verification. I didnt get a refund. The cops are constantly being called. Ive heard gunshots several times. After only living here for 3 months, I tried to sublease with help from the office... They, of course, werent helpful at all. Im currently working on a lawsuit after someone entered my apartment without notice from the office, or a request for any maintenance. If I could give them anything less than 1 Star, I would. The fact that everyone who post on here is getting the same lame, thank you message should show you just how much they care about resident satisfaction!!! Please dont make the same mistake we made. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

I have lived at north oaks landing for over a year. I have always been well taken care of and never had any really major issues. The neighborhood is quiet and most people stay to themselves. I like it here and plan to stay for awhile.

Do not even think about signing a lease with this apartment complex, they never answer their phones, return miss calls or return emails. Jessica was the only nice thing that came from the stay. They are at a 2.8 review record for a reason, they do not notify you about anything after your lease and will send you to collections when you need not be. My roommate and I are probably going to end up taking them to court over this if things dont get settled, so I repeat DO NOT SIGN THE LEASE WITH NORTH OAKS.

I recently transferred to a one bedroom, so I would not have to have a roommate. The people in the office made it really easy on me. My new apartment is wonderful. The closet is massive!! I have been here for a year, and going on 2 years now. I am happy here, and do not plan to move for awhile. Maintenance men are some really great guys also.I have recommend many friends and family to live here. Overall, Im satisfied!

I have had a great experience with the property manager and the maintenance. It has been a big improvement from my last property. Also the low traffic and quiet surrounding are a good fit for my family

A wonderful place to stay! The rent is one of lowest I have seen in the area and you have so much around as far as shopping,entertainment even food. The young ladies at the office Jessica,Erica and Courtney are always a pleasure to talk to and have always taken care of any needs that have been brought to their attention as fast as they can.Would reccomend anyone I know to live in this wonderful complex if not for the ladies at the office then for the pool!

I have lived here for almost a year and it has been good for the most part. The service that I ask for is always done within a day and the people at the office are always helpful. When I first moved in I had a problem with my neighbors playing music on the weekends and the day after I mentioned it to the girl in the office it stopped. They really seem to care about people living here and it really shows. I will renew my lease for another year. Thank you North Oaks!

I have a family member that has lived here for 1 1/2 years. Nothing seems to get fixed in a timely manner and the appliances are from the 1970s in her apartment. There have been numerous problems with neighbors peeking in her windows and not allowing her to feel safe in this complex. I do not like to go visit because I dont feel safe. She said the pool was closed more than open last summer due to lack of resident respect for the common areas.

Roommate and I just moved here. We did not have any problems and the apartment was huge. We have been hanging at the pool every day, which has been fantastic.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! For what you have to pay in rent the customer service and Maintenance sucks!!! These people care NOTHING about there tenants. Be late on your rent you will here from them but call about a issue or complaint you will get no response! The pool stays over crowded. Too many residents for one small pool. The playground is in poor condition. It has one swing and nothing else for hundreds of kids. The dog park is full of sand and residents dont pick up there dog poop. Drug dealers are out here daily selling drugs in broad day light. Im not even gonna touch on roaches, bugs and bed bugs. I cant wait for my one year lease to be up. This place has been nothing but an awful experience for me and my family!

I have not liked the way this management company treated us when it came time to renew our lease. They took over in the middle of my lease and has been the worst management company I have ever dealt with. They wanted to raise my rent to stay with them by over $200. per month, have me live there while they upgrade my apartment with me living in the same space. When they do come to respond to a maintenance request, it is weeks later and they dont fix the problem, they put a band aid on it and call it fixed. The grounds are trashed, and are not cared for well. They have allowed, in multiple apartments to have too many living in the space provided, such as 6 in a two bedroom. When brought to their attention of this, they do nothing to fix it. Kids run wild with no adult supervision. All in all i would never rent from a place that is managed by this company. I suggest you dont either. This apartment was located in Raleigh, NC. called North Oaks Landing now...Dont live there.

This place has a very attentive group of office employees and management/sales team. I have enjoyed living here and really have no complaints so far. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment in Raleigh.

I recently relocated to NC from out of state and completely fell in love with the charm of North Oaks Landing. The complex is beautifully renovated and has large rooms. The Staff made the transition into my two bedroom apartment extremely stress-free. The location is super convenient to I540 and makes my commute to RTP a breeze.

I just moved here from Lagrange and I love it. The air conditioner didnt work at first but the maintenance men came out and fixed it quick. I think Im in heaven new appliances and big spacious rooms. Im never leaving here lol!

If I could give them negative stars I would. Our apartment flooded twice and the second time we noticed mold. we basically had to move to a renovated apartment and pay a higher rent. The management company kept changing each time they all sucked. The office staff is rude and not helpful. I wouldnt let a dog live in those horrible apartments.

Absolutely worse experience I’ve ever had. Unprofessional, lots of roaches, and took forever to get stuff fixed. House fire that was completely their fault and they showed no remorse or sense of urgency to get it all fixed.

I lived here for two years starting back in 2015. I moved to rent a house with a few roommates. When it was time to move out I couldnt find anywhere that was reasonable in the location I wanted. Im glad I was able to come back here.

I moved in a month ago and it was ideal. I’ve never seen one bug in my place. I had a problem with my garbage disposal but they fixed it the next day. The ladies are very nice in the office and always work with me.

I regret not writing this sooner, but this is my fifth month living at North Oaks Landing and I strongly urge whoever is looking into moving here, dont. I am transfer college student from New York state and this is my seventh month in Raleigh. At first, I liked the location and how close it was to Wake Techs north campus, and the layout of the apartment. Since then, I and several others, have had issues with bugs. Yes, they do the normal quarterly treatment, but there needs to more done. Because of this issue, I had to get away and visit my family in New York state for a week. I was not raised in this kind of environment and it grosses me out! Second, there is too much dangerous activity. There are people smoking weed in the parking lot, in broad daylight!The main reason why I chose to write this review is due to an event that took place this evening (August 21, 2015). I felt threatened when I went outside to see who was burning rubber in the parking lot, when I knew there were children outside. As I started walking, the car came flying by me and almost hit me! Out of instinct, I yelled at the group of men to warn them about the children and they swung the car into a spot, jumped out of the car, and started walking toward me as if they were going to harm me. I have never felt so afraid in my life! So please heed my advice and look for a different place.

I love my apartment! I previously lived in one of the outdated apartments and transferred to a renovated apartment. I love the silver finishings and brown cabinets. My favorite part of my new home is the flooring. I only have carpet in the bedrooms which makes cleaning a breeze. I have a very active 1 year old yorkie and she loves letting loose and running around the dog park. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking to move to the area.

I really do not like living here this place has huge bed bug problems they lie about it rent is to high and not worth what you pay at all it was a very bad move however you live and you learn from your mistakes and im writing this review so hopefully you do not make the same mistakes just look at the reviews and hardly any good reviews and they do not care for your opinions

This place sucks. I just arrived here to help move my sister in and this place has not been helpful at all. Originally my sister was to move into a different apartment but it was not ready and the office moved her to a newly renovated apartment and it still wasnt anything close to ready. My grandmother, the office lady (Jessica), Jessicas friend, and I personally cleaned the apartment since the recently renovated apartment was nothing but a horrendous mess. The rooms has dirty and trash everywhere. As cleaning I found a couple of screws on the floor and I could not find where they came from so I was unsure if I was able to be okay without stepping on anything potentially dangerous and causing me to go to the emergency room. Coming here for the first time was not a pleasant occasion as seeing the apartment at which my sister is to stay I felt as if there is an open invitation to gang-related or criminal activities making me feel unsafe. Also some of the doors in the room where not properly put in and were very difficult to open and close.

I dont normally leave reviews on anything, but after reading all of the really awful reviews about this community I decided to take the time and do so. I just recently moved into north oaks landing a few weeks ago and so far my experience has been great. I am not going to lie, I was somewhat skeptical about moving here BECAUSE of the reviews that I read.BUT I decided to give it a shot because I fell in love with the place when I saw it.Not sure what all these nasty reviews on this north oaks landing complex is about ... Like I said, so far my experience has been great. Love my apartment, it is spacious, updated and modern which is why I fell in love with it. It does lack some amenities but it has your basics and the price is awesome for the location. Pool, great work out equipment, grilling area - which is all I really care about. Other than that I spend most of my time in my apt which is the most important. Application and move in process was quick, and staff was awesome to work with. They are younger people in the office, which I liked because they are upbeat and super awesome to connect and work with. There were a few issues that I had in my apt when I first moved in, including my a/c not working, but I understand everything is not perfect and maintencace got them fixed quickly. The place overall is well kept as well and always looks great which is important to me because I like to have friends over.Overall I am super happy here so far and dont plan on going anywhere soon. Id reccomend north oaks landing to anyone looking to move to a great community in the raleigh area, and I will be recommending the place to many friends and family of mine!

If I could give them zero stars I would. This place doesnt care at all about just general respect for residents or anyone living in the area. Residents play loud music all hours of the day and night, shouting matches loud enough to be heard clearly in the next parking lot over. If you try and call the office about it they dont do a damn thing.

THE MODEL APARTMENT THEY HAVE YOU LOOK AT BECAUSE MOST OF THE TIME THE APARTMENT IS NOT READY LOOKS A LOT BETTER THAN WHAT YOU GET.

For $900 a month North Oaks Landing is a JOKE for the amount of bugs you have living with you! ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES EVERYWHERE. Killed 9 roaches in one night. Its disgusting! Trash scattered everywhere on the ground, dog poop on the walkways. Apartments are renovated which consist of new cabinet doors and vinal flooring. Everything else is from the 70-80s. You can hear everything above beside and below you in these apartments. Pictures show a nice pool which is great when they actually have it opened. Last season it was constantly closed. The gym has broken equipment and is normally trashed as well. Maintenance supervisor drinks ON THE JOB with residents!! He was drunk enough to leave someones apartment key in their front door over night!!! Not a safe place to live at all. Apartments constantly being broken into, cops always riding around. People please save yourself a disaster and DO NOT MOVE HERE. Thankful my lease ends this month!!

There are geese that poop everywhere on the property, right up to your front door. I had an agreement with the manager that because I was allergic to geese and they could not solve this problem for me that they would not make me pay the 2 month rent cancelation fee. We even signed a document that proved the terms. Well the document was not official and did not hold up in housing court. Guy screwed me and made me pay an extra months rent when no one was even living there! Oh lets see I have also seen trucks pull up and throw trash into the woods. People routing thru the dumpsters, and the first day I moved in a neighbor had the cops called on them and there was shouting about someone having a gun and a domestic issue. Yeah I have since moved...DO NOT RENT HERE EVER

They never fixed the fact that it rained through the window and after I reported it, then put it on my credit report after keeping the deposit I will never support such nastiness.

North oaks landing is the worse place to live in raleigh. Just recently finished my lease with them the beginning of the month thank God because the maintenance was horrible i live there for a year and it took them 4 months to fix my shower i hadbto basically call them and complain everyday until their maintenance man came to fix it. At that time the maintenance man was living right under me and he was awful he would argue with his girlfriend at 2,3 or maybe 4 am banging on walls and screaming i complained to the office several times and nothing was done. EVERYONE in the office is unprofessional and rude the neighborhood would be a lot better if it was managed by someone else. The office staff have no clue what they are doing if you ask them a question the answer is always i dont know north oaks landings is the worse

Initially I thought North Oaks was decent especially with the new renovations. I decided after a year that I wanted to move to find something closer to my job. I turned my key in and let the aprtmemt know that my roomate would turn hers in later so that she could do a final walk through. When she arrived they had already changed the locks and would not allow her a walk through to get any left over things. They charged $304.00 for something as small as a hair pin on a sink, saying the carpet was not clean (I rented a shampooer at least every other month as I find carpet unsanitary and bought one for myself), drip pans, to clean the oven, small holes from art work and curtains on the wall and sime cleaning supplies under then kitchen sink. They kept the deposit as well as a pet deposit and did not notify me as I was contacted by collections although they had my number on file. When comfronted they showed no remorse or compassion. I have never had any issues on my rental history and have been renting for years. This was extremely exssesive towards a tenant who paid rent faithfully. There have been several people ask me about this complex and I let them know never to rent from this property. The staff in the office could have easily allowed a tenant to do a walk through instead they changed the locks and charged $304. 00 on top of a deposit and pet deposit. Renters be ware. North Oaks, you reap what you sow.

I hate it here. everytime i walk outside theres kids surrouding my door like 20 of them that be fighting, cussing, ect. Rent is way too high to be getting what im getting. Its always trashy in the yard and there be kids in the dog park. its gotten to the point where i go out my back door just to avoid everybodys drama.

We only moved to this place as a last minute result, I will be even gladder to move! where do I begin...oh we got the upgraded model apartment. only thing they did was put black appliances in the home, paint the cabinets some burgundy color to look like cherry wood, and suppose to be wood floors haaaa some wood vinyl roll out they put down.Then these crippy crawlers aka BIG Tail Waterbug come out of no where when the weather break. they swear its wood bugs. I am from the Southside, I aint never heard of no Wood bugs, them are water bugs that move like lighting!!!You cant even park in front of your building sometimes because a thousand cars that dont belong there, park there, It is a mess. I cannot wait to move from here!

The worst that I rented bad maintenance I do not recommend to anyone I moved very recently and the first month I had sewer problems filled with dirty water and the apt was stinky at 2 months the same story and now Im in the same but Now it is worse, all the apt was flooded with sewage or toilet water and they do not give me the chance to move trash

Unfortunately my experience in these Apartments was not good, an apartment above mine burned, they took us out, I had to go to a hotel, I had nowhere to go, and I did not receive help from them, then they moved me to another apartment and they gave me everything dirty, I have photos of everything, then I better decided to move to another place and then they stole my deposit, saying that I had made some holes in the wall which was false, and for not making problems I left things like that, but God will fix with them the damage they caused me ... I lived 2 years ai and never had problems with anyone, but they did fail me, very badly ... And thats why I dont recommend it

I have been living in these apartments for 3 years, I do not speak English very well but in the office they have helped me a lot in what I have wanted. He is a highly recommended Luger for families, and I am very happy living here and feeling the support of the North Oaks Landing staff. Always with a lot of support, they treat me with respect. I am very happy in all the service, Thank you all.
