I have rented here for over five years. I continue to be very happy to be apart of the Marq at Crabtree. The service is outstanding, The areas are super clean. We have a nice large picnic area . So many of us gather their for wine and popcorn at the fire pit in the evenings. Another bonus the the friends I have made at Marq. Of course the location near Crabtree Valley Mall and the greenway. Come join the fun!
I recently started looking at apartments to moved too, and stopped by here to check it. I went by on a Saturday and was greeted at the door by a very nice staff member named Lauren. She was super help and very detailed about the complex and community. Thanks for you help Lauren.
I lived here for 2 years and had a relatively good experience, but the staffs nickel-and-dime approach to the move out process left a sour taste in my mouth that no number of posts on their community board will replace.Beyond that, it’s a decent apartment for the price i was paying when i moved in. The renewal price they offered, not so much. The facilities are well kept due to a really great facilities staff, but the apartments are rather cheaply made. Numerous times I had to have the facilities staff come fix my flooring because the thin laminate ripped beneath my furniture, and I could always hear my neighbors conversations through my bedroom wall. It’s a relatively safe area and has great access to the greenway, but in recent months there had been multiple vehicle break-ins, just as an FYI.
Love living at The Marq! The front office is extremely courteous and professional and Ive had nothing but a great experience any time Ive reached out to them. The maintenance staff is super friendly and does a fantastic job of keeping interior and exterior of the community clean. Beautiful community to live in and I have always felt really safe!
Ive lived here for nearly three years and have really enjoyed the experience. The leasing staff is professional and attentive. The maintenance staff is possibly the best Ive ever seen. The grounds are kept tidy, interiors are always clean, and maintenance issues are resolved quickly in my experience here. The team also handled hygiene and safety during the pandemic very well.
We have very much enjoyed The Marq at Crabtree! Location is fantastic, and the on-site team (Elizabeth, Alison, Lauren + maintenance staff ) couldnt be more helpful, responsive, or attentive. The amenities are top-notch and very well appointed. The units are large and flow/function easily. We love the proximity to the Greenway + downtown Raleigh and freeway as well.
I am currently a resident at the marq at Crabtree and it’s a wonderful complex I love living here!! They are always extremely polite & professional. The complex is always very clean. And the staff is super friendly! Highly recommend!!!
I have lived here for going on six years. I have always felt safe and I adore my apartment! It’s a good location and it’s clean. The pricing is very reasonable and the staff has always been receptive and professional. I may be moving out of state soon and I’ll be sad to go!
My wife and I lived here for 15 months before purchasing our home. We loved it. The apartment was clean and we enjoyed the luxury vibes. We loved the gym as well; we were in there often. The location is perfect; we could walk to the mall or head downtown in a short drive. If we didnt extend our family, we would be living there forever. Staff was great and helpful too. The only negative, which is mostly all apartments, is the guy living above us. You hear his footsteps :( but overall a great experience and try and choose the top floor if possible :) If not, still worth the stay!
I have lived at the Marq for a year and just renewed my lease. Overall, I enjoy living here and would recommend it to a friend based on the apartment itself. The location is great and the size for what you are paying is also better than most other apartments I looked at in the area. I also enjoy the proximity to the greenway. The people here are very friendly, and many have dogs. Maintenance is very quick and has been very helpful with the few problems we’ve experienced here.I have been frustrated with management and how they managed during the pandemic since they closed amenities extendedly. When they finally opened the amenities, the gym times are extremely limited to office hours when most people are at work, so it makes it difficult to utilize. I know of many other apartments who were able to keep amenities open. They don’t trust the residents to make their own educated decisions regarding risking utilizing the amenities during all hours. They’ve also promised a dog park since before we moved in which we have yet to see any progress towards. There has also been a few instances of car robberies during the night, and I do not know of any measures the apartment has taken to reduce these instances. If the management opened all the amenities back up, the residents would be happier.
We really have enjoyed our time here so far. Close to the greenway, awesome amenities, exceptional maintenance staff. I had a cracked stove top and the maintenance team fixed it right away and were super nice!
I have been living here for a year now and love it ! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Allison and Lauren are always there if we need anything. The building and ground areas are always clean. I plan on living here for a while.
I have lived here for 4 years and love it! The staff is awesome and very attentive to meeting the needs of the residents, and they think of all of the small details so I dont have to. My apartment is a great value for the rent price. Overall, great experience.
Love the Marq at Crabtree! Great location - close to the mall, restaurants, local attractions, and the Greenway. The amenities are easily accessible and fun to use. Definitely recommend.
Updating this review, because this apartment complex with never be a 5 star apartment. Contacting above management this week and will update further with details.Safe yourself and do not rent here. Especially if you haven’t been here years, they don’t care what you have to say or experience. 1star doesn’t even describe what I have been experiencing since we moved here.
I really wanted to love it here but it is just too noisy and walls are paper thin. First when I moved in the person above me had workout machines INSIDE of the apartment which would cause loud bangs and crashes. Staff was responsive and that neighbor ended up moving out but now the people who moved in are just as loud. There is constant running and very loud bangs all times of the night, early morning, even on the weekends. It’s so annoying. Forget it resting on my days off. I can here every conversation of people outside as if they were standing right next to me. For what they charge for rent you wouldn’t think the walls were this thin.
An excellent apartment community! The staff are so welcoming and helpful and the units are modernized and very nice. The amenities are also great and well-maintained! Highly recommend this complex, particularly for young professionals and couples.
I toured the property recently and went with another location due to commute, however I was so impressed with the customer service here that I felt compelled to leave a review. Thank you to the staff at the Marq for answering all of my questions and even following up with me to ensure I had all of the information I needed to make an informed decision.
I had a pleasant experience living here. Things to note:- the pool gets limited sunlight because of the apartments surrounding it on three sides- my building had an elevator, which was nice. not all of the buildings here do- service requests were completed promptly- I got my full deposit back when I moved out
I love living at the Marq. Its a great community and the people are super helpful and respond quickly to maintenance requests and other concerns. I would highly recommend especially based on other places in the same location!
I just went to their apartments recently to tour and signed a lease. So far so good, but I shall update my review in the future to reflect upon my time living there once Ive lived there a few monthsPros:-Allyson(sp?) Was great in answering all my questions efficiently and professionally which is saying a lot considering I ask a ton of questions.- I was able to lock in a good price for a very spacious 1 bedroom compared to many other apts in the area with the flexibility to change units if need be before moving in-l love all the spots to hang out in the courtyards and the amenities looked nice- I liked that they were very covid conscious- Maintenance staff was very friendlyCons:-I guess due to being covid conscious, they dont check their models often so it was a little dirty-The hallways of the building did not have a pleasant odor at all- Their package system does not seem very efficient- Pool was not well kept (bottom was very dirty)- Walls seem thin, I could hear everything in the hallwaysDespite these cons, overall it seemed like a good price for apartment and the proximity to crabtree, north hills and downtown raleigh is nice. Hopefully it will not disappoint
The staff is very friendly. Lauren has been super nice and helpful since I moved in back in 2018.
We was looking for an apartment to move in, and this was our option, but we got a terrible first impression. If you have an appointment with Allison Baryza CANCEL before having a hard time bc she’s not nice at all, she’s always wasting her time on the iPad and that makes it very difficult for her to attend you properly. We tried it TWICE, and the last one she didn’t want to showed us the available apartment (only showed the model) She told us that she was notified of the appointment 10 mins before that we arrived (we scheduled the appointment more than 3 hours before) and for that reason she could not showed us the available apartment at that moment. She only showed us what she wanted. Finally waiting outside the leasing office (even in the rain, she left us there getting us wet) and only gave us a key to make the tour by ourselves. It’s really sad because the apartments look nice, and we thought they were a good option.
I just moved into a two bedroom at the Marq at Crabtree and absolutely love it! All of the ladies in the office are super friendly and helpful, and they made the stressful experience of moving so pleasant. The apartment is beautiful and has huge closets. The washer/dryer included makes things so much easier. The building is cleaned regularly and always super clean. The amenities are awesome and I cannot wait to use the pool when it opens. I would definitely recommend this community.
I’ve lived here for a year and it’s been a great place to live. The apartments and nice and well maintained, the office and maintenance staff are friendly, the amenities are great and I’ve never had any issues. Will be sad to be moving out.
I’ve been here 2 years and regret it, stay far away from this trashy place. They only care about your money! Total disrespect from the office staff and they don’t care about their job. Very poor place
Ive lived at the Marq for almost 2 years now and have loved it, but this past week found a very interesting provision in the lease, they can tow any car for any reason they see fit, without notice, even though they require you to register said cars in their online portal.I would avoid this location if you travel for business, as I do, because of this provision as you may find yourself with hundreds to thousands of dollars in towing fees, while out of town, without even receiving a phone call from the office staff notifying you of any issues.Outside of that issue, I find the Marq to be a very safe location due to electronic locks on buildings, and very comfortable due to the many amenities they offer.
Best apartment Ive ever lived in, the office, maintenance, people and amenities are great!
My apartment is absolutely stunning! My furniture looks fabulous in every room. The resident events are great, the clubhouse is fabulous and the fitness center has everything you need and then some. The Marq at Crabtree is the place to be. I plan on living here for many many years! The staff is great and so are the residents. Already I feel like everyone is family😊
I was going to rent a one bedroom apartment but I didn’t care for one of staff. They were not very nice and every time I went to the office I got a very cold reception!!!!!! They also told me to come by the office and put my name on a waiting list but when I got there they wanted 250.00$ deposit non refundable and they said they didn’t foresee anything coming available. Why didn’t they tell me this on the phone?????? It got to the point where I really hated to bother them because they were not nice at all.
I have lived here a little over four months. Apartment floor plans are spacious and the location is great. Only giving 4/5 stars because their package system is not very good. I have lived at previous communities where you received an email from the office when your package had arrived. Maintenance always comes within 24 hours(and sometimes within 2-3 hours after I’ve submitted the request) and fixed any issues I had. Leasing Staff is friendly and always answers any questions I have when I swing by the office.UPDATE: I have lived here since August and have had a very positive experience. Although I was worried about the construction, noise has not been an issue and I live in the building that faces the site. They have a lot of events that can appeal to a variety of people such as: yoga, food truck Thursday’s, and paint night to name a few.I have noticed that I have not heard a single sound coming from my neighbors(this was an issue for me in previous communities) and I am very grateful to have walls that are not paper thin. This apartment community makes the slightly longer commute to work totally worth it!
I am not one to leave reviews especially bad ones. However I have nothing good to say about these apartments, as a fellow renter save yourself a headache and avoid them. Good luck apartment hunting!
My husband and I have been living here for almost two years and we can honestly say that its home for us. We lived in their studio apartment and one-bedroom apartment and both fit our needs. The property is always clean. The community is always quiet and leasing office staff is always friendly and welcoming. The only complaint that we have is that there is no dog park, but there is a walking trail right across the street.
Just re-edited my rating since my old partner gave the stars a while ago
This review is long overdue but well deserved. We moved into this property in October 2019 and have loved it. When I had to drive down from out of state for an interview DAYS before our scheduled move-in date, they were flexible and allowed us to move in earlier on a Sunday (when the leasing office is closed). Special thanks to Lauren Bray and the gentleman whose name escapes me (I believe starts with a D, I think he’s the property manager on-site?) for making it happen. We love the amenities, although they’re closed for our own safety, and the units are spacious and updated. You can’t get a better deal in this area for the quality! The landscaping is beautiful and well-maintained, and all the staff are friendly. HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY ENZO! Enzo is one of the maintenance men, and his birthday is on Sunday! There is a great community feel. We left Christmas presents in the parking lot and drove 6 hours to visit family, but when we got back one of our neighbors made sure we got them back. I never feel unsafe walking our dog. We’re located right on the greenway, right next to Crabtree Valley Mall, right off of Glenwood and 440. I never have any issues with parking, and maintenance issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.I have worked in property management, and I know it’s not an easy job, but CWS Apartments has gone above and beyond for its residents, especially during the COVID-19 crisis. They have waived amenity fees, provided gift cards, offered virtual events, booked food trucks, communicated efficiently, and I know for a fact that they have been incredibly diligent cleaning since I work from home and see the hardworking staff do so!Thank you to Marq and Crabtree / CWS Apartments for all you do for us. I’m proud to call this our home.
Wonderful community with great amenities and neighbors! The best part is the dog park! Having the opportunity to let my dog run off leash with the other neighborhood dogs right outside of the building is a HUGE perk. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Favorite apartment community so far!
Marq at Crabtree is the best apartment complex I have EVER lived in. The neighbors are friendly, the apartment layouts are fantastic (floor to ceiling windows with laminate throughout) and the location is perfect. Your close enough to everything but your far enough way to not feel like your in everything! I cant speak highly enough about the office team and maintenance crew, everyone is always helpful and nice and every maintenance request is completed within 24 hours. Nothing but good things to say about this place! You should rent here.
I recently moved in and I love this apartment! Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
We moved in to our Solis Crabtree apartment immediately after the complex opened (July 2nd, 2014). The events leading up to our move in began with our leasing consultant Megan Dominic. It is truly difficult to express our satisfaction with the level of service provided thus far. From the beginning, Megan was warm, welcoming, and genuinely concerned with finding us a home that would be the best fit for our needs. We relocated from another new complex in the area and had a less-than-desirable experience, so you can imagine our level of concern when choosing another new apartment. Megan quickly addressed our concerns in every way possible. Our correspondence with Megan via email, phone and in person was pleasant, efficient, and handled with genuine care. We also had a difficult time choosing a floor plan and Megan was very patient and more than willing to help us through the process. The amenities, service and professionalism provided by Solis is unrivaled in the area and is very refreshing given our past experiences. After moving in to our new apartment, we did have some maintenance requests, as is certainly expected with new construction. Megan and the maintenance team were very prompt in getting everything resolved for us.The Solis Crabtree leasing staff is, in our opinion, the perfect management team as they are all courteous, efficient, and have a passion to help make Solis a wonderful home for its residents. Our experience has been wonderful from the start and has been consistent since. These experiences and the exceptional service is what makes Solis truly feel like home.
Ive lived at 4 different apartment complexes and Marq at Crabtree is by far my best experience. Despite what a couple of bad reviews say, Ive always had pleasant experiences with the staff. They have been nothing but friendly. Also, most of the residents are very friendly too. Great location, beautiful apartments, friendly staff and excellent amenities.
Sorry. Changed to 4 stars. Did not mean 3 stars. Its a beautiful complex. Safe, green, pool, BBQ, wonderful club room. Great maintenance.Events havent been as many as in the past.
My experience was very poor, I feel they nickel and dime you, I was very nicely told, you will be taken to collections if you do not agree with the charges and if you express any dissatisfaction with the way they handle things and the customer service, I was told sorry we do not live up to your standards of customer service. The experience is an indifferent response for everything with a nice tone.RESPONSE:Fees should not have been NSF on your end, that is inaccurate! Its very unprofessional to post private information regarding applications. I do not recommend The Marq apartments or its staff. I do recommend Leigh House Community!
Ive lived here for a year and I have nothing but good things to say. Its quiet, friendly, maintenance is quick, amenities are awesome, and staff is great. All I wish is that there was a place to wash my car. Highly recommended.
Great location with at a reasonable price. The apartments are very safe with the addition of Key fob that is needed to enter the buildings. The managements does a good job entertaining the residents with food trucks and catered meals regularly.
Since the change from Solis at Crabtree to Marq at Crabtree my experience has been the far from pleasant. The new staff isnt quite the same as the old staff. The events have decreased and they have lost several of my personal packages that have delivered from mail carriers. When asked about it, only explanation that is given is we are not responsible. I must say the old staff was a lot more engaged and care a lot more about the way they represented the company. All in all, The apartments is beautiful, but your complex is only as good as the staff.
It is a great community of young professionals. Everybody is friendly and the staff is welcoming and very helpful especially the maintenance techs. Within ten minutes of downtown and north hills. Would highly recommend living here.
Looks nice but you quickly notice how cheap the cabinets and flooring walls etc look. I was originally locked in for a 3 month rent free rate and $500 off upon signing my lease. Then I never received a call back and when I came to move another company took over... I was not given anything promised and since it was a different company they would not honor what I had originally signed for. I also was promised a lower rate along with a One bedroom but instead got put in a studio box with enough room to smell your own fart and maybe two cats could fit. The staff had to have been hired by section 8 housing literal animals. The club room always being filled with these loud obnoxious families of some kind spanish men or something I do remember a big obnoxious muscular bald man was the only thing pleasing to look at when they were their disrupting the entire neighborhood. Taking up the grills or the pool which is a legit joke. I have NEVER seen a pool so small in my life lol. The hallways smelled like piss. Other than that you might see a cute guy from time time or a weird woman walking her cat...not luxury to me and not great customer care. On a positive note I am surprised they are still open:)
If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! We’re on a 2 bedroom on the 5th floor and our view is great! Apartments are very modern and spacious. Nick and Lindsay are the best! They’re always so nice and sweet; specially to our 8 month old Noah. Nick was our leasing agent and he made the process so easy, and always had the best attitude. My husband and I went back and forth a lot on what apartment to rent and had a million questions and nick was so helpful and PATIENT (because lord I even annoyed myself sometimes lol) definitely a true professional! Lindsay (the manager) is always present (which I love), and honestly cares about the residents. She knows everyone by name, and is always on top of every little detail. Community is always clean, and is beautiful! My family loves visiting because they say it’s like coming to hotel. Mall is probably a 5 minute walk. I can actually see it from my bedroom window, that’s how close it is. Every month they have different events here. Yoga, pizza parties, paint parties, food trucks, it’s seriously great! We love living here.
I moved into a one bedroom apt at the end of May. So far it has mostly been a great experience. The pool was drained when I moved in bc someone broke glass at the pool, requiring it to be drained and refilled. Needless to say, the kick off to Summer was less than exciting due to this. This evening 7/3/19 I attempted to grill with company. The 2 gas grills near the pool are inoperable and the 2 gas grills in the Middle common area are inoperable. Tomorrow is the 4th of July. It’s looking like Summer holidays may not be so special here...but everything else is nice...so far.
Ive been living at The Marq at Crabtree since September 2017. I love my apartment and this community. I feel safe and I enjoy living in a neighborhood that is clean, well maintained, and where I feel my neighbors care. Here are a few of my favorite things:1. The floor-to-ceiling windows in my living room and the beautiful sunset in the evening. I also enjoy watching thunderstorms from these same windows.2. Modern finishes (plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, granite counters, subway tile backsplash).3. Monthly Paint Night with Jim the artist.4. Free Yoga classes every Tuesday night.5. Food Trucks on Thursday.6. The clubhouse! Ive hosted a graduation party for my niece & nephew here as well as Christmas dinner. The space is perfect for entertaining, its open 24/7 and theres never a fee to use the space.7. The controlled access buildings & interior corridors. One cannot access the buildings & hallways without a key fob and only the residents of that specific building have access. This adds an unparalleled feeling of safety when I come home with my hands full of groceries and kids. With the hallways constantly well lit, clean, temperature controlled, and closed off to everyone except the residents who live in it, I never feel nervous going inside late at night.Disclosure: I do work in the leasing office and Ive been the Community Director here for 2 years but that is not why I am writing this review. Im writing this as a rent paying resident and not as an employee. My children and I have made this our home and have enjoyed our time here. Well be moving soon but only because our family is growing and we now need 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms are the maximum # of rooms here). Our departure will be bittersweet.
I love living at The Marq. I love the granite countertops in the kitchen and bath, non-carpeted flooring in Living and Dining areas, the balcony, the view, walk in closets, stainless steel appliances, spacious kitchen, large bedrooms and large windows. The office and maintenance staff are very nice and they plan fun things for us to do often. They are very pet friendly. Its also close to everything.
I moved here in April of 2015. There were a bunch of events the first few months I got there including food trucks, live music, and a shuttle to and from Raleigh Beer Garden. The staff was quick to answer to maintenance requests and general questions. The complex itself is mostly solid. The staircases are unadorned, scuffed up cement while the hallways (this place is like a hotel) are nicely carpeted with lights that come on when motion is detected, which I love. The clubhouse is very nice. Theres always music playing, several flat screen televisions, plenty of couches, chairs, and a billiards table. The gym is also very nice and well equipped. Outside theres a (also very nice) grilling area with a horizontal fire pit for roasting marshmallows as well as a saltwater swimming pool.I also love the location. Right down the road from 440 and Glenwood Ave and walking distance from the mall (I can literally walk across the street to get there).Overall, the apartments are great (and pricy). Lots of friendly dog walkers.
Update 2020: things have got back to normal thank to all property staff!I have lived here for 1,5 years, and I really loved it. Managers are friendly and nice and always willing to help you out. But recently I started noticing that it gets dirty around the area and there is no complain about maintenance guys, they do their job perfectly, I guess it’s because of people who started moving in in the past few months. Also some ppl think they are better than others and can allow themselves to break the rules like bringing glass to the pool, break it and make the rest of the residents suffering during the extremely hot weather without the possibility to chill in the pool since it’s closed for unknown time. Ppl want to live in better conditions but bring with them their ignorance and bad manners.Besides that, it became pretty common to see kids fooling around in the gym and disturbing you from your work out.
Out of all of the years I have live in apartments, this is by far one of the best experiences Ive ever had. Not only are the apartments gorgeous, but the office staff truly makes you feel at home.
My girlfriend and I have lived here for almost a year. It is wonderful, Nick (at the leasing office) is very helpful and always smiling. The only reasons that I gave 4 stars are for the lack of a dog park as well as the package system. I have seen other apartment complexes with secure rooms for packages. Right now it is on the leasing office to collect packages from UPS or Fedex and if you get home from work later then the office is open then there is no way to get your package. I also wish the dog park issue was fixed, I know it is not their fault but it is an inconvenience to see so many dogs and not have place for them to go.Again these are minor issues and overall our life here has been amazing. It is close to everything but doesnt feel like it is squished in with the other complexes. Great place!
I have lived at the Marq for two years. My truck has been broken into twice in the last three months. Five other vehicles were broken into around Christmas 2017 in the Marq parking lot. Window smashed in each one which we had to pay to fix out of pocket and some items stolen. I requested they consider putting cameras up and a sign stating the parking lot is under surveillance as a deterrent. The management teams only response is that my lease clearly states they are not responsible for damage or theft in the parking lot.I no longer have confidence that this is a safe community. Also, the dog park was closed more than a year ago and we were promised that amenity would be replaced with another dog park but has not happened.Unless the security issue is addressed, I will sadly be looking elsewhere at the end of my lease.
Not luxurious as advertised but certainly nice. Noisy on the first floor due to parking lots. Prompt in responding to work requests. Nice events if you are new in town and want to make contacts.
Ive lived in many apartment communities for many years from some of the largest property management firms in the nation including Archstone, AvalonBay, and Simpson property group and the Marq at Crabtree has been the best by far. The Marq at Crabtree has a very professional, friendly staff in a neat and clean community that makes living here stress free.
I love living at The Marq. The apartments are beautiful and well maintained. The maintenance staff is friendly and prompt. Its in a great, central location with easy access to a variety of shopping, nightlife and other activities.
We moved here since October 2015 and we found an excellent community where people is friendly and the spaces are comfortable. This is a place to be relaxed and to enjoy the facilities.
DO NOT RENT HERE it make look pretty and amazing but everything is cheap including the office staff. Fist off I have been here for 2 1/2 years. I first moved in when it was Solis and bell apartment living owned it. Great pricing amazing staff had nothing negative to say about it. Once CWS apartments took over during the middle of our lease. They broke the lease contract we were supposed to be moving out in May 2017 and now were leaving December 3rd 2016. They are more concerned about making money here then keeping residence that actually pay the rent and are great residents. Section 8 has moved in some parts of the property. We had been here for 2 1/2 years and they wanted to raise our rent $150. Could not budge because there was more occupancy. I can understand that but when you have resident that Ive been here for 2 1/2 years and paid the rent you should want to keep them here. We were paying $1225 and they wanted to raise it up to almost $1350. Which we could have gotten something downtown for that price. Let me tell you about the dishwasher it broke four times and still is not fixed so we just gave up. The floors constantly peel up and stick to your foot so when you come to look at this place dont think the floors are so pretty. We have had multiple cabinets fall off the face of the drawers in the cabinets are really really bad so dont think theyre pretty either. If were paying 1350 a month I dont think our floor should peel up and stick to our foot. And if you have a complaint dont even try calling CWS corporate because they didnt do anything for us. The office people lie to you tell you that the grill and fireplace outside on the grounds is working and theyre not theres only one grill working out of 4 at the moment. It is just not what you expect to pay 1350 for a one bedroom and 1850 for a 2 bedroom its not worth the money go somewhere else close by because you will not be treated like this is your home you will get treated like an inconvenience anytime you go down to the office even to get a package.
Spacious and bright apartments! Happy to be here! Great staff as well!
Just moved from Indiana to North Carolina in February and moved into these apartments in April. I love it here. The mall is right across the street, 440 is two minutes down the road and the privacy is awesome. All the other apartments Ive lived at you had to pay rent by money order, which is a hassle. But here you just pay online quick and easy. They even have valley trash so no more walking across the property to throw your trash away! I love it here and will continue to renew my lease for as long as I stay in North Carolina!
I WAS GOING TO GO RENT ONE OF THEIR APARTMENTS, BUT AFTER READING SEVERAL REVIEWS OF CURRENT RESIDENTS COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR STAFF BEING RUDE, I BELIEVE THE CUSTOMERS, SO I WILL NOT BE RENTING HERE. THERE IS NOTHING WORSE, THEN HAVING A RUDE MANAGEMENT STAFF IN YOUR TIMES OF NEED IN THE PLACE YOU LIVE!!! I HAVE BEEN IN THAT POSITION BEFORE, AND IT IS NOT A GOOD FEELING, MAKES YOU FEEL UNSAFE, AND UNAPPRECIATED. WHEN THEY GET RID, OF THE RUDE STAFF THAT THEY ARE EMPLOYING, THEN I WILL TAKE THEM SERIOUS, BUT UNTIL THEN ITS A NO FROM ME.
Lindsay is the best. Make sure you tour with her. Awesome attitude.
Lived here for 2 years- Moved to the Triangle from NY to start a new job in RTP without knowing the area very well...After touring over 12 apartment complexes in Durham and Raleigh, the Marq simply had the BEST value and location.Other places were dated and/had Commuity watch signs or reviews about crime in the complex...The Marq apartments are new and beautiful and extremely SAFE. You can only access the building with a key fob. While this means if you are having guests you will need to go outside to let them in, overall its worth it for the safety. They have VALET trash too which is very convenient. The only reason Im moving is because my husband and I are buying a house. I have loved the apartment so much I often thought that if I could BUY it, I would. My unit is ~1200 sq feet - 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the top 5th floor of the main building. It has gorgeous FLOOR-TO-CEILING WINDOWS and granite countertops. The lovely view on the deck is of the saltwater pool. Gosh, its like living at a RESORT!!The 2 walk-in closets are so HUGE, I put a twin bed in one of them that jack-and-jills with the bathroom and have actually had extra guests stay in there! If I want to go to the gym, all I need to do is take the elevator downstairs. The gym, by the way, is more than adequate- with LOTS of useful equipment. The complex is always clean and they are dog friendly. We have a dog and they have a treat station that he loves going to after a walk.Speaking of walks- talk about LOCATION! You can super easily walk to the Greenway for a nice run or walk with your dog. Want to take a leisurely bike ride? No problem! The Marq has free bikes you can borrow. You can also walk to the Crabtree mall! And if you want to enjoy downtown Raleigh, you are only a 15 minute drive or an affordable Uber ride away. Uber to the airport is also very affordable from this location. My commute to RTP is very manageable as well!Being on the top floor, we have had ZERO issues with noise. Its super quiet in our unit!!When I tell others what I pay for rent they cant believe it. When we have friends over they are always so impressed with the apartment! You also get amenities such as free coffee/espresso bar in the gorgeously decorated lounge area, business center with free printing, and maintenance that will respond to your requests and concerns at LIGHTING speed!!So what are you waiting for?! If you are wondering about where to live, The Marq at Crabtree is THE PLACE to BE!If you are looking for one of the best units in the complex, ask the leasing office about our apartment - 524 in building 3! It will be available in June!
Moved here in January and absolutely love it. Leasing staff is incredibly nice and the apartments are amazing!
My 6 year and I have been here since August 2017. Although, I loved where I was before, I cant complain about my decision. I just love it here. The staff is great. Our process has been seamless. If I need anything, they are here, before I can hang up the phone (not literally, but pretty close to it). Its worth every penny. I feel safe. And although its full of young professionals, there are a nice mixture of friendly and inviting folks here, of all age groups. Now there arent that many children here; however, its okay. Therere enough fur babies to keep the few 2 legged babies occupied! And my floor plan is EVERYTHANG! Everyone that Ive invited her thus far, believes that I moved here with the decor, when actually I created my own environment. Marq at Crabtree that just gave me an exquisite back drop to make MINE!I love the trails; the proximity to malls door step. I can walk everywhere I need, without starting my car. My kid just loves it! Its awesome! Come and bring some more 2 legged babies to play with mine! LOL
Staff is completely unprofessional. Apartments are nice but not nice enough for what they charge.
Lived here for roughly a year and love it so far. Great location and amenities.
Staff is unhelpful and rude. Apartments are way overpriced for the poor quality. Building is falling apart. Dont live in this dump.
My husband and I moved here around Thanksgiving of 2015 when the complex was under Bell Apartment Living management. In 2016, the management switched over to CWS Apartment Homes. We lived in a 1 bedroom apartment before deciding to move to a 2 bedroom as we needed more space. Ill start with the pros - there are many! Pros: The apartments are very modern and have a polished look to them. There are granite countertops, stainless steel appliances (GE), tile on the bathroom floor and shower area, roomy walk in closets, and adequate lighting for the living room and bedrooms. If there is ever a maintainence issue you have, simply fill out a request form on the resident portal and a maintenance worker will be there to assess and fix the issue in a short time frame. The community areas (clubroom, gym, pool) also have a modern, polished look to them and are cleaned on a regular basis. The clubroom as well as the gym is large and roomy, whereas the pool is somehwhat on the smaller end, however, is still very nice. Want some coffee before you start your day? The clubroom has a Starbucks coffee machine which is not suprisingly a big hit with residents and the coffee is outstanding. The location also cant be beat, with a trail nearby to go for walks, bike rides, or runs, the Crabteee mall in walking distance, and I-40 nearby. Cons: Resident events are limited. They used to occur on a frequent basis under the former management, but now, events are more of a rarity leaving some residents feeling shorted. We have all this great space, why not make more use of it? The walls are thin, we can hear our upstairs neighbors walking around their apartment frequently. Overall, the pros definitely overrule the cons and I would argue this is one of the nicest apartment complexes within the Raleigh area.
