I’ve lived here for over a year now and really like it. Other apartments I’ve lived in just felt like a couple of boxes put together. They didn’t feel like a home. The unit I’m renting at Bexley at Brier Creek has much more of a “home” feel. Good amount of natural light, tile bathroom floors and entry, decent amount of kitchen cabinet space (but not a ton of cabinet space - might have to get creative if you have a lot of kitchenware), clean facilities, package area for deliveries, nice pool and workout area, inviting outdoor commons area with 2 TVs, grills, tables, and a fireplace. Can’t beat the location. Everything I need is pretty much a mile or less away. Maintenance and office staff have always been helpful and courteous. I really like the fenced in area for my dog and the attached garage (both extras, but both worth it). Overall, I think it’s a really good place to live. Only downside I can think of is the walls are a little thin, so the heat/AC runs a lot during really cold/hot days. And if your neighbor happens to be a cabinet-slammer like mine, you’re going to hear it.
Best experience of moving into an apartment after living in my own house for several years. The environment at Bexley is very peaceful and refreshing!
I enjoyed living here and will miss it. Other reviews highlight a lot of the same experiences Ive had so I wont write it all again. I was very impressed with the turnaround on maintenance requests and the maintenance team in general. The biggest con for me was probably how energy inefficient our unit seemed to be. Very leaky. But because it was such a small apartment it wasnt reflected too harshly in the energy bills. Lovely community and good amenities. Walking distance to many restaurants and a grocery store.
When Bexley was managed by Bell Partners it was absolutely fantastic. Now that its under Weinstein its horrible. Maintenance does quick patch-up jobs. Management couldnt care less about valid concerns regarding the apartments - whether it be structural issues such as the front door not being operable, or aesthetic concerns like not being able to look out your windows because their sealers are old and condensation has built up on them.Theyre unreasonable and often make you feel like a nuisance. If youre paying as much as theyre charging then you have every right to be outraged over what they call luxury living. If you want real luxury living with incredible staff then check out The Villages at Westford in Apex. Ditch this place.
The property looks great, I love the option of a fenced in yard. I will hopefully be moving to the Brier Creek area later this year and think this would be a perfect fit for me!
This is by far the worst apartment Ive been in. When we first got here we had roaches in our apartment and we got rid of them on our own with no help from their pest control they offer and fast forward to now we have mice in our kitchen and cant even go in there to eat and everytime we put in a work order they do the bear minimum to fix the problem or just anything in general with the apartment. Its bad enough theres giant roaches everywhere through out the complex at night especially on our porch. DONT LIVE HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!
Until these last few years, Bexley has been everything to me. I am not a fan of the property manager and the team she has. Maintenance is great! But the staff could use some work and more training. I am moving out after 7 years at the end of April. I was quoted an amount by the team 3 different times and received a statement that didnt reflect that. The property manager responded with very little sympathy.... she hasnt been the best property manager that I have experienced here. My water heater exploded last year in December and I had to ask her to put me in a hotel while things were being situated. She never suggested it. The maintenance guy did even though I was going to ask anyway. Everyone was great, understanding and sympathetic in the beginning when I moved here. Its sad because this is a nice complex. This review is for the property manager and her staff - not the complex itself.UPDATE - Just received my deposit back. I put in 3 work orders about my water flooding in the kitchen and told them that it wouldnt be fair if I was charged for the increase due that. KACEY said it would be looked into. KATRINA told me it was still being looked into on May 10 - the so called-invoice was mailed on that day.Bexley was great to me until my last few months and being lied to about the exit amount and this water situation. BEWARE when talking and getting amounts from these two!!!The style, size and cleanliness of the apartment complex is superb - for those who are looking. I do miss my one bedroom but not the flooding or other things that I dealt with there.
I looked at these apartments earlier this year and I wish I would have moved in. I’m planning on moving in next summer. The apartment that I was shown was very clean and I saw a few people walking their dogs. Seems like a wonderful place if you have kids or pets. They even offer fenced in yards!
Nice apartments in a great location with a friendly and helpful staff!
When it rains, it pours underneath my floorsHad no issues for two years but do NOT sign a lease! Water comes into my apartment every time it rains. Staff told me there are issues with the foundation of the building. The maintenance staff and carpet cleaners are the real MVPs because they have come and dug trenches in the cold rain and cleaned the carpet to try and fix the problem. The leasing office told me nothing can be done, and they are not willing to work with me since I have health issues and had to make other living arrangements. Meanwhile my furniture is being ruined in the process. This is my third time requesting a solution and not a “patch up job.” I cannot image the mold, mildew and who knows what else that is growing under my floors. I was told last week that I they would be in touch with me and to check with my renters insurance company. They are not going to cover the damages. Keep in mind, this was the insurance company they recommended when I moved in. I am still waiting on a response from the leasing office and my floors are wet again for the fourth time. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the stress I have had to deal with. I was willing to work with them and find a common ground, but it was the blanket “we cannot do anything, but you are still expected to pay your full rent on time” that really left a bad impression for me. Please keep your family safe and find another home.
Great community. Lots of space in apartments and quiet place to live. Very responsive maintenance and clean
Recently moved here from Texas. First time living in an apartment in over 40 yrs. This is an awesome apartment community. I love my apartment, it is in a primo location within the complex.I have met many of the residents and consider them new friends. Maintenance staff are very friendly and quick to respond.
Not Worth The Cost To RentWhile this complex is conveniently located in the Brier Creek area, it is not worth the higher rent expense. The staff is constantly changing and never leaves notes for issues you report. Maintenance requests are band aid fixed until you either reach out several times or settle for the patch. The landscaping is poorly kept, and amenities are often unavailable. The one redeeming quality is most of the other residents are very friendly.
Ill start with the positives. The floor plans in Bexley at Brier Creek are thoughtful and the best I found in the area. I especially love our fenced in backyard. They are the only property I found with that option. The common areas are nice - especially the playground and dog park. The employees that work at the office and on the maintenance team are friendly and professional. The location in Brier Creek is excellent. However, I wouldnt choose to live here again.First, the windows are not insulated at all. This will reflect in your utility bill. In the winter the windowsills collect significant puddles of moisture and mildew grows daily. You are expected to be ok with this and you are responsible for cleaning the water and mold from the windows daily. Maintenance will come to your apartment and paint over the mold. This appears to be the practice for many years as the windows look terrible. The mold comes back about 2 weeks after they paint over it. Any room with a window will be exceptionally cold in the winter and heat up quickly in the summer. The apartments are not energy efficient and you will have to pay for it in your electric bill. Some apartment noise is expected but the walls here are so thin I can hear my neighbor snoring through the walls at night, the other neighbors kids crying during the day and my upstairs neighbors when they do laundry, take a shower, walk, etc. When we moved in, there was a huge roach problem. I found one in my bed. Every morning I would wake up and kill 3-4 roaches in my apartment. There was a waitlist to get our unit sprayed. I put out my own traps. When I thought the problem was taken care of I removed the traps. But the next morning the roaches were back. There is a lot of rotting wood outside the windows which I suspect is an entry point.Parking is not assigned. Nor are there designated resident and visitor spaces. My neighbors have people who work for them come to their apartment all day so at any given time at least 2 spaces are taken by their employees. I often have to park on the next street over. I would prefer assigned spaces so that I am always guaranteed a space in front of my building. There are several other details that have been overlooked which is why I dont believe these apartment should be labeled as luxury. In the guest bathroom, the toilet tank lid was the wrong size and it shifted every time my kids used it. The caps that cover the screws at the base of the toilet werent secure. They werent even the right caps. They were just pieces of plastic that balanced on the screws. I removed them and now the screws are exposed. My sons closet door falls of the track every other time we open it. Now I just keep it open to avoid it falling - it almost fell on my son once. The door to the laundry room has a warped rail. It sticks and has to be forced closed. It too falls off. When we first moved in I was unpacking into the pantry when the shelf collapsed. It was missing 2 of the brackets that hold it up. On further inspection, all cabinets had missing brackets. The stove had a burner that was sparking. Turns out the burner had been replaced with burner from a totally different model stove. The counters in the kitchen are made of particle board with a plastic coating (very dated and stain immediately even when you wipe it up quickly). The underside isnt finished. The underside of the overhang is exposed particle board that flakes and splinters. The steam from the dishwasher has bleached out the countertop that is over it. The fixtures are dated for a luxury apartment. The carpet was removed and linoleum floors installed before we moved in. But they didnt change the baseboards or doors so now there are huge gaps. There are stains in the tile floors in the bathrooms. When they painted the bathrooms they werent careful and the tile baseboards have drips of paint. When we moved in there was no cover over the light over the shower. At least 2 doors dont latch shut without significant effort to close them correctly.
I renewed the lease Katrina in office she helped us a lot with good attitude, knowledge and without wasting time. All the staff in office and maintenance staff are excellent and outstanding.
Bexley at Brier Creek is a wonderful apartment complex. It is well maintained and in great condition. We have a 1-bedroom apartment with an attached garage - you dont find many of those around anywhere. We are right across the street from Brier Creek shopping center.; so were 5 minutes from a dozen restaurants and even more stores. There were even fireworks this week at the shopping center we could see from our balcony.
Wow, I just got done touring Bexley Brier Creek and I love my future home. Great location with shopping right across the street, super friendly staff and beautiful grounds. A place I can call home.
I took a tour of this property. All of the staff I encountered were extremely friendly. I am currently looking for a place to live. After this experience, I am considering Bexley Creek.
My husband and I were thinking about renting at bexley. Unfortunately our furbabies are in the list of restricted breeds, sad to see so many “pet friendly” communities that aren’t truly pet friendly.
Great location and great price. We were planning to move somewhere newer but when looking at other complexes in the area we realized we are happy at Bexley.
Recently relocated to the area, toured this property and loved the location and amenities! Staff was professional and knowledgeable, as well.
Recently moved in and I absolutely love my unit. The staff is prompt with any requests I may have. The grounds are nice and well kept. If you are looking for a new home please come here! There are a lot of dogs lol but the pet owners clean up behind their animals and it’s nice seeing the variety of breeds here!
I stopped by over the weekend while looking for an apartment for this spring. So far after looking at 10 or more places I cant imagine going with any other location. The staff was amazing and the property was beautiful!
I live here currently, and am renewing my lease! I love it here. The location is amazing, the apartment quality is wonderful. The staff are absolutely amazing and helpful. I cannot say enough positive things about Bexley at Brier Creek. Ive had a couple of minor issues, and they are fixed promptly. Best place I have ever lived, hands down!
Going onto our second month, best apartment complex Ive ever lived in (out of seven total).Quick and professional with repair services. Friendly and understanding office staff (and policies). Great location with a mile of tons of grocery stores and shops. If you can get in, I highly recommend it.
I lived at Bexley at Brier Creek for 2 years. Did I have maintenance issues while I was there? Sure. These are older apartments and the management does not try to hide that. But the maintenance guys came out every time I reported something and they fixed it. I did not have any noise issues so I cant speak to that, but my experience was overall positive. I loved going to the gym and the pool. I know there is also a playground and dog play place but I never went there. My only complaint honestly was that my mailbox was far away from my apartment. But that is nothing they could have done, I dont think. For me, I did not have any major problems and you just cant beat the location of this complex.
This is the best place to live. When I downsized, I looked at 33 places online and then narrowed it to 10 to visit. This has been my home for five years for multiple reasons:- Maintenance requests are taken care of in a timely manner with friendly, competent people.- It is dog friendly and my Sassy enjoys visiting the people in the leasing office.- The street lights in the complex allow me to walk Sassy any time day or night.- My neighbors are friendly.- The community has activities and is kept up to par.- It is close to all highways and walking distance to everything you could ever want.- My place is a home and not an apartment. It is beautiful and soundproof.Come join us!! You wont want to leave either. : )
Its the best community, I have ever lived in Brier Creek area. I have been living here from 4 years and it is such a great experience. Maintenance service staff is top notch. Also, office staff is courteous and humble. Property manager Christine always make sure, residents get quality living experience. Club house, swimming pool and gym facilities are well equipped. Also, residents are very welcoming. I am sad to move out as I have house now. But, I would recommend Bexley at Brier Creek to anyone in Brier Creek area. Bexley certainly maintains exceptional standards than any other apartment communities in this area.
EDIT: No one told me to write a review. This is just my experience living in this apt complex, and I have no reason whatsoever to lie about it. 😊Recently moved in and everything has been great. I live in a downstairs apartment, you can definitely hear footsteps from neighbors sometimes (hardwood floors) but not something unbearable. I guess it depends whos living in it. The area Im in is really quiet. Like really, really quiet. I love it! (All apartments are rented in building/area) The apartment overall looks really good, all cabinets look new. Appliances could definitely be updated, or maybe stainless steel, for the price you pay. I wish the landscaping in our building would look better, compared to others. I spoke to management about this, they said they would take care of it. Everyone, including management, is really nice here. All in all, Im really happy being part of this community. Hopefully for a long time.
Convenient location. I love that I can walked to everything. And not to mention my apartment is the best and a great size. The staff is so nice in the office. 5 stars all the way!
I looked at several places in the area and just loved the service and staff at Bexley at Brier Creek. Everyone in the office was so nice and helpful and helped me to find an apartment that suited me since there are different floor plans to choose from. I love my new apartment, it has plenty of windows and light and very peaceful and quiet as well as great neighbors. The staff are always so helpful, extremely nice and accommodating helping me to get what I need while adjusting to the new move. I can also walk my dog any time of day or evening and feel completely safe! I highly recommend this community & it feels like family & not just another place to live!
Ive been here about a month, so far everything is good, small maintenance issues moving in that were quickly taken care of (doors needed shaved and garage door didnt work/not programmed). Only complaint is the dog park isnt designed well at all, no shade and no water, so if you do bring your dogs down in the summer/warmer days you wont be able to stay long.
I have been here for almost a year and both the office and maintenance staff are absolutely stellar. My dog drags me into the office on a regular basis to grab a treat from the office staff... they love her and she loves them. They do everything they can to make our stay here great. Im really excited because were getting Amazon package lockers and since Amazon is life... its going to be amazing. Theyve seen some staff changes since Ive been here but everyone Ive dealt with at this place has been kind, quick to assist, and just awesome. If they dont know or cant do something, theyll tell you right away, then find the answer for you. This is my third Weinstein property and Im not planning to lease anywhere else - if I have to move again, itll be to a house.Edit to add: Honestly - if youre only writing a review because youre mad about something, youre writing it for the wrong reasons. Everyone Ive worked with has gone above and beyond to help out. I bet that if you let them, theyd help you too, silly negative review people.
I have been living at Bexley at Brier Creek for a year and will be continuing to reside here. I highly recommend living here. The location is amazing and close to everything. The apartment complex is nice and is well maintained. The apartments are not brand new, but are very big for the area and price. Everything has worked great in my apartment and any maintenance has been addressed and completed in a timely fashion. The staff is all wonderful and very friendly from the leasing office to the maintenance staff. The communication here is great including packages at the office, prior maintenance entrance to your apt and any new or events. If you read the resident handbook you will truly know what to expect.
Revised: based on my first week here, Ive decided to change my rating based on the service, maintenance responce and overall impression and surroundings. Minor things that are normal with older apartments but I think the management and maintenance are more important.
I love everything about this apartment complex. The staff is wonderful! Every time I have needed assistance, they jump into action! If anything in my apartment messes up, maintenance is there within 24 hours to fix it! It is in a great location with an awesome pool for the summer time! All of the tenants are friendly as well. It is pet friendly which is great if you have any animals! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to move to the Raleigh area!
I moved down here for work and immediately read the great reviews for Bexley at Brier Creek. It was as great as the reviews said. To be sure, I also look at a few others around the area but immediately came back and applied. The staff is amazing, kind and courteous! The property is well maintained. Great dog park!! Best decision I could of made!Thank you guys for everything!Chip
I used to live at Bexley Panther Creek and moved here recently. There was nothing wrong with Panther Creek, having lived there for three years prior. Brier Creek is bigger, a bit cheaper, and a lot closer to work for both me and my roommate.I love the apartment layout! It seems more open and the deck is amazing. I sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. I can sometimes hear the people above me but its nothing obnoxious. I enjoy walking my doggie around the complex and everyone Ive run into are very nice. The complex staff are very nice, particularly Stacy. She is honestly the reason we moved here.
Ive been living here for almost 2 years now and this place has been great. At the office the staff is always helpful and the area is very nice and well maintained. I would keep living here but Im moving into a new house, otherwise I would continue to stay here. Victoria has always been so friendly and willing to help with anything we needed.
I love this community because the people you meet here become your family. I love that we can live simply. Life is comfortable here. We don’t deal with much heavy traffic. It’s easy to get from one side of the city to the other, but there are also endless places to explore.
Have been here almost three months now and still in love with our apartment and the beautiful property. The one bedroom layout is super spacious and well designed. The ladies in the office are very friendly and the maintence team always reacts fast to any issues. You also cant beat how central this property is to all the shops and resturants around it.
We love this apartment. We have a 3 bedroom for a family of 4. The apartment is very spacious and managed to fit all of our apartment plus a full basement from NJ into it. The closets are huge!!!! Maintenance are always prompt and very efficient. The pool is amazing and extremely clean - pool parties for the kids are a plus. We love the staff in the office, they are always available to answer questions and greet my kids with kind words, cookies and lemonade. We are also very fortunate to have great neighbors. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to a friend.
Ive lived here for a few months now and I couldnt be happier. Any minor maintenance issues weve had have been addressed very quickly. The staff is all excellent. My car got stuck on snow recently, and the men who helped me with it really went above and beyond! I highly recommend this place; it really feels like home!
More detailed review coming later with photos and emails from this property.Stay away. There is a large amount of deceitful practices going on with the move out inspection.Stay tuned for emails/conversations/photos.
Would you like to become an entomologist, or a person who studies bugs? Well then weve found the perfect apartment complex for you.During our time at Bexley Brier Creek, we learned about a new (to us) type of spider called the common hentz jumper because we found it in our living room, and we had to look it up because it looks, surprisingly, like a scorpion. Weve also found a number of other tiny critters, including silverfish, roaches, and ants. The best part about all of this is that we were only there short term and did not cook a single dish in the place. We also had a very leaky shower head which it took no less than five maintenance requests for Bexley to fix. We ended up with quite a stack of forms notifying us that theyd been in the apartment. The beautiful, landscaped hillside outside of our balcony was peppered with abandoned shopping carts from a number of local stores. There were about four until some college kids underneath us got drunk and removed them on a dare, one tumbling down the hill in the process. This apartment complex was right next to a bus stop and within great walkable distance of shops and restaurants, but I just dont think that it made up for the rest of it.
Relocated from Texas to North Carolina 2014. Location was a must; I chose Bexley at Brier Creek. The Staff/Maintenance are the Best! Floor plans/layouts of apartments are much more spacious than Sites I visited. 2017, I chose to relocate again; finding availability at Bexley at Brier Creek! The Staff have been more than accommodating too help with this move. Safety, location, amenities, and comfortability are all available here. Again, Bexley at Brier Creek location is perfect for access to all you could possibly need!
UPDATE:Ms. Victoria from the leasing office promptly reached out to us explaining how to deal with the ongoing noise issues in the future and we are totally satisfied with her suggestions, hopefully things get sorted out. Other than this, the community is really good, been living here for over 2.5 years now, a beautiful place to live in with young children and dogs(except some irresponsible dog owners who dont pick up after their dogs). And the after hours property attendant and a fellow dog parent, Ms. Stacey attended to us promptly assuring us we dont have to feel left alone dealing with the nuisance. If you want to sit in your own living room with some peace, please do not move in, worst location/management in dealing with noise levels, do not fall in the trap thinking as the rent is high, everything should be better. You will find dog poop EVERYWHERE, worst maintained locality we have ever lived in so far. It was good until last year, no idea what exactly happened in this past one year.
Great complex and I would give it 5 stars if I didnt have problems with parking near my building because of a resident who owns a cleaning company and has 4 cars that she parks at least 3 of them near my building. I kinda pay too much to deal with this daily. Been here four 4 almost 5 years.... may need to move all bc of the OUTSIDE of the building.Kind of tired of dealing with the foolery of parking.
My wife and I have lived here for just over a year. From the very first phone call Bexley has been nothing but great to us. The folks in the office are always kind and attentive, they are super friendly to our dog (he loves visiting them to get treats) and they are very responsive to any communication. The maintenance staff is friendly and quick to respond to the few basic requests we had. Most everyone in the community is extremely nice and we’ve made several friends at the dog park. Some people drive a little too fast in the parking lot but that’s pretty much everywhere in the triangle from what I can tell.Of the 3 apartments we’ve had in Raleigh this one is hands down our favorite. The layout and the space has been great and the pool and public pavilions are great in the summer.
Ive been renting at Bexley at Brier Creek since December, 2015. I am very happy with my experience at Bexley. I love the pet friendly, child friendly environment. Any time I called with a problem, the management office addressed my problem immediately. My request to have closer parking due to my mothers handicap was addressed within the week. Requesting maintenance is very easy, and the maintenance personnel are prompt (problem is fixed) and friendly. I extended my lease for another year this past December. My son is also interested in renting at Bexley due to my experience. Thank you, Bexley Management Office!
I love living here and love the community feel! Extremely pet friendly and a wonderful staff! The community feels like it’s own little neighborhood and the people living here love here for a reason!
Moved in this past July and my fiancé and I love it! Located near a lot of things to do and everything is at your fingertips! The staff is amazing as they know you on a first name basis! Very price competitive also! The communication and staff have been helpful from the day we moved in! Our friends that live around the area have all said they are becoming apart of this pet/people friendly community as soon as there current lease at their other apartment runs out! Huge clean gym and amazing pool with a cook and lounge area!
I am so over this apartment complex.Maintenance is rude, they FINALLY got better office staff other than the prude girls that worked there before, and the a/c units are old as hell and they will not replace so dont be surprised when your air goes out and it takes them forever to fix it.I am down the road at a different complex and much happier. Its funny that it says they have a 4.4 when I personally know people that have posted bad reviews about them on Google and they are not publicHmmmmmmmmmmmm?
Really great location and spacious floorplans. They also have yards which is great for my two dogs. Very convenient to my job also.
Nice, quiet neighborhood! The complex has great amenities. The new gym updates are fantastic and its walking distance to the grocery store, which is very convenient. The staff is also very responsive and helpful!
Bexley at Brier Creek has been great to us! The maintenance department is outstanding and have answered every call within 2 hours. The office staff is wonderful and makes everything dealing with the financial side very easy.
Charged us $500 to have pets, then literally tore up the carpet looking for excuses to charge us more. Crime rate is going up. Very poor quality building for luxury price.I own a carpet shampooer and clean regularly due to allergies. We cleaned again before moving out and took photos. We received a bill for replacing all of the carpet in the unit anyway. There were no visible stains when we moved out. The property manager makes a regular habit of tearing out the carpet and looking for evidence of stains on the back of it. For all I know the photos he took are the underside of a coffee stain, which is absolutely not visible on brown carpet. We are being billed the cost of replacing all of the carpet in the whole unit, based on stains that cant be seen without ripping out the carpet. Our $500 deposit counts for nothing.Ridiculous.I also want to add that everything the other reviewer said about poor construction quality is true. Our dishwasher never worked. Our washer exploded. Our air conditioner somehow flooded the living room. The garbage disposal clogged constantly. The place is barely insulated at all, and somehow used more energy than a two story house.Even worse, the apartment stopped doing background checks. Crime rate started going up. Someone murdered their dog in the pool not long before we moved out. We noticed police cars responding to fights late at night. Im pretty sure someone was casing our apartment late at night, and I heard comments about things being stolen.Luxury, this isnt.
First off, I want to say that most of these “5 star reviews” are most likely fake. I see one almost every time a bad review comes up, and it makes me very angry that Bexley has to lie about the level of satisfaction of this place. That pettiness is unprofessional. To quote a 5 star review “if you’re writing a bad review because you’re mad, you’re writing it for the wrong reasons”. HA no, we write bad reviews because of how many stressful situations we have dealt with within this complex.I recently moved out and I do not recommend living here. I paid over $1000/month for my apartment (with a dated 1970s thermostat and low-quality washer and dryer) and I will never live in another Weinstein property. I saw roaches, spiders, and all types of bugs in my apartment, the parking sucked to where I had to park over at the next building and walk to my apartment if I got home anytime after 6:00PM, and my car got broken into twice. We definitely ask for help here and communicate with the office staff that there are issues, but there shouldn’t be multiple issues a month living here in a “luxury apartment”, which is way off from what it actually is. The kitchen appliances are dated and there isn’t a microwave, my dryer quit on me twice within a month, and if you have issues, they don’t treat you with respect.Yes, the new office staff is much better, but the quality of the apartments are not worth what you pay AT ALL.
The gym is kept extremely clean, has plenty of equipment for an apartment complex gym, and is never too crowded. The pool is nice and clean and never too crowded either. Apartments are spacious and maintenance is really responsive.
Just moved here and love it. Very dog friendly community and have already met people at the kabana. Gym is legit for an apartment too.
A very nice and clean place to stay. Staff is always ready to help you. Its a great place to stay with kids. I highly recommend them.
Outstanding place to call home! I really appreciate the friendly service from Tracy and the whole team at Bexley Briar Creek. The complex always felt like a neighborhood, with well maintained lawns and friendly neighbors. Im moving on for work, but am thankful I found Bexley for the year I was in Raleigh.
I lived at Bexley at Brier Creek for 4 years and only moved because I bought a house. Its such a great location and the office staff is very receptive and friendly. 5 stars!
Since day 1 of checking out Bexley in brier creek they have exceeded our expectations by far. Ive moved at least once every year, and this place is completely unparalleled. The facilities are beautiful and the apartments are nice, but the staff really makes it complete. The girls in the office are extremely friendly and welcoming, highly professional without being stiff, and the maintenance men have responded to our requests way faster than we were expecting, and did a great job! If you move to Brier Creek, and you dont live in Bexley, youre doing it wrong! * I would also like to note for any negative Nancys out there that I do not work for this property. I am a resident!*
Worst place I have ever lived. Management is terrible and does not compensate you when they are at fault, and I see a new bug every week in my apartment. Also had an ant infestation in my kitchen for 3 days. I had to take care of it myself because pest control only comes on Tuesdays, and it happened on a Saturday. There are much better complexes in the area. Do not waste your $
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! TRUST ME!!!!! We we’re moving to Raleigh and needed an apartment close by the airport for my husband’s job. When we were looking at the reviews people were complaining about the bugs, so we thought okay that’s not so bad. Nothing prepared us for what we had just walked in to. The reviews that are posted here cannot be real because we had a totally different experience. We have lived at Bexley at Brier Creek for a year. We were anxiously waiting for our lease to be up the second we moved in. The second that we moved in the smell of wet dog was all over the apartment. No matter how much I cleaned I couldn’t not get rid of the smell. The bathrooms were full of mold, behind the door collected even more mold. Behind the door for the ac unit had mold. Around the windows would always collect mold. Basically, our apartment had mold everywhere. We had several problems with our ac unit. The thermostat is really old so the ac unit is very old. All the kitchen appliances are all out of date. Our kitchen had so much dog hair suck to the cabinets that they did not even bother to clean up the previous owner dog hair, and repainted the cabinets and walls all over the apartment with the dog hair stuck to it. We just could not understand how so many people rent here, and the rent is not so cheap. They need to upgrade all these apartments pronto. We just don’t not understand how can they lease these apartments in these conditions. If I can give zero stars I would!!!! . Definitely will take time to go look at an apartment next time we move. Lesson Learned!!!!!!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is AWFUL. Everything is out dated (appliances, AC units) and not worth the thousands of dollars I pay for this place. Theres so many other places in the area that are cheaper and much nicer. Everyone I know that lives around me absolutely hates it and are also counting down the days until their lease is up. I have had countless issues since moving in here and the office staff does nothing to help. No matter how clean I keep this apartment, I find a new bug every day.Edit: they say they reached out to me to try and fix the issues but never actually did!!!
This is my first apartment experience and I love Bexley! The staff is super friendly and the maintenance guys are awesome! I def havent noticed mold or a bug issue thats not out of the norm. I love my padio so Im always going in and out. I also have a small child and love being on the first floor! I dont feel like the walls are paper thin. I can hear my neighbor walking upstairs (sometimes) but I never hear my neighbors beside me. The pool and gym are awesome. The only thing thats aggravating at the gym is sometimes the remotes do not work so its a guessing game. Also the gym does get dusty but its not terribly dirty. The equipment is awesome and very up to date. All in all Im very happy here and believe this was the best choice for my first apartment !😊🙌
*Edited to add:They did not try to resolve these issues to my satisfaction, at all. I never got my refund from my high electric bill from THEIR NEGLIGENCE OF THE A/C UNIT BEING LOW ON FREON. My back burner also stopped working but I knew it would be more of a pain to try and get a maintenance worker to fix it so I left it when I moved out. Please please make sure you click newest ratings or sort from lowest to highest. They like to put fake 5 star reviews on here, or have people rate the place who are brand new or have had zero issues and it floods their reviews with fake, untrue statements so their rating goes up instead of being truthful. Its absolutely unbelievable. It took me THREE MONTHS of complaining about my loud upstairs neighbors until I emailed corporate about it and then they magically let me move apartments because I went straight to the top because nothing was being done. BEWARE!I am also not sure why most of my pictures are not posting, but I have many email screenshots from these situations saved to show how terrible this place is. ****If you want to see the pictures of the below statements, click on my name and you can view them on my review on my profile because for some reason they are not showing up.Oh man I have been waiting so long to finally post this review now that Im moved out!! I cant even fit everything that I want to say in this post. I have been counting the days since AUGUST to get out of this place. Biggest mistake I ever made. My best friend lived here as well and absolutely despised it.-Very loud upstairs neighbor (wooden floors)(I will document that they did let me switch apartments and did not charge me a transfer fee because I had so many issues with this. Just do not get a 2nd floor apartment)-Air conditioning unit was low on freon, which caused our electric bill to skyrocket (documented below), and was not reimbursed by Bexley even though it was THEIR FAULT FOR THE UNIT BEING FROM 1985 (the maintenance guy even told me the unit was low on freon, which will make your a/c unit run even more which caused our $75 bill to go to $230 and they beat around the bush and did not refund me)-During the 2018 hurricane, a friend came to stay with me and brought their dog. I paid the visiting dog fee (YES THEY HAVE A VISITING PET FEE OF $30/night which NO OTHER COMPLEX HAS) and borrowed a crate from my mom to put the dog in. After they left, bexley tried to make me pay a new pet fee and pet charges because they said it looked like a dog was still living there BECAUSE I HAD A CRATE OUT and they left their extra leash. They lied to me and said they saw food and water bowls which I did not have. The dog had left TWO WEEKS prior to this and they were sneaking around my apartment trying to find things to charge me with-Parking is insane at Building 10411. If you get home past 6PM, youll be parking at another building and walking to your apartment. my moving guys couldnt even find a spot at 8 AM-These are not luxury apartments. They have white cabinets, old white appliances, and yellowish countertops. I am living at Colonial Grand - Brier Falls and pay $300 less a month (around 938) for a much sturdier apartment with way better appliances/granite countertops, better staff, and better quality for your money. They are constantly improving the complex and the pool is so serene and quiet, AND has palm trees.-Ant infestation that covered my fridge and cabinets. Happened on a Saturday and they said The exterminator only comes on Tuesdays so I had to pretty much take care of the entire problem myself, including buying ant traps, bleach, bug spray, and outdoor spray for my patio door.-Carpet started falling apart near the entrance by the tile floor-I had a 2nd floor apartment with a regular patio (not screened in) and I couldnt even sit outside at night because there were cockroaches crawling aroundNeedless to say, I am over the moon happy about leaving. Please stay stay stayyyyyy away from this complex. This all happened from March 2018-June 2019.
This is my favorite apartment community I have ever lived in! The office staff is super nice and the location is AWESOME!! Couldnt be happier to call Bexley at Brier Creek my home.
***SEE PHOTOS***Ive been here about a month, and I keep finding problems that were not dealt with before I moved in. The kitchen sink handle was very loose and needed to be replaced. Food was still caked on to one of the stove burners. The side of the fridge was rusted. Trash and dust was accumulated under the fridge and stove. The toilet would continuously run unless I jiggled the handle. The lightswitch in the bathroom was very finnicky and stopped working after about 2 weeks. The bathtub drain is incredibly worn and looks rusty (maintenance says its brass, the chrome wore off). The ceiling fan in my bedroom was very loose and would swing around whenever it was on. The kitchen area has a weird smell that I still havent gotten used to; could be due to the lack of cleaning. Most of these problems have since been fixed, after I put in mainntenance requests, but frankly I feel like all of this should have been handled before I moved in. This is supposed to be a luxury apartment community, but so far it hasnt given me a good first impression.Part of me felt like rating this lower than 3 stars, but I do have to admit that I like the floor plan and the location, the people in the front office have been helpful and friendly, and I havent had any other problems so far aside from the lack of pre-move-in maintenance. Occasionally I hear airplanes flying by, but that was expected given the proximity to RDU.Hopefully the place will start to feel more like home as I get everything properly fixed up.
If I could give no stars I would, they are not worth the thousands you pay to live here. They had my mom who is disabled a vet living with all kinds of maintenance issues. She informed them numerous times and they just retaliated against her. Bugs, broken air, excuses is all they are good for. The apartments are outdated and only look good on the outside. I will be posting pictures for you guys to know what you are getting into. DONT DO IT
Love this place so much, great location, nice and friendly staff, great amneties, best neighbors, what else can I say? I love everything about here and blessed to call it home .
I have been living at Bexley at Brier Creek for the past 3 years now. They are always looking for ways to improve the community and make our facilities better for the residents. The addition of a dog park was the final straw of excellence (now if only we could get some stepping stones leading down to it :)The maintenance team has always been extremely speedy filling any requests that we have had, although there are only one or two major problems that we have encountered while living here. The leasing consultants and the manager are also wonderful. They are extremely helpful when it comes to winter weather and clearing the sidewalks and roads. I havent met an truly unfriendly person that works here. For the most part, all the people are very nice that live here. Most awesomely, everyone here is very pet-friendly. If you arent into animals, I probably wouldnt live here, because there are so many cute ones on every walk around the neighborhood. If you are friendly and love to be close to everything (Brier Creek, DT Durham, DT Raleigh, all the major highways), then this is the place for you. I would never move if I could help it.
This pace is gorgeous and spacy. A perfect place to call home.
Great location, friendly staff.
Great place. All of the staff is really helpful, responsive and courteous!
We had a terrible experience at this apartment. We moved in from out of state so we did not get to look at it before moving in. If we had, we would not have chosen this apartment at all. Upon moving in I was expecting a certain quality based on the price and being marketed as luxury apartments, but all of the appliances were VERY old and barely functioning. The refrigerator barely had a seal to stay closed. The dishwasher was bent and rusted and messed up several of my pots and pans. The washer and dryer only worked some of the time. The carpet was threadbare and the lights and fans were the cheapest available. Half of the outlets didnt work at all and the keys they gave us didnt even work, luckily we found keys in a drawer from the previous resident that did work. Also the floors are not properly insulated and you could hear every step the person above you made. Once moved in they inspect at least once a month and give you less than 24 hours notice and worse it is random, so i am expected to keep my pets locked up just in case. During the year we lived there there were fire alarm tests that they did not send notification out about and when asked about it they said they didnt have time, which left people lie me, who happened to be home, panicking to get my pets outside into the rain. Now upon moving out they are charging us to replace the carpets that were crap when we moved in because of pet stains in the carpet padding. Never mind that i have seen them change out portions of the padding because they came to my apartment by mistake to do that as well. In addition they were in areas that were closed off the entire time we lived there so there were no animals there. In summary, there are higher quality apartments available for cheaper and i am sure you would have to deal with less hassle.
Lived here for almost 2 yrs. The neighborhood is pretty but the apts are overpriced. The appliances in my apt would constantly not work like the oven and washer. The apt itself was bulit cheap and shabby. I did a lot of (DIY) projects b/c I got tired of calling. My main disappointment in Bexley was that they werent reasonable in offering a month to month lease that was affordable since we were purchasing a house and the closing date went past our leasing date. Beware, they pulled the the market card that made the rent so high we had to sign another short term lease to keep our rent nearly the same. Needless to say, we felt like we were signing the lease in distress. Bexley need to come up with a better program when residents are purchasing homes. This situation is not unique just to us. All bexley saw was a payment before, with the high month to month, or a payment after by breaking the lease. They could have went up atleast $100.00 but that was not an option. I told the leasing agent there doesnt seem to be a ceiling on the market and she agreed but there is a ceiling to how my wife and I with kids got paid!
Lived here for 5 years. Never had a problem and enjoyed every year of it. Had to relocate for work otherwise Id still be here!
This place has thin walls and pest issues. But the maintenance staff is good an I loved the coffee bar!
The absolute worst. Problems from day one. I have lived here for 7months and my air filters have not been changed a single time. They can invest in electric car charging stations but can’t invest in general maintenance for 1400 a month in rent. Don’t waste your time.
Had a scheduled appointment to discuss apartments, we arrived 5 minutes early and the place was empty. Stayed waiting inside until 10 minutes after the appointment and with no sign of anyone coming we finally left.
Complex is well taken care of but dont live on second or 1st floor, youll hear every footstep and creek.
Best apartments in Brier Creek. The location is excellent. 2 minute walk to Lowes Food and 4 minute walk to the Brier Creek Shopping Center which has amazing shops and restaurant. Drive to RDU airport is no more than 8 minutes and its got Google Fiber installed in all the apartments. The staff and maintenance folks at Bexley is excellent. Have been living since 1.5 years now and its been a great experience. The community is very well planned and maintained.Just feel like they should upgrade the kitchen/washer/dryer appliances to stainless steel as the current one looks a bit old and outdated and also the Ashley apartments right across the street (and also Preserve apartments) offers stainless steel appliances. Also, the garbage dumpster is a little far (near leasing office) and feel like there should be 2-3 more of those through out the community to reduce the walk/drive.Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you are working near RTP.
Awful, awful, awful! My son has been locked out of his apartment for 3 hours and the property manager and maintenance hotline refuses to send aid. It is 40 degrees outside and the temp is plummenting. The lock is broken. The lock is broken. He has both keys and the lock will not turn. The property manager refused to send the maintenance personnel because she has never heard of a lock breaking before. I have never seen such poor management. How can someone be so cruel. My husband and I both went to help get into the apartment. The lock is just old and it has broken. Locked all the way out of the home. This is crazy and no one is being responsible
Great service. Friendly and helpful. Very fast to respond to maintenance calls.
Nice place, really feels like home, welcomed before moving in and still feel like I am wanted as a resident. Great size and style apartment and ideal location.
Was very interested in renting here however when I spoke with Victoria today she very dismissive and had poor customer service skills. My boyfriend and I had been looking at apartments all day and we are not looking to move until October but all the other complexes in brier creek were helpful and gave us great info. When we talked to Victoria her response was “I can’t tell you anything because that’s too far away and I bet you’ve heard that all day.” All she told us is that their apartments go quickly and they had nothing available. When I asked if they have any apartments with plank flooring she again said “I can’t tell you about that.” She never gave me the impression she was interested in helping me find an apartment there. I thanked her for her time and left. My boyfriend and I have a visible age difference and he is a minority so I have to wonder if this had something to do with it. Either way, she lost a sale and I will be letting her management company know she needs to be re-trained. Very disappointed as this apartment complex looked like a nice place to live.
BEWARE OF THIS APARTMENT COMPLEXI have lived in a few apartment complexes (I highly recommend Pointe at Crabtree and Colonial Grand at Brier Falls) but this is the absolute worst. My main #1 reason is my upstairs neighbors have hardwood floors and I can ALWAYS hear them walking and stomping around. It has been such a pain that I am terminating my lease early because it happens from 10:30-12 every single night.I have had so many issues with this apartment complex that I couldn’t count on 2 hands. To name a few:Ant infestations, cockroaches, cobwebs all over on the stairs because they don’t maintain the property, swarms of bees outside to where I had to fear walking out to my own car, washer sounds like a freight train, air conditioning units are 22 years old and it went out my first week here to where I didn’t have air for 7 days, and my car got broken into.I am moving to Colonial Grand at Brier Falls and getting a 2 br 2 bath apt for LESS than what I pay for a 1 br 1 bath and it’s a MUCH nicer apartment with spectacular reviews.BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely love living at Bexley! I have never been more pleased and excited to say THIS IS MY HOME! The community is completely friendly and the staff is amazing! Being a single mother with two children, I was very concerned about the ability to adapt to the new life adventure we were taking. The thought of living in Raleigh (a big city) especially after coming from a very small town (thats not even listed on most maps) stirred mixed emotions, but from the first moment of walking through the door at the Lease Office, I felt a sense of comfort and peace! The staff goes above and beyond adding a personal touch to the whole NEW EXPERIENCE! I love being greeted with the kindness and it is a joy to have delightful conversations with them as the days go by. Not knowing anyone when moving up a month ago, My daughters and I have been welcomed with ARMS WIDE OPEN! I THANK GOD FOR FINDING SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE TO CALL HOME! Our neighbors are awesome! My daughters and I have already begun making friends! We look forward to our lil adventures on the property! Everything is literally within reach! The amenities are fabulous and very kid and animal friendly! Our HAPPY dog is even happy! Although it is by far nothing like the country, the sense of GOOD QUALITY LIVING with the country feel of Family and Friends is very present! I couldnt imagine being blessed with a better place to call home! THANK YOU SO MUCH BEXLEY FOR YOUR NEVER ENDING LOVE AND CARE! GOD BLESS YALL FOR YALL ARE A BLESSING TO US!
The worst complex I’ve ever lived atI’m currently locked out of my apartment and its been two hours and still, no help called the after hour number and they didnt want to help told us its our fault that we cant get in the apartment and we should just call locksmith but why am I calling locksmith when I have my keys its your properties lock thats not working the lock isnt turning at all with the key in it. Dont recommend at all
A great value, a wonderful location, and great accommodations. My family could not be happier with our choice to live here.
I would not recommend this place for anyone. I had a very bad experience with moving out. they sent me unreasonable charges with my move out notice.
Good apartments with aminities at low cost. No connectivity using public transport
Victoria works in the front office is the worst !!!! she should be thrown out of from Bexley office. worst customer service . Very rude and ill mannered female. she doesnt do any work and pisses everyone with her bad attitude.
Nice Apartments, Great location and helpful staff!
Great place to live
