It was my first time signing a lease for an off campus student apartment and heard a bunch of stories on how some students had to deal with issues related to signing the lease and all. Stanhope was not like that. I used to call 5-6 times a day because I had so many questions and EVERYONE was so responsive and helpful giving information more than what I needed. A huge shoutout to Hannah for making the process so easy for me and answered every question I had. Absolutely cannot wait to live here in the Fall!

Stanhope is the epitome of student living. The community is amazing along with the service. The gym is amazing, but it would be even better if that added a squat rack. There are some great places to student even though I don’t do much of that. The people who work here are so nice and helpful especially when there’s a maintenance issue. If you are thinking about living around campus I would put Stanhope at the top of the list and trust me you won’t regret it!

I love living at Stanhope! The staff is super nice and helpful if you need anything! Also there are so many great amenities like free Starbucks coffee (hot AND iced), the gym, and free food fridays just to name a few! Also the other people who live here and super nice and fun to meet! Not forgetting to mention I love it so much I’m living here another year :)

I’ve been living at Stanhope for a while now and I absolutely enjoy it. From the cozy rooms to the energetic staff, I feel at home here. The strip of shops below the complex is super convenient, especially for college students without transportation. It’s nice to have the staff at the front office know you on a first name basis and take time out to make sure you’re living comfortably. There’s always an opportunity to get free food, drinks, and other gifts as well. Overall, my experience here at Stanhope has been beyond amazing.

I have lived at Stanhope for the past 2 years and I absolutely LOVE it here. The amenities are absolutely amazing and I love the community involvement here. The office managers are constantly engaging the community members and providing an amazing experience. Maintenance is extremely helpful whenever I am in need of assistance. If you are looking for a trendy and fun apartment complex to live at in the Raleigh area this is the best apartment there is!

If I could live here forever, I would! Having the access to starbucks iced coffee every morning and a tanning bed any time I want is already my dream, but the staff on top of it makes the experience even better! Every time I go to the front desk I think how amazing they are. Special shout-out to Hannah, who I actually made sure to grab her name before she left because of how awesome she was! If you’re looking for an amazing place to live with great location, amenities, and people, this is it.

So far i’m pretty disappointed with my experience at Stanhope. I moved in about a month ago and we got here and the place was pretty dirty. Had to vacuum and the couch had scratches and holes alllll over it and had been duck taped, it still is. It’s also very uncomfortable and the cushions constantly slide off of it. The carpet in the rooms is extremely dingy and has nails sticking up from it. AC broke within the first week, maintenance was quick about fixing it thankfully. Our TV is so old it rarely works, cant watch hbo max or apple tv because it’s that old. On the rare occasion that I can get an app to launch, there’s still a black line running across the tv obstructing the view. We’ve been told TVs are on back order. Additionally, the dryer does not work well. Heats up my clothes to the point they shrink but doesn’t actually dry them. Oh and try living with 4 people and attempting to fit all of your groceries in the small fridge/ freezer. I will not lie the amenities are very nice and kept well but the actual rooms are disappointing. Attached a picture of the couch.

I love living at Stanhope! I have been here for almost a year and it’s the best!! All the staff are so nice and helpful and the free food Fridays are the highlight of my week! I love going to the gym and study rooms without ever having to leave the building. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!

I was assisted with financial issues as a college student (FAFSA related). The apartment staff is very friendly. I was helped by (Hannah) who had a wonderful personality and was very helpful with my unique situation. I signed with Stanhope because you get what you pay for, and Stanhope is well worth it for college students of any grade.

Stanhope has been amazing since transferring to NC State. The location is near everything you can need. The service within the apartments is top notch. If something goes wrong, it is easily fixed within thirty minutes. I cannot say enough great things from the COVID precautions, weekly free food Fridays, and staff friendliness.

This is my second year living in Stanhope and I love it! The amenities are top tier, the staff is so nice and helpful, and if you need maintenance in your unit for anything whatsoever, I always am able to get the problem fixed within 24 hours. It is also in a great location, right next to NC State, and only minutes from downtown.

I love how helpful the staff is and how willing they are to resolve issues in the apartment. Even with the covid-19 pandemic I find myself able to access the amenities and grounds of the apartment complex, which is favorable compared to other apartment communities. The general public areas such as the lobby are usually very clean and orderly, although they do need some design updating/refreshing.

I love Stanhope!!! Seriously, this apartment complex is no joke. I have lived here 3 years and could not imagine living anywhere else. The employees are so helpful and friendly from maintenance to the office staff! Adriane, the property manager, works so hard to make sure the residents are happy and it shows! The amenities here cannot be beat; spray tanning, a huge gym, free printing and a hotel style pool!The property is constantly doing giveaways and free food or drinks from the surrounding restaurants, which I appreciate as a college student! Living here has elevated my college experience and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I’ve enjoyed my time here at Stanhope. Even during the pandemic, they have been very responsive and offer great amenities. I look forward to ‘Thirsty Thursdays’ with Cha House. The apartment complex is at a great location, especially with Smoothie King below.

I work for Stanhope (Kane) and as someone who has been in student housing for over 15 years, I can honestly say this is the most well-built, well managed student community I’ve ever known. We’ve been fortunate enough to have the same manager for 5 years and she cares deeply about the residents, parents, retailers, neighbors, and community. In addition our maintenance supervisor and his team have been together for multiple years and continue to elevate the operations of the community! You can see how well cared for Stanhope is just by walking the halls.The location next to NC State is completely unbeatable and the vibe of the location on Hillsborough Street is perfect for all students. We are proud of our amenities and continue to invest money into the capital improvements, so that our students can really feel the value for their money!

I love Stanhope! It has a great staff, amenities and the location is so close to campus you can walk to class. There is an awesome game room, pool and really attentive staff for whenever you need anything! Also cant beat free food Friday and thirsty Thursday. Definitely look into living at Stanhope, its the best!!

Stanhope has an incredible attention to detail and their compassionate team is always willing to help! They give you free food on fridays and a free spray tan once a month! However wifi is spotty. Stanhope the perfect distance to campus and I love the community!

In my opinion, the cost of living in Stanhope is much too high for the quality of living that it offers. Yes, it is extremely close to campus, and yes, it is a fairly new building and the rooms and facilities are fancy, but the students that live there make it an okay-at-best place to live. They are extremely loud, destructive, and more often than not show a complete disregard for the general well-being of the apartment complex and those living in it. The public areas in Stanhope (especially stairwells and elevator areas) are usually covered with trash and miscellaneous puddles of liquid that range from urine to Gatorade. I dont really believe this to be so much of an issue with staffing as it is just an issue of people making messes much faster than they can be cleaned up. Parking is ridiculously expensive, and I know that some people park in the Dan Allen Deck instead to save money.All that being said, if you can deal with occasionally disgusting sights and/or smells, the actual apartments in Stanhope are very nice. They are somewhat small, but they provide a very comfortable living space (besides the screaming drunk people on the weekends). When you submit a maintenance report, it is usually less than 24 hours before someone arrives to fix the issue. Also, the internet in Stanhope is usually fast and reliable, with provided WiFi for residents as well as the ability for residents to use their own routers. The pool area in Stanhope is extremely nice, and it is usually kept fairly clean. The location of Stanhope is extremely nice, as it is both on Hillsborough street and extremely close to NC States campus. It is also close enough to Meredith College that quite a few Meredith students live there as well.In summary, Stanhope is definitely okay, especially considering the fact that a bunch of college students live there. I (an NC State student) have lived there for the past year and am going to live there again next year.

I have lived here for two years now and having previously lived in other student apartments around state can say without a doubt this is the best. Location is great being right on hillsborough street you can walk anywhere on campus with ease. The quality of the apartment itself is fantastic. The amenities (pool, gym, coffee machine) really round out this place as a great place to live. Every interaction I’ve had with the staff has been pleasant and professional. Anytime I had to put in a work order or had any problem in general they were quick to address it and remedy the situation. I would highly recommend Stanhope to any college student in Raleigh!

Stanhope is one of the nicest apartment complexes I have seen. It has all of the amenities you could ask for, and there is a parking deck in the building which no other apartment complex has. The rooms are high quality with a huge island, and nice kitchen. The rooms are spacious and renovated unlike other places.

Stanhope is an excellent place to live and visit. As a UNC student, I wish there was a Stanhope complex at UNC :(((

I’ve spent the last year (my first year as a transfer student at NC State) here at Stanhope and I’ve loved absolutely everything about it! The amenities are great; always very clean and security is always on top of things. The computer lab, study lounges, and art studio have been really useful these past two semesters with school, and the movie theatre, game room, and pool area have been really fun to enjoy! Also, as a transfer student especially, the location of being right on Hillsborough (just a 10-15 min walk to classes and numerous shops/restaurants/cafes) was an integral part of my smooth transition to the new bigger campus and harder curriculum (compared to my previous institution). I’ve made so many friends in the building, and the staff are probably one of my favorite parts; so communicative and friendly. They get to know you on a first name basis, are very approachable, and make an effort to be very involved with the community here. The building is always very clean (especially considering the residents are all college students), and the sound doesn’t ever get too loud (maybe weekends, but security does a great job of responding to complaints and keeping everyone happy). I’ve also REALLY enjoyed being right above/cross from Cha House, Cup-a-Joe, NicePrice Books, and Readers Corner. Great for studying/finding cheap used books for classes. This apartment complex is in the perfect location, has awesome floor plans and is very clean, and the staff is amazing. Just signed with them again for this upcoming year as well... can’t imagine living anywhere else for undergrad. Def. recommend.

As the parent of a college student, I have been incredibly pleased with Stanhope. It is so nice knowing my daughter is safe and happy there. The apartment is well appointed, and the entire complex has tons of amenities. From a parents perspective, my favorite things are the buildings proximity to NCSU campus, the on-site security and the gated parking deck. The icing on the cake is the office staff. Their customer service is fantastic, and they handle all my questions and requests with positivity. Ms. Karlinski, the property manager, is an outstanding example in her role. Her genuine kindness single handedly erased any worry I had about my daughter living in her first apartment. Stanhope truly is the best.

Im a student at NC State and I currently live at Stanhope. I love it here. It is a close walk to my classes and in great proximity to everything on Hillsborough Street. Yeah the walls are thin and it can get a little rowdy but I enjoy the social aspect of Stanhope overall. Lots of my friends live here so it is very convenient for me. The staff is very friendly and the amenities are awesome. The price compared to the new apartments going up nearby is much better in my opinion. Stanhope is clean, has a great location, and still relatively new so I think the price is warranted. Id rather live here than any other student apartment. :)

Stanhope is such a great place to live! Its location is super central and they provide their residents with an ample amount of amenities. They are always available to contact and are very timely with their response. Morning coffee, fitness centers, weekly activities, and much more are provided while living here. Maintenance is also incredibly helpful and always fixes any issue within 24 hours!

I love the quality of the rooms here, they are so spacious and comfy that I never want to leave. If there is ever a problem, the support team is always there for my roomates and I when we need it.

Ive lived at Stanhope for three years now, and I have loved every minute! There are so many amazing amenities, like a two story gym, a pool, and a cyber lounge! You really cant beat the location. NCSU campus is less than a two minute walk away. Plus theres places like CVS, Cha House, and iHOP located in the same building. My personal favorite, Cup a Joe, is right across the street. Everything you need is within walking distance.All of the staff is super friendly and helpful. Not to mention, maintenance is always quick and professional. Both the office staff and maintenance truly show that they care about residents. They do Free Food Friday and offer other giveaways from time to time! Overall, I would definitely recommend living at Stanhope!

Quite nice, good service, lived here for two years :) Only complaint is that the security is awfully intrusive-- I have seen actual Raleigh PD walking around the halls aimlessly several times.

Stanhope is a great place to live. There is excellent service if anything ever needs to be fixed. Stanhope also has a events constantly that are fun to go to and offer free food.

Other apartments during quarantine: understand the complexity of this economic time and work with tenants.Stanhope during Quarantine: remove all available services to the point where even GARBAGE is no longer collected and still happily charge you full price.

Someone in my family has lived in Stanhope since its been opened and we have loved it. Stanhope is a nice, upscale student apartment complex right next to campus. The amenities are top of the line including a nice gym, pool, free gas grills, free printing and coffee in the Cyber Cafe, study rooms on each floor, and you have the option to park on the floor you live on. The office staff and maintenance staff are hard-working and super friendly. I definitely recommend Stanhope to anyone looking for an apartment!

Living at Stanhope this Fall has been a great experience. Im only a 15 min walk (tops!) away from my classes, I always feel safe, and the staff here is awesome! All of the amenities here provide me with everything I could ever need from a living community (free printing, study lounges, etc.) and the location is ideal.

As a resident at Stanhope I can say it is a very nice place to live. The building and rooms are clean and nice and they always have events for residents like cookouts or professional headshots! They really do think about the students living here and provide a great place for them to live while at school. Plus its so close to campus!

My son has lives here for two years. Conveniently located to his classes and to coffee and take out restaurants. The amnesties are standard, it feels very institutional, but serves the purpose of housing a lot of people in a consolidated space. 4 students per suite and private bathroom is a plus. Pricey and can be difficult to get in. Fills up quickly. Parking is expensive as well.

As a parent of a student who lived at Stanhope, I would like to highly commend the community manager, Ms. Karlinski, for going above and beyond her managerial duties. From the very beginning, Ms. Karlinski took the time to personally address any concerns I had of my student living there, reassuring me that Stanhope was the place for him. Throughout the entire time of his stay, I had other communications with Ms. Karlinski, each time proving to me she genuinely has the best interests of her residents at heart. I could not have been more pleased as a parent knowing that my student was in such good hands!

Although it’s a little pricey, the location and amenities Stanhope has to offer are incredible!! From study rooms to a spray tan room to a game room, it’s got it all! Everyone is so nice and welcoming, I’ve had the best experience!
