Worst hair cut in my lifetime. Botched my cut badly. Used dull scissors and clippers. My head is still irritated after 3 days. I now have a landing strip on top of my head. I look like I have a Justin Bebier haircut now. All I wanted was the sides to be blended and my hair shortened. Lady who cut my hair didnt care to listen how I wanted it cut. Now I have to wear a hat and I am 32$ down. Very unprofessional. I am now embarrassed in the way I look. I looked better before I got this haircut. Thanks Bishops! You have now given me the self confidence I have always desired!Beware!!! 🦳🦲

I’ve had quite a few cuts from Bishop’s over the years and have found a specific stylist at Raleigh hills who I go to exclusively now. However, I had the day off and needed a cut so booked the only available appointment I could find at Bridgeport with Ariel. She did an amazing job and I am encouraged to know I can put my confidence in essentially any Bishop’s location. I would definitely revisit this location and Ariel knowing I would leave satisfied with my decision. Thank you again Ariel!

Horrible. If you have ethnic hair DO NOT GO HERE. I have curly hair and my normal guy was booked so I took a gamble and went here. Completely regret it. I asked for a little taper and did not get that at all. Uneven and botched it completely. Horrible place for a haircut if you don’t have straight hair

Wow. This place was terrible. My partner had an appointment today and the stylist completely botched her hair. She asked for a 2 inch trim, layering the cuts to look seamless. Instead, they took off 6 inches! As for the layering, the stylist took off chunks in 1-2in increments. They also were going to let her walk out with wet hair, she had to ask for them to blow dry / style it! The stylist messed this up as well by rushing and not completely finishing the job. On top of all this, the store manager was rude to her when she arrived. This is a low quality salon and I cannot recommend it.

I’m new to the area and accidentally booked myself at the SW location downtown instead of this one listed in Tualatin.Upon arriving and discovering the mistake, I was welcomed like an intruder rather than a customer. I tried laughing off the mixup (again being that I was new to this side of town) and asked if they’d slide me in at some point today since I was on a break at work and had 2 big events coming up within the next 48 hours (I really needed a touch-up!). The woman helping me reluctantly booked me for an appointment a few hours later. Let me note that I didn’t give her a hard time at all, in fact it was me that made the mistake so I was just happy she agreed to schedule me despite it seeming like she didn’t want to.For the second time, I show up and AGAIN receive an extremely unreceptive response upon entering. The girl was visibly frustrated I accidentally entered through the wrong set of doors. She didn’t introduce herself the entire appointment.Then the service came, I told her I wanted a simple fade and to please not touch the top at all in which she insisted that she would have to blend my hair. Given, my last cut was at a different Bishops location a couple weeks prior, nothing needed to be blended. I just needed to be lined up for a friends wedding tonight and an interview the following day. The reason she insisted on this was to upsell me to a $32 cut as opposed to the $17 buzz cut I had originally booked. I work in sales, I get it but come onnnnn. The haircut took her less than 15 minutes!When paying, I asked her about the upcharge in which she backpedaled a nonsensical excuse for why I was now paying double for a 10-minute haircut. Something along the lines of, “my Clippers are metal” and “your fade was extensive”. I’ve been going to Bishops since I was a kid but was disappointed with this location.If you’re going for a fade, it’s not worth your time, energy, OR money. I can’t speak for any of their other services.

Ariel was very personable, easy to talk to, and easy on the eyes. Looks like Sports Clips just lost a customer.

Meghan did a great job cutting my hair after it grew into a shaggy mess during quarantine. Theyre taking appointments because their area is open under the reopening phases, so theyre a great option. Really good value and Meghan listened intently to what I wanted from the cut and did a great job. Nice staff too and everyone is wearing masks and adhering to guidelines.

Great cut! However, it was a little more expensive than other nearby shops with similar services.

Normally, I just go to wherever is cheapest, but never again (not to say they are absurdly expensive, but they arent a $10 cut kinda place, either). After my experience there, I can confidently say there is no comparison. Angel was amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, quick, funny, and very respectful. I always get a faux-hawk up top, but I like to give my barber free reign on how to style my beard, just to see what they think will look best. For the first time ever, she chose to go with a more pointy look (instead of squared or rounded). Turns out, I look fantastic with a pointy beard! Thanks, Angel, and thanks Bishops. Ill be back!

Haircuts are important to me. I recently moved from NC to OR and have been looking for a new go-to place to get my haircut in town. I did a walk-in with Angel at Bishops (Bridgeport location), and was extremely happy with the results. Angel took time to speak with me about what I was looking for, helped with some questions and provided suggestions, and provided a great cut. Im very pleased with the results and the experience. I will be a repeat customer.

I was on the fence about cutting my hair. It was driving me crazy, but something kept holding me back. I decided to just show up at Bishops and leave it to fate- if they could take me right away, Id cut it, if not, I wouldnt. Lucky for me they fit me in right away (and were super nice about it!) and Stephanie did an amazing job on my hair. She talked me through my options, had a great sense of humor, and really cared about the desired outcome for me. She gave me some suggestions to help my breakage without trying to sell me anything. This particular shop does a great job with social distancing and safety measures in COVID. One way entry, ready antibac on both ends of counter, the stylists all have masks, and they work with you to cut/style your hair even with masks on. Excellent! Not to mention, the haircut looks great!

My hair cut only took 20 minutes from the time i sat down to the time i left. It was a great experience. It looks wonderful and the people were very kind! The prices are really good too!

This was my first time going to Bishops. It was not a welcoming experience. My hair dresser did a good job. All I wanted was a trim. But I expected to at least get my hair washed. Thank goodness my hair was straight or the cuts would have probably been sideways. I know bishops is known for their quick and easy appeal, but they could use better customer service. And offer your customers beer! I know you guys have it ☹️

I went in to Bishops today because I had tried to dye my hair. KEY WORD there was try. I have very dark hair and it is hard to get it to take color. I had been embarrassed to go in to get it corrected but when I got there every single stylist reassured me that this happens more often than I would think. After I was put at ease mentally Kirsten got to work making my hair look perfect! She corrected the spots that needed it and gave me the gold color I was hoping for. I left the salon in the best mood and cant wait to go back!

They all know how to cut hair very well but some can work on their customer service. 2/3 of our hairstylist were rude at times. I would come back but I think we will go to the Bishops on NW 23rd next time, always had a great experience there.

These other reviews cannot be real. Walked in on a Saturday and it was completely empty. Confirmed with front desk what I wanted done and the price before agreeing to book, then again with the stylist. She begins cutting and then makes a comment of do you want me just to blend this...? as if its a tiny part, no big deal. I agree, she then begins removing a substantial amount of hair on one side I did not want removed. I speak up and she goes well its kind of late now and then continues. I soon learned why: when it came time to pay she attempted to charge me DOUBLE with no prior warning or discussion whatsoever. Never, ever, going back to this location.
