I got the highest package for $29.99. They did a good job outside, but the inside was not done well. Poor vacuum and they did not touch the center console at all. Instead thats part of their +$10 package that blows out the space between your door and seats, and other hard to reach places. No armor all on my dash or side panel leather. I also had a dog protection cover on my backseat that I took off when they got started and stowed it in the trunk, but the seat was still not vacuumed well. Theyre pretty pushy with the +$10 upcharge to do your center console (which should have been included for $30) and their monthly unlimited package ($40, or an additional +$10 if you initially got the $30 package, like I did). I got the unlimited basic washes for the remainder of the month, so hopefully on other visits (I plan on at least once a week for the next month), they will improve and I can revisit this review.Update after second wash from the monthly package I purchased: Dropped one 2 to 1 star. Still extremely dissatisfied with their work. Like many others have said, they do a terrible job vacuuming, and in the pictures, youll see my rims still dirty. Even plain water would have been able to wash that out. I would say they do the bare minimum, but even that would do a better job. And considering this a machine wash, not a hand wash, there are less places for the (overwhelming number of) staff to address. Reading other peoples reviews, it seems like others have the same experience and yet the owner, Mike is completely cavalier, and passive aggressively rude in some of the responses. Hi I went today for my car wash. I choose latest option plus 10 $ extra I paid 42$ + for car wash but still they not clean well you can see easily. Not worth it to pay this much money and not getting better service from them. Interior did good but exterior not worth it to spend 42$.

There were 7 people cleaning the car, but they cleaned nothing, I saw them looking at the trunk then they looked at each other and move. A day later I opened the trunk, and its still dirty!! Even the top of the trunk as it shown in the picture there is dust and tree stuff. Even under the seats, Theres sand!I will never wash it again here and thank God I said no when the cashier asked me to get their membership.

I had some issues with my membership. Joe, darbin and rosvaldo was able to resolve it and they were very friendly and understood my situation. All staff members are friendly and I like the car wash service here.

After my review, the manager Mike responded and I find his response kind of rude .So I send an email asking to cancel my membership. He responded again but this time he was more polite and he expressed his concerns about my review and he offered a free month membership. After a few back and forth emails I said Im going to change my review after I try this place again before my membership ends and if Im satisfied I accept his offer. So today I tried the place again and it was better and I change the stars from 1 to 3

My money is refunded to my bank account.Going forward, he requested me to contact him or send an email for any future disputes.My issue with them is never about the wash, but the subscription issue. Which is sorted out promptly by them.Googlers: please do communicate to the owner directly for any issues. He is kind enough to listen and fix things. At least, this is my experience with him.----------Biggest fraud ever. Never give your credit card. They charge your card illegally.To owners response. I know how to read. Everyone knows how to read, you fraud.

I am pleased with the service provided here (Edison). I have taken basic unlimited service and found the service to be better than expected. Following are the positive things1. they do vaccum clean your car everytime2. a lot of workers are available once the car comes out from wash and they make sure to clean your car with hand3. waiting time is negligibleI just wish that automatic clean up of car is slightly better in general since some dusts are not yet removed after several wash (but I think its general with any car wash). I will definitely do business with them (maybe with higher package to see if it makes difference).

This is platinum wash can u believe this. Nothing is clean as per the platinum wash. This car wash need to shut down this people literally stilling money. This is my 3rd time bad experience. In 1st & 2nd time I thought that was by mistake but this people doing everytime I visit. And also they are not putting on system correctly. I would suggest dont wash your car with company at all.

This car wash place is as bad as you could get for the money you pay. They got me enrolled into a plan that charges $39.99 for a month and mentioned that everything gets cleaned inside and outside. When I went for the car wash, they said it only covers basic wash and vacuum. They only vacuum the places easy to vacuum and nothing else. Staff is unprofessional and don’t care. Stay away from this one.

I went to this place like 2 months ago and their they left the window open of my car while washing when the manager saw that he issued me a coupon for a free vip wash as I had taken deep clean package for the car. And now when I went to this location after 2 months for my car wash they say SORRY that manager left so we can’t do this wash anymore you will have to pay for the wash.Is this how you treat your customers? How is this place still open? When the previous owner/ management was at this location every car wash I had went smoothly. However the new owner is unprofessional, rude, and does not know how to communicate. Before you ask me if I asked for the manager and call your own customers keyboard warriors for warning other about your horrendous service, ask yourself if this is how a business should be ran. I shouldn’t have to ask for a manager every time just for the issue to not be solved, maybe you should run your business properly :) Don’t waste your time coming here, I think the rain will clean your car better than this sad of excuse of a “car wash” and a man worried more about money and selling membership than his customers.

I came in and my car at first it looked cleaned but than paying for the hugest package expecting a good job not good after all. It’s like when you wash a car with water only. It could be they wash the car car with the machine and charge an arm and a leg for it. It was my first time at this place and the quality give it a C- more of a D+

Went to this place for an oil change and nearly got into a fight. The guy at the lube job drained my oil and then tells me the oil change will cost me almost double because they have to use synthetic oil. I said just forget about the oil change because I can get it done cheaper at the dealership. They never check with me and then try to blame me for their mistake and demanded I pay up. They held me hostage until I called the cops to calm things down. The guy put regular oil in my car and said if anything happens they are not responsible. I drove my car to the dealer and got it done correctly but the dealer told me because the Trax car wash used regular oil my engine may breakdown. I would never use this place EVER AGAIN and looking forward to suing them if my car breaks down.

Fighting a dispute with this car wash who signed me up for a monthly subscription. Now they do not want to refund the money but want to fight it and mentioned that I will lose. Well, I already lost my money. I am making sure that others dont duped into their scheme and I get my money back.Update - Based on your response.While signing up for any service you are supposed to tell your customer that they are being enrolled into a monthly service. You do not sneak it into without telling them a word. Your cashier did not say a word. He said pay $2 more and you can have free service for a month till Jan 25. Nothing else. If you look at your brochure its just rates in front. Its a one page brochure which no one will bother to look whats written at the back unless you are told about it. Just a word from your employee would have made all the difference.Now coming to refund. You are offering a month free. Why do I accept that, when I do not need or want your service. To let you know that even though I had one month of free service till Jan 25 (or at least that is what I thought), I never went back to your service center for car wash. Instead of giving a refund you are offering a service which I am not interested and have been forced up by your company. So yeah, I would say that it is a scheme to force people into 3 months plan to the least. You lure them by telling them that they will pay only $2 more and then charge another $42. They will cancel only if they check their credit card regularly. In my case this scheme pays you $61.82 for three month as opposed to $17 that I was supposed to pay. Again, I am lucky to have noticed this now, what if I had not noticed this for a year. Will you call you customers and say, sir you have been paying every month and not getting your car washed. I doubt that. But now make a note and do call them up so that they dont feel cheated. I am happy to lose my money If I do not get a refund. I dont want to work with a company like yours.I hope you improve your work ethics in future for all your happy customers.

The young staff at the entrance where they vacuum didn’t even fully vacuum. Terrible service. Just inspect your car after the wash and you will notice that interior cleanliness will be almost the same as it was before the wash.Brought my second car for the apparent Platinum wash (had a car detailed earlier); The seats, dash board and even steering wheels apparently was untouched with lot of the stains. When reached out to the manager on the site EDGAR Bravo, he was surprisingly rude enough to argue that I have cough up $10 more for the additional service/package. He has guts to say it after asking us to wait and come in line once again. I actually got the name of the owner and emailed him before writing this detailed google visible review, sorry.

Bad service playing with prices and service overpriced you don’t get what you pay

Took my car here after more than a year without a wash or a thorough vacuuming, so it desperately needed some love. These guys did a great job considering the time of year and Covid-19. Quick and efficient but complete. I was so pleased I took a newer car there later that day and they did a thorough cleaning on it too. I will definitely be back.

Just oil change. Free car wash. But old owners is good. Some resnabale price. Its little bit more.

The car wash facility is really good. I have the monthly membership. Plan to go on non weekends. Lots of cars during weekends and results in services getting little degraded as the staff gets overloaded. Many times need to remind them to put the air freshener and apply the polish on the tires.Overall good place. Been a member for quite some time. Then the owners changed and things improved but got little expensive.A little expensive if you own two cars. They should have some plans for owners with two cars and if they can substitute the cars for a little higher fee than the monthly membership. Maybe one car 4 times a month and other car twice a month for 15$ add-on fee. Just an example. Not an expert in the business but i would certainly take up on such an offer. Especially useful for folks who don’t drive both cars every day.

Not that good. I had platinum extreme cleaning. Paid $48 for it. After the wash I could she lots of chemical spots. The car didnt even shine.

Everytime I have my car clean there, I have to clean again. My car doesnt even need that much cleaning but it seems just a proper vacuume and just wiping is not done. I have been to this place many times just to give it another try, but it seems their service is not so good.

Cleaning and wiping can be done little better..not good with cleaning there still some dirt left which is visible in the external body.

After I left I noticed water spots and other marks still on my hood. I cleaned it off when I got home and all is well now. They also seemed to have raised their prices because I used to get the dash and interior door cleaning for that ~$26 price point for all the years Ive been coming here. Hopefully next time will be better.

Stopped in for an exterior car wash. I found it pricey at nearly $15. Brushless system, pretty well maintained. Blower at the end was not working very well. Staff was ok. Tight quarters. They are focused on monthly and annual plans. Not worth it for a single wash. They are not really properly set up for interior cleaning.

Worst service ever paid 45$ for the car wash and think like I got ripped off. After changing the owner the quality of services has gone totaly down.. staff has attitude and ego issue. Never repeating to this place again.

I come here at least twice a week for a car wash and recently started getting my oil changes here. Jason and the rest of the staff is more then professional and very polite. They answered all my questions and didn’t get annoyed by any of them. The Cashier woman is very nice and makes those 10 min of waiting for your car to by dried very pleasant. Great spot to go to. I have the works unlimited pass a it basically pays for itself well worth the money !

Went to get a car wash today, the guy offered a thorough vacuum and disinfecting service. Which was slightly more than I usually pay. But I agreed to it.After the car was washed they let it sit there in the sun for 20 mins to air dry. Took every other car before getting to mine (even though I got here before them). I get you may be understaffed but don’t offer a service you can’t physically support.This is the norm for this business, I haven’t been here in a while so I forgot. But they really let my car air dry for 20 mins, didn’t wipe it down from the outside and let my engine run for that long. I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning.And before the owner responds with a nasty response like he has been to the other reviews- maybe learn professionalism before leaving biased/disrespectful responses to all the people that have had a poor experience at the Edison location.

The machine wash was ok. But the manual cleaning part after that is not good compared to other such facilities.5-6 people jumped on to clean but the output was a shady job at best. I still saw dirt and sand in side the car. Vacuum doesn’t work?I could have given a 3star just for the machine wash part but their attitude when I pointed them to the dirt forced me to give 1 star. The cleaning staff don’t understand what you are saying. Thats perfectly ok given our diversity but when I called the store lady and showed her the dirt inside, she completely ignored my ask and said I need led to buy a $129 detailing packaging.I am educated enough to understand cleaning vs detailing. All I asked was a decent vacuuming and cloth wiping and its included in the package. I believe its a fair ask too if you are spending $40 for a car wash. Took me 5 mins to do that myself later.Never going back there and will advise who ever asks me, to avoid this place. In my personal experience, there are many places where you can get a better service for $40.———I respect SMBs and didn’t want to do this but forced to write something after reading the Owner(Mike)’s response. I didn’t find a way to respond to his comment so had to edit my own post.Mike, I know what filthy means. I mentioned that it took roughly 5 mins for me to wipe out the dirt with a simple cloth. How filthy it can be? And for that your store should ask for a $129 detailing? Come on..I didn’t spend time writing the review expecting help or money back. I want you to understand where you can improve and work on those. No one is perfect but we always strive to improve. So take the feedbacks positively and work on those.

The establishment has changed management several times. I just wish they really had passion for making sure the car is thoroughly wiping down the interior.

I have used them in the past and was always happy, but today I paid fir platinum service and got the basic. I still have sand on my weather tech Mats. My consoles are still dirty, looks like they just moved the dust around and didn’t really clean it. I even left with one of their rags they used to clean the car they left it in the dash. The outside of the car was good! But in interior looked like they didn’t touch it. Don’t pay for any additional stuff just get basic all the others prices are a rip off.

I live in the area and do like this car wash. I think compared to others in the area, they do a pretty solid job. This is my 3rd time here and I get that sometimes it does make more sense to do unlimited, but the unlimited sales manager is way too aggressive. He had a line building as he was flipping out on what seemed to be an employee on his cell phone. I then said no thank you to the unlimited package and he basically chewed my head off. If you need someone to aggressively sell unlimited packages fine, but also have someone separate ringing customers up. We’re still in a pandemic and not everyone wants to be aggressively sold every time they go to get a car wash.

This carwash is a SCAM. They turned my one time car wash into a monthly membership and when I called to cancel, they created fictitious dates when my car magically received car wash! I dont even live in NJ. Make sure to AVOID.

W have had their monthly program for years for two cars. I love a speak car and if you need to go twice in the same day, thats ok2. Caring service from their workers makes this a bargain!

Recently changed management and thus the name change. I used to be regular with Jersey car wash.The prices shot up drastically and the quality of car wash is bad. Previously with an oil change and free car wash I used to pay around $55, but now I paid around $82. Interior car wash is no longer free even with an expensive oil change. You still have to pay $5+ tax and $2 extra for trunk vaccum for basic interior cleaning.Bye bye Trax, you wont see either of my 3 cars from now. I wish you good luck.

My honest opinion about Trax car wash is NOT GOOD. They only care about whats in your wallet. And when they mess up they blame it on the customer. Was there this morning and I paid for the most expensive wash, roughly $31 and change with tax. I thought the service was great but I do think for this price point they should be cleaning the center console and cup holder area. Especially since I left a five dollar tip and I do tip every time I come here. It’s a quick service that makes a big difference when looking for a car wash one will consistently go to. I might also suggest that some of the owner responses on here are a bit harsh and reading them from a customer standpoint you might consider just not responding if you don’t have something positive to say to the person who’s leaving a review. Again from a customer standpoint they just don’t appear to be friendly or welcoming and I’d hate to see someone lose business because of some things so silly. This wash is pretty close to me so I’ll probably give them another chance since I did enjoy the rest of the service less the lack of console cleaning!

I’ve been using this car wash for several years. This is the best car wash in the area by far. I was a little bit scared when I saw the ownership change but it seems like they care and are making improvements to make this a better car wash than in the past.

Call in advance to see if they are open. The service is good, but Ive noticed a couple times they close earlier than the website says.

For years I have been going to this location before it became Trax. Besides a very rare water on my seats I always was pleased with the carwash and my foremost reason I would go is I love my car mates can be washed. Id pass up three car washes to go here. However, my first time here, this past Saturday, since it changed names and I wasnt happy. As I drove home I notice my windshield had streaks. When I got home I investigated a little more, no vacuuming or very little of, streaks on rear window as well as the car itself. The washing and drying of the cars has dropped in quality. And I called to report it, I had to leave a message, and I have not received a call back. If you decide to chance it, inspect your car before you drive off.

Average car wash and lame interior cleaning. I was planning to get full detailing service but thought of trying full wash first and so glad I did. Trax car wash is the best! The place is renovated and is like brand new. They get my car so clean and everyone is so friendly. I’m in the Unlimited Club and I’m saving so much money! I love that they have a oil change onsite, it’s so convenient. Highly recommend!

TRAX Edison is phenomenal! The renovations and improvements have made a huge difference! Everyone was so warm and nice and the service was excellent. Mike the new owner and the crew are so attentive and really care about getting your car clean. I am a Unlimited Club member and the savings are incredible. I also use my barcode at their New Brunswick and Metuchen facilities. As icing on the cake I get 10% all oil changes and car repairs as a member! Try this place, you will love it!

I had very bad experience at the car wash. They offered free exterior wash with the oil change. I paid extra to clean inside of the car, they just vacuumed the car and did not clean or wipe anything. All the dirt on floor was spread on to seat and dashboard. I will have to take my car to another place to get cleaned. Staff is very unfriendly and not interested.

The quality of the car cleaning so bad that I had to vacuum my car after going home again. they did not clean the cup holder and the boxes inside of the doors. They did not remove empty plastic bottle from the floor either. Its really bad. I would not recommend this location for anything.

I went there and I selected $29.99 which is the last car wash package they have included everything. But I am really unsatisfied because they didn’t clean my car properly not even they wash with hot wax and etc as per there package. I think this my last time. Mine certainly wasnt fake and when we spoke with the manager to explain our situation he said bye take care in a condescending tone. The manager clearly didnt care that we were unhappy and yet you ask us to contact you and when we find the way we were yelled at and dismissed horrifying enough, you accuse this of being fake. Laughable and unprofessional.------Horrible service. DO NOT go here unless you want to be BERATED FOR NO REASON. This is for the man with the beard at the front who was giving extreme attitude, trying to up charge for a synthetic upgrade, trying to get more money when the only thing requested was an oil change.Then RAISING his voice that we wouldn’t pay more money for upgrades we didnt ask for. Decent car wash but the prices are outrageous. I paid $14 and change for an exterior only wash. Most hand wash places charge less than that. I dont think Ive ever paid that much for a machine wash before.

I went to wash my car using the coupon book I had from Jersey Auto Spa not realizing the company had changed. There was an increase in the service price and I felt uneasy that I needed to pay any additional cost. I emailed the owner immediately and shortly following received his response. His immediate action and obligation to customer service is very appreciated these days.

I think the Owner of Trax a new franchise Car Wash need to define the Word Unlimited Packages do not expect the customer will appreciate high price and new Sheriff in town and new pricing and making new Rules. Must be customer friendly oriented in retail industry.
